Angela M: This was my first visit to this car wash. I paid $28 for a "full service ultimate wash."The wash and the vacuum were subpar. I get a better wash from zippy wash at half the cost. Not to mention there were spots in my car that didn't even get vacuumed.
Brad Brown: This was my first and last time coming here. $28 dollar exterior car wash is all it is at best. I had to come home and do the interior and the windows all over again after I paid for it. They do a dusting at best inside. So do yourself a favor and get an $8 dollar wash somewhere else and do the interior yourself.

Nitin Kulkarni: Very disappointing car wash. For $20, they did not vacuum the center cup holder area, and the inside of the windshield was not cleaned either. Ann Arbor has many other more modern and cheaper options with better service.
Jim Henderson: This is just a really expensive exterior car wash now. I haven’t been here in a couple years, and it sure has changed. $28 bucks for a basic interior vacuum and half a$$ wipe down. They used to spray your mats off and do a really nice job at cleaning up the inside.Never again.Zippy’s is $19.95 a month for unlimited wash and free vacuuming!!Can’t imagine you’ll stay in business much longer with customers not returning.👎Service:Auto interior vacuuming
Rahima Shairulla: They do everything for you clean inside out, vacuum shines ur vehicle. The price is high and on top of that you have to pay extra dollars 💸 to get your mats and trunk etc clean I feel for the price charge, mats should include. Good news is you relax and they do all the work 👍

The bottom of the car is rarely cleaned and tire shine doesn't ever work. I complain and they'll do it manually. Is it worth $20+ to have your car washed? No, not any more. I'm going to try just a basic and do the rest myself since that's about what happens anyway. What a sad end to what used to be a great car wash.

Colleen O'Brien: After years of going to this business I went again today. The job on the interior was TERRIBLE. $28 later and mud, finger prints, and obviously not vacuumed seats. They were nice when I asked about this but the person who appeared to be in charge took no responsibility for the work and acted like “well, we did something so that should be good enough”. I literally asked for a rag and spray to work on it myself which they were happy to let me do. Christine McBride: This car wash has one of the worst car wash experience I’ve ever had. Starting off the guy working there was trying tell me to pull forward I guess and I couldn’t see what he was doing with his hands if it was stop or pull forward which caused him to start cussing at me which is extremely unprofessional. Then the layout of the car wash/vacuuming area makes it to where if it’s full the time of day you go there are no spots to wait since they’re right when you come out of the car wash and there are only 6 vacuums. The only reason I’m giving this two-stars is that at least I got a good car wash but I won’t be going there again.

Omeid: Would give this place 5 stars but they almost NEVER clean underneath my SUV’s spoiler (except for one employee named Wyatt). What’s the point of their employees with the power washers that spray your car before the car wash? They can literally just spray beneath the spoiler but never do. I have actually called and complained about this before but still no training for their employees. I have a fast pass and come here multiple times a week. Wyatt (seems like a newer employee) is the ONLY employee I’ve had spray beneath the spoiler after over a year of coming here. Downgrading my membership this month because it doesn’t make sense to pay for their most premium tier membership just to be annoyed every time you leave the car wash. So much disappointment, time and time again.Update: just went again and had the same issue.

xavier gonzales: Terrible customer service, i used to be a member a year ago, decided to rejoin, at the kiosk I booked the monthly plan, gave my card info and got my wash, when I tried to go back my sticker didn’t work, I stopped in and asked for a new one (at this point I had been charged for another month) and they couldn’t find my old account so they couldn’t give me a sticker, couldn’t make me a new account, couldn’t offer a refund, couldn’t stop the charges completely useless! Her advice was take it up with the owner. I’m left with no choice but to dispute charges for a service I can’t use. What a shame and huge waste of time.
Brandi: Definitely a great deal on memberships for a car wash! I love that Larry always has a smile on his face. It's nice to see a friendly smile everyday. The only "complaint" I have is that I wish the dryers would dry my side mirrors a little better, but it's so minor.

