Staybridge Suites Ann Arbor- Univ. of Michigan: what do users think?
Robert Kaplan: I used ONLY IHG points to stay and pay for this hotel from 15 May -17 May. On 23 May, I discovered that this hotel either fraudulently or negligently billed $55.50 to a credit card that they had on file under my name - this was not even the card I provided them at check-in to cover so-called "incidentals". I spoke to the hotel manager on the phone on 23 May and his explanation was that the new trainee at the hotel made a "mistake" and charged my card. He said the charges just happen to be "detected" by the night auditor on the night of 22-23 May. He said my credit card would be credited $55.50 and this would show up on my card in 24 hours. It's now 48 hours later and I my card did not show this credit. So I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and I provided them "proof" that points were used to pay for my hotel stay. This is the 2nd time (1st time at this hotel) I have had discovered an IHG charge to a credit card for a stay where I only should have been charged IHG points. I am getting very suspicious that this may have been a case of attempted FRAUD. Buyer beware!
Kim Marinelli: This is a newer hotel in the area. The parking lot wouldn't be great if you are towing, but there's plenty of parking.Breakfast was pretty good most days. Many choices but your usual Sysco fare. I can't speak for the evening food. The windows open which is great for fresh air and ventilation. The beds and linens are very comfortable, the kitchens are well equipped. Although I was missing spoons, I'm sure I could have asked and received them. The filter for the HVAC was dirty, not just dusty. A quick wash in the dishwasher and they looked brand new. The housing was rather dirty and could benefit from a more thorough cleaning.Evert staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. There were a few times when my reservation wasn't communicated to housekeeping and they tried to come in even though I was staying addional days but I learned to use the door blocking feature for extra privacy.Overall would recommend and stay again.

Maranda Hartman: Rooms were very clean and pleasant! The staff at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful, and overall I enjoyed my experience! Location was out of downtown, but it was nice and quiet and easy to get around.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Jeremy Hamilton: Nice rooms
Dan Capp: Used bar of soap still in shower . Sofa bed still had candy wrappers in the cushion. Not well maintained. Had to ask for toiletries that were supposed to be in room already
Daisuke Fukase: No problems
Holly Ganger: The worst hotel in the area. $300 for a hotel that should cost maybe $140. The staff is so disorganized even the GM has have no idea how to work the front desk. Not to mention the dozens of different types of hair in the shower 🤮🤮
Matty Speights: I'm a diamond elite member of all major US hotel chains, with a tendency of leaving hotel reviews only when my stay is exceptionally pleasant or exceptionally poor. My ratings for this hotel are as follows: (1) Compared to about ten other Staybridge Suites locations in the US, this one is #2, winning in all areas except the offering of alcoholic beverages during their complimentary evening meal. (2) Compared to other IHG hotels generally, this hotel scores in the 98th percentile. (3) Pitted against other hotels in the Ann Arbor area, this one is the best. (2) Compared to hotels generally (US / global), this hotel is in the 95th percentile. The hotel is neat, clean and in a proper state of maintenance aesthetically; the location is ideal with regard to distance and direction from the university, downtown, shopping and food; the ambiance is excellent and the rooms are perfect, the coffee is always just right and available 24/7; breakfast is delicious and well-stocked; the pool, jacuzzi, gym and laundry are all first rate. The service here is exceptional... reminding me less of my nightly experiences with IHG, Hilton, Hyatt or Marriott, and more like my stay at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem. Two particular individuals who have made my stay so enjoyable are Chase L. and Alex M., who each have accommodated in above-and-beyond fashion beginning with early check-in on two occasions, complimentary room upgrade when I said I'd be fine with any type of room, and in giving me the feeling that each sincerely cared for the well-being of myself and other guests during our stay. Both are very kind and accommodating young men who give me faith in their generation, and who are a proud reflection of the high caliber of hospitality professionals that are most valued by IHG, and hotel brands in general. Also, though my interaction with them was limited, I would like to mention Cal--who seems to be the omnipresent face of warm welcome at this property; Katie, whose cheerful demeanor made my morning today, and the remaining staff members, whether desk, kitchen, cleaning or maintenance, as I interacted with each... very solid group here!Of course, attitude reflects leadership, and I'd be remiss in failing to mention the GM of this property, George F. Thank you George for your striking professionalism and courtesy, and for inspiring your entire staff to cultivate a most enjoyable hotel experience. From the heart of a man who lives on the road, you have my heartfelt appreciation. Bravo Zulu, keep winning! I wish you and your team great and continued success in both your professional and personal endeavors.
