vadermask mass//retaliation: One of my favorite clothing stores in downtown Ann Arbor (second only to Sam's just down the street from Ragstock!). I have bought from this place an awesome pair of Levi's camoflouge pants ($15), a black nylon flight jacket (new, $22), several used but not used-up flannel shirts ($10), a few short & longsleeve checkered button up (brand new $15), and a brand new Rothco brand camoflouge t-shirt for $5!This store reminds me of The Cat's Meow which was on State Street, just off of Liberty. Used and new military-type clothing, punk & new wave fashion, and hipster clothes too! Palatable music playing and mostly non-pretentious employees here at Ragstock. I love it!

Cady Asburry: Verbena is such a cool boutique! I love that they are a small business/locally owned and they are super trendy. Highly recommend checking out their jewelry! And in the fall and winter, they have the best sweaters and jackets!
Angel: Now I have to start with the elephant in the room..THE PRICE TAG IS CRAZY HIGH! Those dresses u cen get any where and for one yard of fabric they wanted over $100.2 other costumers pointed out the same thing. In fact I have several articles of clothing from their line only I did not get them there nor for those prices much cheaper online same pattern material cut everything. How ever their staff really came through and saved their ⭐ rating or it would be 2 less. The hours are short but the staff was very pleasant and very helpful and I loved how they kindly showed me to a dressing room instead of saying hey we are about to close.nice cuth ladies well done. I very much liked that they offered to hold my stuff for a day or two tell I could come back for my return trip 3 ⭐ goes the the two ladies Tuesday 12/22
Houston Hemphill: If you’re either a POC or a shopper who cares about a reward system don’t go here. I’ve shopped here a few times and won’t be returning. The associate who helped me assumed I wouldn’t be returning or had never been there I guess. Whether that be because I am black or she was just slacking on her job I didn’t appreciate it. She rung my clothes up and just gave me a total so I was confused. In my head I’m thinking does she just expect me to not have an account here or not want me to have an account? Does she not want me to be a regular customer? and of course my mind goes to is it because I’m black? I just didn’t feel welcome. She was so happy to ask and assist everyone else in the store, who were white. So I had to ask her to put my name in for my points. At this point I just wanted to be anywhere but there so I paid for my shirt and left. Very disappointing service.
Noelle Lounsbury: My new favorite boutique in the Ann Arbor area! The staff is kind and was very attentive when I was trying on different sizes on a busy Saturday. They always have new items when I go in!
Gwenyth Jones: Let me just preface this by saying DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE.I came in to purchase a dress for a formal. They said I would be able to come back and return the dress if needed as long as I had a receipt, however they did not put a receipt in my bag. Then when I came back to return the dress I was blamed for their mistakes and told I could only return the item for a gift card. Additionally the worker was extremely hostile and did not know how to work her own cash register and had to call for help multiple times. After issuing the gift card they told me that I would not be able to use the gift card because “their machine was down,” essentially stealing $65 from me. Despite saying that they would reach out to me about the issue they never did and I had to call multiple times to resolve this issue. On the phone the worker called me rude (I don’t know how trying to get a refund is considered “rude”) and was extremely unhelpful. Finally they agreed to exchange the gift card for a different item (after 2 phone calls and 4 in store visits, I don’t know why they couldn’t have done this in the first place)This fiasco wasted me hours of time. Do yourself a favor and order a dress from somewhere else or head to a mall or basically anything but go to this store. If you must purchase something avoid interaction with Mary. She is completely clueless and obviously was not trained properly.edit:The store owner called me a day after to guilt trip me, offer various excuses, and when that didn’t work blatantly told me to the take review down and tried to bribe me. Unfortunately I will not be bribed.

I was scared to ask for a fitting room so I didn’t even buy the dress I was looking at. My friends all felt the same way, super uncomfortable. Super unprofessional and I don’t think I’ll be back.

