S A: The best hole in the wall kabob in the WORLD. I know it sounds shocking, but I’ve had kabob in Iran, Turkey, Dubai, Los Angeles, DC… around the world and nothing has topped this place. It has burned my memory and I often make trips to Michigan simply for this place.

Racheal Karas: Absolutely horrible, I miss the old owners already and it's only the second day of these new people taking over. Food was not the same. Everythingggggggg I ordered was gross.
Suzy Renee: New owners now called Kabob Castle Express. The cook went from writing with his pen to the computer and then put his hands on my bread and then in the pickles with no gloves or hand washing. The desk girl went from the register and her cell phone to grab bread to cut up for my bread and garlic and never washed her hands or put gloves on. Didn't eat the sandwich and tossed it because I was so grossed out.

Aimee Thomas: Me and my father tried this restaurant for the 1st time today. We got lunch from here, i got the chicken shawarma he got the lamb plate. The shawarma was okay. The lamb was good while he was eating it but he now is sick and this was the only thing besides a McDonald's coffee he ingested . I wish i could have left a better review and maybe it was just that batch but i will never eat here again.
E D: My heart is so heavy. I use to LOVE this place, the owner and the owner's son. It is now under a different name (Kabob Express) and the chicken sharwma was awful. Chicken is flavorless and dry. The garlic sauce tastes store bought. They are super small. just ugh! I miss Shish Express :-(

We got 4 diff items...chicken shawarma dinner, hummus + bread, grape leaves appetizer & a Fattoush salad. The Fattoush was easily the BEST I've had ever hands down!!!Everything was excellent ! Tasty & big portions & priced MUCH BETTER than many other Middle Eastern places that give you less food. And the owner who was helping me with the menu is sweet as can be. I had not one complaint from anyone. The meats and chicken were seasoned to perfection. The humus was creamy and some of the best I've ever had. Salad dressing was light and very flavorful.
