Darren DaRocha: I had some pretty bad experiences with my previous psychiatrist. Never seemed to get my meds right. Jessica gave me a genesight test and was able to help me get on meds that are working well for me. Jessica listens (previous psychiatrist did not!) and now I am able to function and complete tasks I was not able to do before. I have referred 3 people there and have only been a patient with them for a year. Extremely happy with the results I've gotten.
Jj Sattdaddy: To be honest, nothing but the best attention to detail, she takes her time to listen and answers questions, with knowledge that works. I really did land on one of a kind psychiatric that suits the needs of myself to a T. Couldn't ask for better care from i psychiatry.*Find the worker who helps like this, if you feel u listened to, partner w someone who works the best care for you*who listens and helps to be a better you. If someone isn't a good fit, find the one that is. Here they have enough to find you your best fit.Being demanding towards doctors is no partnership. Just saying..

Samyiah Sade: - [ ] I went to my appointment where I had tried to speak with Dr Bens Sandire about my goals which was to completely come off inVega sustena and to take the 78 dosage. I had previously been on the 117mg and wanted to discuss lowering the dosage to 78mg after I had been on the 117mg for at least 7 months.- [ ] All he heard was come off inVega and he said he cannot do that he didn’t feel comfortable but as a supposed licensed doctor you should listen to your patients. He was extremely rude by yelling at me he closed the door and completely ignored what I was trying to say not allowing me to finish and putting words in my mouth. He even misdiagnosed me when he was the one who diagnosed me in the first place as a doctor u should be willing to do whatever it takes to help your patients. Instead he was stubborn and prideful not having it anybody’s way except his on top of that he told me to find another doctor I will not be returning there. Such unprofessional behavior from somebody suppose to be professional don’t take your loved ones here this place is a joke and not a place for your loved ones to go
Kyle Aron: Very unprofessional and a very unprofessional experience. I was at this office for many years and one day I was just cut off of all my meds and all therapy. My phone calls were never returned nor was I given a reason. I've NEVER before heard of this kind of practice in psychiatric care in my life. A horrible experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. It was a very scary situation and experience that almost ruined my life physically as well as mentally. I'm baffled at this type of behavior and would not recommend this office to anyone. 0 stars for me.

Tracy M: Dr Saindiare is very unprofessional. He prescribed me meds without checking for any drug interactions. When I called their office to make appt with the nurse practitioner instead of Dr S he refused to let me speak to her or leave a message he instead told me I needed to look for another dr bc I didn't trust him he told me there are plenty more Drs I can call & I told him it took me 6 mons to finally get into their office. I let him know that both him & his assistant were very rude & unprofessional. I also let him know I left two messages with the front desk & never received a call back.
shelly chinchak: I love Dr Sandaire, he has been there for me for 3 years.... This facility has treated me with so much respect...I am very comfortable here, he is very caring and helps so many people, all the staff are caring and understanding, also very accommodating with appointments, I've never felt like a bother, they've never rushed me out of an appointment....I can't possibly think of anything that has made me feel uncomfortable or " just a number" so to speak. They simply care about their patients, from my point of view. 👍🙂

Lance Matthews: Horrible experience,They didn't even give me an actual psychiatrist they gave me a PA,Her name was Jessica Schantz.Then After she talks to me like I'm two years old I get told I have to go somewhere else. Literally the most unprofessional person I've ever talked to. Then her team backed her up that's why the whole company is getting this review, no one talked to me they just took her side of the story.......I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone especially if this Jessica still works there. I mean you have 2.8 review already. I just can't believe that no one else talks to you they just kick you out. After I was treated like a 5 year old, and talked down to, great job guys, really helping people!
Roseann Garofalo: I was a patient at this clinic for four years. I stayed at the clinic for one person and that was Dr Kim. She is the best therapist in the world. Other than that. I had to self diagnose myself and ask to be put on the requested medications that I knew would make me feel normal because Jessica insisted I was Bipolar and had me on medication that would make me have side effects or daze out. I know my own head and how I feel 💯 and she insisted on telling me how I felt. And I was a recovering addict and she always treated me like an addict. Not a recovered addict. I recently had a cancer scare and had a nervous breakdown and had a bad month. And the first chance she got to act on it she did and used it to discharge me from their practice. I am so glad I am out of there. But I will always miss Dr Kim.
Shelby Linnenbrink: Dr. Kim is great! I feel like she listens to everything I tell her and gives me constructive thoughts and advice as to what I can do for the situation I’m having issues with. Jessica, the NP, is great too! Jessica has helped me to understand what the medications I’m taking are doing for me. The front desk staff are also very polite and friendly whenever I come in!
D Rae: I've been going here for quite a few years and I have never had a problem with the doctor. In fact there's a therapist named Kim she is awesome to talk with. Doctor Candle at and a couple other ones that were there we're also very professional easy to talk to and listen to my complaints. The nurses there are very caring and ask lots of questions. However there's a receptionist at the front window that doesn't seem to like her job and shouldn't be there.

