Zamaan Cafe: what do users think?
noha elnagar: Best falafel I have ever had since I came to USA 25 years ago. Although, I’m very picky with falafel since I’m Egyptian, I was so impressed. Excellent customer service as well.
Micaila Rose: Delicious food, friendly people and good atmosphere! 🤗
Reuben Kapp: My wife and I love this place! Every meal we get from here is fresh and delicious (every time!). And the owner is such a friendly person. This has become our go-to lunch spot. Check it out!
A D: Dined outside. 80 degrees. Refreshing tea with lemonade infused with rose water with exotic meal. Tahini blended with olive oil and spices served with pita, made a tasty beginning to the meal. Chicken Beryani (chicken with rice, onion, garlic and curry with raisins) smelled as amazing and as inviting as it tasted. It came with a side of fattoush. Delicious meal combinations of flavors and smells rose, lemons, curry and more …. Delicious

Palm Palace: what do users think?
Roberto Velázquez: Muy buen restaurante, con buenos alimentos típicos del mediterráneo, a precios accesibles
Jennifer Havelka-Smith (niffin): Edit 1 June 23: finally got around to dining in. The food is plentiful and delicious... And served by an adorable kitty-bot! Our server was super friendly and accommodating. And the dining room was lovely.Delicious... And SUCH a save that it was open for Christmas night!
Amber Lynn Lademan: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Chris Rosenau: An absolute gem. The food is absolutely fantastic, yet still affordable. Between the unique architecture, and elaborate decor, the atmosphere is also very pleasant. My hostess was Hoda, who was very attentive and prompt.
csmit34: Hoda was a great waitress and the food was delicious. First time here and will be returning.
J H: I have been coming to Palm Palace for a number of years, and I have had nothing but excellent experiences. The food is delicious, and Hoda, our regular server is truly exceptional!
NZ S: Poor service. Had to wait about half an hour to be seated, though most tables were empty. Food was luke warm at best.
Mohamed Ali Saneh: The food was delicious, the ingredients were fresh and the service was top notch. Our waitress Huda made our experience enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back because of her service. Thanks Huda!
Yana Galazutdinova: Amazing food and service! Special thanks to our server Hoda.
Soheil Servati: Nice place with good ambiance, friendly staff and big portions food. Prices was also reasonable. If you are in Ann Arbor and like Mediterranean food I suggest this place.Recommended dishes Chicken Shawarma, Fattoush Salad, Beef Kabob …More
Kelly Michaels: Last 3 times I have requested Extra CHAR Grilled onions with my Lamb Kabob. Last 3 times I barely got ANY onions. I always TIP. SO. The moral of the story IS don't tip. And don't add a NOTE. because NOBODY reads them. Lesson Learned. Thanks for saving me money ; )Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Beef Kabob …More
Pamela Bennett: We went in to have dinner for our second time on Sunday 8-21. We got Hoda as our server again. Very cheerful and efficient with fulfilling all of our service needs. The food is unbelievably delicious! The Coconut Shrimp Appetizer..scrumptious! The Moroccan Soup has a spicy, hearty vegetable goodness! The Shish Combo Shareable is enough deliciousness for a family of four. Needless to say that bread is warm and habitually delicious! I’m hooked! See you soon Hoda!😋Went back repeatedly for takeout and good packaging, hot and fresh when you get it home.Last night 5-24 got Hoda again for Dine In. She remembered US and we shared in another Great Dinner experience! Nice atmosphere and enjoyed the robot delivery..soo cute!😉
Fatma Alkooly: Amazing food! Great atmosphere. Our waitress Huda was the best. She was very sweet and helpful. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mediterranean food.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian grape leaves
Matt Swartzlander: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Shawarma, Pita Bread, Shish Tawook, Beef KabobMore
E J: The palace itself, the food and most notably our server Hoda, made this one of the most memorable and enjoyable meals of my life. The flavors of Lebanon brought me back to my childhood, the grape leaves were perfect. The chicken shawarma phenomenal. Ask to be seated in Hoda’s section. You’ll feel like you’re at your aunt’s house getting stuffed as plate after plate of delicious food is brought to you. Amazing 10/10
Tony Spica: Food was excellent and the service was top notch. Our server was Hoda and she was very helpful for my friend who had a food allergy. Highly recommended.
Adreanna Doud: The food was very good and our server, Hoda was amazing. She was very friendly and funny. She accommodated us very well
Jacob Willett: Best middle eastern food ever. I've been flying back from LA to eat here. Hot fresh bread, garlic sauce, delicious lamb, and Hoda was a perfect server. We had a gluten free guy in our group and shared the feast. She split out his dinner and ensured he didn't get any gluten. Ten stars!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Baba Ganoush, Pita Bread, Chops, Shish Tawook, Beef Kabob …More
Michael Taillard: It's definitely a Lebanese restaurant, which means heavy, carnivorous dishes loaded with with fats and proteins. What I didn't expect was that each bite would be juicy, tender, and flavorful - not at all the gut stretching experience of choking-down dry beef and chicken that is typical of the style within SE Michigan.Side Note - I was skeptical of the Gaelic sauce and its reviews, too. Now I put it on everything they offer - meats, veggies, breads, everything. It's an amazing addition to the flavors (a bit overwhelming by the spoonful - don't try that).

