Yalc Kcin: 0/5 StarsOne of the worst insurance companies ever. They claim to care about your health and wellness. They don't. They could careless.... I have a neurological issue going on were I've had to get 2 MRIs and seeing my doctor quite a bit trying to figure it out. My doctor recommended I dont drive until they figure out what's causing these issues and we set up an appointment for neurology but it would be a few months. I had sent over all this information to the Hartford so I could get disability to help me pay off my almost 10k in medical debt now and they denied it. Basically said they know more then doctors and im fine. Even told me I can drive to do work. Who are these people and how are they licensed to decide things like this? So now I have no income, can't walk around and function properly so I can't work, will soon run out of money to pay my bills. I wish the company I worked for had picked someone that actually cared and did research into what they can do to help me.
grace love: What a HORRIBLE company to have for LTD. insurance. One star is too good for them. They are Not accredited with the BBB. My employer contracts them for our LTD benefits. I advise anyone to save your money to obtain LTD benefits from another company that cares about the lives of their clients. As long as you have a pulse, no matter your condition, The Hartford will do ALL that they can do to NOT PAY BENEFITS. I have been unable to work for 7 months with no income, do to dormant medical issues that were flared from contracting COVID 19. Do not pay into their benefits because if the time comes that you need them, they will not pay you OR you must be prepared to sue them. I've sent the same paperwork to them over and over from my doctor. I was denied a first time for something that had absolutely nothing to do with my condition. I appealed. I was denied a second time due to an "independent doctor" that The Hartford hired to rule that their clients can work. My medical records were sent out to an undisclosed doctor. No name nor credentials were presented. The contracted doctor read my file (did not examine me) but READ my file and ruled that I am able to work. It could've been Dr DoLittle for all I know. Two reputable doctors that actually did examine me both conclude that I am not able to work. One primary care physician and one specialist to my condition. I am getting evicted because of the Hartford. BEWARE. !!!! Seeking legal advice!!
V L: Consumer Reports says insurance companies frequently lower your premiums when you get a new roof. I contacted The Hartford for a discount but instead they increased my premium! And you can't contact them by email only by phone which can take a long time.

Jennifer Faulkner: If I could rate this company zero stars I would. This is my husbands short term disability insurance through his employer. This is by far the worst experience with a disability insurance we’ve ever had. I have my own through my employer and they never have an issue receiving my paperwork, contacting me, returning phone calls, and approving my claims with days. DAYS. The Hartford by comparison says they never receive paperwork from our doctor (the doctors office sent it 3 times and we sent it 3 different times), can never return phone calls and every representative says something different. It is astounding. My husbands sickleave paperwork for surgery was submitted June around June 15. He did not get paid until August 3. It took them that long to approve a straightforward surgery claim where he had to be off 8 weeks. We called multiple multiple times to be told the caseworker was looking at it. For 7 weeks?! We requested supervisors to call him back. Nothing. Come to find out his caseworker went out of leave of absence and no one was looking at his claim. That is unacceptable and unprofessional. When his leave got extended for an additional 4 weeks the same thing continues to happen. Lost paperwork. No return phone calls from supervisors or caseworkers. As of September 14 we are still waiting for his last 5 weeks of sick pay. He has already returned to work. Ironically, my own disability/fmla insurance provider approved my 2 weeks off that I needed to stay home with him within 3 days of his surgery. I would never use this company or recommend them to anyone. It’s nothing but a headache. It’s been several hours of phone calls- multiple phone calls weekly. And for older people or people who may not understand fully they probably never get paid their claim money. My husbands surgeon and family doctor said this is the worst company to deal with and they dread anytime someone has papers from The Hartford.

The claim agent was not concern about what I thought would be good news. The agent called a Freud agent to investigate. I was left feeling some kind of way because of the claim agent form an personal opinion about me.I had save the company thousands of dollars and the company made me feel like I had done something wrong.I am unhappy with some of the people who represent Hartford, and I no longer want to be a member with Hartford.

