McKenna Jamison: Purchased items online and returned them. After leaving the store, I checked my bank statement to see that no money was returned back to my account. Called the store and was told nothing could be done until I contact their customer service line that closes at 4pm. On top of that, their sizes are weird. You could purchase your normal size in their clothes and it'll be way too small. This store needs more "true to size" items as it doesn't have them. Workers were polite but overall the quality and fit of items as well as return issues is enough for me to not come back.

I was a bit insecure going into the store because you walk by and you see skinny manekins in the window along with tight fitted clothing in the store just walking by the store. Not once was I approached or even greeted. It was quite clear that I was not the typical woman to shop at the store, but I wanted to grab something a little more sexy for a trip. I asked for sizing help and was hoping receive advice on styling, unfortunately my questions were met with short and dismissive answers. The employees are rude, dismissive and unpleasant. I will not be visiting again.

EMILY Almond: As a high school student who goes to school for 7 hours and works 5 hours after school I called to make sure the store was open on my only day off and she was extremely rude I had to repeat myself over and over and eventually she told me they would be open until 7 when I said thank you 5 times she kept screaming that she couldn't hear me and hung up on me at that point I didn't. Want to go to the store when we got there at 540 and as soon as I got to the door they were locked and the lights shut off the customer service is horrible and these people have absolutely no good qualities I was excited to shop here after it was hyped up and I will never shop here due to the staff

Camille Jones: Similar to the last reviewer I also had poor customer service today between 4 and 5pm. The lady assisting me had a very nasty attitude that was completely uncalled for.First, I went up to politely ask her if she could pull a dress down for me that was hanging up high and she jumped very dramatically as if I had spooked her and asked with an attitude what did I need help with. After repeating myself she tells me to stay put then storms off to do something else. I didn't notice when she came back initially because it was very busy and I was expecting her to return to the spot I was standing at. I then looked up to see/hear her bent over and screaming at me from a distance asking me "Which one??!!" like some kind of crazy person. I rightfully got upset by the public display that she was making in the store and clarified which dress I wanted. She then acted like she was apologizing but then immediately got very anxious and upset repeatedly asking me which size dress, barely allowing me to respond before shoving a size one into my hands.Now, at this point, I'm like clearly this girl has issues and I was going to just let it slide. But then she had the nerve to start gossiping about me to one of the girls at the cashier right in front of me. Saying things like "When you work long hours then yeah you're going to have an attitude... so like no I don't care ..." and the main perpetrator whole time keeps sneaking smug looks at me.It was completely unprofessional and they should be penalized!

Ashley Devore: No one was in the store and because I didn't look like the type of girl that would shop there no one and I mean no one out of the 3 employees said a word to me. No Hello or may I help you... nothing. I will never step foot in this store again.

Amaya Sarah: So I usually get really good customer service here but today was not the case. The workers were very rude and dismissive toward me. I was very polite in asking for help but Instead of answering my questions the workers ignored me and instead decided to gossip together by the register. I again asked politely where items were. They gave me little to no information. I found myself on a wild goose chase, aimlessly searching all around the store for specific items, not having any idea where they were. This next scenario, I was trying a top on and ended up needing a bigger size in the fitting room, I didn’t want to walk out in the clothes I was trying on so I politely asked the worker if she could find my top in a size up. She was very rude and snarky, and pretty much told me to go and find the item myself. I personally love the clothes at Windsor and their selection but after this most recent experience, I don’t know if I want to go back there anymore. I don’t like the vibe in there. Specifically from the ladies by the cash register, they were for sure the biggest part of my poor experience.

David Sims: This place has non existent customer service. I was browsing for 30 minutes without a sales person or employee speaking to me. I found a suit so I just took a picture of it and will purchase elsewhere.

Archer Horner: I walked in with essentially only one option: buying a new suit. Prom was Friday and I walked in Wednesday, no time to tailor mine or order a rental. I talked with Jason, and what I received was quick, knowledgeable, and thoughtful work. He took my measurements, and within 15 minutes had put together the suit I requested with attention to detail and quality. I have never had such an effortless interaction when buying a suit, this was truly an experience I would recommend to anyone. I'm sure if I needed a rental or tailoring, the service would've been equally impressive. Thank you for the suit, guys! Will definitely be back in the future.

