Robert Engler: Good selection of games. The usual ginormous section of Magic and other paper crack. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Always seem to have paper crack tournaments going on when I go in.

Daemon Whitebelle: The lady working was really rude and seemed like she didn't want to do her job or talk to any of the customers. The guy working there was very helpful and interactive though and the players at the tournament were really nice and fun to play with. I had a pretty good experience and despite the one rude worker I had an memorable experience.

Stephen Wee: Went into the store and bought a gift for a birthday party. I look at the receipt and see it shows 29.99 for the set I bought the priced marked on the box says 24.99. I go back into the store to ask them to honor the priced they have marked. The guy I bought them from says ok lets get this taken care of he talks to a lady named Deb she tells me I can return them if I didn't want to pay the 29.99 becuase that's what it is in the system says and someone marked it wrong and there is nothing she will do to honor the price. Being in sales myself the correct thing to do is honor the price you have marked. Really disappointed in the way they handled this I will not return to a store like this being a dad of two 8yr Olds who love Pokémon and such this store has lost my business and I will not recommend it to anyone. And just a heads up to the store Michigan has a law called Michigan scanner law you should train your employees on this law..

Austin Taylor: I spent 15 minutes in the store being reassured by a manager and an associate that the $400 wheel I was purchasing could be returned no questions asked within 30 days as long as it was not broke. I asked if it would be refunded back to my card or if I had to exchange. They said it would be refunded. I went to return it after one time use and they said, "sorry, exchanges only. You should have read the bottom of the receipt." Fotunately I talked to a different manager and they were understanding and refunded me still. Thank you!

Fat Tail: Game Reaction is a pretty standard fair video game and video game supply store.Unfortunately, this review is low rated because the selection and prices are lacking, especially considering there are alternatives in the area with far greater selections of genuinely retro and early 2000s games, with better prices, and games and equipment which are new or in the original casing/boxes.I went in to get a new Xbox Series controller, and was given a clearly refurbished and/or repackaged Xbox One controller, the compatibility is not a concern, I simply preferred the now current-gen controller. I was told it was original and the price is nearly $70. No original packaging, no cord, no batteries, and no guarantee this wasn't simply an after market product brought to the store and resold as a current gen device. This demonstrated a bit of a lack of knowledge and seemed disingenuous. The prices are too high, even for the sake of this stores remaining competitive, I am surprised they aren't better.You may be able to find certain games, movies and equipment or accessories here quickly and easily, but you can just as easily find cheaper alternatives or even just more competitively priced desired items elsewhere or online.

DAPINFINITY: Excellent service, called ahead on december 21st 2021 and asked them do they fix controllers. They do that and fix/clean the inside of consoles. So I took my dualshock ps4 controller in to get fixed. First time being there also.The right analog kept drifting up, without touching the controller. I tried dissembling the controller myself beforehand, cleaned the inside, turns out soldering had to be involved, so I just took it to the shop.They replace the whole right joystick inside the controller. (Within 2 days)They only charged me $25.While checking out the place they have alot of retro video games, along with new videogames. The staff was cool and have good customer service. Definitely will be back.

The owner Matt knew I was so excited to look at the games and relive my youth he let me play everything as if it was my company. I ended up purchasing 3 machines. The other store when I called to cancel told me to pound sand literally not more then 5 minutes after I purchased it from him and all sales were final. I called my father to let him know I can’t get the money back and Matt the owner treated my 73 year old marine veteran father with nothing but class he refunded his money no questions asked !!! even though he wrapped and staged the game for delivery and still thanked my father for coming in even though he ended up canceling the deal. You don’t meet to many good people like Matt and this is why I will be a customer for life.5 stars is not enough to give this company there incredible !!!!!

Galiko Lovelace: They sold me a ps5 that was internally broken and something I had no way of knowing about within the 30 day period. My game is incapable of proper sounding audio when using a headset. I’ve used 3 different top brand headsets and all the same result. This is due to a malfunction in the gaming system itself so on top of wasting money on headsets that won’t even work properly anyways because the system is broken, when I called to let them know they assured me there was nothing they could do even though they essentially sold me a system with a ghost defect. I was told the manager wasn’t in when I called and that I would be receiving a call back once he or she was in. That was over a month ago…. If it isn’t brand new I wouldn’t buy from this place because they clearly do not properly test there used or refurbished systems to avoid these types of issues and when deemed inconvenient will ignore a customer letting them know of their wrong doings. Hopefully you guys can offer a better customer experience for future clients but you have lost one in me and I have nothing positive to say about this establishment if asked about it. God bless

Ryan Haley: When they first expanded here, things were fine but now I have seen them price gouging on retro games like crazy. (seriously, go look at Retro-Taku on 11. Same games much cheaper)They have a copy of Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 on sale for $109 which is about $59 more than it’s worth (Budokai Tenkaichi is the valuable one) and on top of that, on average you have 3 employees in the store and only one of them will actually interact with customers while the other two gawk and avoid shoppers from behind the counter. Seems like a store run by uninterested employees since late 2021

Shawn: PREJUDICE FRONT DESK EMLOYEES! If you’re BLACK/BROWN JUST AVOID AT ALL COSTS!They only greet and provide service to white/European customers. If you’re Black expect to just stand there for awhile and figure out where the sell/purchase line is cause that’s not evident either.. also while two employees sit on computers and stare at you or a white person comes in then they speak and move. So unfortunate to see businesses are still excluding this type of behavior in 2023, but expected. Any other ethnicities outside of European just avoid this place. They ignored another brown male with an afro too, he actually came in and spoke which is very odd because employees are supposed to greet guests coming into they’re establishment. This is coming from a 8 year experienced craft cocktail bartender, not out of ignorance to hospitality.
