Eddie Smith: Okay gas station that offers niche products like firewood and also has updated gas pumps that accept digital wallet payments. However, this place was kinda filthy... almost every garbage can was overflowing and there was trash on the ground.

Bruce: Pulled in at 10:44, on my way in he turned the lights off then proceeded to tell me they close at 11, it was 10:45. They have cheaper gas, and more competent employees down the road at any other station.
Mechelle Ross: I stopped to get gas at 9:30 this morning, $45 spent at the station, an Indian man dropped my change in my hand, instead of giving me the money back the same way I gave it. I wanted to tell him he maybe should not work with the public if he scared to touch peoples hand when giving their money back to them, so next time I will go some where else, where people doesn't mind putting my money in my hand the same way I gave it.

Jay Baxter: For 24 hour gas station they’re hardly ever open
Marlon Anderson: I've been coming here for months buying the deal that's advertised on the fridge door. I've had issues with their systems changing and not recognizing their own deals but they do their best to keep their word. I'm very thankful and pleased because they seem to address any issues, unlike 7 eleven up the street towards downtown. I just hope they keep the labbats at 3 for $5! With that, I don't mind paying a little extra for my gas because Shell is known to have better quality fuel, if you do your research you'll see why, but sadly I guess I'll just have to find another place to fuel my car and my belly when the deal ends.

You say you’re open 24 hours but never open when I stop by. I will be going somewhere else that I know is truly open 24/7. I understand everywhere is short staffed, but dont advertise hours you are open that you’re not. consistency and reliability is key.
Christina Watkins: Yesterday while visiting this location I was given poor customer service by a girl (with purple and silver hair not sure what color it was supposed to be) behind the counter she was clearly racist and she had a attitude with us from the moment we walked in. My boyfriend asked her could he see what a pint and half a pint looked like and she walked over grabbed half a pint and when he asked her again to see the other one she then got loud and caught a attitude breathing hard and say Oh My Goodness. Then she kept saying do you have id which is normal but it was the way she said it and I showed her my Id but she didn’t have on a mask and no gloves so I refused to let her touch it she then started to yell put it on the counter. I put my id on the counter and I asked her why are you acting like this is a clam nice voice and she ignored me. The girl was so mad she couldn’t even read my Id and I had to tell her multiple times my date of birth. She then got mad because she put all of my items in one thin bag and I told her to double bag it which she had a problem with and as I was reaching for the bag to do it myself she then pushed my items which she is lucky nothing hit me because I would be pressing charges for assault. I know she was being racist because there was a white women behind us who she didn’t treat like that only us.
Lucas: This is a pretty nice gas station. Great selection of all kinds of snacks, food, drinks, alcohol, etc. The bathrooms are clean, but it is only a single person restroom. Very close to the Michigan stadium.
Thomas Roelofs: Avoid LIquor Store. The sign outside says prices at state minimum. Bought a 750 Beefeater Gin and then found out later that I paid $2 over the state minimum. Flat out lying and false advertising.

Cassandra: For those looking to add air to your tires after the minimum temperature on November 3, 2019 shot down to 27 degrees Fahrenheit – DO NOT attempt to add air to your tires at this location. After I spent over $9 on the air pump which lacked any indication that it was broken despite taking my money, I ultimately gave up on the prospect of adding air to my tires once I saw two other people attempt to add air to theirs (unsuccessfully) and drive away. I was able to add gas to my vehicle but I had to go elsewhere to add air to my tires. I am hoping that management will see this review and mark the air pump as broken instead of siphoning small change away from unknowing customers.

Alyssa Chappell: The gentleman who was working in this store was rude as hell! The store was completely empty and my family and I were standing there waiting in a line for the restroom. We were not being loud, rude or obnoxious . The clerk comes and tells us we need to wait outside to use the rest room so the other customers can get through. Mind you there was literally no one else in the store but us. I am 100% confident as to why he asked us to do that. I’m not one to throw the race card but it was obvious for me in this case. My family purchase gas and we intended to get snacks and head back on the road. After that experience I will make sure to never stop in there again!

David Winter: I used to go here all the time, because of their free air, even though their prices were a little higher than down the road. But their air hose broke a month or two ago, and they have shown no interest at all in replacing it. So ... I no longer go here for gas.
Alex Hood: What a wonderful little oasis to visit. A lot of gas stations in Ann Arbor are kind of uptight and snobby but when you walk into this store, you are immediately welcomed in to what feels like a slice of home. The employees are helpful and kind, always go out of their way to help me and other customers find what we are looking for. (as for the other reviews regarding the traffic, there is a street on the side to turn onto which helps you get back to the main road, BP is on the corner of Plymouth and Upland). Sad they do not have their repair shop anymore but the place seems to be flourishing regardless.

So since it was placed wrong give me the price as mark. Very fraustrating having merchanise mis labeled & having to pay extra when clearly it was placed at 1.19 area. I'll never come back here again & advise everyone to ne very CAUTIOUS.

Ryan Bajema: I've had my truck towed once (selected by AAA) and serviced twice by these guys. Thankfully I had a very good experience with their mechanic Aaron. I usually have a former mechanic buddy do work on my truck, but he was unavailable both times that Brewer's worked on it. I had him review the bills afterward and he said they were more than fair. That's why I took it back the second time. I hope to never need to, but I would take it there again even after reading the poor guy's story below.
Joey Ostrander: I had a truck repaired here. I needed a water pump replaced after it broke on the freeway and my truck had overheated. I informed the mechanic in detail of this scenario including the fact that I knew my water pump was broken.As I was in a time crunch due to a heavy workload, I could not replace the pump myself - typically an uncomplicated task for someone who has done this before.Rather than diagnose the true extent of the damage, and recommend what should actually be done with the truck, he simply replaced the pump for $600+, an outrageous charge for such repair. My truck was returned 3 days later in a barely driveable condition as the engine made horrible internal noise and lacked the consistency and power that it used to.My truck engine blew 2 weeks later destroying any possibility of repair. I had to sell an otherwise $4000 truck for $900.When I had a friend, a trained professional working for Ford, re-examine the truck before selling, he informed me that the problem - a broken piston - should have been plain as day to a mechanic. The right and honest thing for this station's mechanic to have done would have been recommending further repair or salvage of the truck, and advice against driving it until further repair.It was a shame. I expected more from a business that otherwise appeared honest.

Alex Pickens: The wait at times are long but the gas is cheap and the employees are helpful
GNS: This has been my go-to gas station for nearly two years. It can be crowded and somewhat messy, but the prices are good.Today though, I was overcharged. My car has a 23-gallon tank and I pulled in with 6-7 gallons in the tank. The pump was exceptionally slow (took app. 10 minutes to fill) and claims to have dispensed 21.7 gallons. I know my car well and this is simply not possible. I have contacted BP customer service and am awaiting their response.

Tony Emerson: Price is excellent, but place gets crowded and fender benders are common. No bathrooms for the public. Staff gets tired and cranky with the overwhelming traffic. A few cents more and you can avoid the problems. If it’s all about price, then this is the place for you.

Matt Postiff: This station is often busy. I like to give it my business not only because it is near where I work but also because they often had good prices the last two years. Sometimes I wish the car wash was still operational.One tip...if you pull in from Washtenaw and end up facing north when you pump gas, you can drive straight out the back of the gas station. Just go around the right side of the building like you are going to the car wash and continue past the car wash and make a quick left to get out to Washtenaw via the old Arby's, or go straight and it will take you to Glenwood where you can turn left and get to the light at Washtenaw.
