However, I was disappointed when they increased the price to $50 in September and only informed me via email. While they provided weekly service, I sometimes noticed that the grass still seemed tall after mowing, and I wasn't sure if they missed some spots or didn't cut it short enough. It may be helpful to check their Facebook page to see if other customers have expressed similar complaints.This year, I contacted Andrew to inquire about a bi-weekly mowing service and if they could accommodate mowing on either Thursdays or Wednesdays. However, it seemed that there was a miscommunication, and Andrew misunderstood my request. He believed that I was only interested in a one-time mowing service on either Thursday or Wednesday, which was surprising considering I had been a loyal customer who had used their services throughout the entire previous season (note: they purchased and inherited the company that initially signed the contract with me last year, they continued to provide the service after the previous company's storage got vandalized). Tim Bartlet: Thought I'd write a short review on Bill's for the reason it may happen to you. I was in need of a lawn service after my current one ran out of employees to service my properties. I called Bill's as i have used them previously. When I met the new owner I explained the problem to him and he was very understanding.....until I received the quote to do the work. It was 3 times the amount I was paying previously. I asked why the large increase.....he told me you need my services now and this is what the price will be. That's fine but I didn't think paying a premium of 3 times ($26,000) for his service was appropriate, he could have said I can't fit you in this year but let's see what can be done next year. As I said I have used them in the past with OK service. I believe with his cheap rates is the type of service you get. I would steer away from Bill's as there are many other companies out there that will service you better.....both price wise and service.

Karen (who answers the phones) worked hard to move that date up so the work got done well before our party date. We had a great experience all around.

Charley Reiser: I needed a bunch of overgrown shrubs removed in order to make room for a deck teardown and rebuild. Bill's had an estimator out the day following my call and within a week, a technician was here to remove them. I am stunned that he had all of these shrubs, surrounding 3 sides of this large dilapidated deck, some of which were close to or over 7ft tall removed and the jobsite cleaned up in two hours! This was worth every cent!

Lawn maintenance (cutting), landscaping, mulch, tree trimming, etc. Bill's has always responded to my request in a timely manner. Karen is great, a joy to speak to! Ryan (landscaping) is also great. They have taken care of me in a timely fashion from storm damage (trees). The lawn care service was stellar and reasonably priced. Recently I've had to call(s) Bill's and express my dissatisfaction with quality of the lawn crews. They damaged some lawn areas and the work was sub-par. The positive is that Bill's came out, repaired everything and made sure the crews quality of work has improved.

Mike Rundel: Xpert Lawn and Snow is contracted through the City of Berkley to do snow removal for their elderly residents. We had the big snowfall on Saturday and they didnt show up to take care of the snow at my mother in laws house. On Sunday evening they still hadn’t showed so we called them, they said they had two crews in the area and was assured someone would be out. No one showed. On Monday morning we called again and they said someone would be out that afternoon. Again, no one came. We spoke to them again this morning and after being told they were having issues with sub contractors we were told someone would be out, no one showed. Her car is now basically iced in and she has missed her doctors appointments because of it. What were to happen if EMS needed to get to her. I would not recommend using this company.

When they did show up the didn't even spend that much time here.
