Karen Messineo: An intimate setting with great instructors, varying types of practice, and a place where you walk in as a stranger and leave as family. I have personally enjoyed the growth and the friendships gained here at Strongheart!! Grateful and Thankful 🙏
Lynne Brinkerhoff: Friendly welcoming place. From the first day you feel included, encouraged. You can choose different yoga classes to fit your workout level. Love it.

All of the teachers are so nice & helpful during class, it really makes your practice get better each time. I love the variety of classes available, too. They also have great deals for new students.100% recommend.

safa sa: The best !!! amazing people
Nancy McPhillips: I have been going for a little over two years. There is a range of classes from gentle basic yoga up to very challenging classes. Plus some special classes in mediation or on different poses or styles of yoga. I enjoy going. I like the different teachers who have different styles and all are very helpful.
Josie Young: I was my privileged to study for my RYT-200 in 2016 at StrongHeart Yoga. My teacher training experience at Strong Heart Yoga was amazing. Pattie the owner and instructor of the studio, made a positive difference in my life and practice. Her knowledge, warmth and passion about yoga inspired me not only to learn, but to find my voice as a person and as a yoga teacher. Thank you Pattie for seeing me as a unique individual and helping me achieve my goal to earn my RYT 200. You are one of the BEST! Thank you.“The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.” – William Arthur Ward
Kelly: I'm so happy I found this amazing yoga studio! I've tried a variety of classes and have loved them all so far. All of the instructors are wonderful too.
shelby knoll: Great place to practice yoga! Especially for a beginner I love every class I go to and feel very comfortable. Every teacher helps bring you to the place you need to be. It's an amazing atmosphere with a beautiful space. If you want your body and mind to be refreshed I would recommend going here! Plus great prices(:

Thrive Hot Yoga: what do users think?
Amber MC: I love thrive. Each class is beginner friendly and everyone's so friendly! I always look forward to my next class!
R J: This was my second time doing the bikram style yoga since covid and omG have I missed it! Shannon’s class on Christmas Day made it the best Christmas in all my years! She’s wonderful and her energy is so beautiful! I’ve only had one other instructor who was also great just can’t remember her name at the moment but you always feel better than coming in! This studio is clean and everyone is so friendly! Love the vibes!
Chris M: Sheila is the best instructor! Always a great workout @ her hot pilates class!
L LH: This place gave me a lot of breathing room after what I call the winter of my life…🏳️‍🌈🦋
Phillip A. Johnson: Responsive to student needsTeacher was nice
A Ze: Wonderful studio with great selection of classes. I travel extensively and finding a hot yoga studio is my equivalent of finding a church, temple, synagogue, etc. It's a place of retreat, silence, release, and deep meditation. Unfortunately this studio doesn't allow for that ... there's a distinct sense that "regulars" attend, resulting in laughter, chatter, and other disruptive pre-class practices, ignorant of those who are there for an escape from just that. Most studios I visit post reminders for yogis entering the silent room, that would be helpful at Thrive. The vibe of it being a private club of regulars is disheartening.
Lynn Crawford: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityMy favorite yoga studio ever. The space and instructors are exceptional--in fact the entire community (owners, teachers, students) are too! Beautiful Yoga/Beautiful People.
Karmen Eastwood: Nice, clean establishment. Friendly, funny and charming instructors. The cancelation policy does not sit well with me.30 days to stop charging your account from when your request a cancellation means they get a month of my mula and I get nothing.I am canceling because the hours offered don’t match with my work schedule. So I am now paying for a month of Hot yoga and not able to attend a single class.
Jim Santangelo: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Nneka Lewis: Great,
Martina VanHuysse: Thrive in Troy is my absolute favorite yoga studio! The owner is very personable and kind. All the teachers are amazing and know how to push your yoga practice to be the best that it can be on a physical and spiritual level.
J L: Great and friendly staff. They are patient with beginners and don't expect you to truly have a routine down until maybe your 5th session for a particular class. Even then, they are completely helpful and just give them a heads up if you need more attention during the class. Especially if you have prior injuries or other ailments. Love this place :)
Gayle Zech: Excellent staff and workout, wish I could be more motivated so that's my goal for 2019. 3 times a week.
Sarah Atkinson: Love it here so much! Such a great place. Knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff. Wonderful community of people who love yoga.
Kristin Soreide: very friendly staff!
Frank Lombardo: Great place to practice.
Randall Hicks: This place is the best !Bikram Troy offers a clean, comfortable, friendly environment to practice. The facility is terrific, well organized and well equipped for your Bikram needs. The staff members are ( I could write a book on how great they are ) friendly, informative and very supportive. When you communicate w the staff here, you easily can recognize the fact that they LOVE what they do, which speaks volumes for Bikram yoga, but also is very reassuring to the student. Great work people ! Kudos to management for having an eye for great talent.I've visited other Bikram facilities and Troy is hands down the best. I don't typically leave reviews but I was compelled to write this after months of consistent, undeniable success and great results, both physically and mentally. Thanks !
Adrian Kwitkowsky: Today was my first class, and it was quite wonderful. The facilities are neat and clean, the staff knowledgeable and very friendly. I'll most certainly return!
Marc Gomez: Really a great studio. They keep it hot, clean and pure Bikram.

