Felicia Nguyen: I love this place. A whole family can eat for under $40. They always give you fresh bread! The portions are generous and everything taste so fresh. I have started coming here every other week. Try their deboned chicken- chargrilled chicken with rice, salad, and bread. You will definitely have leftovers.

Matt C: Very impressed with Oasis. Lebanese/Mediterranean food is my favorite food and I have tried tons of different restaurants around. My pre req requirements are bread and toum need to be included with my meal. It comes off as cheap if the restaurant charges separately for toum/bread with the meal. Second, the bread needs to be freshly cooked, if it’s plain cold pita bread. That’s insanely cheap on the restaurants part.Non of that was the case, my hummus with chicken entree was cooked perfectly. The bread was nice and warm, the toum was perfect and was also included with the meal. I will definitely be back to oasis and will continue to support this restaurant.

Jazzmin Finney: They literally gave me all the same sandwiches and charge me different prices for each, didn’t want to replace my sandwiches unless I sent them photos from my phone. That wasn’t the issue, the real issue is I had to keep the sandwiches on hand until I came back that way to get my order replaced because I was not coming back the same day. Who wants to ride around in the car with garlic sandwiches? Then, she also stated there are signs all around the lobby that says Check your order before you leave because they’re not responsible. How the hell am I supposed to check 5 sandwiches from the inside? How am I going to explain to my family and friends I was digging in there sandwiches because Kabob House are robbers. They do this solely for money, they don’t care about their customers.

Crystal Jankiewicz: The food here was always good… when it’s right. Sadly, I wont be patronizing this restaurant any longer. The last three times I was here what I recieved was not what i’d ordered. Once they replaced my sandwich with a different one because they were out of something without checking with or informing me at all. I live in Detroit and coming back right away isn’t always an option. They are rude over the phone (I’ve been hung up on when I’d call to try to fix a mistake) and not at all helpful with refunds or fixing their own errors. My advice, if you order carry out, please make sure you check that everything is correct and there before you leave.

Maddy Contesti: Wow! I thought I knew where the best chicken shawarma was in Detroit but I was wrong; it’s without a doubt Boff’s! I was suggested this place by a friend in Bay City that will specifically drive to come eat here. Not only we’re my mother and I offered a sample but the pricing, kindness and quality is outstanding. Don’t be fooled by the outside, it looks like a meat market but there is seating, a clean bathroom and it’s pretty open!

Todays Present: My new favorite Mediterranean restaurant! The guys working at the restaurant and the store had great customer service. They have the Northern Michigan seasonings and pasties that have been hard to find around here. The market has a nice selection of turkey chops, crab, lobster and even rabbit. The restaurant has funky selections of drinks. The tawook chicken was our favorite. The chicken cream chops and lamb chops are pretty good. The chicken and lamb shawarmas were so tender. I highly recommend this restaurant and market!

Small building, 9-5 hours, and arguably dated interior, sort of but not quite out-of-the-way location... A few places I've visited recently have leaned too heavily to the bad side of that, this place felt like a classic "slightly sketchy but obviously better for it" rather than a "slightly sketchy and it's hurting my chances of revisiting." I look forward to sampling more of their menu. And their coffee.Polite, friendly, and helpful staff. I rarely feel as welcomed as I did here! Small parking lot, but spaces were available when I visited and free street parking is also available very nearby.The two items I ordered were cooked perfectly — well seasoned and just cooked to perfection, with customization offered though not requested. Everything was well packed for carryout, especially the stew. Beyond that, the presentation / plating of the food was EXCEPTIONAL, especially considering I ordered takeout. I am struggling to remember when I was last as impressed with the appearance of my food when opening a generic styrofoam container as I was with the grill combo I got here. I have to remark again on the stew. It was not just well packed, but I REALLY enjoyed the flavor — unique seasoning, a truly wonderful mix of cuisines I have experienced before. I have not had their fries, yet I still recommend you get rice and stew instead of fries with your meal if optional.

Jfkfk Djjd: Dumb lady at the counter can barely speak any English, cannot take an order correctly. Go to a different place for better experience and non-microwaved food. Edit: I gave this place a second chance on April 18, 2023. I ordered two chicken shawarmas. I come inside and there's a sign saying "All sandwiches with pop only $7". I get charged $14 for no pop with my sandwiches, I ask how much with drinks and she says $18... So i declined. I take my two sandwiches home, just to find out it has old banana peppers, some old lettuce, and a couple pieces of tomato in each. No pickles. I bite into the sandwiches, and they are probably the driest shawarma wraps I've ever had. Chicken is tough and dry, no sauce inside, and the veggies are just old unsold fill to make the sandwich look huge. Please, I urge you not to waste your time or money on this place as I mistakenly have. There are plenty of other Arab restaurants that are better. I'm a bangladeshi and i can make a better shawarma for crying out loud. Please, don't go, trust me.

I almost swiped my card and saw that the total was 75$. I asked why they tried to hide the total, they laughed it off. Almost got scammed. Suzy Renee: New owners now called Kabob Castle Express. The cook went from writing with his pen to the computer and then put his hands on my bread and then in the pickles with no gloves or hand washing. The desk girl went from the register and her cell phone to grab bread to cut up for my bread and garlic and never washed her hands or put gloves on. Didn't eat the sandwich and tossed it because I was so grossed out.

E D: My heart is so heavy. I use to LOVE this place, the owner and the owner's son. It is now under a different name (Kabob Express) and the chicken sharwma was awful. Chicken is flavorless and dry. The garlic sauce tastes store bought. They are super small. just ugh! I miss Shish Express :-(

We got 4 diff items...chicken shawarma dinner, hummus + bread, grape leaves appetizer & a Fattoush salad. The Fattoush was easily the BEST I've had ever hands down!!!Everything was excellent ! Tasty & big portions & priced MUCH BETTER than many other Middle Eastern places that give you less food. And the owner who was helping me with the menu is sweet as can be. Sarah was so kind, and knowledgeable about the menu, I was able to ask her anything and she knew the answer right away. She even described different ways people make their rice bowl to help recommend what I should put in mine. It is a little expensive, but it’s understandable.

I had asked for an extra cup of white sauce with the order for an extra charge, and that was included. The salad was dry, although I could tell quality ingredients were used. The falafel in the salad was pretty tasty. The lentil soup was not the greatest. Pretty bland. I'd like to try again, but next time, I'll go myself to be sure everything I requested is added.

I have to say that this is some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen at 12 and Hoover at the Peter way in Warren. Sarah is wonderful.