Lauren Woerner: My therapist Dr. Kim is the best therapist. I just moved to Michigan last year and I had a therapist in New Orleans that I was super attached to. I was hesitant at first after being with my old therapist for so long but instantly Dr Kim at Ipsychiatry made me feel good and comfortable and I trust her 100% with my heart with everything I tell her. She had given me more helpful advice than my last therapist ever did in one session!! I highly recommend Dr. Kim as a therapist if you are seeking one. She is the nicest lady you will ever meet and so very compassionate for everything you are going through and are feeling!

Julie Zavala: I took a friend of mine here, this place is very un professional! With all the money they are making off prescription medication. They should update their lobby, looked a scene out of horror film set in the disco error!!!. Front desk was on a personal call when we arrived, she continued that conversation while we waited, very unprofessional. I am sure they are used to dealing with different types of people from all walks of life, with that being said not everyone walks in there for a prescription!!!! Some people want help. Place is a Sham! Out to make $$$ We walked out! I wouldn’t recommend or take anyone I Loved to this place!

Acie Mahon: It’s been hard to get a hold of the secretaries since they began teleworking. They do not answer the phone. They leave the recording that the office is closed during working hours. You leave a message and they do not bother to call you back.
Laurie Smith: Dr. Sam may be a very busy guy but he is very intelligent and caring, it takes time to find the right combination of meds and he knows what he is doing. Also if you have things to talk about write them down and he will talk to you. I think he’s a good psychiatrist, and I would recommend this place.

Anonymous: They give you a time for your phone call appt and then you get a call over an hour later. Also, watch what is being charged to your insurance company. Insurance being charged a code for a 20-29 min. “session”, when you’re barely on the phone for 5 mins. Even before covid, sit in the office way past your appt time and still only with the dr. 5-10 mins. If I’m not mistaken, overcharging an insurance company for time not “used”, is like charging them for a separate procedure that is actually already included in the main procedure…it’s fraud.I like the doctor, but these phone games aren’t nice for people with mental issues and the dishonesty in the billing process is alarming.

Kathleen Taylor: Will make you think they care and don’t. I have had severe insomnia my whole life. Used to be on kolonopin. The withdrawals were horrible and decided I wanted to see if a psychiatrist could help with something not addictive. Everything they prescribed made me sick or didn’t work. I said screw it because after a couple months I was fed up. Found a new primary that gave me hope saying it’s not if but when we figure this out. It’s been 2 years and the seroquil dose he prescribed has given me my life back.Do NOT GO! If you have an early morning appointment he doesn’t even show up until 30 minutes after his first appointment time and then there’s a crowded lobby. He rushes you through.If you are unhappy that think you’re a drug seeker. Ridiculous since I came to him to get off benzos
Capn Shan: I was discharged from the “help” of Dr. “Sam” because I expressed that I was unhappy with my treatment after being hung up on by the physician himself! I was also taken off a medication that was helping me a lot, with no explanation. This caused me to go through withdrawals and end up suicidal on multiple occasions. Unless you want to end up sicker than you already are PLEASE STAY AS FAR FROM THIS PLACE AS YOU CAN.

Charles Kotovich: Dr. Sam ,is very busy. I have known him for almost 20 years. He was my dad's psych ,as well. He has gone above and beyond to help me throughout the years. He ,is very fair and regardless of what any of these people say,he is caring. The staff up front has changed. Dr. Sam ,is the best Psych I have ever had.10 months later at worst time he's switched me back on things we have tried 2 or 3 times before that don't work mess with my hearts QT interval etc. He lowers what was keeping me just on this side of the outhouse now im spiraling out of control. I don't know how much more I can take of this, stuff. I lost a cousin to covid my uncle had it 2 times another cousin passed from cancer. My cat seems to be on his wayWay out. I'm cut in half no warning. It was his personal choice I have known him 20 years he was my dad's psych. Doc if, You read these I need help. I can't do this. . I shouldn't have to go out and try to level things out.