Dave Cooper: Hartford Group is a crook They bait and switch. First they quote you one price, then you get the policy and they have raised the price. You call in, nobody knows what you are talking about or why you were quoted that price.It has happened every single time I have made a change in my policy, each time they lie, then cheat you, and raise the price. Terrible, terrible, terrible group . . . highly unethical. Thank God I never had to rely on them for a claim. With their ethics, I can just imagine how that would have gone.

K Nairn: Nice complex. Too easy to get lost. Not enough guest parking. Pet friendly. The 2 bdrm 2 bth was only 1400 SF for $1600/mo and the layout had some wasted space that could have been better utilized. Kitchen really small. No storage space to speak of beyond bedroom closet. Ugh. Good location in Macomb twp. Just overpriced because it's in upcoming new area. Really need to update condo accordingly and not just "pacify" with a few adjustments and a paint touchup. Sorry. Tip: Renter, be aware and be savvy. Don't be willing to settle. If owner is cutting corners, you're probably not going to see much change down the road.

Michelle Duffy: I could not be more happy with my decision to purchase in Hartford Village. MJC Companies is fantastic to work with. Alyson in the Sales Office is wonderful - she really made my purchase experience easy and she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was attended to.MJC Companies stands behind their product. After moving in I had a few minor issues and Lance made sure the repairs were completed and that I was completely satisfied. First class all the way!
Dave or Ann Glaser: Many things to like, but the noise level is unacceptable---I live in a lower unit and I can hear every step the person above me takes---I did expect to hear some noise, but these sounds are not muted---there is like no soundproofing---customer service refuses to help

Theresa Dodson: I visited Hartford Village last week. It is very clean, and I liked the gated community style. There does seem to be a problem regarding phone/code entrance. Besides that, I am interested in a tour.
sarah garcia: I Love my Aunt's apartment. Love the mgt. Residents are so kind. The building is beautiful and well done. They have Security on site. A big plus. The residents have activities you can participate in. They also have a small gym for the residents. And a hair stylist. Very nice.

I'd like to thank Ms. Taylor for her ready spirit to getting the job done efficiently along with her staff of nurses and attendants! Social work staff is out of sight and helpful and caring. Thank you!!!! To my new Hartford family that always has an encouraging words to spare in the difficult times thank you! And ladies, I needed every last word from God. From the front desk all the way to the nurses station.This facility has the most clean, caring, and loving atmosphere that I've ever seen in the city of Detroit or any other rehab facility in/out of the city. They not only met my needs, they surpassed them in soooo many ways. I recommend this facility to anyone and everyone.Thank you,Hartford Nursing and Rehabilitation Staff
Chelsea Hollins: The rehabilitation was aesthetically pleasing because it is newly built & it’s clean , but HR needs to do a better job with who they hire because most of the staff lacks professionalism.My father, a former patient, complained about him sitting the same spot all day , sometimes wet.I’ve observed myself the lack of respect the staff gives to the patients they feel are mentally incompetent.The staff didn’t even know my father was admitted into emergency & would not be returning to rehab from dialysis ; I had to call to update them after my father called me confused on his whereabouts.Only if family members constantly call do things get done.They do not follow legal guidelines regarding voluntary discharge either.

