From the inquiry phone call I made until the end of business between us, they were absolutely stellar. Upon inspection, I got a detailed inspection report complete with 34 detailed pictures pin-pointing everything they found on the vehicle. I have NEVER got this complete of a report from a auto shop.I don't think I have ever dealt with a more genuine, customer service driven auto shop. Mary Lynne Foster: We were facing an hour long drive home when we noticed the car seemed to be leaking. We called Hoover Street Auto Repair, and despite being very busy, they said they could check the fluid levels and top up if necessary. Their technician, Tom , came out right away, checked the fluids, identified the leak, topped it up, and assured us we would get home safely. They refused our offer of payment. Kim Wehrmeister: Hoover St diagnosed my headlights not working as a corroded relay in the battery junction box. The repair was done within a week, delayed only due to obtaining a part on a 10-year old car from out of state. They also reconnected a loose heat shield on the underside of the car. Shortly after the repair, I receive a notification from Ford Motor that there was a national recall on the battery junction box for the exact repair I'd just had completed with Hoover. The recall stated that they would refund any previous repairs provided a detailed receipt was provided. I contacted Hoover St and told them about the recall, and asked if they could add additional details, just to be sure Ford would cover it. They added a lot of very detailed notes to the invoice and emailed it to me so I wouldn't have to pick it up. They didn't have to do that for me, but they went above and beyond. This was my first visit to Hoover St, also, so it's not like I was a consistent customer. Gabriella Ring: I took my Ford Focus here for the first time after experiencing a really bad, grinding sound with my brakes for almost two weeks. I dropped off my car in the morning and it was available by the end of the day which was much appreciated! The guys at the counter answered all my questions. Michael: I give them a 5 star on every thing they did. The boss is very nice, two mechanics are super knowledgeable. They help me a lot by giving me a free quick check on my car, and point out the real problem instead of me saying what's the problem is and save me the money. Very very nice place to recommend if your car has some issue and let them fix it.

Nathan Truchan: I have been taking my vehicles to Packard Auto for the past 8 years. They are always friendly and helpful. They do excellent work at a fair price. On a number of occasions they have said this is what you need to get done to make the car safe to drive and said they are other things you can do but aren't necessary. I really appreciate that type of service because it lets me choose what I want to get done and how much I need to spend. I can't recommend Packard Auto enough.

I got the following quote from PAR and because it was a very expensive quote of $3849.41 I decided to save some $ and take it to my brother’s auto shop in Farmington Hills. This is really inconvenient for me but given the price was well worth th drive in. He is a very reputable and has had a garage for 30 + years. He charges me 200.84. You can see the attached quotes and exactly what my brothers recommendations were to stop the noise my car was making. I went back into PAR to show them my car was fixed for $200 saving me a grand total of $3826.57. They stood by their original quote. Wow! Take what you will from this. Peace.

Christopher Xiao: This is the place to go for German car repairs. I had a little accident from driving in the snow and needed to find a reputable shop. The people here are extremely welcoming, experienced, and thorough in their due diligence. They take photos of everything during the initial inspection and send you an electronic record so that you are fully aware and involved in any decisions. Prices for this level of service are not the priority, but for those who care they are very reasonable and certainly more affordable than the dealer. I give my highest recommendations.
Karen Godwin: I can't say enough about how awesome this team is! My car had standing water under the carpet of the passenger side cabin, soaking all of the foam and creating risk in the subfloor electrical electrical system. They had to pull out the seat and the carpet to make sure we could dry the car properly. They were creative, friendly and efficient - They worked out a great solution that I could afford. They have won my trust and all of my future business. I highly recommend them! I wish I found them years ago.

doc fitness: The team at Arbor Motion are awesome! I had my Volvo C 30 towed in for a mechanical repair. They kept me up to date throughout the entire process. Akshay Bhardwaj: The owner was rude and unprofessional. I asked for a price quote on a simple repair which apparently he could not do for several reasons. Instead of simply saying 'NO', he started talking about how I needed to go somewhere else since doing this repair could "make him look bad" as it could affect other parts of the car. At the end of his diatribe, he added he is not available for repairs for 20 days. Just say no if you are not interested/available to do a repair and spare us a lecture.

D Y: Driving in the snow past winter did a number on my car and I had to get a control arm and ball joint replaced bc of a noise I heard when turning. The car was fixed and after a couple weeks I heard some noise again. Took it back to the shop and they got me in first thing the next morning with a free complimentary rental car. The work they did to fix the issue was covered under warranty and everything was done free of charge!These guys are knowledgeable and experienced and they take care of you as a valued customer. Lopaka St: Only 1 star, since the owner ASSUMED I called and was quoted a price, but actually received the estimate from his "Master Mechanic"... I went elsewhere (MDP Repair near Jackson see cost difference below).I was in the area and seen the reviews, stopped for a steering issue and quoted $500 for the repair. Went to my normal shop and the issue was not the pump itself but a sensor. Spent $190 including the diagnostic and got a free loaner car at MDP Repair.I left a simple review first and the owner replied with what he assumed I did, never reached out to me. With that reply I chose to elaborate and include the cost difference. It's very clear this place is not as organized, communicative or as "fair priced" as they portray. Go somewhere you can trust to diagnose and fix the problem that's actually needed, not someplace they think they know everything. Looking through the owners replies it's pretty clear he thinks very highly of himself.

My Audi desperately needed an alignment and possibly more front end work from the evidence of wear and tear on my front tires. I was welcomed and quickly scheduled over the phone for the same day. Upon arrival, the owner, John, generously explained the entire process; what they were going to look for, and the cost I should expect. This was unlike any other customer service I had received before at other auto shops. When they found my tie rod was bent and causing my issues, they called me and explained everything. When I returned, same day, I was shown the bent tie rod and again explained to what to look out for and why this was causing me issues. I know the part is $110 after taxes and when I asked how much they were charging for part he could not give an answer and responded "it'll be $700 parts and labor." Called around and just about anywhere else was cheaper and polite staff. Not sure if employee I spoke to even researched it because he did not sound sure and could not give me answers of breakdown of price.
