Nicole Milne: My grandma turned 90 this weekend, and I was not able to attend her party, but the folks at University Flower Shop still helped me share my love for my grandma from afar! The online ordering process was easy, and on the day of delivery, they didn't just take them to her door, they saw the signs for her drive-thru party happening just down the street and delivered them into her arms! Our family who were present with grandma were so delighted by the delivery person and told me over and over how beautiful the bouquet is. I asked for some tulips to be included to honor our Dutch heritage which they did beautifully! We are such happy customers, and my family plan to use this shop again in the future! Thank you!

Vanessa Holmes: Ordered flowers on Monday am. Told they could not deliver until next day. I was ok with that, but they didn’t disclose they were not going to deliver till close to 5pm! This was to a hospital. So when they got there she was discharged. They left me a msg saying call back in the am. Now 3 days out… I call, her home was outside of their service area, and I was told, “This is good your card was not charged yet so we can just keep the flowers”. Leaving me to go thru the process to find another florist 3 days after I ordered from them. Very poor customer service for an issue they caused.

Tim was a pleasure to work with and brought my hazy vision to life! My bouquet was perfect and the customer service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend this flower shop.

University Business Center: I needed flowers delivered to a memorial service the following day, by 2pm.Unfortunately, I was calling the Friday before Mother's Day, and the first three florists I called were no longer taking any orders for the weekend. Chelsea Flower Shop was able to fit me in, and the lovely flowers were delivered in plenty of time the next day. I'm deeply appreciative.

Margie Peterson: I purchased two $140 arrangements for deliver over the past 2 months to friends. The first was lovely. The second was a thoroughly bizarre composition- they attempted to do a contemporary arrangement and it missed the mark entirely. I never thought a flower arrangement could be ugly, but they managed to do just that. I emailed them to discuss (rather than publicly rating them) - no response. Won’t use them again. Don’t recommend.

I gave her a price range and some inspiration photos (incredibly vague on my part), and she worked freaking magic! She sent us an estimate with a list of types of flowers, and we didn't like one, and that seemed to be the perfect info for her. The day of the wedding is when I first met Tracy, and her arrangements were stunning. Simply perfect. I'm posting a couple of photos, though since our professional ones aren't in yet, this does not do them justice!!! I included one under the arch that we rented from Tracy, so you can all see the beautiful asymmetrical design she did on it. Just fantastic. She was flexible, creative, and true to any vision I might have had (though the best touches were without doubt her own!). 100% recommend! Also, she worked so well with the venue and other vendors that I had nothing to worry about the day of. Not a thing 3

Jonathan Troost: Tracy did all of the floral work for our wedding, and it was a great choice. She was one of those vendors who you sit down to meet with, and they somehow just read your mind. Seriously, my wife had a very particular type of imagery in mind, but doesn’t know a lot about flowers and was worried we wouldn’t be able to describe it well, but right away Tracy knew what she wanted and did an *excellent* job with it. She’s very upfront with her pricing, and can help come up with several different options to fit in your budget. Just stop reading these reviews and book her. You’ve got a lot of other things to figure out for your wedding, and flowers won’t be one of them if you call Tracy.

Cassie Eisenstein: We had Tracy do our flowers for our October wedding, they were amazing! She is a great person to work with and really is unique in her selections. From the bouquets to the table centerpieces everything was perfect and not a detail was left unfinished. If you want gorgeous flowers, use Tracy at Red Poppy!!

Kate Burnette: Tracy from Red Poppy Floral Designs was great to work with and my flowers were gorgeous! we received so many compliments. I was an out of town bride so most of my communications with Tracy were via email or over Skype, but she really was able to nail my vision. I changed my colors from our original conversation and Tracy was able to rework the plan for flowers and still keep it within our original budget. Because I got married in the fall my options were more limited (I originally pictured peonies and dahlias before I realized they were out of season), however Tracy was able to come up with different ideas more beautiful than I could have imagined. The flowers had such beautiful color combinations and textures. My advice is to have a vision but be flexible and allow Tracy to bring in her own ideas and flare-- You won’t be disappointed!

Elizabeth Wakefield: Tracy (owner of Red Poppy Floral Design) is not only an amazing floral designer, she's also a lovely person to work with during the stressful wedding-planning process. Tracy is imaginative, thoughtful, responsive, and creative, and her attention to detail is outstanding. I told her I wanted to play with fall colors for my fall wedding, but didn't want anything too harvesty. She came up with the idea of playing around with fall jewel tones, and adding in a pop of blue to match my bridesmaid dress color. When she sent me her ideas for the different arrangements, I was amazed at how beautiful and sophisticated everything looked. It was clear that Tracy had really listened to my (very ineloquent) description of what I thought I wanted for flowers and then created arrangement ideas that were an exact fit for my wedding. On my wedding day, almost all of my guests said something about the gorgeous flowers, and they really added to the day.On a personal note: we found out a week before the wedding that one of my grandfathers was going to be able to leave his nursing home for the wedding, and I asked Tracy if there was any way she could make his boutonniere early so I could give it to him. She was gracious and accommodating, and I was able to know that on my wedding day, my grandpa had the boutonniere next to his bed. A nurse later told my father that the morning of my wedding, my grandpa pointed to it and said 'she's getting married today.'Hiring Tracy to do my wedding flowers was one of the best decisions I made during wedding planning. I would recommend her hands-down to anyone looking for gorgeous, interesting flower arrangements from someone who really knows what she's doing, and has an obvious passion for floral design!
