realbc7: DHSC is a long term community based group that provides youth soccer a space to learn, grow and bond with their peers. These communities are such a positive in the city that we need to spotlight their fantastic contributions. Look into youth soccer as a vessel for your young person to learn about sport, life and friendships. Let’s gooooo!!! ⚽️

ROFC - Royal Oak Football Club: what do users think?
Stephen Watzman: Canceled 2020 season after I paid (understandable!) but did not refund my money. They said it would have to be used for the following year and then nobody there responded to my email asking about this year, so basically this place stole $70 from me. Cool.

National Flag Football - HQ: what do users think?
Hockey Mom 7: A well ran organization for families looking to put their kids in flag football. The coaching is mainly parent /volunteer based but that for us has never been an issue. I appreciate how practices are before games so you get the practice and games done in one day, however this requires a time commitment. My children played for many years and it was always a good experience. The organization does a really good job trying to place friends together via request. The training required for coaches covers everything from skills to concussion awareness. I would recommend National Flag Football to others.
Blaise Knuth: it was so good
Sonny Douglas: This league is simply a money grab, we had several issues as a coach and team that me and the parents reached out to the so call program manager Matt every since week 2 of the season. He never did anything or came to out school to see what was going on. Referees cussing and yelling at kids, parents, coached and staff. Parents called to complain, and nothing was done. This league has no organization or structure. This league allows bullying by other kids and referees. Matt is a terrible manager and this league needs way better customer service for the kids mainly. So much more, just don’t sign your kids up.
Tony Weldy: I have coached kids for multiple seasons. ( volunteered) not paid no discount ( no benefit to me other than enjoying see kids develop into better players) I assembled team had kids sign up & friend request coach request. The Michigan base nffl seperated the kids & coaches because they did not have enough coaches to cover there team. ( They use the coaches to bring team together) then seperate head coach & assistant coach to fill more teams. ( This is a complete Money Grab) I am very disappointed and feel completely taken advantage of. Michigan NFFL flag completely lining there pockets at your exspense.Multiple seasons tournaments in and out of the state of Michigan. ( countless successful seasons) and this is how they work. One star rating is to high.Betrayed CoachShame on you Michigan NFFL
Brad Honeycutt: Be careful if you want your child to play on a team with their friends. They make you agree to a dozen waivers when you sign up. One of them is they will not promise that friend requests are honored. We requested my 2nd grade son play with a friend. Instead, the friend was placed on a team where he knew no one. My son was placed on a different team where he knew no one. Of course there is nothing they can do now after my check has been cashed!Edit 1/19/22: Still ended up being a fun season. The program is well run despite not accommodating friend request.
Sean E.: National Flag Football League is a cash grab, avoid at all cost. I coach for one of the Tots programs in Canton, MI.Pre-season Coaches’ meetings scheduled at 8PM on a Friday 9/10/2021, zoom link doesn't work, no communication went out to anyone in league office, I speak with Ashlee the following Tuesday in the office after numerous calls and email go unreturned, she says the meeting was cancelled and a email went out, no coaches or parents ever received this correspondence. Turns out it was just a video that they were going to play on the zoom link (This could have been emailed to coaches from the beginning, it was sent after we finally connected with Ashlee on the phone and she emailed it out at to coaches)Coaches didn't get access to playbooks until week #2 after calling around to receive guidance on what they were supposed to be coaching. Week #1 we were playing outside the left field fence of a Softball field (Games were being played while we practiced)Our field has been moved twice without notification (Week #2 and #3), both times in the middle of practice. Fields were not updated on the schedule until week #3.Week #3 Picture day was cancelled without notification.Week #4 we are 20 minutes into practice when the groundskeeper comes and tells us "Practice's were cancelled this morning" no communication went out to any of the coaches, multiple teams had to pack up and cancel practice 20 minutes into them. He tells us Ashlee in the office said she sent out email, 4 coaches sitting there and no one received any correspondenceI have left 3-4 voicemails and multiple emails that were not responded to, I am currently running these issues up the chain of command within the organization. It’s become a running joke between coaches that there is no surprise when things go sideways because the National Flag Football League is disorganized and unresponsive. They use volunteers to coach, coaches are given access to playbook online and YouTube clips for guidance (Which is a good thing if these are provided before the season and not 2 weeks into it), but it’s a roll of the dice on who your coach is depending on who volunteers.Save yourself the money and headaches associated with joining this organization.
Chris Boan: Where do I start!! We signed up our kids for flag football and they were put on a team. That team happened to be with all of their friends. We then tell the kids and there super excited. Then, wait for it.. they place them on another team! Unexceptionable , and I can’t get anybody to return mine or my wife’s phone calls. I may think twice to national football and maybe consider Country Day or Oakland Yard.
Ross Friedman: I was an intern and my boss took a lot of time to teach me new things
cindy wasaya: These crooks took our money!!!!! I signed all three of my boys and due to the Covid 19 the season was cancelled. They offered an option to donate the money $430 to the league or take a credit for when they are up and running. My boys age out. I requested a refund and I was emailed back in June 10th that they would infact refund only $300 because they sent out shirts. I was fine with that. It has been 2 months and no refund and my emails are not being answered. I'm sure we are not the only family experiencing this. They are a bunch of crooks. It's hard times now and people should get a refund (partial) especially since it was promised. I am contacting the BBB since they like to steal from hard working families. Do not sign up with this thieves
M M: These crooks took our money for flag football and will not refund our money, even though my child has even had one practice.
Michael Liepshutz: best dang flag football outfit there is!
Jake Wendt: Best flag football leagues in the country.
Carol Plonka: Everyone is the best.
Lori Piwok: My son Caden loves playing flag football. We love him being a part of it too.