Leonard Miller: Dirty towels and socks left in the room from previous guest. Old food/crumbs, M&M's found in the mattress of the sofabed. No coffee basket in the coffee pot. Brought it to the attention of the front desk and they said they would take care of it- nothing happened. Inquired with the next shift and was told they were not aware of any problems. Asked for a 45 minute late checkout which was accomodated however when we got back to the room- before the time, our keys were already deactivated. Nice lobby area inside but definitely lacking in customer services.
Sheffer Holdings: Jon and George were great. Really enjoyed this hotel. Very clean and awesome kitchens in rooms
Angela Thompson: Our family of 4 is enjoying our stay quite a lot. There's an indoor swimming pool and 8 person hot tub, great food, plus complimentary laundry (you provide/buy only detergent). Alex at the front desk is very kind and helpful, and was able to easily accommodate our need to extend the stay. 5 🌟, we would absolutely stay here again.Food & drinks: Great breakfast everyday, and very nice evening reception Mon through Wed.
Stephen Frye: Service. Cleanliness. Attitude. I called the Police to have staff allow me in my room. Staff refused the confirm the key did not work. The police confirmed the key did not work, forced thenm to let me in with master key.Staybridge is bad place to stay. Never again. I have access to 1200 union Brother and Sisters and will never recommend a IHG property.

Nurgül Kılıç: The hotel is far from the city center, but it is very easy to reach by bus number 4.There is a very nice shopping center close to the hotel. You can find everything you are looking for around the hotel. You will be very pleased with your stay at the hotel. It's nice that the staff is smiling. In addition, the hotel works in terms of sustainability, I thank the hotel management and wish success to the employees.
Matthew Rian: Had to stay here for family health issues. They gave me a shuttle to and from the U of M university Hospital. Drivers are excellent front desk ladies were great and breakfast woman made sure you started your day off great and housekeeping made sure the room was clean! I will definitely be staying here again if I need to! Thank you again everyone!Food & drinks: Red lobster across the street, Bob Evans next door, palm palace just down the road, other places to eat with Uber!
Nicole Caruso: Very clean, staff is super nice!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Rebecca Grody: Amazing staffI accidentally left my bathing suit and had to call and ask the hotel if it was found in my room a d could they please ship it to me. The staff was excellent. They found my suit and had it fed exed the next day. The room itself was very comfortable and inviting. The locations was perfect and the amenities were exceptional.
Alain Chautard: An old-fashioned hotel with board games, foosball table and a pool table. It was very quiet and the staff was super accommodating. The breakfast area is a bit small and its layout makes it difficult ton have more than 3-4 people help themselves at any given time, but it wasn't too busy when I got there.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Erica Reist Bass: We lost power due to the recent power outages in the area and needed a place to stay. They were able to take us day of and make us feel very welcome and at home. Thank you so much for accommodating us and helping us out when we needed it most.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
David Mccray: Vry niceRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
KRISTEN L: Stayed one night during mediation visit. The room was clean and looked recently redecorated. The pool and hot tub area looked nice and clean, though we did not use. The work out room had 2 treadmills, a bike and an elliptical: all of which were... useable but entry level/old. The work out room was HOT and small, mentioned the temp to the front desk, so hopefully that will be adjusted. Breakfast was free with a variety of selection. Had to ask for decaf coffee, the attendant was friendly and immediately offered to make some, but she never brought it out. Plenty of parking during our midweek stay. Would definitely stay here again.
Bethany “Bett” Benisch: I would not visit this hotel again. The bed has a divot and the showers had peeling wallpaper. The rooms were clean, however.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
L Beebe: The rooms were not clean and were out of date. Caroline was very rude all around. She had offered my daughter chocolate-covered strawberries stating a guest they were for had canceled then once she had realized she had made a mistake quickly took them back very unhygienic. Our reservations we made earlier in the day and we watched several other guests get the card to their room while we had to wait in the lobby for over an hr and a half. Just based on Caroline alone I would never recommend anyone staying at this location.
