Hilary Braley: First off, the desserts here are outstanding. I've eaten in, but I'm writing about my take-out experience. I called at the last minute, trying to order a handful of desserts for an event the next day - so they'd need to be able to keep overnight. The challenge was that I really needed one of them to be a creme brulee. I talked it out with the gentleman over the phone and he was willing to work with me so that I could pick up what was basically a deconstructed creme brulee with the understanding that a) I'd need to torch it myself and b) the presentation would not be something they'd ordinarily send out the door. Well, it worked out perfectly! It kept and traveled well, reconstructed nicely and, most importantly, was freaking delicious. (As were the cheesecakes and the chocolate dessert.)

Rav Raza Malik: We went to Dolce Vita and not the chophouse. Once you let them know that you are going to Dolce Vita you are magically the least important customer. The pictures on Google for Dolce Vita are completely deceptive. Desserts do no look this fancy and the place in the basement is definitely not fancy. Its just good for a cigar lounge but that’s about it. It was my birthday and it really killed the mood!

Ryan Ireland: It was late at night, my then-girlfriend (and now wife) were stuffed. We had eaten and sampled our way across town for two days. But then we passed this place--a dessert restaurant. How could we resist? This was a wise decision. She ordered a chocolate cake with raspberry something or other. I ordered tiramisu. Both were incredibly decadent and well worth the stop. Do yourself a favor and eat a little less at dinner, so you can stop here afterward.

Joe Colon: Four of us stopped in after dinner for dessert. We had the tiramisu (below average - 2.5) and the chocolate decadence (4.5 stars due mainly to the sorbet). The tiramisu was bland and tasted like someone forgot to soak the ladyfingers in the expresso. Also, it was weird having it served in a glass. The chocolate was delicious, but the blackberry was absolutely "decadent" with a strong, sweet flavor - mouthwatering! The place doubles as a cigar bar and, though we did not partake, the women were upset by the lack of sufficient ventilation as they could smell the smoke clear on the other side of the room. However, I will say that the atmosphere is just what you want to relax after dinner - deep, co.fortable chairs with an intimate setting. I recommend the place, but don't order the tiramisu.

M Nedloc: If you like small chocolate confections then this can be your new go to place for those chocolate cravings. Plenty of parking, although you must pay up to the designated times unless you know someone I don’t. Located in Nickels Arcade, there is a small shop called Bon Bon Bon and they have a wonderful selection of small chocolates amongst different flavors and aesthetics. They arrange them visibly so you can see each individual chocolate with their name and with a description containing its contents. They have their usual popular flavors and they do switch out and or add more options every so often and holidays to switch up the taste. The workers here are kind and can assist with any questions about the store. After choosing your chocolates they are all grouped and personally packaged, cutesy packaging I might add. After deciding which chocolates you’d like to devour, they do have merchandise they sell as well that range from hats, sweatshirts, accessories and more. I saw this shop randomly on my lunch break and I am glad that I did because after carefully choosing which 6 chocolates I wanted I came back a day or two later to buy more and to get extras to take home. Mind you, I live in a different state so I was a bit worried, but they traveled really well with me. If you like chocolate, do it. Do it.

All of us immediately fell in love with the store, and of course the chocolate it has to offer.First of all, the appearance is amazing! Each one is like a piece of art. Absolutely pretty! Also the top of the chocolate represents the flavor and the story behind it. Can tell they put a lot of thinking toward it. When you take a bite, the cross-section is equally pretty.Secondly, the packaging is very innovative - using cardboard material that easily adaptive to different sizes. So creative and it works perfectly.Last but not least, the taste. I tried a lot of these creative artisan chocolate places, most of them taste ok but not amazing. This place’s chocolate, however, gave me tons of surprises. The taste just works. Not too sweet, with a kicker or two. Again, amazing!Highly recommended. Worth coming here just for this store.Ps, they have online shop~

Deb Gru: Not for us. Banana pudding is made with cool whip- no pudding. Cupcakes are not fresh but there is a great variety. Cream cheese frosting on the carrot cake cupcake was awesome! Cheesecake bar was not what was expected- didn’t finish it. Place was busy. There is a bench seat with 3 sm tables and a few chairs and a small bar against the the front window. Quality wasn’t worth the money in our opinion. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is the third time I've walked in at noon on a Wednesday to get cupcakes for my afternoon team meeting, and the staff doesn't acknowledge you or say, " I'll be there." They continued doing other tasks while I stood there for five minutes, and once again, I walked out and when to Cinnaholic.

Maddy K.: I come here often, but I was so disappointed today by the bad hygiene. I ordered a bagel, and the man who toasted my bagel was literally cleaning/sweeping the floor and without washing his hands or changing his gloves after cleaning, he touched my bagel with the same gloves and put cream cheese on it. I was so lost for words that I came out without saying anything, but I had to throw out the bagel. I’ve ordered bagels or bagel sammies often here (as well as cupcakes and donuts), but never paid that close attention to the kitchen until today. Please train the employees properly about hygiene practices and not touching anything dirty while preparing food. I probably won’t be returning anytime soon after this experience.