The staff was a hot mess, are miserable at heartford just like the work staff. New woman workers come and they do the most Donna is a horrible CNA just pure evil. Evil would best describe these girl worker's. They did provide good meals that off to kitchen it's also clean. But those providers. SMH.
Cherrylyn Nelson: This place is a slaughterhouse for the elderly. They are non caring. They kept telling me that my mother was dehydrated and to keep giving her water. I asked after her being there for the first 3 days what is she eating cause she had gained 15 lbs. in 3 days and to come to find out I had to take my mother to the hospital her bladder was over filled and she could have died. She had to have a blood transfusion. The nurse Mrs. Hunter kept saying she needs to keep drinking water and all the time she was retaining it. DONT TAKE YOUR LOVE ONES THERE. Murders of the elderly. God is good my mother is ok now! GOOD THING I BOUGHT HER HOME. They were going to kill my mother by constantly giving her water. Just remember y’all are going to get old and I hope you don’t have to go to a place like this they are worse than those 5 police officers in Memphis they are unattended to the people they are caring for. Rude non communication people. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE LOVE ONES THAT THEY ARE CARING FOR IN THAT FACILITATE. If I hadn’t bought her home she would have died! Lol Ms E. Gate-Taylor told me when I asked her what is my mother eating she had gained 15 lbs. in 3 days she said it was the food. NAW BABY GIRL IT WAS THW WAYER RETAINING IN HER BODY AND BLADDER. omg don’t trust these people with anyone you care about to care for them and keep them safe! Not going to happen. They running focused on their hair (wigs,weaves etc.) yup God will deal with them. All I have to say is don’t do it.. I will never trust them again with my mother. They have a BAD REPUTATION FROM EMT TECHS. Etc

Yolonda Monroe: I typically do not write reviews, but I felt I needed to write one. My father was a patient in the rehab facility for about a month after surgery. Let me start by saying the Rehab facility looks nice. However, the lack of communication regarding his care was very frustrating, to say the least. He fell out of a chair and no once contacted me, his legal guardian. I was told the next day by my father that he had fallen. Per my father, he would be told things about his care and discharge. However, when my sister or I would ask about what he was told, no one knew anything. When I would call to follow up on his care, I was always told someone would call me back, which only happened once or twice when I expressed my frustration after having to have call so many times to speak with someone who could give me answers. In addition, there was one instance where we waited thirty minutes for someone to come in and change him. Lastly, I was told by one of the social workers that they were going to take care of setting up his Outpatient Physical, Occupational and home care services for continued care after his discharge. That did not occur. I called and left multiple messages for someone to call me back for assistance on getting this setup. It has been three weeks since he was discharged and no one has called back to date nor has anyone from the home care services reached out to us to get his therapy scheduled. This has now caused a delay/disruption of his treatments. This has not been a good customer service experience for me and my family. Sorry to say I would not recommend this place nor send my dad back there if he needed additional rehab facility services.
Danny Dunlap: I am currently a patient.. The only issue I had when I was transferred from Sinai Grace via Ambulance. It took over 20 hours to start my medications. Was told it was the phamacy. It seems unreasonable. Besides that. Staff is great. Physical therapy is helpful. If you need care. It's a good choice for my injuries and recovery. The food has been good. You will be interviewed by the dietician. And Medical staff.

Starr Buchanan: My mom is at this facility 6/25/22 as I'm typing this she is not getting her medicine on time , Nobody Is checking on her , Changing her NOTHING.... so I'm VERY sure no other patients are being looked after ... This is insane , False advertisement and EXTREMELY unprofessional... nobody cares about the short staff , COVID bs anymore this is ridiculous... they're waiting 6-7 hours before someone comes into their room on weekends and then when they come they're still not helping the patient.... Stop accepting patients just for the money when this facility knows they don't have the staff to attend to the patients.... I will be contacting the state on Monday because someone has to do something about this immediately.

Kitty Sims: They took very good care of my mom & grandma . My grandma was there for 8 weeks after a back surgery and my mom was there for 6 weeks after a surgery on her ankle . They both didn’t want to go into a rehabilitation center but once there they enjoy the activities and the care they received.

Kristen Wakinewizski: Worked at this place. Worst mistake of my life. Clinical Manager is unprofessial,rude,bully and had her favorites. Being yelled at in the nurses station by her and other so called Managers was the most uncomfortable I have ever felt in my life. They set u up to fail. Its been a few years now but it something that I will never forget. Do yourself a favor and dont even send in your resume.
