AlexH Tv: If I could put in negativ stars, I would have!!!I’ve been driving and dealing with mechanical/auto shops for more then 20 years, this place is by far the worst shop I’ve had to deal with, the owner is an a-hole, he doesn’t know how to treat customers… they had me drop off my van and after about 1 week, they called me telling me they don’t wanna deal with it.. I’m about 45 min away… When I picked up my van, the didn’t even have the curtesy to let me park my car in front of their shop for a few hrs… Make sure you have everything settled, and in writing if possible, before you go ahead with any repairs at this shop. I hope no one else hasto go through what I’ve experienced with this shop. If I help one person, it was worth my writing this. Be careful!!!!Service:Transmission

I wanted to bring my transmission in (they didn't even have to remove it) and replace some seals. I would do myself but not having the time since I'm rebuilding the rest of the vehicle myself. I'll find a company that likes money and helping people. Edit - he told me "you can't just replace the seals" which isn't true at all.

Anthony Lanni: The folks at J.B. DLCO took great care of me! After a long drive from NYC to Michigan, the transmission in my SUV was completely shot and would not go in any gear the next morning. I was in a jam, and it was in the middle of the holidays. I called up J.B. DLCO and they were able to squeeze me in. Janet was super helpful and got back to me right away and set up a day for me to tow my car in. Jeff followed up with me frequently and kept me up to date on the status of my transmission replacement, and the ETA for the repair to be complete. I was definitely in good hands with Jeff and his team! Jeff and the folks at J.B. DLCO provided top notch, excellent service and my car is now back in action! So i save $30 not the $100 plus I thought I was going to. It took 3 day's to do back brakes, new lug nuts and replace a coolant line and cost over $1000. This place is a rip off! Sonya Johnson: I took my car in on a Wednesday morning and I did not get a call about the diagnosis until the following Monday .😑The car battery was not holding a charge so I authorized the company to fix it. I brought the car in because my dial would not go into drive. I did not hear from the team again until I went to the shop on Thursday and was told no transmission issue after battery was placed in. Nathaniel Johnson: My car sometime won't start there were times it would be rolling right along and then at the most inconvenient time it would not start. I took to multiple shops and no one could seem to fix the problem, then my friend Jim suggested take my car to Jeff at Multistate transmission they were a life saver. They found out that the linkage was smashed up against the transmission and that it was also rusted out and whenever the car was in park it wasn't reading the sensor but Jeff and the fine people at Multistate transmission took care of me and my car and now I'm up and down the highway again without worrying rather my car is going to start or not. Thanks you Jeff and the fine staff at Multistate transmission you guys rock!!!🙂

Jason Seevers: Ordered it on the Sunday before 2 PM but it didn’t get shipped out till the next day so I’m thinking the 2 PM thing only works throughout the week maybe Saturday I’m not sure not on Sunday, but I still receive the part within two days that made everything better this is my third time ordering from Detroit axle. Everything’s always been positive. I’ll take a discount next time for this good review. Ha ha we wish it worked that way. One thing I suggest check your part information extra good to make sure you’re getting the right part. Before placing your order.

Well they instantly took the money out of my account and gave me a tracking number. I checked the tracking number with FedEx and it said it was supposed to arrive that night. Well I checked again after it was not delivered to my house and it showed that only a label was printed. So I called and of course waited on hold for about 15 minutes wasting more of my time and was told it would even be ready for “approximately” two weeks. Why would you not have a disclaimer on your website notifying customers parts on not in stock. Will never order from this company again.

Jerdon Kiesman: Love the ability to get everything in one spot- however- Over the last few years so much has gone out of stock here that can easily be found on any other website including places like rock auto. It feels like they’re just giving up on the older rabbit models. Also, I’m no longer able to choose shipping options online aside from the slower ones. Have to call them to get other options which is sometimes a hassle. Sometimes get discouraged that parts here are way more than identical parts elsewhere but as I said it is great to have the convenience of most things being all in one site.

Zach Wallace: Bought a rebuilt Vanagon engine and paid to ship it all the way to Alaska (over $1500) and had it professionally installed. Installing shop who specializes in German cars/Vanagons said that the engine didn't look rebuilt and didn't think it would last. They identified multiple compromised and pitted/rusted parts in the engine. When we notified Parts Place we were still within warranty and expressed our concerns and the shops concerns that the engine would last. They didn't offer any resolution despite us sending photos of obviously corroded parts. Needless to say the engine lost compression and needs to be completely replaced after only a few thousand miles. We reached back out to Part Place Inc. when the engine died and provided all written documentation from the shop, previous emails regarding our concerns etc. and they offered no resolution again. We spent almost 8k in purchasing the engine, shipping, and install with needing another new engine after minimal use. Don't wast your money.