Tim Burtell: Went in to get fitted for a wedding and was told to use the QR code at the door to enter the queue. After waiting 45 mins without my place in the queue going down I went back in and got measured almost immediately. Only until the older gentleman helping me told me to wait for a minute and didn’t come back. Another employee restarted the task and finished measuring me. Poor experience overall.

One I would recommend everyone else avoid like the plague if you actually care.

Carlos Cortizo: I couldn’t believe you didn't have enough suits or at least a variation of colors or sizes or even fit types, but I'm not really here for that, is understandable sometimes it happens, I'm here for the lady that "helped" me, at the beginning they were busy not much staff I get that, it took around 20 minutes for somebody to help me, then she came over, apparently she was in a hurry or something, she gave me 3 different blazers, none of them close to the color and cut type I asked, she just got me something that is my size, she went looking for more, and bring a couple more, at this point not really 5 minutes into it, I can see she was frustrated, they didn't fit me well and the one that fit me was not the color I needed, so when she realized that she wasn't sell anything her face totally changed, and I said is there any way that this color or something similar is available online, she cuts me off there and said 'no, I don't think so this is the only thing we have', her attitude towards me wasn't really nice, so just because she is not selling she is not being helpful?, seriously our whole interaction was less than 10 minutes, and half of the time she got her annoyed face so my wife and I decided to leave and on my way out I saw a nice blazer I knew it wasn't my size I just wanted to see the design and the color to see if I can find something similar somewhere else, of course she made sure I know that won’t fit me by yelling from the other side of the store "that one won't fit you is not your size", she also made sure I won’t be returning to that store, seriously is this the type of behavior you leave your associates have? I don’t remember her name she had a tattoo on her arm and like a blue dress. Really Rude!

tim rishel: First time in employees were very helpful picked up some new dress cloths was a pleasant experience. Only issue i saw was they had alot of adds about sale items. But those items were only for singles. Example yes a pair of slacks were on sale but only a single pair of a very off size. So very misleading

Serena J: I swear, never again. This place is always under staffed, my husband has only ever had one good staff member who actually did their job was barely helped. Today at a wedding that he is THE BEST MAN in he put on his tux to discover that during the hemming process the alteration person had sewn one pant leg closed, but not until he put his foot through and the entire hem ripped. Having this kind of mess last minute is the last thing anyone needs for a special event. So disappointing.

I went to renaissance and was so impressed with the quality and knowledge of Mr. Size. He fitted me in an amazing Italian suit. I look like Zack effron in it if I may say. (only way older and balder ). Anyway high quality great work fair price. Highly recommended, I will have all of my suits made here.

Kay Raye: I went to Mimi's with my family for my first time trying on wedding dresses. I had such a good time! Getting undressed in front of a stranger can be very uncomfortable, but they made sure I felt respected. They asked me if I would be comfortable with a consultant in the dressing room, or if I would rather step in the dresses first before they helped. They also made sure I was comfortable before helping me adjust dresses in more private areas. They were very busy and I had three consultants who helped me during my 1.5 hour appointment. When a new consultant arrived, they asked me about my comfort level in getting changed too. I really appreciate the consistency. They were nice, welcoming, and very accommodating. I chose about 12 dresses to try on because I was so excited, and they urged me to pick any dresses I was drawn to. I told the consultant that I was asking my sisters and cousins to be in my wedding party, and they gave us some space when I did so and were flexible. When we were done, our consultant took pictures of my family and I, too.As for the selection, love it! There was something for every vibe. When I expressed a preference, they found gowns that matched. I mentioned always wanting to try on a black wedding dress, even though I knew I wouldn't wear one. Moments later, my consultant found the dress and said it was okay to try things on for fun, maybe I might surprise myself and go with it! The consultants were wonderful at matching veils, giving feedback, and letting me take my time.The shop is beautiful! I loved the creativity in their decor, how they organized the bridal rooms, how they displayed and organized their dresses, and it was very clean.Ultimately, I went with a dress I found at an appointment I booked after Mimi's. I feel bad because I was so excited to have found my dress that I forgot to cancel a follow-up appointment at Mimi's that Saturday! So sorry!All in all, what a wonderful experience. I wish I could relive it because it truly is a special shop. Thank you for making my day special! I will never forget it!

