Ashley Yuill: With less than a month to go before my twice-postponed backyard wedding, I called up Norton's-Chelsea Flower Shop with only a vague idea of what kind of bouquet I wanted. Tim was a pleasure to work with and brought my hazy vision to life! My bouquet was perfect and the customer service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend this flower shop.
University Business Center: I needed flowers delivered to a memorial service the following day, by 2pm.Unfortunately, I was calling the Friday before Mother's Day, and the first three florists I called were no longer taking any orders for the weekend. Chelsea Flower Shop was able to fit me in, and the lovely flowers were delivered in plenty of time the next day. I'm deeply appreciative.
Margie Peterson: I purchased two $140 arrangements for deliver over the past 2 months to friends. The first was lovely. The second was a thoroughly bizarre composition- they attempted to do a contemporary arrangement and it missed the mark entirely. I never thought a flower arrangement could be ugly, but they managed to do just that. I emailed them to discuss (rather than publicly rating them) - no response. Won’t use them again. Don’t recommend.

Initially I was disappointed in the arrangement but as you can see in the comments this was to make the arrangement beautiful on all sides. Delivery was timely and I can appreciate the variance once explained. Going to 4 stars.

It's a local, ethical, gorgeous shop. Working with Dani for my wedding was genuinely one of my favorite parts of planning my wedding. The details and love that they put into our wedding day was a huge piece in creating the magical day that it was. Would recommend 10/10 for any floral needs of any size.

Nicole Milne: My grandma turned 90 this weekend, and I was not able to attend her party, but the folks at University Flower Shop still helped me share my love for my grandma from afar! The online ordering process was easy, and on the day of delivery, they didn't just take them to her door, they saw the signs for her drive-thru party happening just down the street and delivered them into her arms! Our family who were present with grandma were so delighted by the delivery person and told me over and over how beautiful the bouquet is. I asked for some tulips to be included to honor our Dutch heritage which they did beautifully! We are such happy customers, and my family plan to use this shop again in the future! Thank you!
Vanessa Holmes: Ordered flowers on Monday am. Told they could not deliver until next day. I was ok with that, but they didn’t disclose they were not going to deliver till close to 5pm! This was to a hospital. So when they got there she was discharged. They left me a msg saying call back in the am. Now 3 days out… I call, her home was outside of their service area, and I was told, “This is good your card was not charged yet so we can just keep the flowers”. Leaving me to go thru the process to find another florist 3 days after I ordered from them. Very poor customer service for an issue they caused.

Andrew Hanzel: So, I ordered a small bouquet for my daughter’s birthday on the day before ( since she lives around the corner from this shop) On her birthday, the aforementioned bouquet never arrived which was disappointing as well as embarrassing…when I called the shop to enquire, I was given the‘I know nothing ‘ response from the shop and the pass-the-buck instruction to the HQ shop in the next town where upon I received the same treatment…I persevered and upon enquiries to the on line network in Arkansas was able to find out the Norton Chelsea shop didn’t have the product so just cancelled the order…No phone call…no text…no email….apparently they think operating in a slovenly fashion is acceptable in the emotional communication business…It is not…customers rely on florists to convey congratulations as well as condolences and a breech of this trust is totally unacceptable…take your business elsewhere…

Kate Brickley: I am very disappointed in the birthday arrangement that was delivered to my daughters friend. I set a $50 budget and asked for roses and a spring theme. There was one rose, one tulip and sprays of very inexpensive flowers. With delivery the cost was over $65. My best friend is a florist in Grand Rapids and was mortified when she saw the photos ofthe arrangement. Would not recommend.

I put the order through before they opened, was given a confirmation email & then received an email stating they had been delivered at about noon today. The flowers are always high quality and they have the service to match. My latest experience was getting a last minute same-day delivery as easy as could be, and it just reminded me why we continue to come here.
Kathleen O'Brien: I ordered a custom arrangement from out-of-state, over the phone, that was a bit unusual. The designer "got" what I wanted, and to my amazement, it was delivered to my friend in just over an hour (!) and was everything I'd hoped for.
Billy Collins: Was told the flowers would be "beautiful for 2-3 weeks" because they were "premium" they crumbled in 4 days. They looked like crap when delivered and $117.00 for a dozen roses? Are you kidding me? The whole experience was pathetic to say the least. Never again...The issue I had has since been rectified. They went above and beyond to fix everything. Norton's strives to ensure the satisfaction of every customer. They took the time to call me 2 months after my review to correct the problem. Great service! And great business!
Carol S: It was a joy to work with Tim Galea. He made my daughter's vision for her wedding flowers a reality. His suggestions were excellent and the flowers were even lovelier than we expected (and we had high expectations!) They provided fabulous customer service throughout the planning process and on the day of the wedding.
Charlie Patton: I tried to send flowers to my girlfriend who was in town for business and got very sick. I was not aware that her room was under the name of a colleague, and in the confusion, the delivery man called her, and even though she verified her room number, he told her it didn't exist, and that she would have to come down to the front desk. When she said that she couldn't because she was sick, he sarcastically asked if she needed an ambulance and then hung up. When I called the store to find out what happened, they claimed that he had actually been asking if she needed medical attention. The fact that he hung up immediately after asking or that he did not, in fact, call an ambulance, didn't seem to register. While they did apologize about the mix up with the room, they refused to consider the possibility that the drivers comments were anything but well-intentioned. They were very polite, but I felt like they basically just dismissed my side of the story.

We gave them creative freedom with some inspiration pictures/words and Sophia/the team executed it perfectly!Sophia came day of and set everything up so efficiently. Of many headaches through the day, Sophia and the flowers were not one of them! It was a relief to have such a reliable vendor working day of for set-up and tear down. An added bonus is that they source their flowers locally! I’m so grateful for them and highly recommend them!

The owner answers email super fast though, so it’s not a huge deal.I think if the website was clearer about their hours and the ordering process, there might be less confusion.