Christina Daniels: I stayed here for three days during an ice storm. The hotel was sold out. Every employee was kind and helpful. I would especially like to thank the breakfast attendants. While the space is very small, they worked diligently to keep items stocked and were helpful and polite while doing so.Very impressed.
Stephanie Bundy: Michelle was a life saver when we were looking for a last minute room for our daughters appointment at the U of M Cancer Center when our previous hotel fell threw. The hotel was beautiful, staff incredibly helpful and friendly and the shuttle server is such an added bonus!!! As soon as we find out her surgery date, we will be back!!! Thank you for making taking some of the stress off of a stressful situation.

Sonesta ES Suites Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Courtney Hladish: After the red roof fiasco next door this place felt like the Ritz. Clean and spacious.
Smsm R: I love this hotel , I stayed 3 times on it ,lovely staff .Rooms: Big and awesomeNearby activities: Location is near everythingSafety: Very safeWalkability: Nice neighborhood around
David Papernick: I was there recently on the weekend for three nights in the main building (#10), there was no cleaning service, changing of towels at any point in the stay. There was a power and heat failure in the middle of the night and their response was that it was beyond their control, have you ever heard of backup generators? Lastly and most disappointing was that I woke up with many bites on my face, arm and leg (bed bugs). I sent two emails and a phone call to the General Manager who chose to ignore my correspondence. Be aware!!!!
D Thompson: Our room felt dated. Not sure why. But it was clean. Well lit. Most places in this price range provide some amenities like shampoo and soap. A clock. I'm not sure why hotels think it's better to use cheap toilet paper when you need to use a half roll just to wipe. I would still recommend the hotel. The kitchen was well stocked.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
J Jackson: I will say the pictures on the website were beautiful but I wish the location lived up to them. Pros: - no bugs in general including no evidence of bed bugs. - Free internet option. - clean bed/sheets. Cons: - Lack of sheets for pull out couch in room; - only a few towels at check in so we had to request more repeatedly; - various stains on carpet and a substance that appeared to be blood on the curtains; over all outdated and a lack of maintenance. The workout room was very, very small and unclean. They also refused to add AAA discount.
Sandra Karlin: We spent 4 days on this property, booked thru another site . All of the pictures are false advertising. It’s a dump for the following reasons:-Lack of personnel at night in case of an emergency. Our key wasn’t working and no one at front desk.-No response before you check in requesting anything.-False advertising of the property.-we were asked to get our own linens & pillows from the back of the front lobby.- no extra blankets available-Lack of cleanliness in lobby bathrooms & kitchen in our room.-Lack of kitchen utensils, cups amenities that a kitchenette has.-No housekeeping-Only one iron for entire property-Lack of response during our stay for anything we asked. This property was a homeless shelter during COVID you can tell it’s deteriorating and not a real hotel. The interior of our room was unacceptable for the price . The property is not at all suites for families. Lacks comfort and attention to its guest. Do not stay here .
Shri Ram Sharnam: This is the worst hotel. They overbooked and had no rooms available even though pur reservation was prepaid and booked weeks in advance!
K B: Smelled like cigarettes, did not have bowls or spoons in kitchen, never got them after I asked front desk. Bathrooms only had shampoo and a bar of soap, no conditioner.Breakfast is minimal- granola bars, box of cereal and a breakfast sandwich, no fruit. Towel rod was falling off wall in bathroom, had to ask front desk for a hairdryer, stains on carpet and furniture, door handle to bedroom was breaking and the front door lock did not always want to let you into the room. Pool is closed and it is summer.
Steven Bonofiglio: Says right on the bottom of the screen you can pay when you arrive, your card will not be charged. They then proceeded to charge me 700$ a month before my stay. What a rip off no I associate will ever stay with this company again.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Brian Urbancic: (Note: This review is not at all a criticism of Priceline, who provided excellent service after I notified them of this debacle.) I can't describe my stay because it didn't happen. I reserved and paid for a room for 2 nights through Priceline. When I arrived to check in, I was told they didn't have a room for me and they had notified Priceline to cancel my charge and issue me a refund. I asked for something in writing to confirm that I didn't actually stay there. All I got was a hand-written cancellation number. That was 3 days ago. The charge has now cleared my credit card. It was not supposed to go beyond the pending stage. It's bad enough to sell a room that you don't have. It's fraud to lie about refunding my money.