Hot Yoga Grosse Pointe: what do users think?
Coco Aquino: Hot Yoga Grosse Pointe has been deeply healing for me after having a C-section and feeling disconnected from my core. It is lead in a way that’s gentle yet intense enough to create change in the body and the energy release I feel after leaving is tremendous. The experienced instructors make all levels of students feel comfortable and more advanced students also able to take their practice to their edge. I’ve been practicing yoga for 20 years now and I always find that hot yoga balances out my energy and grounds me more than other types of yoga. If you’re considering trying hot yoga with Mary Ella or one of her other amazing instructors I would not hesitate. The community is friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful with crystals and magical healing messages cheering your soul on in your yoga journey. Intelligent precautions are taken to prevent covid and the environment is clean and the heat feels amazing. I’ve been to Hot Yoga studio’s around the country and this is by far the best one I’ve ever walked into I love hot Yoga and Grosse Pointe!
Kyla Morris: This evening was my first time doing hot yoga, I didn't know what to expect at first, but as soon as I walked in I felt comfortable. The instructor was so nice, welcoming, and super patient with me. She explained the whole process, even during our yoga session she redirected me when needed, encouraged me when I was doing the correct poses. Even though I couldn't get all the poses correctly I think I did pretty good for my first session. Of course it's hot in the room but the heat wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, I was so focused on doing the poses correctly the heat didn't bother me at all, but I did sweat a lot which was good. . Even the other people in the class was so nice, encouraged me, and also gave me pointers. It was a great first experience and i will be back.I left out feeling amazing. Thank you for a great first experience.
Carol Brennan: I attended my first class here in 2002 and it changed my life. I drifted into other schools of practice but came back to Hot Yoga Grosse Pointe in 2018 and AGAIN it was a pivotal moment physically and mentally. Mary Ella runs an amazing studio—sparklingly clean and cozy—and she and the other teachers are energetic, empathetic, and inspirational. If you’re going to be addicted to one thing in life, this is the one that will result in optimum physical health and mental clarity!
Ruthie Jay: I began attending classes at Hot Yoga GP to supplement and support my other fitness hobbies. After 5 or 10 classes, I started to notice how much the 26/2 practice in the studio was amping me up in other parts of my life; helping me show up to everything with more clarity, focus, and self confidence.I attribute that change to the gains i have made in class. Additionally, the lines of my physique have vastly improved, giving me a more fit appearance, which I wasn't expecting from standing in one spot! Incredible sequence of poses, beautiful studio, trauma- conscious instructors who make the most challenging postures feel safe. Love this place
Natalie Ammoun: One of my favorite yoga studios in Grosse pointe. Highly recommended!!
Melanie Lovelace: I can’t do yoga unless the room is heated. Whether a beginner or experienced this is the best place to go to practice traditional yoga and grow your physical and mental strength.

Midtown Yoga Wellness Center: what do users think?
Christopher Chapman: Great studio. Only thing I'd say is staff should consider posting signs for people not to wear perfume.... Bikrim rooms are not a good place to show off your Channel
Nicole Tischler: Great classes and teachers. The interior space is conducive to yoga practice and is very well designed.
Anquinette Mosley: This past Sunday (07/17/2022) was my first experience with yoga and to top that HOT YOGA🔥🔥🔥🔥 But I only have great things to say about my experience. My instructor (Evelena) was very personable and easy going which made me feel very comfortable. The veteran participants were also welcoming. The ambience was serene and peaceful. And the decor was tropical with “Zen vibes”. Very clean pristine atmosphere. I was delightfully pleased and plan to make Hot Yoga a part of my regimen. It was indeed challenging but the end result was quite worth the 90 minutes 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽Had a very restful night😴😴😴 and wonderful energy filled day thus far.
lilah kole: I started doing Bikram over a year ago. By far the BEST yoga experience I have ever had, with all of the instructors being incredible.

