Cayla Cay: My driver instructor was Mr. Ross. Great techniques & instructions were giving. i was taught many different ways how to parallel park and by far his way is way better and understanding. Mr Ross was really nice instructor and I would recommend driving with him any day. He makes sure your ready to do the actual road test and he also explained everything more than once so you get it on the first or second try it was a really good experience and I felt a lot better doing this practice before my actual test. clear instructions either on the road and how to improve mistakes I made and was always extremely patient. 10/10

Jazmine M: I have been with them since 2021 and the service was pretty good at first. After awhile, it got difficult to schedule lessons with them. I told them I wouldn’t be able to continue and reached about a refund. They stopped responding to me. I’ve been trying to get a hold of the company’s contract I signed and their link is broken as well.

Kayla Tutt: My son enrolled for segment 1 and 2. The first segment was a breeze although the online instructor was not professional and spoke poorly of Michigan driver’s as she zoom called in from Texas. The 2nd segment was not without incident. They cancelled the segment a few days before it started citing there was not enough students. My son and I were able to make accommodations to attend the 2nd segment. The communication with this company has been terrible. They bounce you around from person to person. I have spoken with Mrs. Ross several times regarding the lack of professionalism and efficient communication. My son and I prepaid for a practice road test during segment 2 which was to be taken in October. We contacted Motor City via email and text at the end of September to schedule by the 17th of October but to no avail. They text us asking availability then crickets! It’s frustrating, especially when you have pre-paid for services that they refuse to render in a timely fashion. When I spoke with Mrs. Ross she repeatedly told me she would call me back because she was dealing with another parent after she was told that we have been waiting to receive a call back for 3 weeks. Totally unacceptable and disrespectful! You take people money then spin them! Unprofessional is a understatement! I love black owned businesses and I rarely write negative reviews because I understand it’s hard running a business but this is just a blatant disregard for people’s time and money! I will not recommend them and I hope you think twice about sending your children here because they are ill equipped to handle the volume of business they do. As I am writing this review I randomly receive a text telling us to show up at Oak park library parking lot in 2 days at 5:30. No regards for peoples time! This is not how you handle business! Just send me my refund asap! I don’t have anymore patience to deal with this company at this point. I’ve been patient enough!

Madison Matthews: Idk how this place gets 5 star reviews. I filled out an application and I didn’t receive my student login, so I called she told me text the number that called so I did. I waited a hour still no response. Then this other rude lady answered and was telling me I needed to relax I was gonna get it soon, just getting smart with me and being rude. So I just left it alone because I said maybe she wasn’t having a good day. She told me call back after 3 if i didn’t receive anything in my emails ( mind you texted her if i mistyped the email here is the right one) even tho I’m positive I put the right one in. So then she started questioning me and asking me why would I put the wrong one in and how she don’t got time to be going back and forth from her car and she was already in her car and I’m making her get out. So I handed my mother the phone because at this point I wanted a refund because this was ridiculous I’m not going to drivers training that’s unfriendly and not understanding. The lady said that we don’t give out refunds then later on she said they did when she was talking to my mother. Anyways she kept trying to go back and forth. They decided to go through with refund on Friday 10/14/22 but I still haven’t received anything.

She was very patient and offered a lot of compliments and constructive criticisms when my son came back from his in car driving lesson. She knew right from the start the tester, Wayne, would be very strict. It felt like she was set up to fail. I understand they have guidelines to follow, but friendliness, maybe a few smiles is part of their responsibility too and it goes a long way for a new driver. I would not recommend this place.

Railfan 1020: First off, if you arrive with a vehicle that has an inoperable light, don't whine about you loosing your $70. The study guide from the state of Michigan as well as the website of American Driver Testing states that your lights must be working. The $70 is for the hour you just wasted of the testing persons time. Drive around without a non working light and you will get a defective vehicle ticket.As for the instructor lady that gave my son his test, she was by the book and that is what I want from someone testing my child. I want to make sure he is ready for the road.I will recommend to anyone that needs testing.