Not only did I find both of my wedding dresses there, but I also lost 40 lbs in between the time I picked out the dresses and the wedding day, and their alterations department (Mai and Rachelle) were the absolute best! They reduced my dream dresses at least 2-3 sizes and the price point of alterations was incomparable to any other place I’ve been to. The entire team was so awesome and attentive to ever little change I wanted to make to achieve my dream look!! Jelusn: You will find your dress here! I am so incredibly picky and truly didn’t think I would ever find a dress for my wedding. I had tried on at least 50 and had heard great things about Mimi’s. All true!! The staff is kind, personable, patient and I did not feel any stress at all during the process. I found a couture sample that needed to be tailored from a size 12 to a size 4. There were so many little intricacies to the bodice and straps, but they were able to tailor it perfectly. I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life! I cannot recommend Mimi’s enough!

A couple weeks ago I suggested the new hours to Google (Sun 12-5 and M-Sat 12-6), someone at corporate must have declined them. I went back today because their hours on their company website were listed as open til 9, only to find that they are still closing at 6 every day. What a joke, I just want to make a return.

Betsy Orleans: Was in the store tonight and I heard a gentleman ask to try on a shirt. We were the only costumers in the store it was 6:40pm. The guy working told him no. He said, they already cleaned them & were closing in 20 mins. 20 mins was obviously not long enough to try on a shirt. I saw a dress I liked but just walked out. All the workers were rude.

They don't update their Google maps store hours which obviously results in a lot of people headed over the false expectation of them being open but they don't seem concerned and haven't fixed it for months. Today I got here before the 6pm time posted on their store front.... But they had closed early.

L W: I had the experience as other reviewers. I attempted to visit the store on 11/14 around 4:30 PM and it was closed. I attempted to visit the store a second time on 11/20 around 3:30 PM and it was closed. Either time there was no sign on the door or anything indicating why it was closed. Further, I also experienced the same thing mentioned from a previous reviewer about fitting rooms being "closed", but then some shoppers are allowed to use them. I went in the fitting room given there was no signage that they were closed and other people were using them. I was then told they were closed, but the other people were allowed to stay. Call the store before you go to ensure it is actually open during their business hours and I have no idea if the fitting rooms are closed or open.

Anthony Castro: I’ve been trying to return a pair of jeans I bought in the wrong size because because they don’t have a fitting room anymore. I’ve been to this location 3 separate times now to try and return these. Their computers were down the first time. They closed early at 6 the second time. I tried in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday when they were supposedly open and they were closed again. I don’t even want to exchange them anymore, I just want to return them to be done with them.

Char: They “temporarily “ moved to a smaller store unit way over a year ago and everything is crammed together. I can’t tell where the men’s clothes end and the women’s clothes begin. It was so nice when it was in a bigger store . This wasn’t supposed to be a permanent move. It used to be one of my favorite Express stores.

Natalie Angell: Came into this store to do a return after an associate at a different outlet store told me that I could return any items at regular express stores within 60 days. I came to this location the next day and was told that I could not return my items and that the return policy had changed (even though it was literally the day before that I purchased the items). The associates were nice, HOWEVER both the associate and the manager did not seem to know when their own return policy changed??? Multiple locations don’t seem to know what the return policy is.

Edwin: I spoke with Jenny, one of the store managers. I asked her if I could make an exchange as I accidentally purchased the wrong size when I ordered online. She was so condescending in her whole response. She said, “like I don’t even understand your question. We don’t have that item” and she hung up on me! Express, you can do better than an impatient teenager with no customer service skills.

The store itself is aesthetically pleasing as well. However, it’s the owner/staff that really set this place apart. In my multiple visits, Eric has gone above and beyond to ensure I left feeling satisfied. He provides suggestions and ideas for the clothing but doesn’t make you feel like you’re being pressured into purchasing anything which I sincerely appreciate. I can’t say enough good things about this place. 5 stars all around.

