Sharon Spivey: My grandchildren are really big fans of bubble tea and were quite excited to see the open sign shining in the window last night. The sign on the door said to enter through the back. We raced around the corner and into the open door only to encounter a red faced, angry young lady who rudely shouted we are closed, we are closed. You have to leave. Puzzled, we stood there for a moment before saying fine and turning to the exit. She followed, walking quickly, face still contorted in a major frown. My ten year old granddaughter was the last to leave out the door. She had on a poncho and it got stuck in the door. The rude young lady continued closing the door on her even after she said please wait, my shawl is stuck. My granddaughter had to yank it from the closed door. She was so upset afterwards that we just went back home. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. I just wished they had remembered to turn off the open light and locked the back door. There was no way for us to know they were closed. We didn't look for an hours of operation sign, in our excitement.

Charlene Torres: This is the ONLY place I go to get a drink. The atmosphere is amazing! Everyone has a smile on their face. And they have awesome customer service skills. You will not regret going to this store. The owner has a great personality and everyone who works closely with her also has amazing personalities.I have a gluten allergy and they offer gluten friendly options. They also have dairy free options.
Morgan: This has become my go to spot with my friends. They have great boba, sizing to fit anyones boba tea addiction level, and the staff are all super nice. They have a huge selection of macarons, I've seen raspberry, maple bacon, even s'mores. They also tell teapots, teas, mugs, the squishy tiktok stuffies, keychains, stickers, and they are very supportive of the LGBTQ+ community. They have pictures and descriptions of their employees including their preferred pronouns.

Lauren Reed-Gibson: Note: You have to enter the store from the back! Cute store with mellow vibe. Upon the cashier's requested recommendation, I tried the cake batter milk tea with strawberry popping pearls. For me, it was just ok, as the ice watered down the flavor, and the popping weren't as crisp as I was hoping for. Would I come here again? Yes, to try something different, and without the ice.Parking: Parking was limited and metered as this business is on Woodward.
Pup Ficus All Seeing Eye Dog: Detroit bubble tea is one of my favorite bubble tea places in the Metro Detroit area. They have such good flavor combinations to choose from and the people who work there are so friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. My favorite flavor combination is banana, taro, and caramel. It tastes like caramel corn. It's so comforting and delicious and such a nice treat every once in awhile.The macarons are also very tasty. I also enjoy browsing the wares that they sell against the wall because they always have something interesting to look at.
emma: this place is rude and gave me a cracked cup that spilled everywhere in my car… when i called back to explain what happened they told me it wasn’t their fault and they can’t do anything about it. so annoying & won’t be going here anymore. ELI TEA in birmingham is such a better place please take your business there!!!!

Collection of Rae: My girls have been wanting to come here for a very long time... we finally went and it was such a nice environment... the owner was there sorry I forgot his name.. but when I say he was sooo genuine and kinda. He gave my daughters some amazing 🍭 that they enjoyed very much! Both of my girls got a bubble tea.. it was nice a sweet.. not watered-down at all.. we froze the rest overnight and when they got home from school they finished them. AGLS Process: Watered down. I've bought the green tea bubble tea 4or 5 times, tasted watered-down so I tried light ice, still barely any flavor. Tried NO ice, which they charged me $.50 for no ice, AND still tasted watered-down, barely any flavor.

Gwyni Bowman: Every year I come down to ferndale for the DIY art show and I always make a point of coming to get Boba here. They have a very good variety of flavors to choose from which is exciting. The staff are always extremely friendly and super sweet! They have always made me feel super welcomed and comfortable which I appreciate because I’m not from the area. They also hire a diverse group of individuals which makes me smile :) Anyways, this place deserves all the love and business and I look forward to the next time I can visit ferndale so I can get Boba from my favorite place.

K R: This is a chaotic atmosphere, so much going on that it is anything but a peaceful place to relax.The service was great, thankful for the great recommendations. They have some unique options, and offer hot or herbal iced tea. There are very few places that offer fresh brewed tea as iced tea. The herbal traverse city cherry tea was refreshing but did seemed watered down at first, but hot better as I drank it. All the flavor sunk to the bottom.Parking: Some days there is free first hour of parking on the decks

Brigitte Mora Richardson: Eli Tea Bar is a quaint, enjoyable tea bar right in the center of town. Meet a friend or just stop in for a drink to carry with you— Eli has something for everyone. Kombucha on tap, traditional bubble teas with tapioca pearls or jellies and over 50 loose leaf teas. Lemonades (including butterfly pea flower combinations) and lattes with a variety of milk substitutes are all delicious. I haven’t tried the cheese teas (sweetened iced black tea with liquid cheesecake on top) because there are at least 2 dozen drinks I already love on their menu that I haven’t felt the need yet. Eli Tea is cheerful and the location is fantastic, as is their tea.

Too many favorites here to keep track of but I keep their peony white tea, rose lavender oolong tea, lemon-lavender sage, and others at home for a delightful break everyday! Incomparable to anything that could be purchased elsewhere. This place is a gem!

Noel Spring: I went to Eli Tea for the first time the other day since before the pandemic. The space is cozy, and the menu is interesting - I especially like that there are several tea lattes with no caffeine including a roobois chai that was quite lovely.The downsides were that the employee, and the owner she texted, couldn't tell me if the hot chocolate contained dairy. I waited about 15 minutes or so for the employee to ask the owner and the answer was still "I don't know." I found this very odd.The other downsides were the high upcharge for non dairy milk (1$) and that the drinks are all served in to go cups. I can't get behind the excessive waste of only serving drinks in trash, and nothing beats wrapping my hands around a nice warm mug at a Cafe.I would consider going here again to try some of the other drinks, but only if I could sit and enjoy my beverage in a cup that won't end up in a landfill or in the ocean.
Moe Berry: Great little place on Old Woodward give it a try they have so many options. I enjoyed the strawberry milk tea with the boba. I wish they had room to make smoothies! Employees are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Especially the rosehip bubble tea. the regular bubble tea is gross too. i don’t remember what my friend ordered but we were both disgusted and threw them away. There is a starbucks is steps away and I recommend everyone to go there instead.
