Gallup Park Canoe & Kayak: what do users think?
Corey Amison: This was one of the greatest moments of my life and I was very thankful to be able to see it with my family.
chiranthan krishnappa: The staff was very friendly and the experience was amazing
Robert Thomas Cole: Excellent Park, Great Fishing and Walking trails, And Everyone Here is super Friendly 💜
Daniel Brown: Can't beat a two hour rental for around $20. Line can be long but moves pretty quickly. Staff is very friendly. The river can get hot if it is sunny, as there isn't much tree cover or shade, so I would recommend trying to go on a cloudy day or in the spring or fall, unless you enjoy hot weather. Fun times either way!
Angela Myers: I have been going to this park since I was little. I absolutely love being among nature here. The only thing that has bothered me is the BLM painted on the sidewalk by the back playground. This park is for everone of every background. Please do not politicize a place where people seek to get a measure of peace.
manny houss: Very beautiful. One of my favorite kayak experiences I have ever had. Beautiful views along the trip
Mary Scheitler: hubby took stepson and they had a good time, just got rained out. He got a voucher for another time so it was taken care of easily. Would definitely recommend.
Charity T: Wonderful experience, staff very helpful, safe and peaceful.
Stephanie M Wood: Inexpensive kayaks n peddle boats. Lots of ducks n swans. Cheeper than most places
Pankaj Dash: Nice lake and good place to kayak. You need to go camp office to rent a boat, amd I thibk the rate for a whole day is reasonable. But, yhey can also add hourly option.
Peter Kuffa: Fun
Local Tour Guide: Highly recommend!
Frau Qu: Very helpful staff, beautiful scenery and animals. Reasonably priced with free parking. We love coming here!
Wade Scott: The people were out canoeing today and the park is absolutely beautiful.
MJ Renwick: Affordable and great vibes, always love Argo for some yak time!
Michael Taillard: Good service and such. Still planning to get our own kayaks, though
Tradnaha Turner: Great prices, excellent selection of canoe and Kayak rentals!
Shannon Searle: So beautiful!! Go there while my aunt is at hospital every Friday. Swans geese ducks and so many birds its absolutely beautiful!!!
Aditya Deshpande: Wonderful location for a peaceful afternoon either in park on the water.
Buy Moi: Was a great experience, staff very friendly & helpful. Scenery very beautiful
Nasser Ahwal: End of Spring and summer time only......An excellent place for kayaking and canoeing and fun, the river stream is not strong, so it is safe for beginners, there are short and long canoe tracks, 1hr, 2hrs and maybe more, according to your choice they will choose the drop point for you to start your paddling journey.Average cost is 30 dollars per person.

Argo Park Canoe & Kayak: what do users think?
Eddie Falkner: Love ir
Paul Stewart: One of the best parks, it's connected to the b2b trail so there's a lot to do
Steven Fields: I've been coming here since high school, so over 15 years! Perfect for dates, being with friends or family, affordable, clean, everyone is really nice and respectful! You get a ride back when you take a river trip, I've even lost my phone and car keys and it was returned, this place is awesome!! If you haven't been you're missing out big time!!
paul k: Great park for running and biking especially, connected to the b2b trail
Shibamouli Lahiri: Amazing and simply fantastic and magnanimous and wondrous and wonderful and awe-inspiring and magnificent and magical and lovely and well-kept and well-balanced and well-built and well-maintained and well-done and beautiful and pristine and incredible and superb and great and perfect. Visited in Fall 2013 with an acquaintance. Hope to visit again and again and again.
Rebecca Barnes: The family absolutely loves Argo Park. It's such a peaceful scene. The park is clean, the cascades are a blast to ride and the people are always friendly. I'd say this is one of Michigan's hidden gems!
Mario Hazza: Fun park to kayak in
Safa Charles: Beautiful nature, I recommend to visit the location.
Ayeekellss: Love coming here. Its kept up great for the most part! No trash in the water, the animals just come on by. First time kayaking and it was a blast! Will definitely come back
Joey Saez: Great views, even better location as it’s close to work. It’s a good place to go on a walk during lunch or after work. Highly suggest the kayaking there, whether you rent one or bring your own. The kayak rental stand has concessions and supplies (like sunscreen) in case you forgot anything. Great spot for picnics and family gatherings.
Chuck Edwards: Had a blast on the river. Staff friendly and on point.
Becca Wooden: So much fun every time we go
Sarah Campbell: So much fun! Spent the day tubing and hanging out. Nice place for a picnic
Megan Olmstead: Fun! Fun! Fun! Kayaking from Argo Park to Gallup Park was a great experience.
Mark David: This is a great activity for a lazy weekend with friends and family. You can rent canoes, kayaks, paddle boards or inner tubes with life jackets. 3 kayaks and life jackets were less than 100 bucks.
Jeffrey Rivera: If you're looking to have fun with friends, family, going out on a date, or even time to yourself this place is the place to go. Kids and adults love it equally. 🙂
Sean Nicol: My wife and I tried this for the first time 7-31-22. We had a great time, despite the enormous number of people on the river. I will echo some other comments - poor parking options and a dangerous mixing of kayaks and tubes in the "rapids" area.
