Yoon's Bakery: what do users think?
Li Algernon: Stopped here many times for their delicious bread. Staff I’ve talked to have always been friendly. Recommend the mocha bun and castella cake for breads that are soft and not too sweet.
Brittany Hammond: Sooo yummy! Light and fluffy slightly sweet desserts and also more rich chocolatey ones. A favorite spot of ours!
Brandon Finn: This is the best bakery in Ann Arbor
Minkyu Choi: Best Korean breads
Harry Zhen: Yoon's bakery is a small hidden bakery located near North Campus of U of M. They sell a variety of different Korean/Asian influenced baked goods. Unlike many western baked goods, Yoon's bakery baked goods are not overly sweet, and the breads are soft and light. There is a variety of different options and flavors that is unique to Korean and Asian bakeries. It's a great place to stop by to pick up a snack or even to grab something for breakfast. The soboro ppang and sweet potato cream bun are some of my favorites. Being located in Ann Arbor is nice since many Korean and Asian bakeries are located on the east side of the state.
madhur agarwal: Just picked up 4 amazing bread and dessert , fresh and very delicious. We live right around the corner and this was our first time. Thank you
Jayoko mizo: Amazing food! quality and packaging was amazing, good and authentic japanese bread is hard to come by in michigan i’ve found, but this place is so so good!! definitely will be returning
J Reaper: Really tasty and yummy 😋
Avin Vijay: Yoon's the best pastry shop in Ann Arbor. This is a small mom-and-pop style pâtisserie. All of their sweet options including cream buns, custard buns, soboro pastry etc are very delicious and fairly priced. They have a large variety of cakes as well, all baked locally. Some cakes are available only after 2pm.(Doordash may not carry all the available options in store). The savory items could be a hit or miss in my personal experience - but that may purely be due to acquired taste.
Brian Zerfas: A friend told me to check this place out. So good! The staff was very welcoming and there were so many options of baked goods to choose from. I'll need to make a return in the future to try more!
Chris Goosman: Great pastries, and the Korean Garlic Bread is amazing! Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but worth it as a treat. Prices are clearly marked so you don’t accidentally break your budget. The evening I went it was a little busy but the wait wasn’t long to check out. I’d take pictures but my treats didn’t last long enough. 😋
Grace Su Ming: Very cute and yummy spot. There is some seating inside. They have gluten free dessert.
Yidan Zhang: I love the bakery here and the cake was also great not too sweet love them. I wonder when I can find the white toast again because they are so good and whenever I go recently I can’t find them anymore, do you guys stop making them?
Amber Fatima: SOOO GOOD!!!
Kay Fedewa: I'm a big fan of Moose Pastry in Novi, a Japanese bakery, so was excited when Yoons opened. I love how everytime I go there, there is a different selection of pastries to discover! The creme fillings in these pastries is the best I've ever had. Dont overlook the cold case - last time I was there they had SMOKED CHEESECAKE! Some reviewers complain about the price. You can't just get treats things like this anywhere, and in my view, this is someone's Art you're eating. Every pastry feels like experiencing a masterpiece. You can taste that the baker makes each one with great care. It is worth every cent.My favorite thing is to do the trifecta of dining at Evergreen next door, then picking up pastries at Yoons for dessert, then going to One Way market one door down for some groceries.
Viviane Shammas: Terrific selection of baked goods, all with ingredients posted, many individually wrapped. Breads, sweets, cakes, more. Free parking.
Nicolaus “Nico” Isco: Great taste, but what's that with all the plastic? Everything is wrapped! So annoying!!
Laura: Love the taste, not too sweet and it is fresh! Recommend red bean cream bread!
O O: The young girl that works here whose name is Joontyg(sorry if I misspelled her name) is amazing, so kind and attentive. She really helped me choose the best dessert for me. May Allah bless her and this Bakery. Salam
Mario Hazza: Their chocolate cake is my favorite
Jin-hyuk Yu: Really tasty and various kinds of breads are here. Gonna visit here regularly 🙂

Tasty Bakery: what do users think?
Megan G: Such amazing cakes and customer service. We loved the cake my fiancé ordered for his college graduation so much that we're getting one for our wedding!!
Deanna Saleh: Love love love Tasty Bakery! Plenty of DF options! The bread is delicious. The half moon cookie is my favorite. The PB granola bar is a must try. The owner is super sweet too!
B S: Love the gluten free options and vicky is so good at her job !
Don Torres: Best vegan cupcakes I've ever had
k Lulu: So many amazing gluten free and vegan options. The staff is always nice too.