Baba Dari Mediterranean Grill: what do users think?
Fey Fishy: -Expensive-Tasty wraps-Abysmal, tiny portions-Disinterested, distracted employeesFood was good, but as you can see very little food for $91. Small baba ganoush costs $4 and literally was just a sauce cup worth. Rice was $5 and wasn't impressive size wise and wasn't even garnished. The largest portion of food was the fattoush salad.I ordered my food over 2 hours early for pickup at 4:15, I had to wait 17 minutes for it to be ready with only two other customers eating in the store. I'm all for employees to be comfortable at work(they had earbuds in), but they were talking with family/off the clock employee behind the counter. Didn't apologize for my wait, and if I hadn't checked through my order then they would have let me walk out without two $6 drinks. They were pretty uninterested and distracted. Upgraded my drinks for free($1 value) but didn't apologize for forgetting them in the first place. This place is best for takeout-lunch, look somewhere else if you want decent service, or fair food portions for money. Inside of the restaurant is pretty boring looking and undecorated, wouldn't suggest dining in.Parking: Few parking spaces in front of restaurant, in a very awkward spot.
Michael Hess: Good food good peopleFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Falafel, Pita, Garlic Parking space Difficult to find parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
Manish Shiwlani: Long wait… okay foodWent back again and food was salty like someone threw a tub of salt in the chicken… terrible!!!
Jeneen Dari: best food and fresh
Daryl Johnson: I ordered the chicken shawarma with extra garlic sauce and it was extremely delicious. I was very appreciative for God letting me have taste buds. Good job Baba Dari! 🙌
Viv N: I ordered a lg baba Ganoush. They basically dumped the small into the large, added a colorful spice, and charged me for the large. It is a little bit out of the way and absolutely not worth itFood: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Ruth Ann Buntin: I love their service and the atmosphere. However, I felt the food, in particular the chicken, wasn't as well seasoned as in times past.I was a little disappointed, but their service made the experience worth it.
Jason Makonehan: Hungry for iftar, 20 dollar bowl maybe gets you three strands of chicken and beef. Complete robbery. Not even good food either. do not wase your money here.
stephanie peck: The best lentil soup!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Greek Salad, Garlic, Baklava, Shawarma, Chicken Shawarma Bowl, Tabouli …More
Vic Bullard: The food tasted good but the portion was not worth the $14.81 I paid. I ordered a shawarma bowl and when I finished I was no where near full. Drinks were $3.75 which is really expensive.
Arjo Mukherjee: Amazing food! I have lived in the Middle East for a very long time and Baba Dari reminds of my childhood and has a unique taste to its food. It's a must try!
Fareha Mir: We stopped for a quick bite while driving through the town and got 3 beef shawarma wraps and 1 falafel wrap and 1 tabbouli salad. My kids who are very picky, loved the beef shawarma wraps. Salad was awesome. Food was fresh. Would love to go again.Recommended dishes Shawarma, Falafel Wrap …More