Eric and Kevin have somehow managed to assemble a premier men’s boutique in the heart of the Midwest and curate a beautiful assortment of very fine clothing items from a select list of different makers.The atmosphere that Eric is able to create in-store is why I keep coming back. He is able to be incredibly helpful, quickly grabbing sizes and making style suggestions, but also reserved. He allows you to experience the store for yourself.The garments are clean and folded neatly. The organization and layout is intuitive and allows you to easily find what you’re looking for or browse for fun.If you make a good impression, Eric may throw in the signature “Today” shirt of the day!Although I no longer live in Ann Arbor, I still shop their impeccable website on the regular. Wish I could rate this place higher than 5/5 stars!

Christopher Scott: The most satisfying retail experience I've had to date?I'm the kind of guy who gets intimidated easily, to the point where I pass on going into all sorts of cool stores just because I think to myself "I am an imposter by even stepping inside." Lucky for me, I was with a friend who intended for us to go in.I knew just from looking through the window that there was no shortage of styles I wanted to look at and try on. It's such a rare pleasure these days to be able to actually try on clothes, find your size, feel them out, and know if you want them when you walk out the door, rather than knowing you're stacking up a bunch of returns with yet another online order.Once Eric saw the styles I was leaning into he kept the options coming, even pulling stuff from the back that wasn't on display. Hal Jordan: Lets start off by saying I personally have zero sense in fashion. But my fears of finding a perfect outfit were laid to rest once i walked through the doors.So I had a big date coming up. I had asked some questions about what style she would like to see me in and only got vague answers. All I had to really look good in was a single grey undershirt. I walk in with it, mention I'm looking for a "layered look" and instantly the two gentlemen took actual time to grab different options. they asked what I liked and I asked for their opinions. It was honesty all the way. Not a single time did I feel like they were trying to "upsell" or "convince me to drop alot of cash". It was all sincere.Pricewise yeah it is up there. But its fantastic materials, and they go out of their way to teach you how to handle said materials. The proper way to wash them and take care of them. It was money very well spent, I don't think I have ever looked as good as I did on that date and thankfully she agreed as well :)So huge kudos to everyone there! I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to help me figure out what looks good, and how to properly take care of it! I look forward to stopping by again!

After the factI quit working there do to MAC Counter Department I didn’t receive proper training. I was just thrown in , I was told using an old cashier register was enough training for me . Over all once I called today to Macys I spoke with a lady who was ABSOLUTELY the only person who treated me with kindness and not say mean things behind my back because I asked for help. I was so glad to hear her voice Ms. Diane o lord Ms. YOUNG WAS ABSOLUTELY NICE AND KIND AS WELL . But over all I just want my GRATIS AWARD that’s the only reason I called . Tyrone Johnson: Most Macy's are always a nice and nostalgic visit for me. First, they have nice things, very modern and attractive. But also because, when my German wife and I lived in Dearborn a long time ago, we used to go to Macy's just to stroll and enjoy seeing the nice things, most of which we could not afford. Then when our first child was born we'd always go to the top floor of Hudsons afterwards for a lovely smooth yogurt ice-cream. Nice memories for me. So, I enjoy most Macy's shopping stores. And, I usually find a good deal and something unusual.. This time too.

Chiquita Berg: With less than 1 week away to my destination wedding, my original seamstress came down with a COVID infection prior to making final revisions on my reception dress and was not going to be able to complete it. Scrambling, I called over 20 seamstresses in the hopes that I would find someone who could help me. Unfortunately, I had no luck, everyone was swamped as we were nearing the height of wedding season. But I was persistent and eventually was able to reach Heather at Heather’s Place in Ann Arbor. I explained my situation to her and initially she said that she would not likely be able to help me, but feeling sorry for me, she said, “Can you come over now and let me take a look”? Feeling hopeful, I dropped everything and immediately rushed to Ann Arbor with my dress in tow. She quickly pinned me and evaluated the dress. I knew it was a long shot, but not making any promises, she said she’d see what she could do. My reception dress was a feathered Jovani dress with lots of beading and detail and unfortunately it was a nearly 2 sizes too big, so it was going to be a challenge. But Heather was absolutely amazing and was so compassionate, she worked so hard and really went out of her way to make sure I would get the dress in time. In fact, she wasn’t even going to be able to get it done prior to my flight departure, so I had to have a friend, who was traveling the following day, pick it up for me. But it was PERFECT! Heather, words cannot even begin to express how grateful I am. I know that this was not an easy thing for you to do and I am overwhelmed by your generosity and compassion. Thank you so much!
