Shaddad Mansoob: Ordered a unicorn birthday cake with the horn for my 5 year old daughter.. they gave me the wrong cake.. my daughter wasn't too thrilled since she didn't get the 1 she selected.. when I told them they made a mistake they didn't even bother to offer me a small discount like 10 percent off or even a free pastry.. I didn't care about the money but it was about the principal of ruining a little girls birthday.. I made it so clear that I wanted the cake with the horn.. I ended up taking the cake because it was on the day of her birthday but they could've at least made a kind gesture for messing up.

Macy: Do not order from this location they sell old cakes. I ordered my daughter a bday cake and it was old. Called to have it replaced but the owner or whoever wouldn't even consider it so it was a waste of 60 dollars never again.

I Showed them a picture of what I wanted and they went over and beyond to make it so perfect!!! All my guests raved about it!! I appreciate you guys so much!!

Unfortunately, my cake looked nothing like what they showed me and more like they have a first grader on staff to personalize cakes. The store wasn’t busy so this was not a rush job. You really got my hopes up Sweet Dreams and the attitude of the girl who helped me also didn’t help.

And both were so gracious as to give me extra Sweets to sample. On New years eve we got the Bushe de Noel the chocolate kind for $50 the inside was very dry all you can taste is the cream. Way overpriced for the taste!!!

Marwa makes everything fresh and she knows her stuff. I love the fruit tart, its light, tastey and hits that sweet tooth craving everytime. What I like about Marwa's deserts is you can tell she made it in house and she uses real food ingredients and not fillers and junk. Every time we go in, the ladies at the front are super respectful, and will take in any considerations you have.Some people say that some items are on the pricier side, but that is the price for REAL FOOD and I'd rather pay higher price and eat real food, with culture and flavor than have deserts with cheap fillers and food colorings.You can't compare Jaret Al Amar with other desert places, because she has a new menu with traditionl dishes and authentic style. Whereas other desert places have had the same cakes, and rolls for the past 20 years.The cakes are super moist and her knefe has flavor and authenticity to it. The Mfat'a she makes is to die for and tastes exactly like dishes I've tried in Beirut. Arab sweet dishes are labor intensive and difficult to make, so all the respect to you and your team Marwa for your hard work.

The quality of product is great. Since they have opened, I always buy sweets from here as gifts for friends and I always know the quality will be the best. I love the shops décor as it is lively, royal, pristine clean and bright. Satilla suppose to open up across from them but, I will always be a loyal patron to Jaret El Amar. I drag all my friends here and they all say that the quality and taste is unbeatable. They have so many products from my favorite Mafroukeh to Jams for toast to Macaroons.