Jami A: This 1-star review is based purely on the taste of my chicken shawarma sandwich... it was abysmal. Even my toddler refused to eat it, and chicken shawarma is one of his favorite treats. This sandwich’s chicken tasted like dead animal. There was only a smidge of garlic to hide the taste. Absolutely nauseating. Two other quick observations: 1) I was told my order would take 10 minutes, but it took 30, and 2) only one sandwich was made; I’d ordered two.
Trupti Khade: Fresh food, great place! What is even amazing is the service. I got something in my order that I didnt ask for and I told the server about it. He politely replaced my order, no questions asked! Truly an amazing place.
Avram Liebowitz: I got sick from eating the food here twice, the only two times I went. I've heard similar dismal stories from others that have been here. Very unfortunate.Food: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More

Julia Norton: I walk by this place daily to get my coffee decided to stop in and eat cause I was going to ha e lunch anyways and let me tell you it was sooo good .this is going to be a regular place for me thank you for the lovely food and for your courtesy ....
Erin: Place is absolutely amazing, still and always. Everything is super fresh and just has the top-notch flavor/quality to it. Love the felafels, soups, anything meat they do is incredible, all of the different pickled veggies... Just YUM
Kaylyn Campos: You cannot skip the falafel here, it's in the name, and they certainly live up to it. The best falafel I've ever had. Their portion sizes are huge, one wrap can easily be two meals. Their fries are heavily seasoned, crispy, and not greasy. They don't skimp on the veggies in their wraps so it feels very fresh, with plenty of sauce so it's not dry. An important note, they have their allergen information right on the front counter. My husband has celiac disease and they specifically note what items contain gluten. They also have tons of vegetarian options. Very accessible and absolutely delicious! The staff is always very kind as well. Don't miss out on this place!
Patricia Palazzolo: Fattoush salad was not like normally get and i have eaten at many restaurants. Hardly no lettuce. My co workers tried to put order in online wouldn't let them workout credit card. When i picked up order cashier disregarded that and said u can order online then pay. So i had to wait and it took awhile i shouldn't of put tip on card when i ordered there. And sandwich wants that great for lambkafta hardly no flavor. I want in phone. Used phone to show cashier what my co worker was ordering. He didn't understand my English from menu.... no phone conversation going on not rude like this restaurant.
Dan: Good food here

Yasser Mansour: So good! The falafel reminded me of back home in Palestine. I will definitely get again.
Laila M: DELICIOUS!!!! My whole family loved it. The spice and flavor was the perfect amount and the sandwich was put together so perfectly. it didn’t fall apart at all.