Skylar Coelho: Great float and fun experience all around.
Valerie Howse: Great
Manny Flores: Get there early.
Diane Kaufmann: Loved our experience kakaking down the Huron River.

Skip's Huron River Canoe Livery: what do users think?
Anthony Freeman: Skip's is friendly and well organized. I was able to fill out the waiver online, so check-in took no time when I got there. All of the staff were good communicators. I felt assured each step of the way. From the rental to the paddle down the river, everything went smoothly.
Grace Popple: Great day out. Well organized crew at Skip's means little time wasted and more relaxing with friends and family on the river. At the top of the river they had all the ordered boats set out so no need to wait to get them set up. At the pull out loads of enthusiastic Skips people to help pull us to shore and pull out and clean the boats. Pricing is good and the river is beautiful. We went with friends and a roommate and saw fish, a heron, and a turtle scurrying around under the water.
Amanda Franklin: Skip's is the 🐐
Chad Kirby: Had a blast! I will be back year after year! Employees are great also!
Rachel Stern: Took 7 friends on a trip yesterday. Booking online and signing waivers ahead of time was super easy. Instructions in email were clear about where to park, and there were signs at the metro park. The trip itself was great, lots of opportunities to stop at a park along the way if wanted. We pulled off at the cider mill in Dexter and enjoyed donuts and cider. Most in the group were pretty inexperienced at paddling, but we had no issues, the long trip took us about 4 hours including the shuttle ride and cider stop.
James Drozdowski: Skips Constantly provides a great kayaking experience on the Huron river! The staff is professional and courteous. Scheduling is a breeze and the equipment is in good shape! We go back every year and have not been disappointed.
W. Bee: This place is so much fun. Easy to reserve a kayak or canoe. Friendly staff..Mr. Mike, the bus drive is wonderfully funny. I recommend bringing a picnic lunch and stopping along the river to get out relax and enjoy the view and nature. This is an excellent way to spend the day, get some exercise and enjoy the river. I highly recommend Skip's!
Scott A. Jackson Sr: Expensive to rent anymore , but the 4 hrs. Trip downriver was fun till my cell dropped in the water ...ouch !
Anna Ley: I use Skip's pretty often. Kayaks are good for rentals, staff is nice
John Cooke: Excellent experience with staff, and all equipment was in good condition. Easy way to get on the water and enjoy a great river.
Charles Steele: Totally awesome experience. I met some people out there and made friends on the water. If you want booze, park your kayaks at the first bridge on the left side up the hill is a liquor store right there! Its halfway through the trip. The way was clear and warm enough to swim in. I knew as I was going down the water that I may never see this beautiful place ever again and I really enjoyed it
Ashley Lucas: Reservations, check-in, and getting to the launch site were super easy! All staff that we interacted with were helpful and friendly. We had zero issues with our equipment and had a wonderful afternoon on the river.
Anna Watson: Thanks for a great trip down the Huron! Staff is kind and helpful, equipment is great, and the stretch of river is scenic! A stop at the Dexter Cider Mill is a must now that it is open!
Justin Byrd: Had a really good experience here the other day. Really nice staff and service was quick and simple. I saw some tubes with back rests but mine did not have one and after a bit it did get a little uncomfortable but other than that it was fun. Keep your eyes on the water to see some really cool schools of river red horse and some small mouth bass
Zee Man: We took the tub today with the family . You can take a cooler they pick you up take you to the top to the river they give you life jackets and ropes if you are as a group . It was one of coolest things I did this summer
Henry Zhao: Tubing is way too long. No much current. Get wet immediately due to bottom hole in the tube. Soak in the water for four hours. Not come back again.
Neal Warling: Great experience! Well run and met all expectations. A great memory.
Adam Troy: Great place to kayak !!!
Jeremy Nyquist: Always a good time.
Karen McCullough: My husband and I took the short trip yesterday afternoon for the first time. Our experience was great! The bus left right on time, the staff were friendly and had everything set up and ready for us to go right out on the river. They helped us pull the kayak ashore as well. Highly recommend!
Larisa Bondarenko: Calm river, buetiful nature, good service.

Hell Canoe & Kayak Rentals: what do users think?
Sue J: Spent a beautiful October afternoon kayaking. So much to explore - we plan to return in the summer! Easy to access, life jackets provided though parking was confusing.
Kira Soleil: Love it here and will be back for certain! They have lots of smaller lakes for kayaking and canoeing. People were friendly and clean grounds. Some good looking hiking spots too although we didn't have time to explore those. It was a little difficult to find exactly where to go for the canoes but I called. No one answered. Figured they were busy but they called back in a couple of minutes and instructed us! They even have life jackets for ya to use.Affordable. Clean. Friendly. Fun. Beautiful. What's not to love!?We look forward to coming back to get a full experience of the area!Canoeing in Hell!
Pamm Bakley: The owner Amy runs an honest, friendly and fun business renting canoes & kayaks out of Bruin Lake State Park. She helps me out when I needed extra equipment and went out of her way to accommodate my needs. I highly recommend this business. Enjoy being out in nature and on the water!
