I went down to the front desk and showed them our confirmation email and was told that all the jacuzzi rooms were sold out. Not offered any compensation for their mistake, just told that we were out of luck and there was nothing they could do. Will NEVER visit again.

Ashley Ototivo: Pretty sure someone just lost their life above my room. Wrestling on the ground sounded like the ceiling was going to fall through and glass shattering is what I heard for 20mins. The front desk did not seem surprised when informed. I’ve been terrified to come out the room and after calling to see if it’s safe the front desk lady says the male is at the front waiting for a ride! Like what? She 1st said it would be addressed and police where coming and now he is just at the front waiting for a ride? I have been watching out the window for police so I could leave and go about my daily activities planned but nope, it’s not safe to leave the room. We pre booked for 5 days and are looking into other hotels now and will loose our money because it was through a 3rd party! SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY & do not book here!
saad murad: Nice place, clean room, the pool is really fun for family and one hour adults privacy. The breakfast is really delicious. More over the hospitality of people from the manager mahir, he is super nice and the front desk Noor. I really recommend you to visit this hotel.
Jennifer Wenzel: The first time we stayed here was great. This time, however, was disappointing. The room was mostly clean but someone on the floor was smoking Marijuana and the whole floor smelled like skunk. It permeated everything and gave us headaches. Calling the front desk was fruitless, we were merely I formed it was a no smoking hotel....well duh. Obviously someone was not obeying the non smoking rule but from desk staff did not care. There were kids screaming on our floor until after midnight and using the hot tub was impossible as there was a HUGE party with dozens of kids running wild in the pool and hot tub. We saw only 2 adults for 20-30 kids, and again the front desk ignored the issue. Breakfast was okay. Just a disappointing stay compared to previously.
Ashley Nicole: Worst hotel I've been to in a while. Was given a room only to walk in and it be filthy. Went to complain and was given a 2nd room and that one was even worst than the first. Third room had a sticky bed side table and phone but by then I just said screw it and stayed in there since the rest of the room was moderately clean. Will never be back. Staff was apologetic and offered a free bag of chips and candy for the inconvenience.
Amy McClung: This was the worst hotel stay we have had as a family. A party was happening in the hallway, still going strong at 11pm, and management allowed it despite the crazy level of noise - screaming, singing, kids running down the hall banging walls. We moved rooms which was no better. And this photo shows how clean our room was - this was plainly visible next to the bed, gross.

Jeffrey Smith: I have stayed at this motel by choice for many many nights over the past 2 years thus earning diamond select status from this location exclusively. The staff has been nothing short of professional until today. This morning I had no choice but to catch an early flight out so I gathered my belongings and headed downstairs, the front desk clerk was upbeat and positive and even wished me a great rest of my day! Then I made my way to the breakfast lounge to grab my usual, 2 yogurts. There is where my experience was unmatched like never before… the lounge host was nothing short of unprofessional in loudly advising me that breakfast doesn’t start til 6 am! I replied, “sorry and put the yogurts back.” She said, “NO go ahead and take them, just wished you had asked.” Well let me share some professional advice, I was taught not to interrupt someone on the phone, so I politely helped myself. Lesson learned for both parties, your guests do have choices! Pic of what time I disturbed her, never again.