standard E: Dr. Sam (Dr. Lingnurkar nick name) and his staff are unprofessional money grabbing jerks! Dr. Sam will schedule you and MANY other people for the exact same time then make you wait for a minimum of 1.5 hrs to be seen. After he actually comes to see you, you may get about 2 or 3 minutes before he walks out of the room even if your still talking to him. He does not have a clue what meds you are taking as he does not review your case and makes not thought out spur of the moments decisions about your care. Then when its time to get a prescription or a doctors note, you just pray that what is given to you is what was actually discussed in the back room. If you disagree with him or the staff they literally yell at you and discuss your personal information at the waiting room window where everyone sitting can easily hear. Now imagine going through all that every two weeks as he insists on bi weekly appointments. The only thing you will look forward to at this office is your first appointment at a different psychiatrist.Update:They forcibly discharged my wife for complaining too much about the meds that never got called into the pharmacy (because Sam kept changing his mind after the apt.). We had to rush and find another doc before her meds ran out so she dident start going through withdrawals (she is on some meds that are dangerous to quit cold turkey).

Marna Taylor: Receptionist very rude and unhelpful.
Christopher Plemmons: Dr Kulis improved my wife’s life in every conceivable way when we were going through an emergency. The thoughtfulness regarding our situation, the confidence in her own knowledge, and the professionalism of her entire office made an unbearable experience much easier. She is one of the best psychiatrists we have seen.

Niki Foster: I wish I had done more research on this doctor before taking my daughter to him. He is not to be trusted with your loved ones. He is fine as long as you don't ask questions or would like to have input or comments about your future care or mental health improvements. My daughter had a mental health crises after finding her father's funeral on Facebook. Never had any previous mental conditions. Dr. Sandaire misdiagnosed my child for his own capital gain and ego trips. He really acts out when asked for a medication reduction. My daughter was nearly a zombie due to the dosage and he still didn't want to reduce her meds. More recently my daughter had come to his office and he shut the door and berated her after she tried to discuss her future goals with him which entailed a weaning process for the medication. He yelled and told her she was crazy basically and to find another doctor after not even allowing her to finish her sentences. I gave him my trust to treat my family member and he caused his authority and mentally, emotionally and verbally abused and attempted to discourage her. Please please don't take your family here. You can't trust this man. He has also had a lapse in licensing previously
Kristina Marie: My mother was referred to this quack... (I also work in the medical field.)So I do no a thing or two about substance abuse, addicts, and medications.For example, medications you can, or definitely should not stop taking (unless weaned off properly) without risking serious side effects, such as seizures, death n etc. Along with all the typical withdrawal symptoms.However, this doctor told my mother after taking a certain medication for 30+ years she should just stop.Of course my mother asked "what am I supposed to do if.....,"And that A$$ literally told her "go to the ER"this doctor couldn't care less about anyone.I'm just glad I was able to hear what I did.DEFINITELY Would NOT Recommend!👎👎👎

Jaxon Smith: don't bother!! MAKES YOU WORSE!!I would give -5 starts if I could. The doctor himself ignores my needs and my issues and assumed in the first appointment what was wrong with me, and has been medicating me left and right to the point I was half unconscious in bed and vomiting everything I had in days and kept blacking out, since I was having a bad reaction to it. When I called to talk about this, I was told a note would be given to the doctor; it wasn't. I called back every day for three days while now unmedicated, and then got yelled at by the receptionist, and then finally they stopped answering and I sat for 6 minutes with it just ringing, and no one ever answered. This happened three times. Now today it happened all over again, and I'm once again unmedicated and was yelled at by the front desk until they hung up on me and I had a panic attack. This has been basically the norm since I started here a few months ago. The doctor himself won't even diagnose me properly or even listen to what I say, and simply talks over me and then gives me more meds. His assistant is the only person here who made me feel heard and understood. 0/10 DO NOT GO HERE!!! I now have further issues than I came in with, and have to start over and go unmedicated for an unknown amount of time. NOT. WORTH. IT.