Melissa Green: Mr. K and Mrs. K did an excellent job preparing our son to drive. They were the perfect combination of tough and serious when needing to be (driving isn’t a joke) and fun and down to earth. I feel our son is well prepared and he enjoyed his time in class and behind the wheel. I highly recommend Premier to anyone who wants to make sure their child is well prepared to drive. There are expectations for the class but as long as you put in the work you’ll have no problems. Thanks for the great driving instruction!

Sara McGavin: My son just took his road test with Pete tonight. I would give Pete 10 stars if I could. He was kind and informative to myself and my son. He spoke to us as though he truly cared for the wellbeing of my son and his nerves with taking a driving test. All of his directions were completely clear and given with plenty of time to make adjustments. He was fair with his assessment and gave my son very good feedback and sound advice on what he could do better, as well as complimenting him on what he did well. This was not my first experience with a road test, however, it was by far the best! It was night and day to my previous experience. Directions on where to be and what to bring were extremely clear, and the price was lower than what I expected. I am very grateful for Pete and the environment he provided while my son took his road test. He also was able to schedule me fairly quickly. I would highly recommend Pete and Premiere Driving Academy for your road test needs!

Joe Yakey: I took segment 2 here. Absolute circus act. Totally unprofessional and incredibly rude to students. I would not recommend this class for anyone, ever, neither would anyone else I talked to. No knowledge gained from this experience. 3/4 of my class did not even take the final test. Yet we all passed. Stressful experience all to not even take a test. Attached is a photo of my instructor, Mr. k, sleeping during my zoom class. That is all.

DANIEL WAGBERG: Thank you for your review Ms. Archer. We take pride in the fact that we don't ask for your money before you show up for the test. We understand that Some students get cold feet, some things happen and times must be moved. We do ask that if you cancel a test, you be kind enough to let us know 24 hours ahead, because, unlike other companies who take your money first in a non-refundable credit card transactions, we don't. Nor will we, ever, it's not our style. In this case, Text messages were sent to our tester, who was out on another test from 4:00 PM until 4:45 PM, when your time was scheduled. He was unable to answer them, as he was on a test. The first text came in at 4:09 and said you'd be late. Our tester couldn't answer it because he was out on a test. The second one said, "Does the test have to be paid in cash", even though we had texted a complete set of instructions before hand. The third text came in at 4:20 and said, "Do you have any other times today?". At 4:26 you called our office and reached another employee and, not knowing you had a scheduled appointment at 4:45, that very day he was kind enough to schedule you again. At that point, 4:35, the final text came into our road tester who was out on a road test still and it said, "Never mind, I rescheduled". That left him sitting in the parking lot for that time period, without a client. And as you know, it's very easy to fill those spots if we only have a lead of 24 hours. In your case, we had no time. So, indeed we allow you to make another test with our company. We tell you ahead of time, however, that since you didn't give us a 24 hour notice that you would be signing a contract agreeing to pay the 30 dollar missed appointment fee if you choose to make an appointment with our company and actually do show up. We only ask you to agree to it after you missed the test, and we let you know you'll be signing an agreement to that when you come. Here's the best part, you have still not spent any money. We've lost money, but you have not lost any. Had that happened at another company you would have lost your fee you sent them over the phone by credit card. So, we do inform you, IF YOU CHOOSE to use our company after we've been stood up, we will ask for a missed appointment fee and when you come to the appointment you will sign a contract agreeing to that. We are pleased that you have not lost any money working with us. We hope you have a great experience taking the test somewhere else. we understand these last minute things happen and we wish you the very best.

Tonya Archer: My daughter scheduled an appointment with this company. A last minute change came about and she needed to cancel the appointment. The appointment was canceled 5 minutes before she had to show. Totally not this companies fault and I too would have been upset if I were them! A text was sent to me with the cancellation fee of $30--which I found acceptable. I went out on the website to see if I could find their cancelation policy posted as I was told (after I had asked) that it was 24 hours notice. It was not there. I called the owner to see if I may have been overlooking it. Nope...it is not posted. The owner told me that the cancellation policy is posted in the contract that you sign AFTER you show up for the appointment. Hummm...what am I missing here? That makes no sense at all. You have already shown up so why would you care about the cancellation policy at that time? My rating is low simply because the company failed to communicate a cancelation fee verbally or in writing. Although, canceling 5 minutes beforehand is totally not acceptable, there should still be something in writing somewhere. I would have been glad to pay the fee and still have my daughter take the test here because I understood that they were upset. However, it is just good business to have your fees in writing and not get smart with the customer when they are trying to suggest this to you.