Rahmaan Thomas: We stay at Marriott whenever we travel as we are Marriott owners. However, this particular hotel does not follow the complimentary upgrade that is possible with our ownership level. As we do not have the top level. Only the Platinum and Titanium get an upgrade. Which is wrong on so many levels but I digress. On top of that they charge a $100 security deposit that will be increasing soon. Which should be on their website just like some charge for parking and someone can make the best decision possible with the available information. Probably won't return to this hotel due to this things. I understand that some are franchises and that fine but we will probably not be back. Also vent was broke in bathroom and you could barely breathe with shower on. I have attempted to contact the manager several times over the last couple of days. I keep being told the manager is not there but comes in at 9am. Called several times throughout the day and manager was not in. I also have not received any call back either. Also breakfast was not very good either. That should definitely get worked on. We stayed on a Saturday and checked out Sunday. It is now Wednesday and no call and have not been able to get ahold of the manager that supposedly comes in at 9am. Employees acted like you were bothering them. I asked for 2 additional towels as my family has 4 people. I was given the third degree just asking for towels. I had to repeat myself several times that there were only 2 towels in room and I had 2 children as well. The person at the front desk wanted the used towels first before giving anymore. Finally after about 5 minutes she went and got one towel. I had to again request another towels. She then went and got another.
Kendo That Video Ninja: Location advertisers as family-friendly. One hour after check-in we were told if we cannot contain our two-year-old son we would have to leave. Also advertisers as a smoke-free property. Every time we came in and out of the main entrance there was at least two people smoking. Due to an ice storm we were without power at our house for several days. Hotels stays we're our only option so we figure rent a hotel that is family friendly. At one point we checked in with the front desk to make sure we were being as quiet as possible and the front desk receptionist said maybe you should just keep him in the crib for your stay which only ended up being two days. Several times we mentioned to the front desk that people were smoking at the doors and we were ignored. The floors in our rooms look like they were very lightly ran over with a vacuum still hairs and crumbs all over the place and leftover confetti from what looks to be Valentine's Day which was a week prior. Everything below waist level witch is all in child's reach looked like it had not been wiped down and weeks. I travele 4 months out of the year for work and when I'm out alone I rent pretty cheap hotels when we are out as a family we always rent nicer rooms and for the price of this room it does not meet up to standards. I would strongly not recommend this hotel if you are looking for anything over 3 stars and or family-friendly. This is only a two star mid-level hotel at best. I hope my review is found useful to everyone.
Mistee Merritt: My experience at the TownPlace Suites by Marriott overall was pleasant.I was recently injured and needed a place to rest during this difficult time. I called ahead to reserve a room for myself. I SPOKE WITH Alyssa, who was the front desk receptionist. She was very polite and helpful over the phone so I booked one night. Upon arriving I was greeted immediately by a smiling receptionist who turned out to be Alyssa.I was in a lot of pain because of my injuries. Alyssa was very understanding and quickly moved through the process of checking in.The room came with a small kitchenette. Which was great! I was able to store food for my stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I felt so comfortable there that I booked two more nights. I was able to get the rest I needed and left refreshed. Breakfast was set out on time every morning and there was a good variety of items to choose from.The overall look of the hotel and amenities were good. I can't speak of the surroundings or nearby shopping as I didn't leave my room much. Although the hotel seems to be going through renovation, which Alyssa confirmed was happening it did not affect my stay ( I did not have a renovated room). I booked this hotel to rest and reset. I was able to do just that. I can't wait to see the new renovation.A huge thanks to manager Heather who was able to correct an error made. I was overcharged but Heather apologized and quickly rectified that problem. Overall my stay was pleasant and I would consider booking again in the future. As a person who works in customer service, I give them 5 stars for great customer service!

Mrs Wright: This was better than i expected. I just needed a night to sleep peacefully and got just that. The customer service from beginning to end was great. The room was nice in size, clean, and cozy. There was a full kitchen complete with dishware and utensils. There were a few mold spots in the tub. The breakfast was not what I expected though, I thought everything has been returned from Covid days. I didn't care for the egg souffle, the bagel was okay, and the tea options were limited. Most of the options were black tea. I did not visit the pool or the fitness area. The outside grounds were kept very well too. I would recommend this to my clients! As a licensed travel advisor, I enjoy visiting without letting them know I am checking it out to sale!