Moriah Smith: Great views and wonderful owners. We loved looking at all the houses and just spending some time on the water. Looking forward to our next trip.
Amanda M: Lovely experience at this family run spot - support local! A multitude of boats you can rent - canoes, sit on/sit in kayaks, tandems, and a lovely chain of lakes with wildlife to explore. Definitely worth checking out!!!
MaKayla McLaughlin: Great owners and great views! Spent my whole summer up there during covid and never felt more connected to nature. It’s great for a solo trip or a fun activity with a couple friends. Social distancing at the max while still enjoy the outdoors and your friends company
Cory Schneider: Hell Canoe Kayak and Rentals is the best! They are located in the beautiful Pinckney area. They are offering contactless service during the pandemic but will also transport you upon request. The owners are the best and so accommodating! Also very affordable. This is a must! You won’t regret it.
bailey dunn: Great service, fantastic attitude from employees and Owners, and absolute ease into the Hell Lakes chain. Super fun day on the water with my friends. Affordable for a fun outing. I’ve spent lots of time on Huron river (Ann arbor) and I can honestly say, take the drive out to Hell and rent some kayaks here. Cheaper rates too. Stopped by Halfmoon and was able to take a break on the beach. If you don’t have access to kayaks or a way to transport yours here...hit these guys up. Five stars homies!
Marsha Hill: Had a wonderful day. Beautiful lakes. Easy check in.

Village Canoe Rental: what do users think?
David Alexander: Great experience. Very well run.
Nathasja Taylor: Loved the whole experience, from the online booking (I love that you can specify the type of equipment on your reservation), to the actual river, and the interaction with the owners.. everything was professional, efficient, and super friendly!
Lisa T: Everyone here was so extremely helpful and kind. We were not able to be out long due to our daughter not being happy wearing a life vest, and though we said we didn't want a refund, they gave us one anyway. Also, the public "bathrooms" were so clean! They were clean and somehow even smelled nice. The launch area was clean and well kept. We are definitely adding this to the rotation of activities we will be doing on a regular basis.
Brittany Mobley: I love this place! It's very peaceful and inviting. The owners are super nice and down to earth! I'm not much of a lake swimmer, but it definitely serves it purpose for those of us that admires the art and relaxation kayaking.
Paul James: Everyone was very nice and most of all very helpful. We would highly tell everyone about Village Canoe rental and we will be back again! Our dog Bella especially love it!
Sara Domke: The staff is knowledgeable, well-organized and friendly, the rentals are clean and in great shape and everything moves swfitly and smoothly getting you in and off the river ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nancy Waineo: They were very friendly and helpful in helping us figure out how far we wanted to go down the river. Our kayak was good,we had a tandem. We didn't have any problem getting over the dam. The weather cooperate and we had a beautiful day to enjoy being outside on the river. We got picked up, called when we got to our pickup point and we didn't have a long wait for them to come.
Shannon Marie: Literally a hidden gem in the heart of Milford! Family owned and super friendly service! You can make your reservations online or call! The Huron River is peaceful and full of beautiful scenery. You can travel away from Milford or right into town! Stop in Central park and have a picnic or visit a local restaurant and shops! River's Edge Brewery is right there!
Skyzer Stermgeist: Saw some ducks.
Amanda Rae: Best experience every single time hands down. Super friendly, family owned business. I've been coming here for about 4 years now.
Richard Chritz: Nice place at a great point on the river. Lot with plenty of parking. This is an easy spot to kayak with a lazy partner :)
Felicia Nguyen: I had a great time on the water. They were very helpful and friendly! Don’t forget to say hi to nugget the dog if he’s there. They provided a map which was very helpful as it had estimated times. It was great that the price was flat and you could come back at closing. We went towards downtown Milford and docked our kayaks at the park and had lunch downtown Milford. We headed back towards state waters because we wanted to see more wildlife. If you were going to do the entire trip it would be about 5 to 6 hours. And you will need to paddle upstream at some point. We didn’t get to do the whole trip because we started at 11 and ended at 4 with an hour and a half lunch. I would suggest starting at 10 if you want to finish . River was nice and slow with wildlife. Lots of turtles, Herons, storks, ducks, and cranes. Bring sunscreen and water! They allow dogs- get the sit up top kayak.
Jack Reynaert: Great experience! Many of our guests who stay at our Airbnb say how wonderful this place is and that it is a great location on the river too.
Kris: We found our new favorite spot!!!! Well worth the hour drive! Owners were wonderful, the river was beautiful, and the wildlife was an extra bonus! Felt like we were in the U.P.
Joseph McKeon: Great time with friends on the water. Will recommend this place to all my friends
Paul Miller: Love coming here
Cindy Hawthorne: Wonderful people and service ❤️
Sandy Ayala: Bello lugar lastima k ese día se destrosara mi corazón
Adam Pastorek: I've been coming here for about 20 years, always had a good experience at this place.
Treaybousthe Chonaikai: Staff is extremely friendly and are super easy to work with! They will answer all your questions and help you choose the path and trip that's best for you!
Kamilah Degree: Excellent experience and the owners are wonderful!!!
