Linda Petty: 1st time here. Just wanted a quick snack. Their crab rangoon taste like death. Over cooked, hardly no filling, and stale.
Karla Osorio: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I have to say it was an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with good customer service by the super nice and kind staff. They went out of their way to make me and my family feel comfortable and welcome, which was a great start to my dining experience. The food was also incredible, with every dish bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. As a college student I was pleasantly surprised to find that the prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food.Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience!!
jime19911: The sweet and sour chicken is good but I recently tried the General Tso chicken today and was grossed out by it. It was slimy and didn’t taste very good. The sweet and sour chicken was much better. The egg roll wasn’t very crunchy or that good both times I’ve been here. The people here are friendly but the food isn’t that good for what you pay and what you get. They need some improvement but they probably don’t care due to their proximity to South U and the high traffic from the students in the area so they’ll get business either way. There’s much better Chinese food in Ann Arbor.
Adam Thomas: Long live One Bowl! The spicy seafood ramen is the best around!
Bill pearce: Food was great, and so was the service!
Frank Page: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5More
Ishan: Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Nathan Storer: The food was fine and everything, but I don't appreciate being forced to have the tip, or "service charge" as it was shown on the bill, being automatically rolled up into the final bill. I will decide what the service was worth. Not you. First visit. Won't be coming back.
Linda Monroe: Nice little restaurant with good foodFood: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Elizabeth Poirier: Delicious food. Tried 6 menu items and they were all delicious. I would definitely recommend the crispy sesame chicken and the katsu chicken curry
Tyler Uekman: Good friendly service. Great flavorful food.
Xin Li: Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Eric Lichtenberg: Great Food! Got one of the ramen bowls and the pork curry with coconut. Both came out extremely hot. Very good flavors. The restaurant itself has a nice feel. Lots of cozy signs hung up everywhere. One thing that was interesting is there was an automatic gratuity on the bill of 18%. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of.
Robin H: Amazing staff, pretty solid Korean food. The ahjumma gave me free Ramune because she thought she messed up my order. Very nice.
Danielle Majors: A nice variety of menu items. Good prices for the amount of delicious food you receive.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Tian Chu Restaurant: what do users think?
Vigilante One (Vigilante 1): I love this place for their traditional Chinese food, great hot pots and seafood dishes. They also have a large variety of other Asian based dishes.
Lexie Koay Eblaghie: The food is very authentic and delicious. It’s a haven for Asian-Americans to get good food from their home countries.
Desmond D: Nice lunch set
Ruheng Zhao: The worse and unhygienic restaurant in Ann Arbor. Cockroach was found in a to go dishes.
Tey Kai Yang: Worst Chinese food restaurant in AA and it's overpriced
Olivia Rui: This is a consistently good quality restaurant! The key lies in what you order. My favorite is the Chong qing spicy chicken. The eggplant and tofu and the knife peeled noodles are also good.
Minkyu Choi: Good place with authentic Chinese . I would like to visit again.
Venus Tsai: I love their spicy pickled vegetables fish soup! It's very authentic and delicious.
Z: Overpriced ok food.
David Mei: Over priced POS. Avoid at any cost please!
張國勳: 道地的中國北方料理,而且菜色選擇多元,是在ANN ARBOR難得一見的中式餐館。
Shawn Thomas: The taiwanese fried rice is nasty. They should be ashamed to sell this for $13. It's thin sliced hot dog with frozen peas and carrots, a little egg and steamed rice. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
Alexandria Tilt: Been coming here for years! Very kind staff with the best Sichuan food in the state. Be kind as English is their second language. Patience pays off! I recommend the mapo tofu and stir fried string beans.
代雨村: I had a severe diarrhea after eating there. It I was a pain……
Yimai Peng: Much overpriced and VERY irresponsible service.
Selena Wang: It’s proper North-Eastern Chinese food cooked by your family. I order 小鸡炖蘑菇 and 孜然牛肉. They taste authentic and flavored, but I am a bit concerned that the chefs and owners did not wear their masks all the time. The inside is kinda old and small.
Dylan Lundberg: Authentic Chinese taste. 5 stars all around.
