MIchael Maiani: Ordered here and I got the snow crab and lobster meal. Both were incredibly small to the point where they may as well have been samples at a taste test. My lobster tail had 4 whole bites of meat in it with a completely empty shell and the crab legs were so thin and small there was barely anything worth picking through. Biggest waste of $ I've ever spent on food.

The food was decent my one disappointment is that the crab legs have gotten way smaller over the years so it's not really quality, but the taste is fine the rest of the food was average in portions, still love to come here especially since they remodeled the new look really brings an upbeat vibe. My drink was made excellent hats off to the bartender! This was an enjoyable experience the waitress was attentive making sure we had everything we needed. When i called i was then told because they had a issue with servers that i had to pay a $300 deposit to come the next day. There were no accommodations made just flat out told no unless i pay $300. I then called back after telling them no i was not paying that large deposit fee to speak to a manager, i was put on hold and then told he left for the day. You just lost out on great money now and later. Smh Get it together.

Deriviann Gardner: This place was okay, fries, coleslaw but the fish was just decent. Unlike my Captain D's in Fort Valley which was great this was sub-par. My elders always told me fish isn't supposed to taste fishy...if you know what I mean. In other words, my catfish I got from this place was not fresh enough for my tastebuds. Other people may find it great for their palates I really did not sad to say. I took a look around and saw some fresh fish, supposedly...also some overly frozen. For instance I wouldn't order crab legs based on what I saw in their freezers, let alone the clams that I'd put in the same overly frozen boat. Most things after they have been frozen forever, loose their flavor. If you do not know good food, you will not know when you're getting the bad

Real Whirl Podcast: Placed a order here through door dash. The wings taste as if they were fried in old grease and the ocean perch was spoiled. I broke open all 10 peace’s of the fish, and it smelled like ammonia. I called to inform the store of what was going on and the person who answered the phone act as if he could care less about what I was telling him. Stay away from this place. If I could give a zero I would.

Iam Keva: This is my first time eating at THIS location on Vandyke & 696... I first ate at The Crab House many years ago at their location on 7 Mile and Evergreen area and that was when the small crab leg dinners were $9.99 when they first opened up. I remember living in Clinton Township on 16 Mile road and Groesbeck and driving all the way to 7 Mile and Evergreen several times a month. The food was good at this location customer service was pretty good. My picture isn't the best picture because the lighting was terrible (sorry about that and my daughter tilted the bag and they rearranged the food and some of sauce spilled out. One daughter loves the eggs and my other daughter wanted a piece of chicken with her fried catfish) but it tasted really delicious. It was fresh and hot. The wait wasn't too long and you can also dine in. The dining area is fairly large and it was clean. I recommend this place and I will be returning.

Tarhonda Stinson: My first visit and I enjoyed the customer service as well as the food. I was taken care of by Charles a.k.a. Chuck who took the time to prepare my meal in spite of the fact that they are closed on Sunday and Mondays. He was there prepping the Chili for the following day when he noticed me pulling on the door. I love Salmon so I ordered a dinner which included a garlic baked potato corn on the cob and a egg. I waited 15-20 minutes max and it was worth the wait. The Salmon was tender and well seasoned. Everything was good and I can't wait to go back! The reviews had me nervous but I'm glad I had my own experience.

TwinkleTips Nail Care: Server/Service was Terrific!! Ordered the new maple bacon chicken deal and was satisfied until I got to the potatoes. You could tell they were reheated via microwave due to plate steaming hot! But overall good dish. I wanted the crispy dragon shrimp but was told they sold out earlier that morning, so settled for the cheddar bay shrimp… which I Smashed!! Lol they were delicious with the pineapple sauce from the coconut shrimp. Hubby got bacon Mac and cheese but they forgot the bacon so he was comped after returning. Long Island ice tea and strawberry lemonade were on point per usual! I frequently go to this location with little to no bad experience. Few hiccups this round but still will return.
