Chris Runde: The staff here was awesome! Prices are a bit expensive, but you definitely get enough food for the money! Service was great and they make food their own way, just slightly different than the norm! Chips are freshly fried and the shrimp tacos had grilled pineapple and a vinegar slaw on it. My only complaint was the tacos were a tiny bit too salty, but still very good. I'm going back and giving them another try!

Zachary “HiSTiO” Cole: Went at a very slow time of day, only 2 other tables at the time. The food was amazing, and the owner was extremely nice. My only gripe was the service was a little slow. We had to wait well past our glasses were empty for a refill and had to go to the counter for the bill and a box. Aside from that, the food was good enough to warrant another visit. Everyone has an off day or could've been something she was busy with in the back. We will be back soon, hopefully, on a busier evening.

Was recommended by a friend of my travel partner and we stopped on our way to the airport I'm so sad I had to get rid of the rest of it because of the airport restrictions. Will definitely be visiting this place again next time I am in the area.

Heard they opened this location and it was “delicious” I decided to try it in hopes it would be much better than before. Once again I was disappointed. I got a fried wing dinner with Mac and yams. The yams were okay and the cornbread was ok. I wouldn’t even say good, just okay, not nasty but not anything I would go back for. The chicken was undercooked, pink in the middle, there was no type of seasoning on it at all. Going to a SOUL FOOD restaurant, you would think they season the meat. It actually tasted nasty like the grease was old and they fried it in the same grease they fry fish in. I tasted a hint of fish when I took my second bite then stopped eating it. I am severely allergic to fish. I’m glad I didn’t have a reaction to it. I had a family member try it and they said it tasted like fish also. They didn’t offer me any type of dipping sauces either. The only reason I’m giving one star is because the sides were decent. I will not recommend this place to anybody in the future. Especially this being the second visit I’ve had and been disappointed both times.

Pat Em: Cozy Grill is just that: Cozy. It's not very big, it's not fancy, but you go in and it somehow feels like home. The restaurant is very clean and and comfortable. Service is friendly, quick, and welcoming. The menu is breakfast/lunch with some great choices. A friend and I went there for breakfast. Being a french toast junkie, anytime I visit someplace new to me, I always order the french toast. My friend ordered a skillet breakfast that had hash browns, onions, green pepper, sausage, cheese, sausage gravy and 2 perfect over easy eggs on top with a side of whole wheat toast. The serving size was beyond generous! I tasted the skillet, and it was delicious. I was especially impressed by the sausage gravy. Just the right consistancy and so flavorful, no hint of greasiness at all. My friend could not finish her breakfast and said her leftovers were just as good the next day. My French toast breakfast came with 6 half slices of french toast, and a side of bacon. The french toast was excellent, just the way I like it. So often at restaurants the bread is given just a quick dunk in the egg custard and thrown on the grill which results in an egg coating on the outside and dry bread in the middle. Here, they allow the bread to soak in the custard so the inside is nice and moist. The outside was grilled to perfection and the inside was hot and fluffy, the way French toast should be. Outstanding! The bacon was lean, tasty and cooked crisp, but not overcooked. The coffee was hot and strong and my cup was kept filled. The prices were very reasonable and the portions generous. Our food arrived right off the grill, hot and fresh, due to our waitress being mindful and not allowing it to sit around under warming lights. I truthfully cannot wait to return to the Cozy Grill Cafe. I can't wait to try more of their food. I look forward to seeing our waitress again. It will feel like coming home.

Kate Tessman: This is a great hidden gem on the Warren/Roseville line. The cocktails and food are fantastic and they have a solid selection with something for everybody. They have enough space to accommodate a decent sized party, but no separate party room. They do have a patio, which is very crowded on nicer days, but it is charming.First timers beware: Every time I go in, the hosts have absolutely no idea what they are doing. I'm never sure what their seating rotation is, they don't communicate to each other which tables are reset or not, and they are horrible at acknowledging their guests when you're standing right in front of them. They start walking with the menus and you have to just assume you're following them. Once, I was put on a wait and they didn't even say I was. I stood there awkwardly until they walked away from me. I never feel welcome and I've been tempted to walk out before, because the hosts seemed inconvenience by me being there.However, if you can make it to a table or grab a spot at the bar, the rest of the staff will take amazing care of you. At the very least, the one and only manager I've seen there, is always running around with purpose, and she knows how to make sure you leave happy.

I called one day and was placed on hold and then the phone hung up. I called back again to place an order not even an hour later and they were closed. It wasn’t even 7pm yet which is when they’re supposed to close. I called another day and they were closed. I went to look at their hours and an additional day had been added to their closed days. Now, I’m looking again today and a fourth day has been added to their closed days. Their service is becoming really bad.

Karla Robertson: I have had the Mac n cheese, string beans, and dressing.. They were very good, but I’m sitting here in their parking lot at a time they should be open, and they are closed. This is not the first time that has happened. I called their number and they say they are closed with no explanation of why. That’s so frustrating. Another lady in the parking lot with me was even more frustrated because she had driven a lot farther to get here. I would just suggest that you are open during your posted store hours or give a reason why you’re not open.