J S: gave me the wrong order. When I asked to bring me the noodles they said I had to order more food to get it. Why do I need to spend more money just to get my correct order.
Holding hands and hugs Are awesome: Great service
AM V: I like the food alright. It’s just the automatic add-on 18% tip is not reasonable.
Michele Rivette: I ordered the eggplant and tofu and it was good, but I had it delivered, and there was NO RICE included with the entree. It was not obvious during ordering. But, what chinese restaurant doesn't include rice with their entrees? Very disappointing. I called and the women on the other end said you have to order it separately. I went back to the Door Dash order and did not see an obvious choice of rice on the side. Also, got the shrimp shumai. Okay, but no dipping sauce. Overall, there are better choices for Chinese food in Ann Arbor.

Of Rice and Men: what do users think?
J Hales: My group of friends went for happy hour (HH) because theirs runs until 7pm, which is nice for after work. The cocktails were very good.It was very confusing what was included in HH. After ordering drinks we thought were on the HH menu, we were charged full price for all the drinks. When we were ready to pay, it took a very long time for the server to bring us the checks and return cards after we paid.If you're looking for a good hangout for happy hour drinks, I would look elsewhere for a place with more straightforward menu pricing and expectations.
Annie Hoffman: The environment and service alone are worthy of a visit. The food and cocktails exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend! Spicy Cod Curry is a must! It's located underneath Blue Llama Jazz club. It's the perfect date night combo.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jenny Christian: Aaaaaaaaamazingly delicious
Jeff Ceo: From the spring rolls, to the sushi, to the peking duck, it was the best Asian food I've ever had!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Nathaniel Steele: I don’t get many date nights with my wife having three kids so with that in mind. Me and my wife went here for dinner around five and had pretty much all of there dumpling choices and duck fried rice, everything was delicious and the duck dumplings were magical. I thought the atmosphere was nice and calming the wait staff were great not to much not to little, it was a bit pricey to me but when it come to good food and everything else I don’t mind the price. This is a place I would go to again.
a c: on april 15 i made a reservation for a special sushi dinner for may 3. today is april 30. 2 days after i made the reservation i called to cancel it citing the possibility of an anaphlactic attack from unknown fish (i have had 2) i explained this to the manager Andy who told me he didn't know how to credit us for the account. i agreed to a gift certificate in the amount of $499.00. He said it would go out that day. I have called innumerable times (more than i can say) and of today we have not received a gift certificate that we no longer want. We want only a credit for all this aggravation and what appears at least, to be putting us off althou I can't imagine why. We were so looking forward to eating here as we are very long term ann arborites but this is absurd. Be very careful when you give this restaurant money and then want to cancel your reservation.
Trananh Tuan: Nhà hàng Châu Á ở Ann Arbor. Món ăn Thái rất ngon, tương tự như ở Bangkok. Nên đến khi có dịp đến Ann Arbor.
Haleh Olsen: Loved the service, the food and the layout of the place. Our dishes were tasty and the presentation was delightful.Dietary restrictions: All the dishes are dairy free
Rachel McWilliams: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Shane Daniel: Beautiful and great for a group or just a couple. The food is great and unique.....A must go to when in Ann Arbor!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Kimchi Fried Rice, Lobster Tom Yum, Grilled Pork Belly, Korean Short Ribs, Tuna Roll Dietary restrictions accommodated Gluten free, Not sure …More
Tedobeledo: Food was a great mix of authentic Asian flavors from all over the continent and new twists for every dish. The cocktails are amazing (ended up trying the whole list via table sharing) definitely something for everyone. Staff was great and super friendly. Food comes as it's ready and is fairly quick.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Grilled Pork Belly, Duck Fried Rice …More
Andy B: The best service you can get in a restaurant that isn't highly formal. The staff are completely on top of things at all times. The service is polite, efficient, relaxed, and highly dependable. I've been in many times and the service is consistently very good. The food is every bit as good as the service. Very good food is not as hard to find as very good service, but this quality of food is in good company. They offer a variety of specially items from all over East Asia, dumplings in particular. I love great Chinese dumplings and these cooks have plenty to be proud of. While their dumplings are not the most recognizable standards of the dim sum carts in North America, they are nonetheless deliciously rich, subtle, complex, and delicate. The dumplings, and the rest of the menu items, aren't really hearty cold weather fare. They're more elegant, refined, and light. It's a basement restaurant that's cozy and warm, and offers light, palate pleasing entrees that won't leave you feeling heavy. In the Winter of 2023 they've added new things to the menu. The food is very consistent, elegant, innovative, and accessible. I had some sushi rolls that were unlike anything I've had before and they were all things I'd be happy to get again. They're a very reliable place to go for high quality, Asian inspired, upscale dining, in casual yet elegant surroundings.Parking: Street parking is metered but only until 6pm. It's hard to find open spaces at meters though, so you may have to walk a few blocks and pay for parking in a lot or structure.