Koreen Miller: Tonight was my first time at Haifa Falafel. It used to be my husbands go to place until we met and I insisted Dearborn Kitchen and Palm Palace were the best, then Covid came, and we basically stopped ordering out.Tonight, after I said I’d like to go to Palm Palace, but the last couple of times we went, we hardly touched the food and ended up throwing it out(once is a fluke, twice is unacceptable, three times, shame on me for going) he suggested Haifa Falafel. I called ahead to order(which was nice that it’s not just by app)Not only was it ready when I arrived for pick up(I live across the street)the owner was VERY nice, greeted me with a smile, the food was still warm when I got it home. There were plenty of sauces and extra pita. My Husband ordered the Lamb Kafta, I ordered the Shawafel, and we also bought a small side of falafel, garlic sauce and baklava. These were hands down, the largest and most delicious wraps I have EVER had, and I drive all over the state for a living and have tried many! We didn’t get the Mega Wraps, just the normal size! The spice was perfect on the meat, it was packed with veggies, and the sauce was divine! The grill he does at the end to seal the sandwich makes it so much easier to eat, as well. The side of garlic was nice and big and filled to the top(unlike Palm Palace, anymore) neither of us could get through the first half of the sandwich, but am already looking forward to lunch tomorrow.I call BS on the negative reviews. Food was wonderful, atmosphere and employee were great and because of one of the negative reviews, I did take a good look around and everything was very clean! I am now bummed over the time and money I wasted all these years at Palm Palace, and now I will never go back!Thank you SO much for a wonderful dinner! I cannot say enough good things! Forget 5/5..it was 10/10!Vegetarian options: They offered many vegetarian dishes and regular dishes that could be made vegetarian per request.Kid-friendliness: The place had plenty of room, tables and chairs for dining and is nice and bright.Parking: There is plenty of parking upfront and they also have dedicated handicapped parking.Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair accessDietary restrictions: They have several vegetarian options. They also said they have gluten free dishes availability, but not sure if it’s in a dedicated GF area.
Daniel Harvey: The best Middle Eastern food hands down in Ann Arbor and the surrounding area! Truly authentic food with impeccable service.
Michael Kuentz: Ali and his chefs are phenomenal. This place is always busy. Of course, the food is outstanding.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Pita Kabob Grill: what do users think?
Theo: Best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at
Noah Walker: The reason why I give this place high props is because what used to be called the Rhyz b harr and is now the Eggplant B-Harr is an excellent combination of garlicky, spicy, and cinnamony in the best way possible! Just note that this place is small with limited seating.
Rudraj Koppikar: Best Lamb Shawarma and Pistachio Baklava in A2Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Cajun Fries …More
Laura: I had a little indigestion with the beef… otherwise it is fine

Brooke Halak: The food here is amazing and there is a lot of variety!! My favorite is the lamb kabob pita and it never misses especially with the garlic sauce. I’m always craving this and it’s always ready quickly for pickup. My go-to for sure!
Ehsan Zarshenas: I am surprised this food got a lot of good reviews! I ordered a meat platter online. Both chicken and beef were super dried out. I think the food was sitting on the counter for the whole day before they shipped it to me at the end of the day!!
Ibrahim El Halabi: Ordered dinner including yogurt drink (ayran). It came expired since October.Recommended dishes Chicken Shawarma Sandwich …More
Deborah “Destinykids” Abodunrin: Wasn’t open when multiple days when it was stated to be open but overall good food but overpriced tho
Amaya Hall: The best Middle Eastern food in Ann Arbor!! It’s reasonably priced, and so so good. I get the eggplant b-harr pita every time and it’s always wonderful. One of the best things I’ve had in my life!
Jeffrey Micale: Eat here for lunch once a week. Consistently good, love the flavors and the staff are friendly.
Joe Xu: Nothing to write home about, there are much better options around town.
Antriksh Mutha: Got the Falafel Sandwich and Mujaddara. Sandwich was huge, taste was good but was a little dry. Would recommend adding some sauce in the sandwich. Mujaddara was mediocre and had no fried onions. Felt like I was having Indian Khichri. The restaurant doesn’t have a standard dine in. They have chairs and table outside to sit and enjoy the food.4 stars just because it’s open late at night.
Fischer: they forgot the pickles in both of my shawarmas… how do you do that?!?!?
Grace Su Ming: Many vegan and vegetarian options and always delicious and well seasoned. So many options and good size portions. Staff are awesome!
Martin P: Germ of middle eastern food
Noel French: Long ago, as a vegetarian undergraduate, I ate here at least once a week. It's been over a decade since I've been in, but I'm spending a lot of time in Ann Arbor recently while my wife receives care at Mott, and what can I say? It still hits the spot just like it did way back when. I'm no longer a vegetarian, but Meghan's falafel pita still satisfies as an omnivore. Just delicious. I definitely won't wait another decade to go back.
KARUTURI: It was recommended by a friendIt was okay not that greatOkay for evening snack
