The staff is fantastic and the work they do is impeccable.Edit: 4/12/23 The new decreased hours and unavailability to do an oil change for a week is disappointing as I have to find somewhere else to take my vehicles to accommodate my schedule and availability. ICS: Was pricey $$$ they did great work but, when I asked a price and knew the problem they wanted to charge $149.00 diagnostic fee. If you know this is your new Auto shop and may bring in other people who may use them you have to compromise. They didn't and I found a diagnostic fee of $50.00 and did the Job within hours and did a terrific job and they were busy and got us out in 4 hours. The guys were down to earth and Great conversation. I am no longer interested in Sterling Care..

KRISSY: Don't waste your money here. I just needed one part of my car looked at. I told the guy at the desk what was wrong-it was an obvious issue needing repair. They give you the runaround and claim everyone gets a courtesy inspection and yet then charge you $150 for an inspection that's not even applied to labor.... The guy I worked with was extremely cocky and I decided to not continue business since I felt they ripped me off and I left. Their estimates on repairs (even minor things) were outrageous as well. I was contacted AFTER I had already left and then told me I could get a better rate if I returned. Sadly, you already lost my trust just by letting me walk out and not caring then. I got the job completed elsewhere with quicker service, a far better rate, an actual FREE estimate/inspection and a warranty on top of that. You guys couldn't even provide that. All you gave me was a complete waste of my time and money.

I drop my car off and speak with the guys about the possible problem. I tell them that depending on the price for the engine repair, I may want them to take care of my brakes too while they have the car. Steve calls me to tell the issue with the engine and the cost. He then tells me that I don't need to get my brakes done right away as they were still good and would last me for a while. They could have easily told me different and charged me for the brakes. Any issues I’ve EVER had with my car I’ve always come here and they’ve always been extremely helpful, educated and most importantly, FAIR. Most auto shops will try to drain you for every penny. Classic Automotive Repair will make any suggestions or recommendations needed, but will be up front and honest about if it’s something that can wait or if it’s serious and needs to be addressed asap. Took my car to another place (hint: at 11 and woodward), and they were trying to upsell me over $1,200 worth of stuff for standard maintenance/transmissions fluid change, went to Classic Auto for a second opinion, and they told me what I ACTUALLY needed done on my car for just a couple hundred bucks. SEAN: Damien seems like a nice guy. Overall they were reasonably priced for the job. However, about 300 miles after having my starter replaced, my truck starting having exhaust leakage and rattling. The exhaust manifold had to be accessed as well as the heat shield. Both of which are an issue after the repair. Prior to the repairs, I had no such issues. Im overall unhappy with their service and will seek out other reputable shops.

Mike Haller: Got a brake job and had exhaust leaking into the car(exhaust leak). The crew there evaluated and gave me options for the exhaust leak. An inexpensive one(and understandably not guaranteed) and the "correct" fix. I went with the correct one. Much more expensive, but I did want it done right. I appreciated at least being given an option for a less expensive option. Nice to see they didn't automatically try to take every penny. I felt the labor rates were fair for the whole job, and they got it all done same day. They are busy however, so make an appointment!

I made a mistake telling them what kind of tire I needed and was never treated like I was stupid (even though my mistake was pretty stupid lol), which is kind of hard to come by being a young female at an auto place. I’m a car enthusiast so making a mistake like that hurt my pride a little bit.. but nonetheless they got me set up and taken care of within 24 hours and for a good price. J K: Got my winter tires here. They took forever putting the tires on, left my car early in the morning, came back in the evening to find it not done still. I was told they were just having a hard time with my car.Once winter was over, I got them changed back to the regular tires. Again, I came back to pick it up only to find it not finished yet. I was given the same excuse about how they were having such a hard time with my car.Was charged over $100 just to get them changed each time for the labor.Fast forward, my tires keep going flat. I have to pump them every 2 days. I took them to Discount Tires and they told me that whoever put my tires on ** MOUNTED MY TIRES ON BACKWARDS **. They fixed it all for me for only $40. They also finished in less than an hour. Don't know why you guys had such a hard time, Sterling Tire, that it took you guys 8+ hours plus did the job wrong... Don't know why you also charge more than double....If you're wondering if you should go here, just go to Discount Tires instead. Cheaper and much more competent.I was told by two people not to come here but I never listen because this place was more convenient to come to during work. Never again.Service:Tires

(When I got there I found out it was 60) Dave told me he didn’t have anything available until 8/3 I’m like cool. I dropped my car off at 9:00am on 8/3 and asked if I could possibly wait, being that I had an appointment. He told me they weren’t going to be able to get to my car for at least a couple of hours. So I left, and walked home. I then called back at 2:00pm he told me they still hadn’t got to it yet. I’m like cool. I called back at 5:30. And he told me they were closed. Blk Wht: Went to N&N for a radiator and timing belt replacement. Everything seemed to have gone well until my next oil change after the repair. The oil change mechanics indicated that the water pump on my vehicle was leaking. N&N did not catch this during the radiator replacement, which meant they did not pressurize the coolant system to check for leaks after the radiator replacement, a check that would likely have caught the water pump leak. This mistake is additionally egregious as usually the water pump and timing belt are replaced together.When I later had the water pump replaced, the mechanic also discovered that the timing belt was incorrectly installed—misaligned by one tooth. In the short run this misalignment was not significant enough to cause a check engine light but over a few years it almost certainly would have.In short, both parts of my $1k+ repair were incorrectly performed. I certainly would not recommend this shop for major repairs.