James Rivers: This is a nice out of the way place to stay. We were there for an over night event for my Granddaughters Girl Scout Troop. The staff was incredible in making sure all our need were met with very clean rooms for girls as well the adults, breakfast, the pool & play areas for the girls. Big Kudos to all the staff!! Free gym and pool is great, even if they are not very big, usefull enough for the basics. Building is kind of old. If you like modern style hotels this is not your place. Christine Krumins: Full service hotel near funeral homeNoteworthy details: I had about two dozen guests coming into town for a funeral so I reserved the Dante room as a place for us to gather for food and fellowship. The room would have been better if it had at least a sink and maybe a fridge and/or microwave. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I can't say enough about the kitchen in that we were allowed to store our luncheon leftovers in the walk-in freezer. However, the unfortunate situation was that they didn't have enough staff on Sunday morning so were only open for a few hours for take-out. Two other things worth noting - the pool was packed with kids and the entrance to the pool was right across from the Dante room; and the bereavement rate was higher than what people were able to find online. This was my second stay here in conjunction with a funeral and I would stay again.
Marissa Bolden: Hotel was very disgusting it was trash under my refrigerator and my air conditioner. I asked the front desk receptionist to have housekeeping come clean it, he said yes but no housekeepers ever came to clean it. I booked a king suite and the next morning when I tried to go get breakfast they said it wasn’t apart of my stay so I had to pay to eat breakfast, which is very unusual because I thought free breakfast came with your stay just like every other hotel does, so that was very weird. Their pool also closes at 9 so me and my spouse couldn’t even go for a late night swim even though we paid damn near $200 to stay in a king suite for one night. Last but not LEAST, the receptionists were so rude and didn’t care to accommodate me and my spouse requests. I usually love coming to hotels but because of my experience here I won’t be staying at another hotel for a while. So no swimming, no breakfast and my room was horrible. I truly regret staying here and if I could give this place negative stars I would. I literally would rather stay in a Red Roof Inn than stay at this horrible hotel. Please PICK ANOTHER HOTEL I BEG OF YOU.

Kris Amber: Came for a night away. The hotel is nice, needs some updates. I came during a city power outage so the hotel was booked up. My hallway smelled the whole night. Bathroom is very small. You have to make a $100 deposit which deposit are understandable but I’ve gone to nicer places and paid less in a deposit. A: Alright so I am actually quite surprised this hotel has just over 4 stars as a rating. I’m going to cut to the point of the positives and the negative I’ve experienced while staying here. First off, I had to switch the key card to my room a total of 5 times while staying here for 2 nights. They just randomly stop working and was forced to go to the front desk and get new ones each time. Next, the ice bin in the room was filled with used tissues from the previous people staying in the room. The bathroom has no ventilation so it gets super foggy while showering or even no exhaust when using the toilet. The bathroom also had a broken lock and and broken faucet in the bathtub. Not to mention the sink being outside of the bathroom and the one I had specifically had a faulty drain so it took a while for the water to go down. Woke up the first morning of my stay early since the lady at the front desk told us there was complimentary breakfast. Wrong. You have to pay for it. Not sure why I was told “complimentary”. The hallways seemed a little dirty on our floor as garbage would rarely be picked up off the ground. My room was not serviced once during my visit with no house keeping at all. No fresh sheets or fresh towels. Although I ran into issues, I will say the staff is polite and provide good customer service which is why I give 2 starts instead of 1.

The guy at the front desk Said he would keep the pool open a little longer for us to enjoy. That wasn’t the case. We were also told complimentary breakfast between 6-9am. NOPE! I had to call the front desk several times because the room next to us had a bunch of children screaming. I didn’t know if they were hurt or if there was a responsible adult. They were shaking our walls at 2-3 o’clock in the morning. The best they could do was knock of $20 for our experience. We couldn’t even get a roll away bed when we were told we would have one in our room. When we asked about it they acted like they didn’t know what a Cot was. This place doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. Worst experience ever!!!! Don’t come here.

