Robert Jozefiak: CAUTION TO ALL MUSICIANS: DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING INTO THIS SHOP TO BE REPAIRED. I brought a keyboard in here to be repaired. They took five weeks to look at it. After keeping it for five weeks, they gave it back to me in MUCH WORSE condition and charged me $96 for the "repair.” When I took my keyboard to another technician, he confirmed that these idiots at Pro Audio ruined my keyboard by ripping it open without disconnecting the cables first, and then did a bunch of TERRIBLE soldering work to try to cover up their mistakes. To fix all the damage that this shop has done to my keyboard, I need a new main board ($700), and a new bottom lid to accommodate the new main board ($300), and some ribbon cables need to be replaced. All in all, THE DAMAGE THAT THIS SHOP HAS DONE TO MY INSTRUMENT WILL COST $1200 TO REPAIR. The owner of the shop has refused to admit responsibility, and I will be pursuing legal action to try to recover my money. These people are not qualified to be attempting repairs on expensive instruments. CAUTION - STAY AWAY.

They have one of the biggest lighting display/selections in the Metro Detroit area and, unlike other places, they keep it up to date with the newest gear. I'm not a DJ so I can't review the audio selection but I'm sure it's just as good as this place is always busy. Competition is tight with the option to buy online but, if you're like me, you want to see/hear/test out gear before you buy & that's something that only a brick & mortar place will give you. This place will fix broken equipment and can order you any brand they sell. Problem is money situation effects us buyers . I think it's effects what people carry in stock . I was looking for something it would make no sense for Alma's to carry in stock just to costly to gamble if nobody bought it. This store is much better then any store in the area for hifi you can get a nice set up without breaking the bank. I like the equipment that most people have to sell there car to own . First I want to see them in stock and hear them before I hand out 10or 15k for a set of speakers .

Andrew Rogers: Initially wanting to purchase just a set of front speakers, my shopping experience started with another shop I entered - had me listen to a pair of speakers and pressured me like a car salesman to buy. Paul at Almas explained that the speakers were overkill for the size of the room I was in - and the lessons/learning went on from there. Paul and Jim were both generous with their time and information and more than just pleased with the results. By the way, replaced my center and rear speakers and receiver as well. Much warmer sound than where I started out from. Couldn't be more pleased with the results.Purchased a TV antenna as well. Great antenna but inadequate installation. Had a local antennae guy remount the unit - so minus one star.

The small cost seams to get forgotten as you immerse yourself in amazing sounds and music.I highly recommend Paulson's AV.(P.S. The cost is NOT that bad)

Transaction was smooth, installers were punctual, polite, and cleaned up my space very well after installations. The first time they were at my home for installation it was in March 2020 during COVID early days, I asked them to wear gloves and masks all the time during the 3hr installation, and they were kind enough to respect my request and finished up the installation in my basement cleanly without me around to supervise. They installed a projector, screen, and running HDMI wire. Both the occasions I worked with Chris Schneider, cool dude.Now they offer try it at home service where you can take any demo equipment's they have at their store to check out how it performs at your home before making a purchase decision. I don't know anyone who offers this kind of service, a great way to evaluate a product before making a purchase.