It honestly barely felt like he was in the car besides when he asked me the questions he needed to. I was totally nervous about it all and he made it feel like it was absolutely nothing to be worried about. Obviously, I was not in the class, but my child told me that they were pretty upfront about what was expected of them all. Areas that my child needed to improve were told to me face to face and I made sure to work on those areas with my child at home. Overall, a good experience.

Number one driving school in Dearborn. The first time I stepped foot in here I was greeted by the gentleman, and was shown everything in an orderly fashion manner. And segment two when I went to do my road test he was very helpful and would not immediately make me stop the car, but would continue having me driving while explain to me what I can do better next time.

They kept arguing that they never got my emails and then I overheard the husband say oh they’re in my spam folder. They didn’t apologize to me at all that it was their fault for not checking their spam folder. I did everything that was instructed but still got an attitude and an argument. Im glad I got to see their true colors before my kid ever went to their first class. These people should not be around children!

Took me months to build his confidence back up. Steve was the complete opposite. Understood my sons anxiety level and put him at ease from the word go. Was so encouraging and brought out his confidence. My son passed his test and was able to listen with the respect level he needed to learn how to be an even better driver. Highly HIGHLY recommend. Will he going way out of my way to bring my daughter in for segment 2 and her road test in the coming months. You can’t do better than this company right here for your teen driving needs! He made me feel comfortable and like we were two humans together instead of he was at his place at work ready to get it over with and be on his way home. When she tried to reschedule they said she had to do it online and pay again. They did not communicate that she would lose $70 by rescheduling. And when I called to clarify nobody would call me back. Dylan Stallard: I attended Classic Driving School’s 1 week CDL Class A program. There was open availability/scheduling and they got me into a class very quickly. The office staff was very pleasant and informative. My instructor was Mike Mueller - he was THE BEST!!! He was very informative and has a ton of OTR experience to bring to the table. I had some difficulty with one of the skills exercise and he made sure to walk me through it until I was comfortable and confident. Classic Driving School and all the instructors give you the tools needed to pass your test!! If I could give them 100 stars I would - Thanks again!!

I said no your starting pay was fine. Then he said well I have other ppl. To talk to both had never even been instructor. Im already certified. So I will be filling a complaint. XWOLF FatalityX: Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, they simply just want your money and nothing else. For starters there's no sign of where the place is or a building or anything cause it's in a rented parking lot from a gravel company or something.So I started the test and the instructions weren't great, but I knew what I was doing/what they wanted so I passed the parking portion just fine although for anyone going there be careful cause they will mark you for being even an inch away from the line (that is very faded and hard to see btw). Getting on the road was fine, wish they woulda told me what they wanted/what we were planning to do, but not a huge deal there. We got to an intersection where it was kind of grey on whether you should go or not cause the light was green, but turning yellow soon. I took it slow and once I was to the light it was still yellow so naturally I went cause otherwise id've been rear-ended by the person behind me who also was gonna go at the yellow light and this is where things went really bad. I went through the light (which was still yellow cause I even ducked down a little to check as I went under it) and after going through the intersection the instructor (who's name I don't even remember getting) claimed that I ran a red light and that he saw that it was red when I went through even though he and I both know it wasn't. No instruction on what to do in a situation like that for the future just immediate failure. Parked the car, he said ill get it next time and not another word just left to go talk with his buddy (who was supposed to be training him if that says anything) $65 down the drain, definitely wouldn't recommend.

Wise Choice Recycling and Refuse LLC: We recently used for a CDL-B course for one of our employees. They were able to get him in quickly (everyone else was telling us anywhere from November - January). They had great communication and answered questions when asked. They were always pleasant when dealing with them. Additionally, the price was actually fair. They weren't price gouging "just because they can" like everyone else seemed to be doing. Highly recommend.
