cliff montgomery: Very tasty dim sum. Great variety. I enjoy the egg custard filled bun and the rice wrapped in lotus leaves. Quick service.Be sure to ask for chrysanthemum tea with lumps of rock candy sugar. It’s a part of what makes dim sum an authentic special treat.I prefer dim sum brunch on the weekends. You’ll find their biggest selection. And they use serving carts, which I like, because I can look and choose the things I prefer.The waitresses were all very nice. If you’re uncertain, ask. The ladies know their dishes. Or read up a bit on Wikipedia. Dim sum is a wonderful treat that everyone should try.

JK M: This is the go-to for Dimsum. They are nice and very attentive. The shrimp rolls and chicken feet, *chefs kiss. Also, tip well because I heard they will ask for more/confront you if you don’t. I think they forget you don’t HAVE TO tip.

Had more bread than a prison meat loaf! so I got heavily battered chicken breast, with last week's rice with some soy sauce on it, and a mediocre egg roll. Sharon Winne: Went there to celebrate our twin brothers birthday. Restaurant was preparing for a HUGE party starting in 2 hrs which took up 90% of restaurant. Because of this going on, we felt rushed thru our meal. Egg rolls were room temperature. Food tasted decent. I accidently spilled my glass of water all over myself when I turned the lazy Susan center table and something on it caught my glass. I asked 2 waitresses for a towel or napkins and I was told to ask someone else, they were too busy setting a table for the party. As soon as we finished our last bite all the dishes were whisked away to empty the table so they could set it up for the party. I understand circumstances were unusual but maybe they should have closed to the public because of the party.

Luckily there's a Rite Aid close by for the immodium. When I arrived the nasty plastic, I mean NASTY!, should have been a strong indicator to turn around and leave. They should add additional "caution tape" so you know this is not the Older class of Asian Chinese food that once was. This is the snotty, rude, " why are you bothering me" class of INFERIOR CHI- KNEE FOOD.How many times does a person have to repeat the order to make sure it's correct?3, 4 times? In my job people expect perfection and I actually try to deliver this. Not everytime do I succeed, but I do thank the customer and attempt to LISTEN SO I CAN AT LEAST GET CLOSE TO THEIR EXPECTATIONS! I never act as though my poo doesn't stink because I'm doing my client a favor! This has been lost at this restaurant! Today was our last time ordering from them. We ordered 4 combos and the rice was so dry, only my husband ate it after adding soy sauce. Both my (teenage) kids ordered the sweet and sour chicken and complained that it was dry too. I tried it and it was definitely dry. So disappointing. I would really like to call and let them know. This Is Business: Honestly, the hostess was delightful! A sweet little lady with a very bubbly disposition. With that being said, this was my first time ordering here. The Mongolian Beef was pretty good. The sweet and sour chicken was very bland, definitely the most bland I have ever had in the city. I'm pretty sure the chicken fried rice comes from the Costco frozen food isle (not even joking)....and the eggrolls....Idk if they used old ingredients or resold old eggrolls or what, but they definitely tasted tainted or something...like it was cooked in a super dirty pot or something. It looked all dirty grayish (nothing like I've ever seen before in an eggroll) on the inside and tasted like a dirty rag. Maybe that's just how they do it. Idk. I was overall not satisfied.

Necy Westervelt: We used to get good food here often. The last year the food has not been so good. Today was the last time. Our crab rangoon was burnt. Our dinner was pretty flavorless and sparc of seafood and lots of mushy vegies.

Belle B: Wow I am surprised how good this place was. I took a chance and ordered on uber eats. Got priority delivery from uber eats cuz I want my food to me asap and hot. Upon delivery, food was hot. Surprisingly food was very good! I ordered the brocoli beef combo, general tso chicken combo and some brown gravy.The meat was perfect! Everything I would want in americanized greasy Chinese food. The beef was perfect, nice and tender, unlike some other places where they have tough beef. Gravy was great, good consistency, did not thicken too much after left out like other places. Best general chicken yet-purely on tenderness. A lot of places overcook theirs, this one was perfect, meat was juicy. I'd consider myself a Chinese take out enthusiast and have tried differently places all over the area.I used to work in a Chinese restaurant as well for a few years, where I considered their takeout the best. But the brocoli beef and general chicken I had at Takee Outee, dare I say, surpassed it. If you're looking for authentic, go elsewhere. This is the tender, saucy americanized chinese takeout you want on a night in.

This “food” will either k!ll you, or cause you to vomit, have diarrhea, and excruciating abdominal pain! This is garbage “food” I ordered over 24hrs ago & im still in pain, on the toilet! I wasn’t going to eat this garbage, but I took a chance, a high one. Don’t put yourself through the vomiting, diarrhea, & aches!

Amelia Graham: My first time visiting this restaurant. I didn't feel like driving on Westside to Chinese restaurant I frequent. I bought large Wonton soup and 2 egg rolls. The soup was a little to greasy. The soup broth tasted like cooked grease. The egg roll was not fresh and restaurant was dirty in the back buckets everywhere unorganized 🤔🤔😳.I Won't return. I will go back to Chinese restaurant I frequent on Westside/livernois.

D'Andre Hendrix: I paid WAY too much for sesame chicken with beef fried rice ($3 extra) to taste like this.The shrimp in the egg roll was good but this beef fried rice was incredibly bland and the chicken was plentiful but tasted sooo generic. I usually try a place a second time before a review but not when I'm getting charged downtown prices for almost mediocre food.

L S: There was a bug in my food….I called the restaurant to see if they could resolve the issue and I didn’t not get much help. I will not be ordering food from here again.

Lance Lucern: Good food. Some dishes are better than others, but they give you good portions either way. If you call in they are relatively fast. Two or three times they forgot to include parts of my order, but a lot of Chinese cuisine places are doing that now days.They will replace your order, but unlike other places they do not include a complimentary item to make up for your inconvenience. They should at least include an extra egg roll or small order of fried rice or such for example.Overall they are pretty good and the prices aren't bad. They have decent parking and their hours are good too. Owners/staff seem nice.

The food was horrible and not made correctly at all.We won't be ordering here again..Edit: It's not so much that the food wasn't fresh, you entirely messed up the order. Don't try to put this on the Uber driver. That's awfully low of a business to do..
