Mammagiggio: Great trainers and staff. They are patient with dogs who may prefer to have only individual play. Great groomer who can handle dogs who may not appreciate a spa day. Love their social media photos of the dogs during play time and on seasonal party days!

Carolina DePaula: They were very unprofessional. I planned everything well in advance. Came in first to do all the paperwork and scheduled a trial daycare day to make sure my dog would do well there. I was told she did but you’re not allowed to see the area where the dogs stay. I was told both times I was there by each of the owners that a reservation was not needed and I could just drop in. When the day finally came that I needed to drop my dog off before work, I got there and was told they were sold out! I was left completely helpless. I was on my way to work and my day was completely derailed. The owner just said she didn’t have the kennels and moved in to the next customer, never apologized, never explained why I was given the wrong information. Had I known, I would’ve simply made an appointment since I did everything well in advance preparing for that day. I also emailed them and never heard back from them at all. I had purchased a 5-day package and of course I can’t get a refund even though I never used any of the days. The front of the business is also dirty and falling apart. I recommend All American Pet Resorts Lakeshore instead, it’s also nearby, they are clean, professional and treat not just the dogs but also their owners with respect. UPDATE: I left the same review on their Facebook page and got blocked from their page so I’m not sure if my review even shows up on there anymore. I would beware of this business. If this is how they treat their people, I don’t trust them with my dog.

Lori Melvin: I can't say enough good things about Animal House. Getting a puppy during a pandemic was tough and we struggled to get him socialized. Everyone at Animal House was so helpful and patient with us and once we put Parker in training, he came out a totally different dog. The staff is so kind to us and our furbabies.

Owner/Trainer very aggressive in approach and was unable to stay calm and be patient upon first meeting of our dog. We were treated very rudely and dismissed in the parking lot as Animal House did not listen to our instructions on first introduction and created a Stressful situation for our pet and ourselves. They claim to be Trainers, but by the actions displayed on our visit I would not agree or advise taking your Pet to Animal House Pet services.

But as she's gotten older, we've been feeling like her previous kennel was not a good fit anymore. I had heard great things about Pawz Inn and we decided to give it a try for an upcoming trip. The staff was so attentive to my dog just in the 10 minutes we were there. I had informed them over the phone about her anxiety and nervousness and they did everything they could to make sure she thrived in that short amount of time. My dog came out of the facility happy and tail wagging. At our previous facility, she would come running out like she couldn't wait to get out of there.I will update my review after our stay, but so far I am very impressed with the staff and this facility! And I hardly ever leave reviews!

Cheyne Jarnol: We've been taking our pup for day care once a week for a few months now and absolutely love it. When we took him to another place he was constantly getting humped because he's a submissive male, that's not been the case here. They do an evaluation on your dog for the first visit, which I really appreciate. We've also used the washing service with the day care a couple times and he's so soft and clean when we pick him up!!

I don't want to blame just Pawz Inn but the people there should Not bring in a Highly Contagious.and/or Sick Dog bc All of US Owners and the Pets Suffer horribly. Nor did I have the Thousan Dollars it Cost to treat her not to mention having to stay home 24/7 bc she can't be left alone. The sleepless nights and stressful days don't help either. She's going on 5 days now and has barely.prpgressed and she's only 4 yrs old. Watch out for the Pups & the Elders. This Disease is Much more Serious than Google states. Especially if they have a fever (which.mine did). Ty for reading. P.S. it would've been nice for.Pawz to have checked on her seeing as I Notified them Immediately.

Every time he comes home from boarding he is so happy but exhausted from all of the fun. We moved farther away and still make the drive to board our dog there.

Camp bowwow would cram every size dog in one room and walk away. Watching the cameras while my dog was there, I realized my dog was in danger from all the fights I saw happening and found Pet Suite Retreat that same day.From day 1, I could tell Molly loved the staff and the staff loved her. She was not afraid to go to daycare and she was always happy when I came to pick her up. I love the amount of space the dogs can play in as well, nobody else has quite as much outdoor space to let the dogs run.Awesome staff, awesome prices, big and clean facility that allows the dogs to live their best lives. I am glad I found this place!

Anna Baird: My dog Coco has boarded here twice. Each time, it seems like she has done great and been very well taken care of. This time when she came home she was slightly dirty in spots and that made me happy because it meant she had plenty of opportunity to be outside and play! The staff were extremely caring and friendly when we dropped her off and picked her up. They seem to truly know each dog personally and put lots of effort into making every dogs stay a success. Now I was nervous because they were placed in the socializing room with other cats and my cats aren't the social type, especially Milo (One of my cats)who cant stand even new people being around him. But once I left and came back, I was surprised because.... They loved it there. They were around all the other cats they were originally afraid of, they were kind to the little kittens in there, and they were jumping all over the place. Before we had to pull them out the cage, Today we had to push them in to bring them home. 100% recommend this place