Annie Sloan: They serve foie gras. Google image how it is 'produced.'
Jeania Getty: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Ashlee Wainright: We were disappointed to see that they removed all our favorite dishes from the menu. Also, we had a reservation with a seating request, but we were sat next to the kitchen instead. Which would have been alright if the restaurant wasn't empty... Lastly, I was very disappointed that we were offered clean dishes or new drinks after our initial order. We had hoped to extend our experience with desert and drinks, but we were brought the check instead.
Marissa Yee: Food: 5/5Service: 5/5Overall: 5/5We were lucky to get a reservation on the last day of Ann Arbor Restaurant Week and are glad for the opportunity to enjoy a tasting menu. We enjoyed everything on the menu that included sushi, a pork dumpling, a duck dumpling, veggie spring roll, grilled pork belly, beef teriyaki udon, and yuzu crème brûlée. We ordered a Blue Hawaiian, too, which was very strong. Of Rice and Men is a place I’d recommend trying. The food is flavorful and plated very well. While we won’t be eating here on a weekly basis, this is a place we’d visit again for a special occasion or when we’re hosting friends and family in town and want a nice place for a meal.
Nancy Herlocher: Absolutely gorgeous place. Food was...If I could hide in the kitchen and sneak duck dumplings all day... seriously delicious 😋Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jenny Su: 2 stars from me, extra star for restaurant week tasting menu allowing me to try more dishes. Super Americanize overly sweet and over priced Asian food. I expected to be fusion, but it was not good fusion for me.The pork belly had way too much honey on it, even after scraping most off. Also the pork belly was more than 50% fat, not a cut of meat I would expect from this kind of restaurant. The spicy tuna nigiri was not bad, but average at best.I really like udon in general, and I like how they make it a little spicy, but the sauce is way too thick, making the dish heavy and overly sweet. The beef was ok, but the pork was too dried and the dish would be better off without it.I feel like if a place wants to make dim sum, they should at least mail shu mai and ha gao. Unfortunately the shu mai was so dry and bland, texture was all wrong. Pork was too lean, shrimp was non existing, probably lack egg, oil, and water when mixing the filling.Standard spring roll, can’t go wrong with that. The duck dumping surprised me to be fried dumpling ham sui gok. I get they’re trying to pair duck with the citrusy fruity sauce, but again the sauce was too sweet and a quarter amount of source would be more than sufficient.I’m glad I finally get to try this place out, if it wasn’t for restaurant week, I probably would have never tried it. It is just not for me and I will not be returning. I used to love the restaurant that was here before Of Rice & Men.
Tracey Wormsbacher: If you're looking for a unique asian food experience you have to try Of Mice and Men!Where should I start? Our server Coy was on point.Extensive adult beverage menu is well balanced. But the food!!!The highlights were the duck dumplings and the pineapple, ham and shrimp fried rice. What a presentation! It came in a pineapple cookie jar!And my favorite tuna on rice cakes with this sauce that was delicious. This is not a place to skip dessert! I will be ordering the banana tart every time!

Asian Legend: what do users think?
Danny Chen: Automatically put 18% gratuity without any service at all. And the portion of food is disappointing.
Hsuan-Hsueh Huang: Pepper Salt Pork Chop is so gooood!