Their rebuilders had to be contacted directly to fix the problem after a week.I had to pay for taking the head off, and reinstall and shipping. So much for their warranty.Now I'm sitting in New Mexico with less than 6000 miles on "rebuilt" engine with crankshaft bearings toast! Don't buy any rebuilt engines from Parts Place Inc they're butchers!😠

Charles Parsons: Ordered parts on the 15th of May, weren't shipped until the 27th. Didn't get them until the 10th of June. I haven't even checked to see if the parts fit yet, but the shipping situation alone is ludicrous. I understand a long shipping time but it shouldn't take 2 weeks to box it up and take it to the post office.

L.M. T.M: I highly recommend this auto shop to anyone!! I've been searching for a good place to take my personal cars without getting cheated and overpriced, but the manager Bill at this shop is well versed in what he does and treats everyone with respect. The mechanics under the manager have nothing but great things to say, and they do their job well! VERY EFFICIENT PLACE. I'm about to see if I can bring all of my business vehicles to get serviced next. Great place for anyone and any vehicle, they can do it all!!

Moe Taylor: Use to be a good place up until now. They were always pretty fair, honest and reasonable. New African American guy has taken over the counter and has a bad attitude. Poorly ran. Never calls with updates and they never complete work on time. I wouldn't trust them with more than minor routine stuff like brakes and rotors or similar basic jobs

Chris DiPaola: $65 check fee turned into $250 just to tell me they are “pretty sure my catalytic converter’s are clogged, not sure which one, but almost positive it’s the converter” Well the converters were in fact the problem. I had to replace all 4, would have been nice and saved me $200 if I knew which one was bad
Susan Sanderson: Shysters! Last time they charged us $300 for diagnostics they didn't do! And before that didn't fix the head gasket which is now leaking again. Nick the owner only knows how to RIP his customers off which is why their business is hurting. Don't waste your time or money.

Keepit Nmotion: So it took them a 3rd time of back and forwards to the shop in 2 1/2 weeks time for them to finally fix my cars engine light coming on and off while driving. Jim at the service desk did the best he could in passing on the issue about my car engine light. The 3rd time returning to the Chrysler service shop. I had to request to speak to a supervisor or management of the service department. I spoke with Tim and he explained everything to me and other things he would do to fix the problem he also offered me a loner car for free until they fixed my car. It took 3 visits to fix my car but I thank Jim and Tim and the shuttle drivers for getting me back and forward to the shop. Tim also put more gas in the car at more then half and car was cleaned in the inside. So the problem ended up being a camshaft sensor gone bad. Hopefully the problem is completely fixed now. MY BABY IS HOME 🚗I would have given them a 5 🌟 had the problem been fixed the 1st visit.

RTSGuy 28: Expensive, bad staff, does not care about your personal interests. Brought a 1995 Oldsmobile silhouette to their shop, told me what was wrong, couldn't help me. They recommended that I junk the car. Got it fixed somewhere else. Wouldn't recommend this place because they do not have your best interest in mind, they're just trying to make a dollar off you and could care less.

Quinn Goist: Chris' transmission was one of the worst experiences I've encountered while going to a mechanic shop. Not only did they dent my car, they proceeded to flick my money onto the floor while I was attempting to pay half in cash half on card all because chris the owner would not let me finish a full sentence. The audacity this grown man had to act like a little kid is astounding. I would never recommend someone to go here and I will not be bringing my business back. He doesn't stand behind his "work" and having the transmission replaced on the same vehicle shows the kind of work this company does!! Jason Kandt: Chris was supposed to rebuild my transmission on my 2008 Ford F150. He rebuilt it and less than a year later, it was not shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. So I took it back and he fixed it again. When I got the truck back, it was leaking transmission fluid. I looked underneath and one of the transmission pan screws was completely stripped out. Why would he give me the truck back like that? I took it back again and he fixed that. And two weeks later, again, when I shift into drive it is hesitating for three or four seconds before shifting into first gear. But now my one-year warranty is up and he refuses to fix it. He rebuilt the transmission why am I even having problems with it?????Very very poor service I would not recommend him to absolutely nobody, not my worst enemy. Terrible serviceService:Transmission

Alexander John: Me and my family have known Chris since I can remember! I remember my brother had a suburban dealer quoted him over $7,000 said it needed a transmission and a bunch of other things. Brought it to Chris's and he rebuilt the transfer case and he drove that Suburban for 15 years and doing a lot of heavy towing and never had any issues. If you want great prices, 12/10 work Chris is badass!
ChristiesSRT8: This shop is great, as is the owner. It’s my 2nd time going there (should have just gone back to them after I went the first time, instead of going to a dealership). Anyway, went to a dealership and was told I needed a whole new transfer case. Chris ended up being able to rebuild it for about half the price of what the dealership would have charged for a new one.