Genny Cameron: Great place for people with gloutin issues.delious bakery
Melissa C: Tasty Bakery to the rescue! I was in search of a dairy free, gluten free birthday cake for myself on very short notice. I knew the chances of being able to have a cake made for the next day were slim was but Tasty so graciously said they could make one for me! So so very kind of them and WOW the cake tastes so incredible! Four layers of pure deliciousness! I can’t thank Tasty enough for making my birthday. I’ll be buying all of my cakes here from now on :) PLUS, the rosemary gluten free crackers are so good that they are addicting!!
Matthew Sommerville: Fantastic vegan cake for my wife’s birthday. Really next level delicious. Highly recommend.
Lis Iglesias: I would give 0 stars if possible. My little son ended up with an anaphylactic shock at the ER because the seller made a little mistake. Instead of rice, it was halzenut flour. In the hospital, I called the bakery and they answered me as they were making me a favor while we were trying to figure out what were the real ingredients. They should train their staff and label properly their products. I would not recommend this bakery. They should understand that people can died for their "little" mistakes. They never offered paying the bill for the ER.
Porter Gale: Not recommended. Knowingly delivered a birthday cake with the name spelled wrong. NOT good at details.
A M: very tasty gluten free treats! highly recommend!
Katharine G: Delicious nutritious bread 🍞! Love that they use high quality lower glycemic gluten free flours (and some are organic to boot) Cookies 🍪 and cupcakes are so good too 😋
Mark Dolan: We had them do the cake (gluten and dairy free) for our wedding in 2018. Tasted better and was more affordable than Zingerman's cake. We've gotten their gluten and dairy free carrot cake for literally every special occasion since (birthdays, anniversaries, family in town, etc.). It's always delicious, and I always wish I got a bigger cake.
Courtney Whittler: We ordered a cake for my mother-in-law's birthday. It had to be GF, corn-free, and vegan to accommodate everyone at the gathering. We ordered a 6 inch chocolate cake with vanilla frosting. The cake was very cute with a simple frosting decoration and pretty sprinkles. Inside, there were 4 layers. Everyone LOVED the cake.... even the birthday girl, who doesn't have any dietary restrictions. I'm especially pleased that Tasty Bakery uses no corn ingredients, which is hard to find. I'll definitely be using them for future birthday parties and family gatherings. Thank you!
Isaac Spiegel: Last year I ordered a birthday cake (strawberry cake with strawberry frosting) from Julie of Tasty Bakery here for a friend with Celiac's and a dairy allergy. It was so good I would recommend getting all birthday cakes here forever regardless of anybody's dietary restrictions. It was *so* strawberry-y. The cake also *looked* gorgeous, see image (we added the candles and unicorn thing ourselves). We actually made requests about the styling of the cake based on what we saw on the website and Julie was so accommodating and just a sweet person. So yeah, I'm about to order this exact same cake again.
Shanna McConnell: We ordered a very complex cake (GF, no dairy, low sugar) and Tasty Bakery did an amazing job. The cake looked and tasted fantastic!
Kristopher Schermerhorn: Found this little bakery from their berry bars at a market in Ann Arbor and have been hooked since. Gluten free, clean ingredients, sweetened with coconut nectar instead of sugar, and delicious! They baked a gluten free, low glycemic, dairy free strawberry cake for my mother's birthday today and it is delicious! Really good texture too. They were so helpful and knowledgeable in healthy and clean ingredients through the process, too. Can't recommend highly enough! So glad to have found this little gem of a bakery.
Julie Kennedy Carlberg: I always go out of my way to visit Tasty when I’m in the Ann Arbor area....fantastic gf cookies and I feel like I’m part of a secret little club of cool people who know this place exists. Lovely owners!
Ana Smith: My daughter lost her dad, was diagnosed with Celiac and turned Sweet 16 in a matter of months (all during a pandemic and strict quarantine). Tasty Bakery made an incredible looking and tasting cake; she was thrilled and we all thought tasted better than a “regular” cake! Grateful.
Bob Cannon: Hard to find but delicious gluten free desserts!!!
Vance Shutes: A little out of the way (and not easy to find), but definitely worth the visit. They made a delicious gluten- and lactose-free birthday cake which everyone enjoyed (and most had no idea of the missing gluten and lactose). We will definitely visit again!

Zingerman's Bakehouse: what do users think?
Erika Carberry: They always run out of their daily specials way too early. Specifically the breakfast sandwiches on Tuesday’s & Friday’s
Faramarz F: Best bread..... highest quality ingredients.... worth every penny!!!
Brandon LaVictor: This place is a icon in Ann Arbor and known by all those who are not a local due to their incredible offerings. If there is a line, it moves fast, and goodness this place does not disappoint in taste, texture and satisfaction.
Stacey Batzer: First time here. Very busy on Mothers Day. Lemon Tart made us all moan. SOooo Good. JHighly recommended!