Gopal Shrestha: Food: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Andres Martinez: Fantastic find, u can't go wrong here !!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Scallion Pancakes, Jasmine Tea, Mongolian Beef, Crispy Shrimp Roll 虾卷 …More
Tonya: Recommend minced pork rice and salt pepper chicken. They should be pretty authentic. The stinky tofu was not what I expected. It’s so hard and dry both inside and outside and it doesn’t have much stinky taste. I don’t know why it’s more expensive than the other two items.I like that they provided hot teaEnded up paying 40 dollars for these three dishes incl. tax and service fee.
Frau Bischof: Restaurante pequeno, comida muito boa, atendimento rápido e pessoal e simpático.Kid-friendliness: Eu estava com crianças e correu tudo bem
Clayton Blackwell: Fantastic food and great service
Tyler Campbell: Use caution: posted hours don’t reflect actual work ethic. We were told only take out available at 8:20 on a Friday evening.
Zhiyuan Sun: Honestly not happy with their 18% default tip given their bad service
Laura: Generally authentic Chinese food but with more black pepper flavour. Like the tea
rex: Excellent experience. Went in for Chinese New Year and it was relatively packed but I came in with a party of 2 and was seated immediately. There is an extensive paper menu with many specialty dishes. The only gripe I had was that there were no pictures so it was hard to tell what exactly some dishes were without a picture or description. The waitress, however, suggested the Chicken w/ Basil and the Spicy Fish Filet w/ Mustard Green & Tofu; they were excellent picks. The chicken was incredibly flavorful and the basil added a distinctive flavor to it that paired really well. The fish didn't really have a kick to it, but it tasted flavorful. (I wasn't looking for a very spicy dish in the first place). We both got a complimentary bowl of rice to pair with these entrees. Also ordered the Chinese Watercress w/Garlic but the kitchen was out of watercress though pea tips as a substitute were still good. One of the better Asian dining experiences in downtown Ann Arbor for sure. The dishes were a bit pricey but the two of us were full and there were some leftovers by the end of our meal. Will definitely visit again and try out their other entrees!
Aaron Salsitz: OMG 😱 - As a (Ann Arbor) townie, I wish I had known about this place a long time ago. Great Szechuan is a dream! Asian Legend is my new favorite 😍. Our friends Blake and Jinghan said Asian Legend was superior and we should go there. Everything we had was incredible. We will definitely return! The oyster and mustard green soup was really light and fishy… like an ocean breeze tastes. The oysters were tender and flavorful. Normally, this would NOT be in my wife’s radar, however, she loved it.The Szechuan fish was ordered spicy hot 🌶️ and it was perfect - hot enough to satisfy, but not so hot to kill the flavor of everything else! The fish was tasty and cabbage was not over or under done. I certainly noticed the sauce had broad beans… genuine Szechuan flavor and freaking delicious. The Wuxi ribs were so tender and very tasty and flavorful. There was no obnoxious fat on the ribs and the meat was absolutely tender but not at all mushy. All in all… I am super pleased to get quality Szechuan and Taiwanese food in Ann Arbor and not have to drive to Lansing ❤️.Onze avondeten was super lekker 🤤
Leka Shameti: Shrimps are so-so.The Taiwanese/beef noodle Soup I do not reccomend It was not good. The egg drop soup was as good as it has the fame for.All-in-all not really as much of a "legend".Food: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Maulshree Sinha: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Joy Q: No greeting or service at all. 20% tips was automatically added to the bill. Probably they've already known people aren't willing to pay 20% for such bad services thats why they charged customers first without asking. I was trying to use a different credit card to pay the bill and it was too much trouble for them to take another credit card even before they swiped the card. They lied to me that they've swiped card already, and I saw them swiping the card after they turned me down. Simply did not allow me to use a different credit card. That is ridiculous! Can't believe a dishonest restaurant without service can still survive in downtown. Will never return.
Ray Bas: Taiwanese cooking style. Food is savory and sweet not spicy like other chinese style.