He knows some natural remedies to help certain things and doesn't just push pills. With him and Chinedum, a therepist there my quality of life has gone up. Brenda Webb: Dr. Sam is an excellent psychiatrist. He cares about all of his patients. He is very familiar with mental illness, and can immediately diagnosis where you stand with your particular type of mental illness. I would not be comfortable with any other psychiatrist when he comes to my personal mental health. His office is often very busy, but this is because there are many people that also trust their mental health in his care. I have never over-heard any patient speak negatively towards him, nor have I witnessed any patient being upset with him, which says a lot considering that he is practicing in the field of mental health.
Georgette Goring: This Dr saved my life and told me I was not going crazy I had a traumatic brain injury and Post traumatic stress disorder and cebri pseudo tumor. Also as he reads EEG's and can see the brain giving me a seizure.
Hugh Garrett: "Treatment" will likely result in iatrogenic injuries. Terrible shrink is way too cock sure of himself. Zero out of ten; he doesn't care about your well-being from my experience. I'm contemplating filing a lawsuit.

Julie Fathbruckner: If I could give negative stars, I would. I had a terrible experience with Bal Gupta. I was admitted to St. Johns Hospital on 12mile and Hoover. He was the attending physician and immediately wanted me to admit myself into the psychiatric ward for 72 hours, and follow his outpatient psychiatric onsite curriculum. The information and trauma history I gave him should have prompted some boundaries and some investigation, like a phone call, with my current counselor. I have a trauma counselor that I regularly see, and gave him the office info to check and consult. He never did. I talked to my counselor while admitted to keep her informed of my situation. Gupta pushed his narrative on my situation, and refused to consider any of my trauma history or current treatment. Without any consult he put down my present counselor and argued with me about my current counseling treatment. He did not listen to me. He delayed releasing me. He is very arrogant, argumentative, impatient, condemning, insensitive, harsh, and rude. He could benefit from non-violent communication, look up Dr. Rosenburg on YouTube. People have choice, freedom, and responsibility. He will take away all of these rights. As an aside he is not in network for BCBS, and I wonder why?
Brianna Eldridge: Terrible money hungry PSYCHIATRIST (what can be worse than a terrible mental health doctor) that will REFUSE an appointment no matter if an emergency or not unless your full balance is paid... Disgusting to say this office operates the way they do. The front office staff is just as worse and has the WORST attitudes 99.9% of the time and has no sense of urgency even in the most urgent life threatening times. It’s awful to think these people are still operating a mental health business. Multiple family members have been here and seen this doctor (not by choice) and has had the same experience and I am just in awe with how terrible Gupta/Nicole/ and the whole front office performs for its patients. They would rather argue and fight with a person in a crisis about money then actually treat them. Ascension needs to let this doctor and whole staff go to save what little reputation they have left.

Patricia Voishsich: I’m sorry, but it really saddens me when I read the reviews that are posted. I’m 72 years old now but my first encounter with Dr. Gupta was in 2000.I had to have a total bipolar breakdown and was put into a mental ward at St. John’s. My first question is what did you expect when you got Dr. Gupta? Did you expect an interview at that time to see who you wanted? There’s always going to be someone who your assigned to no matter what facility go to! However, he was very attentive to me he kept all his appointments at the hospital and proceeded to take care of me for years until I move to Florida. I move back to Michigan three years ago and fully intend to see him again. So here’s to you Dr. Gupta I think you’re great!

They are the MOST NON CARING health professionals I've ever met.He has got to be a billionaire because he has a great racket. If u are admitted into St. John's mental health Ward, he'll be the Dr. Assigned to you. Then he forces you to go to a Partial Stay program that you have to go to everyday for 8 hours, until he decides to release you. Weeks, Months, Whatever. And guess who your doctor is there? That's right, Ole Money Grubbing Gupta. But get this, you rarely get to see him. He pawns you off on his Evil, Uppity, Assistant, Nicole. But whichever one you get to speak with about your care is only gonna spend up to 5 minutes with you. NEXT. Gotta keep that money coming. And when you go to his office! OMG! The staff (who you can tell are under pressure from higher up) are rude and pretend they have no answers. But you wait in the Waiting Room for 60 - 90 minutes AT LEAST, only to go in and speak with Nicole, the Assistant, not Dr. Gupta, for 5 yes I said 5 minutes, after that horrendous wait.SO NO. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. That is, if you want the help and service that you and your insurance pay for.Dr. Bal Gupta is not the one.
Maria Miller: The staff is not friendly. My daughter just got dropped because she didn't know about an outstanding balance EVEN THOUGH she will be without her meds on a holiday weekend and they refused to give her the shot she had the appointment to get. This is after we had to pay full price at the pharmacy because the unfriendly staff would not call the insurance for pre-approval.

I found Ami with International Therapy Solutions through an employee service my work offers. I read her bio, thought she seemed nice, and concluded that I would give her a shot.When I started treatment with her, I was extremely nervous.
