Mark Place: I highly recommend these guys. Communication was clear and thorough, the level of service was excellent.Brian (not the owner) was super helpful clearing out some error codes on my Mercedes diesel. He even refused payment. He saved our vacation!
Ben Burr: On a road trip through Michigan our brake caliper locked. We got towed to Stadium Auto Service that evening and were treated very well the next day. Christopher Xiao: This is the place to go for German car repairs. I had a little accident from driving in the snow and needed to find a reputable shop. The people here are extremely welcoming, experienced, and thorough in their due diligence. They take photos of everything during the initial inspection and send you an electronic record so that you are fully aware and involved in any decisions. Prices for this level of service are not the priority, but for those who care they are very reasonable and certainly more affordable than the dealer. I give my highest recommendations.
Karen Godwin: I can't say enough about how awesome this team is! My car had standing water under the carpet of the passenger side cabin, soaking all of the foam and creating risk in the subfloor electrical electrical system. They had to pull out the seat and the carpet to make sure we could dry the car properly. They were creative, friendly and efficient - They worked out a great solution that I could afford. They have won my trust and all of my future business. I highly recommend them! I wish I found them years ago.

Michael: I give them a 5 star on every thing they did. The boss is very nice, two mechanics are super knowledgeable. They help me a lot by giving me a free quick check on my car, and point out the real problem instead of me saying what's the problem is and save me the money. Very very nice place to recommend if your car has some issue and let them fix it.

Today I pulled in for an oil change and they noticed some unsafe issue and suggested me to repair it asap.. I am grateful for them because I could have been injured or killed riding the way I was riding.. And the cost is always less than what I am thinking in my head.. Nathan Truchan: I have been taking my vehicles to Packard Auto for the past 8 years. They are always friendly and helpful. They do excellent work at a fair price. On a number of occasions they have said this is what you need to get done to make the car safe to drive and said they are other things you can do but aren't necessary. I really appreciate that type of service because it lets me choose what I want to get done and how much I need to spend. I can't recommend Packard Auto enough.
Molly Stamos: Buyers beware! I got the following quote from PAR and because it was a very expensive quote of $3849.41 I decided to save some $ and take it to my brother’s auto shop in Farmington Hills. This is really inconvenient for me but given the price was well worth th drive in. He is a very reputable and has had a garage for 30 + years. He charges me 200.84. You can see the attached quotes and exactly what my brothers recommendations were to stop the noise my car was making. I went back into PAR to show them my car was fixed for $200 saving me a grand total of $3826.57. They stood by their original quote. Wow! Take what you will from this. Peace.

From the inquiry phone call I made until the end of business between us, they were absolutely stellar. Upon inspection, I got a detailed inspection report complete with 34 detailed pictures pin-pointing everything they found on the vehicle. Mary Lynne Foster: We were facing an hour long drive home when we noticed the car seemed to be leaking. We called Hoover Street Auto Repair, and despite being very busy, they said they could check the fluid levels and top up if necessary. Their technician, Tom , came out right away, checked the fluids, identified the leak, topped it up, and assured us we would get home safely. They refused our offer of payment. Kim Wehrmeister: Hoover St diagnosed my headlights not working as a corroded relay in the battery junction box. The repair was done within a week, delayed only due to obtaining a part on a 10-year old car from out of state. They also reconnected a loose heat shield on the underside of the car. Shortly after the repair, I receive a notification from Ford Motor that there was a national recall on the battery junction box for the exact repair I'd just had completed with Hoover. The recall stated that they would refund any previous repairs provided a detailed receipt was provided. I contacted Hoover St and told them about the recall, and asked if they could add additional details, just to be sure Ford would cover it. They added a lot of very detailed notes to the invoice and emailed it to me so I wouldn't have to pick it up. They didn't have to do that for me, but they went above and beyond. This was my first visit to Hoover St, also, so it's not like I was a consistent customer. Gabriella Ring: I took my Ford Focus here for the first time after experiencing a really bad, grinding sound with my brakes for almost two weeks. Ann Scott: I have used this business for several years with several different cars. I took my car in for a simple oil change. I was told I needed a brake job even though I had yet to hear any brake noises. I was quoted $500 over the phone for “the brake job”. At the end I was charged for $940 for oil change and brake job. From the quote I was given over the phone I expected $600 at most. I’m just presenting facts here but I can’t help but to feel lied to. tom Rudnicki: They've brought my late fathers truck back to life not a project i wantd to take on and am super happy I took it here. This shop has done an excellent job and make things really easy for their customers . You don't find businesses like this anymore they're all about caring for their customers always showing me what's wrong withmy truck and never is their a question of quality. Talk about hard working people this is a great shop.