Zhengyi Huang: sooo terrible!! Please avoid!
joseph nusbaum: Great little place. Friendly staff. The food was amazing. I actually ordered a second helping to take back to the hotel.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lance Blake: $14 for a few pieces of beef? Please don’t insult spicy chili beef. Just don’t make any Szechuan cuisine.

P.F. Chang's: what do users think?
Jamie M: Our Server was great! She was very attentive. Our food was hot. The atmosphere was good. The crispy green beans were a bit greasy, but our main issue was the portion sizes. At 8pm, our entrées looked like lunch portions. We brought that to the manager's attention, but was told it was accurate. For that reason, I highly doubt we will visit this location again. We regularly eat at PF Chang's, but this was our first time at this location.
Gwenetta Artis: Recommended dishes Orange Chicken & Shrimp Fried Rice, Pork Egg Roll, California Roll, Chang's Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps, Mongolian Beef, Sesame Chicken, Dynamite Shrimp, Pepper SteakMore
Bryan Fowler: Food was hot and tasty. Nice spice but not over the top. One of the few restaurants I’ve found that has Zero Sugar Coke.Recommended dishes Mongolian Beef, Spicy Tuna Roll …More
Shannon Landreville: PF changs is my favorite place to eat, and this location is nothing short of an amazing experience. Nate was wonderful and so was the rest of the staff. I will definitely be back 😊
kourtni talley: Nique was amazing today! She made my quick birthday lunch so nice.
Sherry M: The restaurant needs to be cleaner. The ground at the front entrance has dried bird droppings everywhere. The first table we sat at had long blonde hair all over the table. The second table had a few strands of hair. Had I been alone I would have left. The food was ok; not hot. The rib appetizer had a delicious sauce on it but absolutely no meat on the bones. This was not a very good experience for me considering how much we spent. However we did have a good waiter.
Rahim Charania: Good serviceFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mongolian Beef …More
Dawnyelle Coure: Cierra is absolutely great!!! She made a drink for me that was phenomenal !!!! It actually needs to be added to the menu!!! Great asset to the company !!!!
jeff zimmerman: Food was delicious. The honey crispy shrimp is fantastic and I would recommend it.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
Carter Starr (Carter Starr): Only point is because my first date was here 2 years ago- otherwise, most recently, the food was extremely subpar-worse than the Panda Express located down the hall. Prices are high, service is average. You can get much better elsewhere. DONT GET THE CALAMARI.
Sierra clark: I went for the first time for a late lunch and wasn’t that impressed with the food. Everyone said it was amazing but it tasted like the regular Chinese takeout that I’m able to get at almost half the price. I got the wok spicy chicken bowl and I was expecting a lot more since it said fire roasted but I felt the portion could have had more chicken and instead of fluffy rice have a little crisp to the rice so I felt like I was eating better quality Chinese. Other than that my server was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was good during the between lunch and dinner hours.
Michael Hanley: Thanks Rob for excellent service on Mother’s Day with our large family. Appreciate it!
Kylie Koch: Service was amazing! Our server Cierra was very helpful and attentive towards us. She helped with menu and drink recommendations! Overall recommended 10/10
Leah Hawkins: Food was great and our server cierra was phenomenal! Super friendly and and on top of everything (:

Shelby Lynch: Great food and great service! Really enjoyed our waitress Cierra’s kind hospitality!
Kayla Mangas: Cierra was awesome! Stellar service 👏🏼
Kaylin Stinson: Food tasted great and Cierra was fantastic :) definitely coming back
T J: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
brenda Sanderson: This used to be one of my favorite places. However. This past year I have been disappointed in the quality of the food, the staff and cleanness. We used to stop by at lunch and sit at the bar. The past few times the bar was dirty. Had to ask for a cloth to clean my own area. Bar staff did nothing to clean the rest of the bar area. Too busy chatting or on her phone. Prices of food have increased, while quality decreased. And why do they charge $5.50 for a 12 ounce bottle of domestic beer? The ladies restroom has had the same stall "Temporarily Out Of Order" for the last year. Nope. Not going back. 😕

TK WU Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Justin K: What a classic! This place, family run, is an awesome place in my opinion. Their options come with their own twist of traditional taste and prep. Their General Tao comes out smacking with spice and had just the right amount of crunch. Absolutely loved it. Soup was delicious and the crab Rangoon was great. The portions as displayed are also phenomenal. It’s ok to leave with a to-go box. Space is tight, clean and priced appropriately.

