Sherry Day: Went a few weeks ago and the country fried chicken was amazing. Went for it again last week and both orders were so overcooked it was stringy. The waitress said they were out of grits like "oh well". Never came to ask how everything was. She seemed like in a hurry to get to her own meal. Not fair to spend money on food that's not consistent

Gilbert Grape: This place was okay Definitely won't be rushing back exactly. The corned beef was actually pretty damn gross and there was some nasty meat pieces in there I'm not even sure what it was but there's a photo. The corned beef has no flavor I am used to It tasted smoked I guess you could say, I only had a taste though and the person I was with did not like it either. The wing dings were good and service was ok.

I have waitressed 30 years of my life, and every time someone orders breakfast, every waitress except here goes through the motions and asks the questions accordingly. Including letting one know about they "home made burnt corned beef hash" and that they do not have canned.. Fine, i can over look one. But ALL of the hashbrows ordered lightly cooked were burned. The most minimum amount of gravy on the Biscuits, not enough to even cover them. Then once I tipped the waitress who took my order, was asked for extra condiments (because were moving and everything is 3 hours north) and after I tipped her 10.00 for 4 breakfasts carry out, she copped the biggest attitude as if making sure we had ketchup was a hassle to her. Let me tell you this.... I spent 60.00 on 4 breakfasts and a fruit cup and even the fruit had some matted wet bread like texture on it as if it was saved off someone elses plate or pue and added to my fruit box. Now, I worked at LIZ'S HE CAFE FOR YEARS and never in a million would they make mistakes like this and if they made one, theyd fix it in a hurry. Also never would any of yhe wonderful staff treat their customers any nasty way after tip was received. Go to Liz's! 13 and Groesbeck!
