Jimma Lee: You literally have to ask them. When did they cook their food because they are good for serving and selling old food that was made for five days ago. and asked nicely because the young ladies at the front seem to be very irritated about being at work just because it’s a family business does not mean you have to treat people like your broke down Cousin. It’s always a hit or miss with them and they don’t seem to care, so that’s why I say just ask when did they actually cook the food to really enjoy it. But my oxtails were tasteless and my greens were dirty and had absolutely no flavor. They are two out of 10 attempts 2 being good. Mac was dry. But like I say on a fresh Made day, they’re pretty decent.
Dee Dee: I was trying to give a new restaurant a chance! I called 5 times they wouldn’t answer so when I got there at 713 exactly they said you can get what’s in the window because we close at 8 lol 45 minutes is plenty of time to make some wings but ok keep playing on your phone! I won’t be back!!

Fried okra lacked seasoning.pot roast, extremely dry,I'd suggest buying a fattier cut of beef,sear it then slow cook it. It was also lacking vegetables. Macaroni and cheese was incredibly bland no flavor,I'd suggest more flavorful cheese and seasonings. Baked chicken was dry. Oxtails were good but basic. Overall. 3 out of 10 for this place.

I ordered the Smothered Turkey chops Dinner and hands down some of the best I’ve ever had I would drive up to Michigan just for this food the cake was moist the kook aid was perfect 10/10 service . MsMoua01: First time ordering here and it was good. It’s a small little place but the employees were kind. They have a lot of choices to choose from the menu. This is a 14 inch platter custom order (your choice of roll) and they also have pre-made platter to go as well. Their platter size are 14in, 16in and another size which I forgot. I think the price is fair especially for the size that I ordered because another restaurant charged me $65. I will definitely come here again.

Had to sit and wait for my order so whats the point of doing the online ordering.. and this wasn’t the first time they did this.

Chy L: I’ve had Mediterranean food a couple of times, and was interested to have it again. I was recommended this place by a friend, and I will definitely be back! Sarah was so kind, and knowledgeable about the menu, I was able to ask her anything and she knew the answer right away. She even described different ways people make their rice bowl to help recommend what I should put in mine. It is a little expensive, but it’s understandable.

Vanessa Smith: I ordered here for the first time through Doordash. Four of the toppings (feta, hummus, white sauce, and fattoush dressing) were missing from my salad bowl. I had asked for an extra cup of white sauce with the order for an extra charge, and that was included. The salad was dry, although I could tell quality ingredients were used. The falafel in the salad was pretty tasty. The lentil soup was not the greatest. Pretty bland. I'd like to try again, but next time, I'll go myself to be sure everything I requested is added.

Matthew Olds: I’m 45, I’ve been in customer service since my first job when I was 12. I have to say that this is some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen at 12 and Hoover at the Peter way in Warren. Sarah is wonderful. I hope whoever owns this place recognizes this and recognizes her verbally financially whatever. You’ve got a great team here and I can’t believe it isn’t packed every day. Sherry Day: Went a few weeks ago and the country fried chicken was amazing. Went for it again last week and both orders were so overcooked it was stringy. The corned beef has no flavor I am used to It tasted smoked I guess you could say, I only had a taste though and the person I was with did not like it either. melissa sordino: You will get good food and nice service half the time you go. I have waitressed 30 years of my life, and every time someone orders breakfast, every waitress except here goes through the motions and asks the questions accordingly. Including letting one know about they "home made burnt corned beef hash" and that they do not have canned.. Fine, i can over look one. But ALL of the hashbrows ordered lightly cooked were burned. The most minimum amount of gravy on the Biscuits, not enough to even cover them. Then once I tipped the waitress who took my order, was asked for extra condiments (because were moving and everything is 3 hours north) and after I tipped her 10.00 for 4 breakfasts carry out, she copped the biggest attitude as if making sure we had ketchup was a hassle to her. Let me tell you this.... I spent 60.00 on 4 breakfasts and a fruit cup and even the fruit had some matted wet bread like texture on it as if it was saved off someone elses plate or pue and added to my fruit box. Now, I worked at LIZ'S HE CAFE FOR YEARS and never in a million would they make mistakes like this and if they made one, theyd fix it in a hurry. Also never would any of yhe wonderful staff treat their customers any nasty way after tip was received. Go to Liz's! 13 and Groesbeck! Tell them Melissa sent you!Parking: There was a parking spot....

Bird Enthusiast G: Absolutely love this place. We lucked out on finding it about two years ago! First of all, the staff has never been anything but super kind and attentive, but never over bearing like some places can be. It's been the same older lady serving us most times we've been in, and I secretly adore her, lol. The food itself is also great, I've never been disappointed. The breakfast always hits the spot and you won't find better prices, either! It's a very small place but somehow that just makes it even more comfy.