Panda Chinese & Korean Food: what do users think?
K Brandt: The food is excellent. You really can’t order takeout because they don’t answer the phone. That’s why they are getting 3 stars.
Kyle Keener: Food was amazing and the guy working there was extremely friendly and funny. Might have to make this a regular place to goFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pork Bulgogi, Jjajangmyeon …More
Matt: I laught when I saw so many 1-star review complaining about the service. Yes this is a very unique restaurant with a distinctive owner. Don't expect any service, but you can definitely expect the best food. If the owner feels there are too many customers, he may even randomly close the shop earlier, like 6:30pm kind of earlier. One of the best restaurants in Ann Arbor area.
L WW: Best Jjamppong in the area! Love this local restaurant. Our favorite is their Jiamppong, Jajangmyeon, Bulgogi, and seafood pancake (must!). However, the owner is planning to retire this June 😞 will miss this place for sure.Recommended dishes Spicy Pork, Pork Bulgogi, Chicken Bulgogi, Soft Tofu Stew, Seafood Pancake, Spicy Pork and Beef Bulgogi, Fried Dumpling, Korean Seafood Pancake, Champon, Jjajangmyeon, Bibimbob …More
Anaiby Ruiz: Excelente comida. Muy exquisita
Pash _: Without question the best meal I have ever had. I don't live in the area, so now I have been in a constant search for a meal even half as delicious and filling. The service was quick and kind as well, a lovely couple!
Robin Freysinger: This place is fantastic -the Bibimbob is the best and they are so nice and friendly- don’t let the store front fool you - it’s truly a sparkling gem
HR JDPower: If you want good customer service, don’t come. The food is really good!!!Recommended dishes Korean Seafood Pancake …More

Kasper: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Human K: The worst service that I've ever experienced in my life. The server is a middle aged Korean guy but he has PMS. Sometimes he smiles, sometimes he yells, and sometimes he completely ignores any presence around him. If you want to ride on his emotional roller coaster, go for it. You'll find yourself having a digestive problem. Oh, I just realized that there's no zero star option, so here's a one star which is too good for you!
Anselmo Lechuga: rubbish place I went during my lunch hour to buy something to eat and the person who was there told me you come to pick up an order I told him I'm not going to order or take away and he says no now you can't order I'm busy what kind of service is that i don't recommend stupid korean placeService: 1/5 …More
김연경: omg♡ i really love ❤️ yummy
Jenny Su: I love their jajangmyeon and tang su yuk. But they were very busy during Friday lunch, so it took an hour to get our food. And I came all the way here for dinner, and they’re closed an hour early without any notice. Take out is probably the way to go with this place.Recommended dishes Jjajangmyeon, Sweet and Sour Pork …More
Brandon: Can't rate the taste cause I have never been served while I was standing at entrance. At least I was deserved to hear say hello from owner, but he never did.
John Lee: You won't find more authentic Jjajangmyun and Jjamppong. Delicious food and good service
Jun Oh: Excellent noodle

Chia Shiang Restaurant: what do users think?
Kamran Diba: Previously this is was an excellent restaurant. However the ownership changed and the quality dropped significantly. The food is not bad, but not quite the authentic Szechuan perfectly spiced dishes as before. They also forgot to give us any rice in our take-out order, so not very good attention to detail.
DD Chen: They have some authentic Shanghai food, which are not on the menu, your have ask for itFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Sizzling Tofu Vegan, Shrimp Lo Mein, Chicken Lo Mein, Vegan Orange Beef …More
Aidar Utiamishev: Worst place to goUpdate: the owner replied that I’m a scam, but I’m not 😄 their dining area is still closed, I had a puck up and food was awful 😣Recommended dishes Fried Rice, Pot, Orange Chicken, Spicy Chicken …More
Jae Eun: Amazing food! Best chinese I had in Ann Arbor. I had the pork intestine hot pot
Kim Kim: The owner of the restaurant claimed that he is going to kill/abandon his dog. Do not come here!!!!
