Shelby Simmons: I was here yesterday and there was a WONDERFUL cashier here that NEEDS to be recognized! Her name was Karen and she was the sweetest! The moment I walked in the door she greeted me with a kind hello and welcome, same with everyone after me. I looked around for a second and found one thing I was looking for and couldn't find the other so I asked her and she immediately knew where I needed to go and pointed me in the direction. At checkout she was again so nice and got me in and out pretty quickly. We need people like her in management positions to help train new employees in customer service! She embodies the customer service experience♡ Dunhams should instill a customer survey so their employees can get recognition directly to them!

Michigan MLG bedey: Worst store i have ever been to will never shop here again cashier was rude from the second I walked up to cash out called before I came to the store to ask if I could exchange a pair or pants that were a gift without a receipt was told I could get there and was told rudely I can't even do an even exchange with the pants and was cussed at so will never shop here again will take my hard earn money else where somewhere I am not told one thing on the phone drive all the way there and told a different thing and treated so rudely!! Can't believe employees talk to customers so rude and customers are treated so wrong and like I am a bother if u don't want to be a cashier and do the job then find a different job if all ur gonna do is be rude

I’m a new camper and I walked out there more broke than when I walked in but listen…not only did REI take all my money but I walked out of there with every single piece of equipment I needed and so much knowledge and comfort in this new adventure. Todd is the MAN!! He was patient and awesome working with me! He had me try out the sleeping bags, the pads, explaining options and didn’t mind while I asked question after question. I don’t care what anyone says, REI is my go-to!

John Dissimo: Barbara needs to wash her hands. Yes Barbara, you sell outdoor gear but you need to use both soap+water after using the restroom because it’s available to you in this bathroom (this is Troy, not a campground in the upper peninsula), it is a typical Michigan winter and flu/cold season, and DUH you are still a customer representative for REI. Disgusting.

Dominic Carino: Snow was sticking to my cross country skis, so I went into the Troy REI looking for wax. I haven't had a stick of snow since using the wax, that the incredibly helpful employees recommended for me to use. Thanks a ton! My cross country experience just got WAY better!

The staff is the most helpful and honest, it truly makes you feel great as a member and customer to know they want to find you the best equipment for what you are personally seeking. Kyle was the representative in the back that was immensely knowledgeable and extremely helpful, Alexander was our representative in the front who cashed us out and was extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Love how their member garage sale location is. We are very pleased and highly recommend this location.

Bobbi: In addition to having superior equipment, this particular location has quality customer service as well. 10/15/22 I made a purchase and didn’t notice until I was already home that I was charged incorrectly. I called the store to explain what happened, hoping I didn’t have to drive the hour back. Jessica Bertollini very promptly handled my issue, requiring her to go above and beyond any standard protocol. The customer service I received from her that day (and the day after) was outstanding, and I’m going to do my best to give my business to the Troy location solely from this experience. Thank you again so much Jessica! Just incredible.

On my way out, manager-looking employees walked right past me without even making eye contact. I’ll happily spend a little more in exchange for some service… any service

jon: Sales staff acts like they don’t have time to help you, and have an attitude if you ask for help. I’ve been ignored while patiently waiting at an empty gun counter more than a few times. Spend your money elsewhere as they really don’t seem to care about customer service

Dan Myers: I placed a preorder for a gun that was supposed to be available mid March. Now when I call to check on the order they said it was cancelled. I didn't cancel it.....so call customer service and they said oh yea WE cancelled it because we didn't have any more. I said I still want it and am willing to wait but they said now I would have to pay the regular price. What a joke this place is. Guess my guns will be purchased at Bass Pro and Cabelas from now on.