Guarocuya Batista-Kunhardt: No WiFi and a severely understaffed location. When asking about the promised WiFi they immediately give you the number ofntheir service provider to call. It is a common complaint, they acknowledge.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
T Irabagon: Pool CLOSED for the season. TV Cable had been ripped out of the TV and can't be plugged in. We borrowed their pack'n'play for our baby to sleep in, but the main bottom supports are broken, so it keeps collapsing. The desk staff are nice, the breakfast was good, the room was tidy. The pool closure was the major blow - it was 80% of why we chose this place so my kids could play while I worked from the room. If you're here to let your kids swim in the pool, BOOK ELSEWHERE.
Alex W: Very disappointed with the customer service of this hotel. I had requested a room on the side opposite of the highways because of a sleeping condition and when contacting them prior to my booking they could accommodate me. After arriving from across the country they are not willing to accommodate me and pretty much said tough luck. This is ridiculous! On top of that you could smell the cigarette smoke from somebody's hotel and they have the gall to leave a note on my door like I'm the one who is doing this. Who treats people like this. They need new management! People who can run a business!
Rosalie Schraut: We booked a 2 "Bedroom"/2 Bath. They lay out is a small living room/kitchen, room w/ 2 queen beds and private bath, and an upstairs loft w/ a king and bath.Pros: The living area was barely big enough for a small full air mattress we brought. Kitchen was clean and had full fridge, paper towels, plates/pots/utensils. Beds/bedding clean and comfortable.Cons: The stairs and certain areas in the bedrooms had not been vacuumed. There was someone else's hair in the showers and bathroom floors. Corners had cobwebs. Ceiling fan was really dusty so we never turned it on. Walls were cracking/old. When we asked for extra bedding...they only had sheets and not blanket. Pool was not open (But assume that is still for Covid reasons.) The common outdoor walkways/stairs were really dirty with lots of cobwebs. This is definitely more of a motel at premium hotel prices bc of the location. This was our first time stay and had reservations for Parents weekend...which we have cancelled.
Devin Banek: If you *have* to do an extended stay in Ann Arbor, try and look elsewhere first. I tried my best to get my fiancés company to move us to another property or reimburse us for a house rental as we were staying for two consecutive months and wish I had fought harder for it after the fact. While the space in this property is as expected for an extended stay, I will say the quality and service are severely lacking. In a two month consecutive stay they only cleaned three times - two of which were after multiple protests and requests from my fiancé and myself to the front desk. We wound up taking extra bath and bed linens and changing everything ourselves each week since it clearly was not going to be done, despite assurances that it would. The room had an awful odor of smoke, which the front desk claimed they did not recognize and would not move us as a result. The pool consistently stayed closed for “maintenance” though it seemed like a thinly veiled excuse for their inability to meet the bare minimum maintenance requirements without adding the extra labor of a pool to the mix. When requesting hotel amenities (bathroom and kitchen supplies) not only did we have some of our items thrown away during a rare cleaning, we were told they were “out” of many items which resulted in us acquiring our own. The furniture was extremely uncomfortable and I wound up purchasing pillows and blankets to compensate. Never again in my life would I stay at this property.
Cris Josson: Room spacious and clean, king bed very comfortable, breakfast options are OK , you can hear traffic noise from highway, overall not a bad place to stay
Bill Ott: Front office great; bed, linens and pillow great; room we had needed new carpeting and minor bath fixture repairs. Kitchenette was functional and dishes OK. Overall, a good value for the money.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Amy Hertz: Cigarette butts and trash outside my door thick spider webs everywhere and from the night shift and GM “oh well housekeeping only cleans inside.” Totally rude staff had to ask four times to get toaster and plates that were supposed to be in the room and the GM lied to my face denying he participated in a conversation about these problems. And the night shift just doesn’t answer the phone. Walked over and saw him sitting 5 feet away watching TV in the dark. Never staying here again and I am in Ann Arbor a lot.
Geoffrey Gawne: Had a great time. Nice location, room was way bigger than we thought. Clean enough with a number of nice ammenities at a great value. Quite good. The only two problems were that door handle to get in the room was loose and in need of repair, and it was difficult to get to the front desk at night (turns out there is an unlocked back door you can get in after the front is locked). Neither is a deal breaker by any stretch.