Jennifer Blacke: Chia Shiang did an amazing job with our large catering order yesterday. They were super helpful when I placed the order a couple weeks ago, taking the time to help me select dishes and figure out how much to get for our crowd of ten. All the food was ready on time and they helped me load it into the car. And it was so good! Truly delicious. Everyone loved it, especially the zucchini stir fry with egg.
Zhen Zhang: Very tasty and I will be back
Wild style Lin: It’s very sad that he claimed the previous owner(Mr. Pang) learned cooking on YouTube, but cooked way better than the “pro cooking school” current chef. And the owner doesn’t want to believe it even though everyone said “the old Chia Shiang” is gone. If you cannot carry the name and reputation of Chia Shiang, please just change the name you are insulting it, which an “you-called amateur” chef have built.
Dean Kung: Take out only so far. Tufu with crab was excellent as always.
Vincent Chang: Delicious, I usually order for delivery, sometimes Chowbus is busy and I pick up the food instead. Always good and will be back.
thomas ganley: Best chinese restaurant in Ann Arbor, by far.
Dan Negrin: This used to be a good restaurant. Alas, no longer. Out of the three dishes in our take out order, one was barely edible and two were just nasty. Especially disappointed with the Sichuan boiled beef which was truly foul.Never. Going. Back.
Yawei Chen: 椒麻鸡不错,老板也很nice
Wendy Tang: My always go-to place for spicy Chinese food!! Very authentic
T Brown: Customer service was excellent food was so delicious and fresh I ordered the. Chicken Lo mein I will definitely order from this restaurant again!!
Jarred Howard: Vegetarians or vegans stay clear. They don't know and don't care about meat broth in their sauces (typical for a lot of recipes); seems to be a don't ask, don't tell policy for that.EDIT: There you have it, straight from the owner. Small businesses can't cater to everyone so there are other options if you don't wanna eat animals in Ann Arbor. I'm sure the menu is lovely if you don't care about that.
Nicky Ja: Food was very greasy and staff was very rude, bad experience.
Robin: Trop de huile! Il n’y a pas de carrots dans la 鱼香肉丝 .
Edward Yao: Very very real and delicious Chinese food. The Food makes me emotional
Shirley Chen: If you enjoy spicy food, I highly recommend the Xinjiang style spicy chicken and spicy shrimp in hot pot. Yum.The portions are more than generous. I ordered 4 dishes and they can easily feed 8 adults. This is not the typical Americanized Chinese restaurant. People recognize that and celebrate the uniqueness. That’s something I love about Ann Arbor.
Xiu Zhou: Had take out last night, food is delicious.

Tomukun Noodle Bar: what do users think?
Cooper Wang: I ordered a Pho Deluxe. But the meatballs in the pho tasted terrible. Some meatballs tasted sour, and some were cold, which obviously had stayed in the refrigerator for a very long time. I asked the waiters to have a new one. But the new one also tasted even worse. The meatballs were still sour and cold. And I even found A PLASTIC FLAKE IN THE SOUP! I’ve never had a pho like this. If you are looking for pho in Ann Arbor, I will never recommend you to come here.
Gursimran Bedi: We ordered Tomukun ramen and chicken pho. Both tasted amazing but I do not encourage to share as they have very different tastes. There was a wait of about 30-40 min. The seating I felt was a bit crowded but the food was superb!!Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Pho Deluxe, Tomukun Ramen …More
Dana K: disgusting. chicken was old and chewy. on top of that they charged us for it to
Max Monegan: The food was very good. Service was fast, but pretty impersonal despite it not being busy and sitting at the bar. Not a place to take your time.Vegetarian options: Several good veggie options availableParking: Street parking downtown
Farah Rieker: Delicious Korean bbq dinner with family.Recommended dishes Dumplings, BBQ …More
maria wong: Hot Soup Noodle on a cold windy weekend after the farmer’s market. The meat are tender but firm and portion is good for adult.Price is reasonable and friendly service.for me an Asian the taste wise is 60% satisfying as i felt its too sweet for me.
