Katie Elizabeth: Pet friendly hotel that has clean rooms. 2 stars because of my experience in the breakfast area. There is no sign or any person waiting near the breakfast area to inform guests that the buffet is $20. I had a plate of 4 pieces of bacon and I was yelled at across the hotel lobby in front of other guests and staff by the buffet staff member that her buffet was $20. I handed her the plate of bacon and said she could have it back and she aggressively took it from me and threw it in the trash. I told her that there should be a sign that says the buffet costs $20 for hotel guests, and she snapped back at me “yea, I’ve told them that a lot”. Typically a breakfast buffet is free for hotel guests, or there is clear indication that there is a separate breakfast restaurant in a hotel. This interaction with this buffet employee did not make me feel like a valued guest of this hotel and definitely made what would have been a 5 star review this 2 star review. And we discussed how much we were enjoying our experience here and would be repeat customers, but not after this experience.

Tre D: Love staying @ Marriot for the style...and this hotel puts the sí in desígn. Loved the look of this hotel lobby.....really sets the bar high for the room. I didnt have time to enjoy the lounge on my brief & busy stay, but it looked very inviting. Gym were also on par with the lobby lots of good working equpment, well lit room, and spare warer/towels avail. Roo. Was spacious and clean.My only issue here is the same issue I have with most hotels...How difficult is it to install self-close/soft_close toilet lids?? Lets make it happen across the board, once & for all.

Kayla Hurst: Beautiful hotel and REALLY incredible staff!! A little bit older hotel but still super nice - and made better than some of the newer hotels being built. The front desk went above and beyond to be sure our stay was A+. Also in a super great location, no parking charge and plenty of parking and brightly lit. The beds were also super comfy. Will definitely be back if we're in the area again!Rooms: Not super big, but big enough. Our room had an extra chair besides the desk chair that I actually really liked lol and had a huge deskNearby activities: Close enough to Detroit and super close to downtown Ann Arbor. Great little area with lots of restaurants and things nearby.Safety: We felt super safe here and with parking our car here. Plus all the staff was great.

Krystal: Karan or Kathy (I'm so sorry I don't remember which) at the bar was amazing. So nice, made great drinks and seemed to really like her job she even remembered usbthe next night. The only downside about the stay, we booked club level, the lounge was closed due to covid. Had I known, I would have saved some money and not booked that level. The walls were. Bit thin or our neighbor was just that loud. The hotel was clean with kind staff always working to keep it so.

dawn tindall: Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, and it is updated well. I prefer a well renovated hotel to a new one. The construction makes them much quieter.It is about a 5 minute drive to kerrytown.