Kelly S: Who doesn't love Zingerman's? Always a delight & the chocolate cake was an awesome finale to my visit. Now go away & leave me alone with my brownie party. NOM NOM NOM...
Bill Williams: Very nice. First visit....not the last.
Eddie Smith: Delicious breads, pastries, and baked goods, with staff who are always down to earth and truly care about the customer experience. We've shopped here dozens of times since moving up here to Ann Arbor, and every experience had been great. Some of our favorite breads include the Roadhouse, Farmhouse, Onion Rye, and Dinkelbrot.
Shane Daniel: On your birthday you get a free loaf of bread....baked goods are a plenty and you can see them make the bread through a window ☺️
Penny Zee: Zingermans businesses are truly a staple in Ann Arbor. I admire the business owners ability to leverage the unique city and culture to maintain the momentum of what's become a unique, long-standing business.I don't eat a lot of sweets but highly recommend any lovers of sweets and baked goods make the trek here. Great job Zingermans!
The Pazyamors: Very creative and delicious offerings. Very cognizant of food and health safety. A favorite is the farm loaf-perfect crust with soft inside, great chew-versatile for sandwiches, toast or just tearing away pieces to snack on or as a side to a meal.. Other baked goods enjoyed include cupcakes, cakes, bagels, pastries and pies. All ingredients chosen thoughtfully for the best flavor, supporting local farms and artisans.
Delaney Fedewa: They do not have any sandwiches made with gluten-free bread, unfortunately. Although, I did see they had gluten-free bread on their menu.
Craig Pfeifer: Delicious baked goods, hot coffee, ready made sandwiches and salads. Plenty of seating indoors/outdoors, and friendly staff.
cynthia lester: Awesome!Good food, enjoyed the cooking class, excellent instructor and assistant.Very kind, patient and very professional. The instructor really enjoyed teaching the baking class.I'm looking forward to attending more classes, the breads were delicious 😋
Chris Adamson: Def need Google to find the place in the back of a warehouse complex, but totally worth it - real artisan bread, cheese, and candy made on site. They even have classes in baking.
Egemen Aras: It is our first visit as a family. Staff was extremely helpful and patient since we asked tons of questions. Thanks✌️
Jeremy O'Brien: Everything we've had from here has been amazing. Sandwiches, breads, pastries, it's all been fantastic and tasty.
Lucas Jordan: Tomato Soup/Chicken Noodle Soup and Grilled Cheese with the works on Wednesdays. Half and half Turkey Chili and Beer CheeseSoup with Fresh Pretzels on Thursdays. So good. Highly recommend visiting.
Chris Brown: Cakes, bagels and pies were wonderful...
Hockey Mom 7: So fun! So cool and so interesting! The cooking classes are so fun to do with friends. Highly recommend for a great time and laughs! The Chocolate Mint cake is ahhhhhhhhmazing!!!
Xiao Meow: Nice bakery shop. A little too expensive but it’s local business.

Bakehouse 46: what do users think?
Gayle Fick: This was the perfect break after Literati bookstore. The cupcakes were beautiful and delicious. They even gave my daughter one of their adorable mini ones for it being her birthday
Diana: Great carrots cake cupcakes and cheese cake bars. Definitely recommend!
Katelynn Gorsuch: Great variety!
Ivy Wei: Bakehouse 46 is incredible. For gender reveal they quickly churned out 4 cupcakes for us. When our cat tore into the last one they gave us another for free. Thank you Bakehouse 46 for making our celebration so fun and for being such great supporters of our party.
Kiel VanTiem: Every time I have been at this location, it has been an absolute delight.
JJ McGillicutty: Perfect Cupcakes! My dog also loves their 'pupcakes' :)
Glenn Carlson: Awesome bakery
Deb Gru: Not for us. Banana pudding is made with cool whip- no pudding. Cupcakes are not fresh but there is a great variety. Cream cheese frosting on the carrot cake cupcake was awesome! Cheesecake bar was not what was expected- didn’t finish it. Place was busy. There is a bench seat with 3 sm tables and a few chairs and a small bar against the the front window. Quality wasn’t worth the money in our opinion. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Amy Courtney: One of the best cake donuts I’ve ever had. Sooo good.
Kaia H: Yess, their cupcakes and bagel sandwiches are delicious, but their customer service is terrible! This is the third time I've walked in at noon on a Wednesday to get cupcakes for my afternoon team meeting, and the staff doesn't acknowledge you or say, " I'll be there." They continued doing other tasks while I stood there for five minutes, and once again, I walked out and when to Cinnaholic.