A: Great food, good service!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Arwen Guzman: The dumplings and the spring rolls are to die for 😩😩😩 and so is the spicy seafood ramen 😩😩😩 so good 10/10 recommend im from Wisconsin and personally nothing back in my hometown can beat this meal 😩😩😩
Dolly D: Very big portions, and healthy/gluten free options. Highly recommend for anyone with allergies or food lovers in general.
L WW: Great place for noodle soup 🍜This place is very popular at downtown Ann Arbor, make sure you come early to avoid the line!Recommended dishes Pho Deluxe …More
Melissa Lehmann: THE BEST PHO I HAVE EVER HAD, ANYWHERE!!! The broth had so much depth and flavor… all of the ingredients were so fresh. Ugh, it was amazing. I can’t wait to go back! It was PHENOMENAL! 10/10!!!!!
Ami Alger: I always want to go there. So many great options around, but this is always what I wantFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pho Deluxe, Duck Ramen with Pork Belly Added in a Pork Broth, Kimchi Ramen, Tomukun Ramen …More
Louise Dryden: Ok food
Miss Huntress: Very unique experience! Great open atmosphere. The staff was patient ( we had a large party) in explaining how the process went. We went with a combo. You do cook your own food so how fast you eat is up to the best cook at the table! Meat was great quality and tender. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something different.
Sla La: It was packed. I loved my pho soup. My partner found few fruit flies in his spicy chicken ramen. We didn't complain, we just left.Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kathryn Markolf: Delish!
Francine Whu Muhammad: This 1 star review is dedicated to the monstrosity that was their vegetarian noodle soup (the off menu vegetarian noodle soup option because they have no vegetarian options besides edamame). They claimed it was a miso soup but it had little to no miso taste. My husband added a lot of vegetables to it and it was all soaked in this sour, tasteless broth. It was the worst noodle soup we have ever had. Noodle soup is the most comforting food group in the world and yet they managed to make it taste literally disgusting. For gods sake, make a real miso broth, soak some dried shitake mushrooms in it to give it a good umami base.My non Asian husband told me this was the first time he went to an Asian noodle place and had it be disgusting. Do you hear that? This udon dish was so bad it was gross even to a non Asian person and they are so easy to impress when it comes to noodles. Also it's 2023 people, in Ann Arbor, even burger King has vegetarian options. The other two noodle dishes were very very mediocre. I am the queen of leftovers and I didn't even take mine home.Staff was nice though so shout out to them. Unfortunately we will never be back.
De'Vona Robinson: I had Dumplings and Duck Roman. Delicious! I will definitely be back.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Dumplings …More
Jacqueline Brown: I always get the creamy pork ramen which is amazing!Recommended dishes Tomukun Ramen …More
Max Mcdonald: When we arrived we were able to get a table quickly which was nice. Our server Aaron K did not great us at all she started with what do you want to drink. In fact the only reason we knew her name was because it was on the receipt. We ordered 4 appetizers 3 entrees 1 bottle of sake and 1 beer. By the time our entrees arrived the table was so cluttered you couldn’t see the table. not a single plate was taken the entire time. Our server seemed to care more about talking to her friends at the bar than doing her job. The one thing she did was fill our waters … once. I’ve been in the service industry 9 years a manager for 2 years. In any restaurant I’ve ever worked in this would be wildly unacceptable. Hopefully this can help in the training of your staff because this experience is exactly what you should not do in the service industry. We had high hopes for this restaurant and they were unfortunately demolished by poor service. We will not be returning to this restaurant. There are many better options with better service.Dietary restrictions: Aaron K had a complete disregard for the shellfish allergy at our table. When notified about the allergy before ordering she did absolutely nothing to communicate it to the kitchen or food runner. When our apps came out we asked the food runner if any allergy notifications were on the ticket. He said there was not. Proceeded to tell us that there is no shellfish in the restaurant. There is clearly shrimp on the menu. This lack of care for a severe allergy is concerning at least and dangerous at most!