They only serve decaf coffee or tea in the mornings. The phones were damaged and house keeping only cleaned once a week if u reminded urself to tell them u wanted it done. Some things like wallpapers coming off, restroom sink fixtures loose. Fridges, microwave, coffee in the rooms. Plenty of device connections and plugs. TV has xfinity cable. Local Bally sport, HBO and regular cable channels.Pool is small and there is no hot tub. Fitness room is stocked. They have one peleton, 2 ellipticals, 3 treadmills, free weights and cable weight machine.Breakfast is typical hotel fare. Each day different options. During our stay we had fried eggs, cheese omelettes, something like scrambled eggs. 2 waffle machines, one fresh fruit option, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, breads etc. Coffee is not bad. Couple of carnation creamers, and plenty of cream and sugar options. Decaf coffee was actually not bad. They have fresh cookies M-W.The Bed is very good. Noise from street can be heard. If your a light sleeper bring some ear plugs. Speedway convenience store has it all. Even has Beer and wine. I believe even some liquor.Plenty of nearby restaurants.Note shop around for best spice. It varies widely among the hotel reservation systems. You can save alot by checking different sites.

Me and my family were very comfortable and cozy in our warm room. We will definitely be back. Thank you all for providing us with comfortable, our power went out at home, we needed a quick go to!

Alicia Crumell: Great location. Many restaurants and stores around the hotel. It is directly next door to a speedway gas station. Staff was friendly. The room was nice. I love that they have hand soap and lotion in pumps already so you don’t have to use bar soap. They also have body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in pumps as well. I didn’t use those though. I will say the walls are thin. I could hear kids running up and down the hallway on the floor above me. I also could hear someone in the room above me FaceTiming someone (heard the FaceTime ring tone). I would definitely stay here again.

Jimmy I: I would NOT recommend. I booked this hotel through Priceline. The Manager GQ is very very nice. The hotel was the worst hotel you can possibly stay at. Look at the pictures I post. It speaks for its self. Shower did not work. No electricity. The have a no pets sign on the door but they 100% allowed dogs. The smell of marijuana through the rooms.

I was in immediate contact with the employees following their discovery. I caught one And put it in a cup so i was able to show staff. They seemed indifferent after I caught one. I took it to the front desk to show the manager. The staff said no managers were working. Then refused to look at the BED BUG I HAD CAUGHT AND PUT in a cup. I filled out A form that was going to lead to a resolution, but it has been ignoredI have to sterilize everything that was brought with me and attempt to keep it out of my home. Jo Singleton: We got a handicap assessable room it was disgusting. The room has mold, water damage, and the floors were so dirty!!!!! Our room key constantly doesn’t work. What’s scarier is that when you go to the desk to get a new key they don’t ask for ID or a name for who’s in the room, they just give you a new key. This is our third and LAST time staying at a Days Inn. We’ve stayed at 2 separate locations in the Detroit area while visiting in-laws. Both were terrible. We thought if we went further out they would be better. Wyndham should be ashamed having this location under their brand.

Jonas Marshall: I booked at this hotel because I was from out of town. I was allowed to book with my temporary papers with my face on it as well. I had an amazing stay. So I rebooked the hotel for a later date. They claim they can't take it and turned me away. I was stuck with nowhere to go and have to wait since I booked through a third party to get my money back.The room was renovated and I can say I had no problems with the room.
Stacey Collins: If I could rate it zero I would. Customer service has gone way down. Very rude and unprofessional. Management allows it. I will never recommend this place to anyone. They have roaches and bed bugs. Management won’t check into any complaint. The rooms are super dusty and dirty. The toilets are broken. The pop machine is always empty. It took my money and the person at the front desk walked away in the middle of the complaint. This place is trashed and if it had an inspection it would be shut down.

Mark Thompson: This hotel should be torn down and rebuilt. The place says smoke free however hallways smell like a 90s dive bar. The floors are uneven and move under your feet. The floors in the room are the same. The room was 80% clean and the bed was the best feature of the whole room and stay. It was not worth $70 for the night I stayed there. I would never take my kids here.