Mika Carter: I really needed this... very hot and humid 90 minutes intense yoga. Thank you so much💝💝💝
iog supply: One of the few places both brave and genuine enough to still offer this buisness model to the community. Cant wait till i can afford to start my own hot yoga model downriver
Daniel Edwards: Terrific studio and teachers, very welcoming!
Super Hero: Great yoga studio, top shelf instructor
Derek: A great place for mind and body wellness!
Stephene Martin: I have always had a great experience here.
Angie Fernandez: I love this studio! They offer so many different types of classes. I personally love the Pilates and HIIT classes. The instructors are so nice and the studio is always clean!
The Talbot Team Matthew Talbot Realtor: It has been a pleasure attending this studio. As a beginner the environment was fantastic to learn and felt very judgement free. My girlfriend and other friends are much more advanced in their practices and love the traditional Bikram classes and the other classes the studio has to offer. If you are a newbie or practiced yogi, this is a great place to go!
Warner Desilets: Loved my first class here and the instructor was great!
katy riley: ‘The cure for anything is salt water - sweat, tears or the sea.’ -Isak DinesonAmen !
Janice Metzger: Wanting to delve deeper into yoga and find a place I could practice outside of my home, I made a spreadsheet of local [to me] yoga studios. Bikram Yoga Midtown scored high on my list of 5 criteria. The location has free parking available, is centrally located to my work and home, showers on site, a diverse crowd, and reduced prices for students. Additionally, they have classes early in the morning and classes late into the evening. The space is beautiful, and [I felt] beautifully maintained. If you have any mobility concerns there are stairs to get up to the office space and stairs to get into the yoga space. Be prepared to remove your shoes in the entry way. Also, there isn't a wooden floor in the practice space -- it's a different, softer material. I found the cushion provided by this softer material was easier on my knees and feet. The crowd was diverse in gender, race, and age. I was the chunky lady, and I received no eye rolls and no sneers. No one was unkind to me in the locker room. I didn't feel anyone watched me while I was practicing, except the instructor who provided me with a correction to form. In fact, I felt a little relieved to see other students taking breaks on their mat -- people here really seem to know their bodies, they know their own limits, and there was no external judgement in what a body could and couldn't do in any given session. This was reinforced by the instructor. The instructor greeted me warmly in the office area and checked back in with me on my way out from the class. During class she offered a modification to one of the poses when I was struggling. I liked her, and would like to take a different, less intense class, with her.Now the reasons for 4 stars rather than 5 :1. Overall, the Bikram 90 is not really welcoming for beginners. The instructor checks in with students, but does not practice "with you". I found myself watching other students to ensure I was entering and holding poses correctly. Also, the instruction, while positive and motivating, was quite fast and detailed. I didn't feel I could keep up with the speed of the instructions and was confused at times. I was reluctant to ask any questions because I was nervous I would be interrupting the instructor and thus interrupting the class for my peers.2. Additionally, I like when there is some space for silence while holding poses or the rate is a bit slower/soothing, because it allows me to focus on my own body and movements rather than splitting my attention. The rate of instruction I experienced was fast and detailed. Mentally, I was in a good place today, but if I was having a stressed day and was mentally drained, I could see becoming easily overwhelmed3. Bikram really adheres to the "Bikram" brand of yoga. It felt a little more rigid than typical yoga studios who will offer several modifications, or are perhaps a little looser with hand placement and body position. If you are a type of person who wants to learn "Bikram" this place will teach you that brand. If you're someone who is a bit more eclectic in your practice, you'll certainly be welcomed, but you might be questioned or recorrected back to the "Bikram" way. I'm more the latter than the former.4. Like with most yoga studios, this place has a few nickel and dime stuff -- most notably, they will charge you $2 to use their towels to shower. For the price of the class, ($15 for students) I figured this would be included, but it's not. However, these kinds of charges aren't uncommon within the Detroit Metro yoga studios.Overall, I probably will not make Bikram Midtown my yoga "home" per se, but I'd recommend it to friends who are a little more serious in their practice or are looking to "step up their yoga game". I also might drop in for a different class and a different instructor, just to see.To Bikram Yoga staff, instructors, and community -- ya'll were great! Thank you!
Mea Ebenbichler: Great space true to Bikram