Priyadharishini Veeraraghavan: This is an excellent place when you travel with kid. It is a fully furnished apartment with functional kitchen with all utilities. I would highly recommend this property for a feel-at-home stay in Ann Arbor.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

EVEN Hotel Ann Arbor, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Rita Sears: This place is super cute,v super comfortable, and clean 😍 Very soft neutral and relaxing. Love Love Love ❤️ Highly recommend 👌Rooms: The rooms are super comfortable and very clean 👌 Highly recommend
Ron Hunter: Room was nice and clean, staff was friendly but that's about as far as the positives went. Lobby smelled like the pool, very overpowering. We got settled into our room after a long drive, got cleaned up and headed to restaurant downstairs. Completely deserted and lights off, at 5:45PM! Front Desk Staff just told us 30mins before that the restaurant was open and would be open until 10PM. Nope, nobody in sight. Staff member finally approached us and said kitchen was closed and would not open until morning for breakfast. He also said we could go next door to The Kensington and their restaurant, Re•Lish, was open and was "way better in his opinion". Super happy that we did because it was great food. Really disappointed in our stay (other than our dinner at the neighboring hotel).
Account Administrator: Nice clean hotel!
Kimberly Craig: Beautiful rooms! And I can’t say enough about the staff. Friendly and one young lady (Rayshawn? Sorry her name escapes me) went above and beyond to get me and my mom into a room with a walk in shower. And the food? It was amazing! Thank you so much for being the bright spot during the power outage! I wish we had found you guys at the start of the outage!
Erik Kegelmann: Great location near freewayRooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Christina Kallet: Amazing and thoughtfully designed however the floor around the pool was filthy and covered in several balls of hair. All different colors. The windows in the pool area had dead bugs all over them. The electrical closet was open and surrounded by water. This was a Monday.Rooms: Clean! Cozy! Top notch on the vip business rooms.
Ashley Triplett: Raised they prices due to Ice storm for one...Check in was 3 but rooms wasn't ready til 5pm. Workers was very frustrated and expressed it very loudly. Room was clean for the most part. Except a few hairs in the tub. I'm going to assume service wasn't 100 percent due to shortage of staff. Apply if interested.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ginjer Thurber: We needed an overnight stay somewhere to help us get through the power outage with our toddler and newborn. We thought for sure it was going to be very busy, and possibly loud because of the circumstances. However, we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our stay! The pool area was great, not too crowded. We appreciated the supplied towels. Staff were friendly throughout the whole process of booking, checking in/out, especially Meg. Hotel was clean and modern. We would stay again and are appreciative that we were able to get rooms!
Michele Rubey: Great front desk staff. Room was very nice. Newly renovated. Comfortable bed and nice shower! I would definitely recommend it.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
JP Kiss: Highly recommend this hotel. We live 30 minutes away and just wanted a staycation. Pool was warm, hot tub was relaxing, room was clean, and staff was great. A quick 10 minute drive to downtown AA.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Orville Walker: $75 per fee??
kyleitis: Great hotel stay. Much better than your normal chain hotel.Loved the exercise gear included in the roomRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Chris Matthew Porter: An extremely interesting concept for a hotel, lol. The random exercise equipment is off putting placed in odd spots around your room; a pilates pole-thing with stretching straps/pulleys, an full-size exercise ball, yoga mat/blocks and a small sliver of reserved workout space with a mirror on the side of the bed ( let’s just say, if you’re not into fitness, everything listed above can be well-repurposed for other 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴. 😏A nice touch was the high end flatscreen with an extending mount and soft close cabinet drawers....but my favorite room amenity being the remote controllable ( not RGB unfortunately ) GB light-strip above the TV/Entertainment center....and the dimming nightstand-wall-controlled white LEDs that trimmed the headboard. That oddly have three, side by side and on the same module, control components to alter their brightness.. three.Bathroom is simple yet eclectic but well-designed with a decent amount of sq. footage - along with high end bathroom toiletries.Last but not least, customer service was 👨🏽‍🍳👌🏽.. had to checkin late which went appreciatedly-smooth and the morning staff were nothing short of hospitality gold..P.S. Shoutout to the young lady running breakfast who gave me a great insider tip about the breakfast there. 😜😜1OO% would recommend to others.