Maddy K.: I come here often, but I was so disappointed today by the bad hygiene. I ordered a bagel, and the man who toasted my bagel was literally cleaning/sweeping the floor and without washing his hands or changing his gloves after cleaning, he touched my bagel with the same gloves and put cream cheese on it. I was so lost for words that I came out without saying anything, but I had to throw out the bagel. I’ve ordered bagels or bagel sammies often here (as well as cupcakes and donuts), but never paid that close attention to the kitchen until today. Please train the employees properly about hygiene practices and not touching anything dirty while preparing food. I probably won’t be returning anytime soon after this experience.
Ashwin Vivekanandan: Great cupcakes and donuts
Jane Haun: Delicious baked goods, excellent service. Highly recommend
Zach Wilkinson: Item value is less apparent when gotten to-go. So, in-shoppe experience might help satisfy.
Janalee Robinson: Welcoming atmosphere, you’ll never walk out grumpy!
Denny S: Save yourself go any where but here almost $5.00 for a plan cupcakes.
Blake Webb: Sandwiches were great, cupcakes were wonderful our kids love them.
Aremmy Di: I loved the apple cider (cutting down on caffeine), but tasted a sip of the coffee and has great taste. The donuts are addictive, so glad it’s quite a drive to get there.
David Goodman: Price point high on cupcake: too much frosting but quality cake portion.
Holly Burks: Really disappointed with the Ann Arbor location. I got a BLT on a hard and stale bagel with floppy bacon. Won’t be back. At least the cider is still pretty good

DJ’s Bakery: what do users think?
Keshia Bush: DJ's is my go to bakery for doughnuts, muffins, pretzels, vietnamese iced coffee, pastries, etc. Yummy yummy yummy! And the staff is absolutely kind and fast! Hands down you must go in and give em a try if your in A2 and haven't been!!!
Jesters Jinx (меss¡ан): My wife and I go here weekly on the weekends, family owned and very sweet.
Valerie Eaglin: Scrumptious!!!
Joshua Polaczyk: DJ’s is the spot!! Amazing donuts. Get an Apple fritter for sure. Also pro tip: get some ham and cheese pretzel rolls for lunch. You won’t regret it. Don’t miss these awesome treats.
Carol Corrao: Three words…OH MY GOD!!! Best bakery I’ve ever been to!
David Stone: Excellent bakery on the east side of Ann Arbor. Great doughnuts of both the yeast and cake variety. The bakery offers a wide variety of treats and makes pretzels and other baked goods. A convenient location to stop in as you enter or leave Ann Arbor. The filled doughnuts are generously filled and the doughnuts are light and fluffy in texture. Great cinnamon rolls and fritters as well.
Angela Myers: The dounuts are fresh, and delicious. Great place to get dounuts and coffee. My kids even beg to go here. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Sami Daher: Fresh donuts and very kind owner I won't get donuts from anywhere but here it’s like home made .very good people and family.Has been my go to place for a years, and will always be thanks again.
RJ Stephens: Donuts are huge. Customer service is a no. Rushed out the door. Hurry up and buy!! Great selection just don't take too long other Customer more important than black lady! "Hello white man oh! take ya time, your money is greener than this lady's "
Eddie Smith: This is a really great bakery! We have purchased pastries here more than 50 times. There is always an excellent selection of sweet, and even some savory, pastries with competitive pricing. In fact, the combination of DJ's products and prices are probably impossible to beat in terms of value. Additionally, the service is always friendly and helpful. The only criticisms are that (1) the atmosphere is pretty bland, (2) the location isn't that great, (3) the small parking lot is usually too crowded during breakfast hours and there's no room to park, and (4) the ingredients are probably not the healthiest even in terms of making pastries (e.g., no organic ingredients, lots of trans fats, etc.). On this last point, I am making an assumption based on the complete lack of advertising regarding ingredients, but I could be wrong and DJ's might use some of the best and healthiest ingredients for making pastry. Nonetheless, the wide selection of excellent tasting pastries, the consistently friendly service, and the competitive prices still earn DJ's Bakery a full five stars! A must try if you live in the A2-Ypsi area and love pastries!
Nicole Valentine: Always a go to for fresh and delicious donuts for myself and my friends.
Ezzeldin Elkhouli: Super top notch donuts. Worth the 20+ mile drive!
Cosima Boswell: Absolutely amazing donuts and just the best customer service. We couldn't recommend this place more. Best Apple fritter EVER and my kids LOVE DJ'd!
Matt: Don’t skip out on this place while you visit the Ann Arbor area! $2 for most donuts and they’re absolutely delicious. Come early— they tend to sell out of most flavors before 12!
Patrick Kane: Nice family run donut shop. Prices are good, service is quick. Serves all the classic donuts. My only complaint is with the cinnamon rolls. They lack any hint of cinnamon. Basically a glazed donut wrapped in a circle.
Andrww Gutowski: Best donuts in the area!
