Tony DeMarco: Awesome company and customer service. I am in CT and luckily happened to find Gentek Power online. Ordered a mixer and stepper assembly and received it in 2 days. Terry actually called me after hours to get me the part fast as if I was a VIP client and this was the first experience I have ever had with Gentek and I was just ordering a small part, but an important one since I was out of commission without and they fully understood that. The staff and the forums are great. I only wish you guys were local to me. Hard to find really knowledgeable generator techs. Thank you!!

Patrick F: I wish I’d just had Chris install our generator from the start. We got ours through oak electric via Lowes and what Chris found after oak installed it was disturbing. He went way above and beyond what I had him out here for. He came out to install a part and ended up rewiring what oak electric had literally taped to another wire and never connected to anything. Hard to find quality service and honesty these days, but Chris has both of those. I’d have paid more to have Gentek install had I known what I know now.

Christopher Kubinsky: I just want to give a big Thank You to Chris and his staff! Our generator wouldn't start and the estimate we got from an electrician to repair it was almost $2k. I could see the flex plate was broken, but it still wouldn't start after replacing it. Chris helped determine the issue was debris on the magnetic speed sensor. Cleaned it up and it fired right up. Total cost of repair was $24 for flex plate and it took my 16 year old son and I roughly 3 hours to replace.

Gary Frazier: About three weeks ago my 14 year old Generac 15kw generator would start but shut down after about 10 seconds. It would restart but continued shutting down after 10 seconds. A friend looked on line and found Gentekpower.com and sent the address to me. I sent an email to Gentek and that was the best email I've sent in a long time.A gentleman named Chris answered my email and diagnosed the problem. He said the cost of the repairs would be minimal but required going into the generator and cleaning the slip rings. Chris answered every question I asked and essentially walked me through the repair by emails and a couple of phone conversations. Chris was generous with his knowledge and information and made me feel comfortable with the repair. I tried buying some parts but Chris said they were not needed. I recommend Gentekpower.com to anyone in the market for a new generator or who might be having generator issues as my experience was first class.

They have a lot more for me to browse through than the other location does. The bathrooms were also clean and tidy, there wasn't garbage and toilet paper everywhere, didn't smell bad.Would recommend this location.

Or maybe I was just looking for an excuse to shop here.The magnets were very limited in size and expensive compared to what was available online. I ended up buying 300 magnets on Amazon.The off brand rotary tool (aka Dremel by the brand name) was smaller in size and about 1/5 the price of my real Dremel. Even though it’s $25 and very tempting to buy, I decided against it. The bits are rotating at 10,000-35,000 rpm so it’s one of those tools I am going to keep name brand just to stay safe.