James Smith: A Complete Waste of Money: Automated Car Wash That Failed to DeliverI recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting this car wash that left me feeling completely ripped off and utterly disappointed. Despite putting in a 5 dollar bill into the machine (Bay 4) and expecting a nice and easy car wash, the entire ordeal turned out to be an absolute disaster.First and foremost, the most infuriating aspect of this car wash was the fact that it didn't even operate. As soon as I pulled up, I eagerly inserted my hard-earned $5 bill, expecting a seamless and efficient process. To my disbelief, nothing happened. No brushes, no jets of water, no soap—absolutely nothing. It was as if I had just thrown my money into a black hole, never to be seen again. This complete lack of functionality is utterly unacceptable, especially considering the prices they charge.Moreover, the customer service contacts were not labelled nor could I find anything on the many warning labels put inside the bay.Furthermore, the lack of maintenance and upkeep was glaringly obvious. After wasting 5 on bay number 4, I pulled into bay number 2. There the machine did operate after putting in more cash, but the sprayer had a cut in it and was spraying water at high pressure all over the place. So I had to hold the hose at a certain angle to avoid getting sprayed in the face with the water.The whole place looked neglected and rundown, with broken signage, faded paint, and malfunctioning equipment. It was evident that this car wash had seen better days and had long abandoned any notion of providing a quality service. It's a shame that they still felt justified charging customers for a service that clearly did not meet even the most basic standards.In conclusion, this car wash was an utter disgrace. Not only did it fail to operate, but the complete lack of customer service and the appalling state of the facilities only compounded my dissatisfaction. I would strongly advise anyone considering using this car wash to stay far away and save their hard-earned money for a reputable and reliable alternative. This experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I certainly won't be returning to this establishment any time in the future.

Matthew Laurin: **Update May 2023**Lighthouse has done some major upgrades to the parking lot and vacuums.Vacuums are free between 8am and 5pm. There are now dual hoses on them with the traditional flat extension and also a crevice tool. There is also a place to clamp your floor mats.I should also add that when you go through this wash, there are always two people spraying off the car. They spray with power washers then wipe the front and back of vehicles with big brushes before you go into the machine.This is a well-established car wash that's great for auto-washing or DIY.They have 5 bays in back of the property where you can spray off your car yourself. It's covered and costs about 2 bucks to start. They maintain their equipment pretty well so everything works great. In the bays they also have brushes and clamps to hold your floor mats.If you want to do the auto wash, this one is a little better than the other auto washes in the area. Some of the employees have been there for years and they do a great job.Hint: if you slip them a tip when you drive into the auto wash, they will usually spray your car off a little better.

Bill Niester: I drive a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it has this little overhang off the back of the car over the liftgate that almost never gets washed by other establishments. This place literally got it sparkling clean. Not to mention a very generous drying time that gives the car a chance at staying clean for more than 30 minutes after you drive away. Prices are neither high nor low. Very fair
Jeanie Smith: The person collecting money was nice and cheerful. However when I was going threw the car wash, they sprayed down the front, back, and right side of the car only. The left side (driver side) did not come out clean it still had residue from the tree I park under. Had they sprayed down the left side as well, I believe it would have been a good results. My daughter noticed all the gunk still there right after we took off. I know I only got the $10 wash, but I felt like I payed for a $5 wash. I usually pay less for a way better result. So that was pretty devastating due to this being my second attempt at a car wash company in Ann Arbor trying to find one that can actually clean a car. I also drive down a dirt rode so it was able to get the dust off just not residue apparently.
John Laich: No line on a sunny Black Friday after a messy rain shower last night. Location is convenient. Employees very pleasant and helpful. Used to come here frequently when I lived in the area. Tunnel is safe and efficient. Only problem - still had streaks of soap left on hood and trunklid after running through. There's a newer wash nearby I might try next time.