Ahlam Yousef: Best donuts I ever had, always fresh
Nathan Parker: Some of the best donuts I've had in the AA area. Not quite Winchell's (out West) or Shipley's (Texas), but currently my new favorite.
Norma Martinez: As always, delicious donuts and pretzels. The service is great, staff is always kind and patient.
Travis: Out of my glazed old fashioned that I love but their glazed cake donut was amazing girl that served me was very nice
Peter Hofesmann: My favorite bakery. The friendliest person serving the best product. My favorite: cheese danish, filled pretzel bun and the nut cake. Just awesome. I'm glad I live to far away to go there daily.

Big City Small World Bakery: what do users think?
David Waldron: Wide selection of delicious baked goods. You can taste the fresh ingredients and feel good.
Hande Egeli: Best latte i had in Michigan!
Grumpy Dragon: I love this place! Perfectly splendid.
Chris Wolff: Very neat, neighborhood place. The owner is extremely welcome, kind, and helpful. Worth a stop!
Beth Sherman: A true Ann Arbor gem. Wide selection of delicious baked goods. You can taste the fresh ingredients and feel good about supporting a local, small business. See you in the neighborhood!
Brie: very cute bakery with vegan and gluten free options, plus sandwiches and coffee, and the staff is so sweet! my favorite neighborhood business ❤️🍰
Michael Murphy: Good atmosphere, great gluten free and vegan options.
Rachel: Lovely place. Great people, great food
Sabitha Raman: Chocolate mousse cake was hard and dry. Chocolate ding dong was stale and dry. Lemon bar was good. OVERPRICED for the quality of desserts offered.
Penelope Paulus: I ordered a vegan gluten free cake for my son’s birthday party and it was out of this world. I’m a super picky eater and often don’t like the texture of vegan gluten free baked goods, but this cake was incredible! It was moist and creamy and delicious!
Debbie Collingridge: I selected four different kinds of cupcakes (chocolate, vanilla, orange, and carrot cake) and tested in the hope that I would love at least one. I was testing so that I could select a flavor and order a wedding cake for my son’s upcoming wedding. Unfortunately, all of the cupcakes were bland, tasteless, dry, and left a gooey taste in the mouth.I also ordered a Canadian Butter Tart which tasted okay. Their chocolate macaroon was amazing, however - not too sweet, dense with lots of coconut. I ordered a MI Cherry Chicken salad sandwich which was quite good. Two stars for the sandwich and chocolate macaroon. I wouldn’t recommend ordering cake or cupcakes.
Jack Schott: The best bakery in town. You have to get a cherry turnover!!!
Juliana Kormanik: Stopped in yesterday and what a treat! Adm greeted us and educated us on all of the delicious gluten free and vegan treats they offer. We ended up getting one of each to try! Everything was delicious and barely made it through the day. I have celiac and am super sensitive to egg and dairy so it was awesome to find so many options. We are from out of town but visit the are frequently and we can’t wait to come back!
Brittany Connors: Really sweet bakery, kind knowledgeable people. Many vegan and gluten free options to boot!
Claire S.: Iced coffee of my dreams!
Ashlyn Lawson: Every time I come into Big City Small World I feel like I'm a child entering my grandparents house for Thanksgiving - warm, invited, and ready to eat some amazing food. Big City's sweet treats are the best around, so many gluten free and vegan options (and *good* gluten free and vegan options, not having to settle for less than to fit your dietary preferences). Their espresso is amazing and buttery, and their lunch options are always filling. But above all, the owner (Scott?) always puts a smile on your face. I've only ever met one other person who puts so much heart and soul into their business. It's an honor to be able to visit Big City Small World as often as I do, thank you for all of the great food and great times!
Suzanna Kostka: I love this bakery, their goods and location. Must stop to support a local and cheerful business 3
Melody Russell: Everything we’ve tried is really great!
Mia Azlyn: The cherry chicken salad sandwich is delicious!
Mark Davis-Craig: Pasties! Chicken, beef, or veggie. Many lunch sandwiches, too. And on my visit, they were selling Canadian butter tarts. Some of the many uncommon-to-Ann-Arbor pastries that Big City bakery offers.

Cakes By Rubina: what do users think?
L WW: The chocolate cake is really good!
Vasudha C: We've been ordering birthday cakes from here for the past several years, and have never been disappointed. Very professional yet accommodating to one's needs, they've always delivered beautiful and delicious cakes/cupcakes that have been instant hits. Definitely recommend!
izzyd98: Rubina really knows what she’s doing! We ordered a cake for my cousin’s graduation from MSU Nursing School. It was stunning and delicious too! She only used fondant for the decorations but the white coating was all buttercream. The raspberry white chocolate marble cake with cream cheese frosting was such a crowd pleaser, everyone went back for seconds, thirds, and took some home. Will definitely be back for future events!