Alex Beggs: The kindest, most big-hearted staff ever. Plus beautifully made, quality clothing you'll have for a lifetime. It's a men's-focused shop yes, but I've bought gorgeous sweaters, sweatshirts, and sunglasses here that you can't find damned near anywhere else unless you're in Japan a lot for some extremely cool reason. I love to stop in to see what's new...but also because I just want to be friends with Eric and Amos. Hope this isn't creepy.

Jake Lawrence: By far the best spot in the area for men’s fashion. Offers incredible and rare brands with a wide array of styles available that you won’t find in a mall or a department store. The store itself is aesthetically pleasing as well. However, it’s the owner/staff that really set this place apart. In my multiple visits, Eric has gone above and beyond to ensure I left feeling satisfied. He provides suggestions and ideas for the clothing but doesn’t make you feel like you’re being pressured into purchasing anything which I sincerely appreciate. I can’t say enough good things about this place. 5 stars all around.

Eric and Kevin have somehow managed to assemble a premier men’s boutique in the heart of the Midwest and curate a beautiful assortment of very fine clothing items from a select list of different makers.The atmosphere that Eric is able to create in-store is why I keep coming back. He is able to be incredibly helpful, quickly grabbing sizes and making style suggestions, but also reserved. He allows you to experience the store for yourself.The garments are clean and folded neatly. The organization and layout is intuitive and allows you to easily find what you’re looking for or browse for fun.If you make a good impression, Eric may throw in the signature “Today” shirt of the day!Although I no longer live in Ann Arbor, I still shop their impeccable website on the regular. Wish I could rate this place higher than 5/5 stars!

Christopher Scott: The most satisfying retail experience I've had to date?I'm the kind of guy who gets intimidated easily, to the point where I pass on going into all sorts of cool stores just because I think to myself "I am an imposter by even stepping inside." Lucky for me, I was with a friend who intended for us to go in.I knew just from looking through the window that there was no shortage of styles I wanted to look at and try on. It's such a rare pleasure these days to be able to actually try on clothes, find your size, feel them out, and know if you want them when you walk out the door, rather than knowing you're stacking up a bunch of returns with yet another online order.Once Eric saw the styles I was leaning into he kept the options coming, even pulling stuff from the back that wasn't on display. And he emphasized I should feel NO PRESSURE to buy, which I needed to hear. I walked out with four items and am genuinely happy I went in.In short, solid range of styles, great store design, genuine help from staff/owner, fun times.Just stop in.

I had asked some questions about what style she would like to see me in and only got vague answers. All I had to really look good in was a single grey undershirt. I walk in with it, mention I'm looking for a "layered look" and instantly the two gentlemen took actual time to grab different options. they asked what I liked and I asked for their opinions. It was honesty all the way. Not a single time did I feel like they were trying to "upsell" or "convince me to drop alot of cash". It was all sincere.Pricewise yeah it is up there. But its fantastic materials, and they go out of their way to teach you how to handle said materials. The proper way to wash them and take care of them. It was money very well spent, I don't think I have ever looked as good as I did on that date and thankfully she agreed as well :)So huge kudos to everyone there! I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to help me figure out what looks good, and how to properly take care of it! I look forward to stopping by again!

He was very knowledgeable and provided helpful guidance not only with the suit, but with the shirt and tie stylings as well. I felt very comfortable knowing I was purchasing a high quality product that would be a great investment. The alterations were very quick (it took about a week), and the suit fit perfectly. I received so many compliments about my look on the big day - thank you Bill!
Midwest MD: Looked like quality merchandise at a significant price, but I was in the store for 15 min while the sales person chatted with another customer who was on their way out of the store. Apparently they were not interested in making another sale.

Gail Kroeplin: I don’t typically write reviews for products but this is one I strongly stand by. I use this bag as my everyday bag and my diaper bag and I get compliments on it all the time! I’ve used a couple different kinds of diaper bags now and this so far has been my absolute favorite. It’s so chic and has every compartment you could think of.
