Steve Polykernopolis: Two weekends back to back y'all knew them storms was coming it's now been 12 hours since the power went out and y'all still don't have a restoration time or even an estimate We pay hundreds of thousands of dollars every month for electric as customers and you will leave us in the dark and offer us a $25 credit on our bill!!???!!!!! Nah this ain't right it's time for a class action lawsuit against these people they have lost respect for their customers that keep them alive. Their call center is in the Commonwealth building in Jackson Michigan also.

James Brown: Power outages have become the norm in Southfield, MI the last couple years. They take their sweet time getting it back on and there is no accountability from anyone. Everytime it rains I know the power will be out momentarily. They need to fix the infrastructure so this does not happen EVERYTIME it rains or is windy. They deserve 0 stars.

Lita G: Fraudulent Whole home protection plan I think a lawyer should definitely get involved. So dte has been our services for years and we added whole home protection. Per their policy they do not deal with galvanized piping. We did not know there’s one they sent one of their vendors here who cut our pipes and added on PVC pipes. Dte does not want to fix the problem because now the pipe that is getting flooded out no needs to be replaced but they said we have galvanized pipes so they are refusing to fix their own mistake. If the vendor knew that they don’t deal with galvanized pipes they should not have touched my pipes in the first place. Their response to the situation is that they are not responsible or cannot fix it. We were promised a call from the vendors team, which never happened Dte definitely should be reviewed for their whole home protection plan. If things like this have happened to anyone else I am definitely going to be asking an attorney to review. Their vendor was responsible for my piping when he broke their rules. Not only did the vendor come one time they came a total of three times. Dte paid them but when they found out about the situation they fired the vendor to cover their own behind‘s. That makes it very clear that they knew something was wrong and instead Of working quickly to repair the issue they decided not to do anything whatsoever. Now I’ve got water pouring into my basement every time I try to take a bath or shower because dte neglected service with us. This is negligent behavior and if they don’t fix it a liability lawsuit will be filed.