Noor Nimer: Cakes are exactly what i want everytime i order. Taste amazing! and incredible customer service. definitely recommend to everyone
Petr Tojsl: Their custom cakes look nice, but the taste is not so nice. Super dense and really bland.
Willie Simon: Thank you so much Rubina for that wonderful cake! It was so delicious and it was so much better than my expectations😊You did a
Micah Bartelme: Cupcakes for my kids birthday were gross - dry, dense, crumbly cake that tasted like and was consistency of stale corn muffin. Frosting was disgusting and borderline inedible. Everyone hated them. We tried to go direct to owner and give her a chance to rectify issue if there had been some mistake. She instead called my wife a liar and refused to take any responsibility or offer corrective solutions.
James Hanke: Probably the worst desert I’ve ever had. Called ahead a week in advance to pick up some of the regular cupcakes. Person told me to leave them out three hours to get to temperature. No comments on the fact that the cake portion would be hard as a hockey puck. Garbage product. $30 down the drain.
Sierra Iverson: Macaroons were dry and old. Wants hundreds of dollars for a block M graduation cake when you can buy a $30 cake mold for it at target. Scam artists.
A: Terrible customer service.
Mary Norris: Pre-pandemic, we attempted to buy macrons and were turned away because the cash we had would pay for 3 when they would only sell 12. They would not work with us to even sell one for the price of 3. Wrote that off as an anomaly. Later ordered a birthday cake that was quite good. Today, tried to make a large cupcake purchase and were dismissed as though we were insignificant customers. No willingness to help us get what we needed. Cake we bought was good, but pricey. Wouldn't Exotic Bakeries or Zingerman's be more willing to cater to all customers rather than snobbily only attend to those who have a lot of money to spend for every purchase? We'll update review with that answer. Will recommend niece and fellow graduates choose Zingerman's or Exotic or some different option for their celebrations for sure. Update: Zingerman's cake pales in quality. Rubina's is far better.
Manzi MFM: The cake I bought, coffee and chocolate was average at best. Here’s the thing if it had a redeeming factor such as flavorful, smooth icing or the cake being moist and delicious I would have easily given it a 4 or 5 stars in this case neither were particularly good. I’ve had better cakes elsewhere that were less expensive. Charging $30 for a dry cake with thick, flavorless icing is disappointing.
Meghan Dailey: Rubina made the cake for our wedding reception in May, and we had a very pleasant experience! We had originally planned for a 2021 reception but unfortunately needed to postpone to 2022, and Rubina was very flexible and easy to work with to reschedule. She was able to put together a takeout cake testing, and the portions were extremely generous and delicious for a reasonable price. On the day of our reception, she delivered to downtown Detroit, and she even provided a cake stand that fit with our theme. We were not too picky with the decorations on our cake and asked her to create what she thought would be best, and the final result was amazing!Rubina wasn't as quick to reply in email as some of our other wedding vendors, but we were overall very pleased with our experience with her!
Tracey Sonntag: Ordered cakes for my daughter's baby shower. To quote my Aunt Linda, "That was the best cake I've ever had in my LIFE." They were also beautiful!
Natalie Shrock: Ordered two cakes for my daughter’s graduation after having ordered from Rubina previously. Both cakes were gorgeous. The Block M was delicious. The drip cake was dry and stale. Quite a disappointment.
Natalie Davidson: Very good cakes
geri leone: I ordered my daughter's birthday cake last min. & was pleasantly surprised how accommodating and wonderful the owner was. What a delicious/gorgeous/elegant cake!!One happy young lady!!! Thank you.
Soohie Coco: the driest cupcakes i’ve ever had in my life, i thought as i left them out at room temperature they would improve but they’re so stale, like they’ve been frozen or something. and for how expensive they are? i’m very disappointed :/
FAZO: Outstanding
Shawn Hogan: The cakes were very good. It's a little different than I'm used to.
J E: Really amazing and creative work!

Luca Pastry: what do users think?
Stephanie Teasley: Love my first experience with their cake. I bought 3 different slices, especially to try the two flavors of "cannoli cake" and my spouse's favorite carrot cake. All very nice. The vanilla cannoli rates higher than the chocolate - and this from a devoted chocoholic. The only quibble I have is that one should never buy pre-stuffed cannoli unless you like soggy shells. However, the lovely woman who waited on me offered to stuff some shells for me on request. That's the way to go if you'll be eating them soon. I was not, so I happily purchased the cake slices.
Ashima Saigal: I ordered a birthday cake after trying the macrons and other cookies. Everything in the place is delicious. I recommend trying one of everything :-)
Ashley Braeckman: Delicious every time!