The mechanics are top notch, efficient and they are experts in their field. They always give me an honest, fair, estimate and let me know what I need to have repaired for my safety. D Y: Driving in the snow past winter did a number on my car and I had to get a control arm and ball joint replaced bc of a noise I heard when turning. The car was fixed and after a couple weeks I heard some noise again. Took it back to the shop and they got me in first thing the next morning with a free complimentary rental car. The work they did to fix the issue was covered under warranty and everything was done free of charge!These guys are knowledgeable and experienced and they take care of you as a valued customer. Lopaka St: Only 1 star, since the owner ASSUMED I called and was quoted a price, but actually received the estimate from his "Master Mechanic"... I went elsewhere (MDP Repair near Jackson see cost difference below).I was in the area and seen the reviews, stopped for a steering issue and quoted $500 for the repair. Went to my normal shop and the issue was not the pump itself but a sensor. Spent $190 including the diagnostic and got a free loaner car at MDP Repair.I left a simple review first and the owner replied with what he assumed I did, never reached out to me. With that reply I chose to elaborate and include the cost difference. It's very clear this place is not as organized, communicative or as "fair priced" as they portray. Go somewhere you can trust to diagnose and fix the problem that's actually needed, not someplace they think they know everything. Looking through the owners replies it's pretty clear he thinks very highly of himself.

S Parker: Over priced and Now the owner john is telling me, I never been inside the shop to buy 4 tires that was 1200 and something. I went to the other tire shops in that same location and got 4 tires for 600 dollars and was a better brand. 2 women sit at the front desk. The siting area is cluttered as well. My Audi desperately needed an alignment and possibly more front end work from the evidence of wear and tear on my front tires. I was welcomed and quickly scheduled over the phone for the same day. Upon arrival, the owner, John, generously explained the entire process; what they were going to look for, and the cost I should expect. This was unlike any other customer service I had received before at other auto shops. When they found my tie rod was bent and causing my issues, they called me and explained everything. Colleen Kloor: After paying the $135 diagnosis fee, I received a quote of almost $900 for the repair. Two other auto shops in Ann Arbor quoted the same repair at $425 and $450 respectively. I'm extremely disappointed to lose $135 since I was already aware of the problem they found. The money is down the drain since I certainly won't be using them for the repair because they are more than double the price of other businesses. Really regret having stopped by. I wish I would have read all the negative reviews sooner,because I certainly would have avoided this place all together.

Nate Berent-Spillson: AC wasn’t working. The did a systematic troubleshooting and communicated all along the way. It ended up being the compressor, so not cheap to fix but the air is icy cold now!

Eric Osborn: Convenience Auto SAVED MY CAR. The dealership told us we needed a new head gasket for my 2005 Toyota Corolla. Cost? Almost $4,000. We were not going to pay that for an 18-year-old car so we immediately began car shopping. Still, something nagged at me. The dealership had seemed sketchy and my experience thus far hadn’t been the best. Was it worth getting a second quote?I decided to give it a try. I found Convenience Auto and read their great reviews. I called them to ask for a quote on a new head gasket. Surprisingly, they told me that often the dealer misdiagnoses the oil leak and they’d rather take a look first. They did look, TWICE, and confirmed that is was not the head gasket that was leaking oil, but a different part that the dealership had “repaired” months earlier! If I hadn't call them, our car would be gone!Throughout the process Justin and Garrett were outstanding. Answering my thousand questions patiently, shuttling me back and forth from home while they repaired the car, and generally being amazing! Everything they did was to steer us towards less expensive options that were better for the car and better for us.This is customer service at its finest and the car has run great ever since. If I had followed the dealership, our car would probably be gone forever but instead, we’re driving it every day and loving not having a monthly auto loan. Thank you guys! I asked if they looked at the timing belt as I suggested - as it was just replaced - and they said no. Took me 5 minutes to see that the timing belt was broken. For me, this wasn't an issue but could be for someone with a tight schedule. They maintain several means of contact so there's no issue getting a hold of anyone for anything you need.They diagnosed and performed the work, even held the vehicle for me so I could get a proper window to pick up my car. My only gripe is the cost of the work and I'm not even showing how much they would've charged for brakes and rotors.Most often, inspections are included with services performed when all repairs are made on a vehicle. That has been my experience in the past but the inspection charges here were not waved which elevated the final cost.Great people and great service but if you can get it done for cheaper, I advise you take that route with your vehicle.

I initially came here to get the bumper on my roommate's car replaced. He offered to do it for 25% less than an estimate I had from another shop. He was patient with me and transparent through the whole process! They did great work and had it done quickly. But that's not all... I recently bought my own used car and somehow accidentally engaged the parking brake. I spent a long time and several Google searches trying to figure out how to fix it, but the "parking brake" light and beeping would not stop. I drove over to the shop, and Abe immediately fixed it for me and taught me how to disengage the brake on my own if it happens again. And THEN when he saw on my dashboard that my tire pressure was low, he had someone fill all my tires for me! Didn't charge me anything; was just happy to help. They treat their customers like family! I'll definitely go back to Broadway Auto when I need anything else for my car.

Trevor Scott: I had a WONDERFUL experience here, and I plan on coming back for any future work on my Hyundai.Before coming here, I had taken my car to a dealer with an axle issue. The dealer quoted a price of several thousand dollars and took over two weeks to make repairs that didn’t even fix the main issue. I then came to Japanese Auto, and they took less than a day to identify and fix the issue, and charged a fraction of the price. The people who fixed my car were honest and friendly, and gave me several suggestions on future maintenance for my car. I wish I had found this place sooner!!