Brandon K: Pet Suite Retreat is awesome! Been taking my dog there for years and he loves it. When we first got him, we took him to Camp Bow Wow and they pack the dogs in like sardines. We found out quickly that our dog is not as compatible with some other dogs and they said they'd kick him out if he didn't change. Pet Suite Retreat had absolutely no problem with our dog in the 5 years we've been taking him. They treat the dogs on an individualized level, making sure dogs are compatible when setting them in the play area. 10x better than Camp Bow Wow for sure.The staff is very accommodating. They knew his name very quickly and recognize myself or my wife when we come to pick him up. Before the pandemic, we took our dog there 3 to 4 times per week to get out all that energy. Since the pandemic and working from home, we try to bring him at least once a week. This place is a life saver and deserves to stay in business.We bring our dog in for boarding and often without scheduling ahead of time. Again, very accommodating. Holidays are usually busy for boarding though, so we tend to plan ahead by letting them know.Oh and not sure they do this for everyone, but to show their appreciation for us bringing our dog in all year, they gave us a nice Christmas gift calendar of all the fun our dog had over the past year. I don't think we got one for this year, but at least 3 years prior we did. But so awesome none the less!

Spencer Kovar: My wife and I went on vacation and while we were away our dogs got in a fight. Our dogs are both rescues and we realize that the change in the environment was a lot of stress on them. Everyone at Troy Pet Suite Retreat were amazing! They kept us up to date how our dogs were doing and made sure none of the abrasions got infected. Couldn't ask for better care. Ana Victoria Foley: When I boarded my beagle, I dropped her off with her bed and toys to keep her comfortable. My beagle is 9 and has never peed or pooped inside the house, much less her own bed. She is potty trained and will go every time she is let out. When I picked her up from her boarding her poor bed was soaked in pee, I had to throw it out and instantly buy her a new one there was no way I was going to be able to wash it and make it decent. This just tells me how poorly they took care of her. I will never be letting her stay in this place again. Terrible service, I'd give 0 stars if I could

Furious Styles: Still one of the cleanest and most organized pet boarding places in the state. I'm able to see my pup on CCTV during the day. The staff are very friendly and communicate well with both their clients and one another. Definitely more expensive than places like PetSmart and the other. Hains. But you get what you pay for, and the added services are worth it.

Once while out of town they let my dog stay in the apartment / condo they have attached in their building. He got to play with her daughter’s dog (also a pomsky) and spent the whole day with her. Lucy Melchi: We took our puppy here for a meet and greet / evaluation. The staff were very attentive to our puppies' behaviors. Because we gave a large breed puppy she was too large to play in the puppy group that day but too small for the large dog group so they made a play group specifically for her size and play level. The facility is beautiful and kept very clean and the daycare pricing is very reasonable for the area. We look forward to taking our puppy there for daycare and boarding.

We love all the trainers and this facility exceeds our expectations daily. Moose is always well cared for and if I have questions about his behavior, it doesn't matter who I ask, they know EXACTLY how the day went. If anyone here is trying to figure out the best place to bring their dog based on reviews and see's the couple of bad one's, I will address my own experiences.I brought a "pupcake" in for Moose and his dog friends. I made it from scratch but the trainers took the time to call each dog owner prior to distributing the treat to ensure there were no allergies. It is obvious that the number 1 priority of the staff is the well-being of their four legged guests.There are a ton of different breeds with different personalities that attend daycare here. What I have seen is a trainer using their best judgment if a dog was getting overly excited, to act quickly and CONFIDENTLY to not let the situation escalate as some dogs may not receive an overly excited/anxious dog. You can sit behind your computer all you want and watch the soundless feed of your dogs playing, but unless you're inside that playroom, its hard to pass judgement on how a trainer chose to handle the dog. I'm not saying poor handlers don't exist, but I can say with certainty that K9 Club would not tolerate that from any of their employees.You guys are amazing. Thank you for easing my anxiety and for loving Moose the way you do!

kelly dolanski: This place claims to be experts at socializing dogs and working with their psychological behaviors….Yet, a dog was turned down because he was scared and very reluctant to get into the kennel for the staff. However, the staff said once he was in the kennel, he was totally fine……but then the response is “it’s not going to work out because he won’t get into the kennel and they’re afraid that he may bite”(yet showed no signs of aggression)” Yet, I wonder, do they turn every dog away that hesitates even a second to get into the kennel? I’m a dog owner of three and I volunteer at a rescue, so this must mean that tons of dogs are turned down at this place. I do not know many dogs, if any, who like or enjoy being locked in a kennel or who do not show some hesitation, just my opinion. Just disappointing that they told me I would not be screwed over, and yet here I am back to square one.

When I was asked, how old and the breed.. the lady said we “aren’t taking any more daycare dogs” I’ve not once heard that from any facility.. I wanted to try this one out because my boyfriend works right in that area. One thing that threw me off, when I told her my dogs breed and he was a male.. she asked me twice, male or female.. I said male husky. & she said I take it you wanted to bring him while she heals the next few months? I said yes, maybe once a week if EVEN.Bad vibes right there.