Melissa St clair: I got a sheet cake for my daughters baby shower and was expecting a nice cake but boy was i pleasantly surprised with beautiful and extremely delicious cake! Everyone LOVED this cake. If you’re wondering if you should get your cake from Luca’s pastries, absolutely.
Margaret Bass: Delicious cakes and pastries, spectacular decorating, friendly and helpful staff.
Thomas Kemerer: Absolutely the best pastries in town !!!!!
Eric Osborn: Good cookies, cakes and cupcakes are a bit too heavy on the frosting but that may be a preference issue. Only issue is that occasionally, the cookies taste overcooked or stale. Never had that problem with the Canton location. Still, they taste great most of the time. Staff is friendly and courteous.
Jamie Mak: I ordered an Anniversary cake & it came out unbelievably beautiful. I asked for a cake like the one posted on their Facebook page and Warren did a wonderful job personalizing a replica of that cake. I cannot say enough good things about the taste and quality of their products.
Kimberly Mills: So, so good!
Brian Alter: Absolutely delicious ice cream with large portions. Really delectable fresh pastries. And extremely nice people
Samantha Hernandez: Best cannolis .. everything is great really
Scott Nover: The best cake, pastries, and gelato in town. And the nicest people!
Abdulrahman Aqlan: This place has officially become my favorite pastry shop! Super friendly staff too.
Eddie Smith: Five stars... plain and simple. Consistently great pastries (including many of our Italian favorites) and great service with a smile. Highly recommend trying the sfogliatelle (lobster tails) with ricotta or Bavarian cream (ricotta is my favorite, but my wife and her family prefer the Bavarian cream). The canoli are also great.
Sanka Hettiarachchi: ❤️ Warning!!! Bridget Kerr: The cannoli's and tiramisu were amazing! I will be back to try the fruit tart as well as other delicious offerings
Katie K: My husband and his family have been so excited to find a New York style Italian American bakery and this is it. The chocolate covered cannoli is amazing and their tiramisu is delicious. My mother-in-law can't get enough of their rainbow cookies. We stop here too much! Their staff is delightful and helpful. Join the rewards program for a discount!
Peggy Macgregor: Nice variety of pastry and simply delicious

Great Harvest Bread Co.: what do users think?
Liam Drake: Went in to get a small brewed coffee. Coffee was good, but the staff member working there didn’t have a pleasant attitude. Still, a $2.12 coffee isn’t bad.
Sarah Long: I’d give a 5 star because the bread and food is wonderful and the staff are kind, but there is never a consistent time that the “grill is turned off”.My fiancé was told the other day that the grill turned off at 3:30 because they close at 4pm; fair. However, I came in today at 3:20 and the woman in line in front of me was told no for a grilled cheese because the grill was off. I just left because I knew what I wanted to order was grilled. IDK. The inconsistency with the grill is a little disheartening. I have a job where I’m not available to come get food from here until a little bit after 3. I’m leaving a review now because this is the 2nd time in a row this has happened just this week, but it’s happened to me a few times in the past before. Lost business a good bit over this.
Lisa Chie: Love the fresh baked breads and sandwiches.
ξriη ξlaiηε Ꭶ •—YouΘɴlyLɨveΘɴce—•: Free loaf of bread with purchase for the holiday this week.... I felt incredibly humbled and special all at the same time. Love this place. Love their food, homemade eats, and the atmosphere. The service of the crew staff working at this location is simply truly a cut above, amazing human beings and excellent workers.
Ann Arbor Hardwoods LLC: My new favorite bakery!!! Have had a few sandwiches here the apple bread, chocolate chip cookies blueberry loaf. It was all amazing!!
Haleigh White: I think our bunny, unfortunately, watched the movie hereditary too many times. Poor baby looked run over and semi-decapitated. Sad face, but still cute.
Wendy Weber: I ordered 6 Hot cross buns three weeks ago as my mother who is 87 loves them for Easter. I do this every year. I showed up at 2pm not realizing they closed at 2pm today. [The gal I ordered them three weeks ago from asked me when I would like to pick them up and I said early afternoon she never told me they close at 2pm on Saturday]. Anyways, I arrived to find the doors closing and the manager inside and I explained my situation and she said they give them away if no one picks up the order. I found this really unsensitive and uncaring. She did not offer me any other product for the inconvenience. It was clear her and her staff just wanted to close up shop. I also noticed they left 2 orders outside the door of folks who ordered stuff and had not picked it up as their names were on them. This is poor business. It is an Easter weekend and this place closes at 2pm and does not even have the decency to call me. They had my number as they asked for it during my order placement. They have lost my business.
Teresa Reynhout: Had to have thw cinnamon toaster bread.
