Michael McClure: Worst customer service experience I've had, but not too far off of the general Micigan boating industry. Blue Lagoon never returns calls or answers emails, they are never available in their shop. I don't know how these people stay in business. Avoid.

Josh Henry: If you’re in the market for a boat, Anderson’s is the only place you need to go. They go over the top to make sure your experience is great. From ordering, to delivery and sea trials, they make the entire process easy and convenient for you. Kayla was amazing to work with throughout the ordering process. Any questions I had were answered immediately. Status updates were communicated to me frequently. The customer service is second to none. They have a customer for life.
Peter Reinertson: I am from Wisconsin and dealt with Anderson's Boat Sales in MI. The people there are fantastic. I personally dealt with Kayla Rossow and it is the best experience I have had when purchasing a boat. She is very knowledgeable (as are Dennis and Blake), personable, and responsive. I could not have had a better sales person in Kayla, or sales experience. Oh, and the Regal 28 Express was delivered in mint condition and the boat itself is first class.

Dani Delta: DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! Yesterday my husband put a cash hold on the boat we were going to buy. They said it was a guaranteed 48 hour hold for us to get our loan approval to them. LESS THAN 24 hours after putting our first payment down and calling the bank running our credit and getting approved. They called and said they were sending a refund to sell to someone who had an offer in front of them right now.This is sketchy business. We now have now run our credit to buy a boat that was “guaranteed” ours that got ripped out from under us. TERRIBLE SERVICE!
Matt Newell: Big fans of Dennis Anderson and Anderson’s Boats! We purchased a new Key West 203 DFS in July 2019. Everything about the sales experience was top-notch. Dennis quickly took us out for a sea trial, we loved the boat, and we got the deal done in about two days with no nonsense.To be honest, they were very firm on the price of the boat. This was expected -- these are popular boats with low inventory. However, they threw in a ton of extras: very nice GPS chartplotter (installed), canvas, fenders, lines, lifejackets, fire extinguisher, flares, etc. I didn’t add it up, but it was thousands of dollars. Overall, the total value was outstanding.If you are a first time boat buyer, here’s a hard truth: no boat comes perfect from the factory. The important question is how well the dealer handles your requests for warranty repairs. Anderson’s gets five stars on this. I put together a small list of items that I wanted fixed and dropped the boat back off at the end of the 2019 season. Every issue was fixed, with no pushback, and no cost to me. You can’t count on all dealers to do this well, but Anderson’s got it done.Go see Dennis, get a new boat, and we’ll see you out on the water!

Mike Merrill: I would recommend Anderson boat sales to anyone! Dennis and Kayla are fantastic, and very knowledgeable. We where novice to the boating world , and had purchased 2002 Chris-craft which we found to be small for us. We met Dennis and the Metro Beach boat show last fall, and told him what we where looking for. Dennis recommended the regal 2800 would be the best fit for us. He stayed late one evening so that we could demo the 2800, and our family fell in love with it! We took delivery of our 2019 2800 in the fall and Anderson took our Chris-craft on trade in. Anderson agreed to store our boat for winter for us. When we launch and took delivery our boat in the spring Dennis and Kayla did a walk through with us explaining the operation of our 2800. We had a great summer with our regal. We have questions come up after delivery and both Dennis and Kayla have been beyond helpful. Albert Havers: I have visited this West Marine for several years. They are really deserving of more than 4 stars but are not quite at a level of perfection or 5 stars. I love that West Marine as a whole has such a wide variety of boating items in their stores and this store is the best. The only downside is that their prices are on the high side. I guess that is the price to be paid for the convenience of having a brick and mortar business where I can pick up boating items immediately versus having to order online where I’ll have to wait a few days. The staff has always been more than helpful. All in all highly recommended but just know you’ll be paying a little more than with online or discount store pricing.
Kevin “DUTCH” Wittbrodt: I've been to other West Marine Locations and found this one on the way to my marina. So instead of going back to 10 and Jefferson, I stopped in here. This location was always the forgotten step-child of West Marine in the Detroit area, but lately I found them to be "fully stocked," thoughtfully laid out, clean, with kind and helpful associates. I even purchased a mildew cleaner that didn't work and they gladly took it back. It's refreshing in this age to find a location that cares so much for their customers. This will be my go-to for marine supplies in the future. Good job West Marine for updating this store and employing the kind of people that you have there.

Tim Carney: These folks are pros. Our Volvo Penta powered trawler had a nagging issue where it was slow to start. Before coming to Blue Water we worked with multiple mechanics who tried but were unable to diagnose issue. Blue Water were able diagnose and fix the issue. We worked with one mechanic (Warren) throughout the repair, getting multiple updates and clear estimates for each part of the fix. We couldn’t have been happier with the work. Highly recommend them!

colin miller: I needed technical help in figuring out how to setup a 1994 75 hp Mercury on a different boat with new controls, cables and ignition. Warren was very patient and helped me to figure out what I needed. Warren wrote detailed notes and consulted both his technicians and contacted Mercury to find out how to make a new control work with the old engine. I feel like a lot of parts stores would not have taken time- I would highly recommend Warren and Blue Water Marine to anyone!

Charles Noonan: At the end of each Michigan boating season, I have my boat serviced, winterized and shrink wrapped. After ten years of hit and miss shops, A boating friend suggested Blue Water Marine. This is where I have and will continue to have my boat serviced and winterized. The price is fair and stable year to year. The boat is always returned clean, in a timely manner and starts right up every spring. The shrink wrap has never failed, no burn marks and survives the Michigan winters outdoors. The staff removes and returns the batteries and covers, helps maneuver the parking lot and calls with updates. Very nice to work with.

Keith Page: Experianced parts personnel. I went to the other chain store and person went online could not find my part. Drove a block over to Mikes Marine stepped up to Mikes Parts Counter, guy ask what do I need? He looked at my part which I had, he ask which engine, walked over to shelf in store and placed part on counter perfect match and we discussed installation. Always, always, always on point.
Jim: Awesome place, excellent people. Always helpful with projects, hard to find boating parts and accessories. Great inventory, if they don't have it they're willing to order it or will tell you where you can get it. Everyone here is awesome, old fashioned customer service you just can not find elsewhere, make this your first stop.
