Antinque Hudson: This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant. I'd only get it here! Lately, they've been leaving things out in the order. The last time I ordered, the pork in the rice tasted like refrigerator, like it was old. When I called to tell them about it, they told me to bring the food back to the manager in the morning to get a possible replacement, but I never got around to doing it that same day, or the next day. It's a shame that you've got to bring food back to get a replacement. They know that food tasted bad, and it was old. Are they going to taste the food once they get it back, or they just don't want me to eat it? Because of this, they lost a loyal customer...

Roon: This is my favorite Chinese takeout place in the area. They are so quick you can order and immediately drive over to pick it up if you live like 15-20 minutes away. They handle large group orders like pros and never forget my food. I always order the Mongolian beef, pork lo mein, almond cookies, and crab rangoons. The portions are pretty big so the regular size is like a large and the large is family style. I can't believe this place doesn't have like 5/5 stars. The haters in these comments do not know what they want
Hunter Charvat: Best Chinese take-out place in town imo. Eaten here dozens of times and never been disappointed or had an even slightly bad experience. The food is consistently delicious and has honestly spoiled me a little, I am always comparing other take-out places to here and wishing I was having King Shing. A couple pieces of the almond boneless chicken were tender, but the rest was dry and overcooked, so gave the majority of it to my dog. The almond cookie (I only ate one, threw the others away) was very dry and had a bad after-taste. I used to be a server in a Chinese restaurant so I know what good fried rice, egg rolls, almond boneless chicken, and almond cookies taste like. This wasn't.

King Shing does not use MSG in any of their food, which is important for us, and what led us to try their food initially. And we have been happy and satisfied ever since. The steamed pork dumplings are exceptional, and the Mongolian beef, orange chicken, and chicken lo mein are all great entrées.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options available.Parking: King Shing is located in a small plaza that has a free parking lot. During the dinner hour, the lot gets busy, and because it is relatively small, there is sometimes a wait for vehicles to pull in and out of their parking spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: Except for opening the outer door, this restaurant should be wheelchair accessible.Dietary restrictions: King Shing does not use MSG in any of their food, which is great for those who are sensitive to MSG.

Victoria Dennis: We order takeout from China King all the time (and I mean a few times a month at least). They have consistent wait times and everyone there is always friendly. It's very much an Americanized menu but they do have flexibility if you ask for more authentic recipes. I would absolutely recommend as a go-to Chinese restaurant.

Jamie M: Our Server was great! She was very attentive. Our food was hot. The atmosphere was good. The crispy green beans were a bit greasy, but our main issue was the portion sizes. At 8pm, our entrées looked like lunch portions. We brought that to the manager's attention, but was told it was accurate. For that reason, I highly doubt we will visit this location again. Sierra clark: I went for the first time for a late lunch and wasn’t that impressed with the food. Everyone said it was amazing but it tasted like the regular Chinese takeout that I’m able to get at almost half the price. I got the wok spicy chicken bowl and I was expecting a lot more since it said fire roasted but I felt the portion could have had more chicken and instead of fluffy rice have a little crisp to the rice so I felt like I was eating better quality Chinese. Other than that my server was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was good during the between lunch and dinner hours.

We used to stop by at lunch and sit at the bar. The past few times the bar was dirty. Had to ask for a cloth to clean my own area. Bar staff did nothing to clean the rest of the bar area. Too busy chatting or on her phone. Prices of food have increased, while quality decreased. And why do they charge $5.50 for a 12 ounce bottle of domestic beer? The ladies restroom has had the same stall "Temporarily Out Of Order" for the last year. Nope. Not going back. 😕

Jule Krüger: Probably the best Chinese food in town. And I only say "probably" because I haven't been to all the Chinese restaurants in Ann Arbor. Out of all the places I've tried, this is our new family favorite. The sweet sour tofu was incredibly crispy but super soft inside, the sesame tofu was also still soft on the inside but chewy on the outside (other places sometimes cook it too much, so it gets too dry). The vegetables in the lo mein and veggie spring rolls were super fresh and still crunchy, so good! We saw them make the vegetable spring rolls from scratch and they tasted awesome. We want to order more mixed vegetable dishes next time because the veggies are so fresh and perfectly cooked here. The food was very flavorful, the portions generous, the owners are very friendly and sweet. We wish we had discovered this place sooner and feel so lucky we finally did. Vivien Li: This is one of my favorite Chinese take out places. You get a lot of food for the price and the quality is quite good. Not too salt or oily, which is my biggest complaint with other locations. It is super easy to order online and they have great flexible hours. My favorite is the Dinner combos, such a great deal!! Samantha Johnson: Jerry, thank you!!!!!My company ordered a huge order with Panda Express, not knowing the parking situation. I am 7 months pregnant and after a 15 minute drive, I realize.. there is no parking lot. I had to park at the nearest place which was about a little less than a quarter of a mile away in 80 degree weather. I get there and the order is HUGE. Jerry did not hesitate in offering and helping me bring this huge order all the way out to my car. We had a nice talk while walking all the way there and I sincerely appreciated him helping me. Otherwise I would've had to make multiple trips to and from my car. The food was tasty, I heard not one single complaint and they didn't forget a single order which is usually what happens anywhere else. Thank you Panda Express on State st and a huge shout-out and thank you to Jerry! You are a life (and back) saver!! ☺️

Then they start making the food, and the line reforms.Then you're in line for the food that's cooking, and one by one they'll put the food into the containers, and you hope and pray they don't run out as you approach.Then, we all wait in line to pay, as they're very understaffed. So, they process the next batch of people who point at the empty bowls, which gives the server enough time to become the cashier and checkout our batch.The food is lukewarm by the time you get to eat it. Michael Gosselin: They close the kitchen at least an hour before the restaurant closes. Not even worth going if it’s past 6:30 and they close at 8:00. Didn’t even get any sort of apology, just “the kitchen is closed and we’re not making any more food.” This isn’t the first time this has happened and I most definitely won’t be trying my luck again.

Ken Lemon: The inside was clean so it had that going for it. The staff were atrocious. The lady working the front counter definitely was not paying any kind of attention to our order. I would say we had to repeat our order no less than four times. All in all pathetic. If this was my first time ever eaten at Burger King I would definitely never come back.

When we arrived at the main window, 10minutes later, she was on the phone speaking badly about the customer before us, using profanity, forgot our drink, and the food was as terrible as the service. The entire experience lacked any ounce of professionalism. It seems as if this behavior is acceptable in the establishment if she felt that comfortable to act so rudely and loud.