Rick Regensburg: That place is awesome! Love there breads!
mia demar: Such a wide variety of fresh bread! Their bread is baked fresh everyday. I really enjoyed browsing through their dish towels and tea section. I was very happy with my order of a chai latte with a breakfast sandwich.♥️♥️
Dan Smiley: As always, delicious bread !!
Kris Eggleston: Love their bread. Sometimes I forget to order so I get what I want. Breads are all fresh every day. And oh so good. You can get a sample if you want to try something. Sometimes I get a sample just because.
Denise Taylor: Julia, I’m so sorry how late this is but you know me I’m always late! The food was absolutely delicious that my best friend brought back to me! We absolutely loved the granola! I’m going to have to get my mom and drive up there one day for seconds! Thank you and your wonderful staff! ❤️
Bruce Bartley: Great bread. What else can be said.
Bruce Popejoy: Open sign on, place was closed. Another person was happy to see the sign and disappointed when we found out someone forgot to turn it off!
I. Desouky: Good bread and good people.
Christen Mitchell: We love great harvest, especially their easter offerings.sysff and owners are always pleasant.
Karen Barbu: Good bread and cookies
Kathy Elizabeth: I am very disappointed that they don’t make white raisin bread anymore. They add cinnamon to the bread which we don’t care for. Yes their breads are good but a visit there is very expensive. Way over priced.
Owen Dorsey: Great sandwiches at a reasonable price, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier!

Detroit Cookie Company Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Katrina Catabian: This is my favorite dessert spot in Ann Arbor! The cookies are always very fresh & the flavors are so fun and unique. The staff is consistently kind & welcoming!
Emily Plunkett: Delicious cookies and very good coffee
Paige Lyson: Gross cookies you could get better from Meijer for a quarter of the price.
Leah McDowell: If you like soft cookies this is your place! So hard to choose between all the flavors, so far I’ve only had raspberry, cheesecake, Oreo, soooo good!!
Gino Gisondo: This place blows. It is a poor imitation of Crumbl and Crumbl sucks at baseline. If you want a good cookie that doesn't cost $6, go to Cinnaholic instead.
NG White: I have been here 3 times and will not be returning again. I have tried the cookies and the cake. Here are the positives. Very friendly and helpful workers. Reasonable cookie prices. Variety of bakery items and different cookie options. The negative is the actual product. The cookies are hard and taste stale. The cake did not taste good either. I wanted to like them because I love cookies. 3 strikes you're out.
Heather Vingsness: Great selection of tempting flavors. I loved the in-store experience, but did not love the cookie as much as I expected to. My Night Cap cookie was dry around the edges and a little tough. Expensive for a small cookie.
Emilia Fichter: Nice spot for a brief, super sweet snack... However the price was a low value deal for the quality/size. I found $9 for two cookies a little pricey. Taste was good. Staff was courteous but the place was not inviting: there was no place to eat inside. So yes, I think I'd rather choose other options around especially during winter time.
Keith Bruhnsen: Stopped for take out coffee and a brownie. Coffee was fresh. Brownie was stale, dry and hardened. Clearly several days old. Disappointed i wasted $6, they need to rotate product of your going to call yourself a bakery.
Laura: Friendly service, good taste! I like the chestnut flavour.
Daryl Johnson: This place is delicious, creative, and has excellent customer service! All the cookies are baked in the shop and they have cookies based on seasons and holidays.
Matthew Kubik: Horrible customer service. Their owner is very nasty to fellow local businesses.
Vice -Versa: Best cookies ever. Definitely better than crumbl but I will have to double check freshly homemade away from home
Derrick Morris: Wonderful. Get u some cookies!
Kaustubh Deshpande: The cookies here are DELICIOUS! I bought a box of 12 with an assortment of flavors, and enjoyed every single one of them. The staff is friendly and shopping here is a fun experience. The only one negative, which I'm sure they'd improve upon with more years under their belt, is their coffee. The coffee I got was watered down, bland and wasn't even warm. Tad bit disappointing. Overall though, I would highly recommend this place! Go here for the cookies =)
Ihudiya Finda Williams: Extremely moist cookies, each with their unique flavors. Originally, I was skeptical of the establishment, and now I’m sad they aren’t open late :-(
Sara S.: The guy behind the counter was super helpful and they have lots of fun flavors. They don't do iced cookies so much, but they put a lot of goodies inside--chocolate pieces, pretzels, potato chips, nuts, etc. They also had brownies and ice cream.
Alexis Gentile: Just the absolute best cookies, hands down. Try the PB Volcano.
Nathan Harburg: LOTS of interesting flavors! Helpful staff! Delicious
John Nevin: Biggest challenge is picking favorite cookie. They are all amazing. And staff is super nice.
Sara Gardner: The vegan cookies and cream cookies were my favorite. So nice and chewy!