Carrie Smith: The hotel is beautifully simple and very clean. The staff, from front desk to housekeeping are all extremely kind, and helpful. Residence Inn by Marriott Ann Arbor Downtown: what do users think?
Michael Geib: Fantastic Marriott property!
Winnie Kamindo: Wonderful amenities and an even more amazing staff!
Gail Flanagan: Excellent hotel with spacious rooms and kitchen. Walkable to so many bars and restaurants.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Johann Majer: Staff is very nice and friendlyService: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Gino Gisondo: Room was nice. Location is great. You can basically walk anywhere in downtown Ann Arbor. It was insanely dry, but most hotels are. Main pitfall was that the shower didn't drain. Very common problem in hotels, but it always sucks and makes the stay way less enjoyable.Rooms: Very spacious. Beds not yet ruined by years of use or over weight guests. Clean.Walkability: Extremely walkable
Patrick Martin: Parking here is a pain to fine and then the parking lot is $28 a night which gets really expensive when you want to spend a weekend hereRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Tonya Owens: House keeping once a week. And no room service. Breakfast wasn't so goodRooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
DY Lin: This hotel is ideally situated to explore downtown Ann Arbor & access the university. Everywhere we needed to go was within walking distance. The property was extremely clean and well maintained (one of my pet peeves is slow drains in hotels, but that was not a problem here). One small improvement would be the lighting in the rooms - overall, the lighting is quite dim & cast an unpleasant institutional glow in the rooms. The building is kept at a comfortable temperature, so there was no need to use the in-room heater (i.e., made for a quieter night & better sleep). The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and quick to award the benefits associated with membership status. (Thank you, Walter!) Would definitely stay here again.
Edward Zamora: Great experience, Love to stay here again...
Chris Trechter: Pretty average hotel experience. Room was clean but had terrible sound insulation and could only be boiling hot or freezing cold. Can't expect much more from your average American hotel chain these days.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More

Janna Zielke: We love this hotel! The staff are very friendly, the rooms are comfortable for any length of stay, and the fitness room is great. We always stay here when in town - location is AMAZING and you can walk anywhere downtown Ann Arbor. I wish it was less expensive but due to size of room and location, it is still worth it. We tried a cheaper airbnb apartment nearby and it was just not the same, and of course you can stay somewhere not downtown for much cheaper but then you have to uber. Definitely recommend this place!
Bill Bickel: Extremely happy with my arrival and the service of the front desk. I needed extra blankets due to special circumstances and I had them in 60 seconds. I hsd some additional requests out of the ordinary and Steve at the front desk treated me like he knew me my whole life. He was authentic and helpful and efficient and after the long 24 hours I had, this was very much a welcome atmosphere.
Mary Lemmer: I’ve stayed here several times and always had a good experience! Great customer service and high quality rooms!
Cindy Warber: We went to Ann Arbor for a girl's weekend with shopping and a comedy show. Everything was within walking distance. The suite was perfect, and breakfast was very delicious and had a great variety.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Graduate Ann Arbor: what do users think?
joshua tsai: Great place to stay
Michelle Erikson: DO NOT STAY HERE. Terrible/non-existent customer service. Loud rooms. Low quality rooms. This past weekend my husband and I stayed Saturday night. Our room on the third floor seemed fine at first, albeit dark. I soon noticed the floors were dirty and there was hair all over the two small area rugs next to the bed. The bathroom is also oddly designed in such a way that you cannot close the “salon style” doors from the inside of the bathroom (how dumb).I was looking forward to getting a good nights sleep in the comfy bed, however the room has absolutely ZERO sound proofing or insulation and there was a TV on and blasting sound LITERALLY all night long. I never really got to sleep. The TV was still blasting when housekeeping woke us up the next morning to ask when we were checking out (more on that later). We finally called down to the front desk in the middle of the night to complain about the TV noise and while they said they would contact the room, they never did. We never heard them come to the room nor the phone ring in the adjacent room. And the TV noise never stopped. To make matters worse, the next morning around 9:30am, housekeeping knocks to ask what time we are checking out. I was confused and asked to confirm that checkout was 11am and we were planning to check out by 11am and she confirmed yes, check out was 11 or 12. A 4-star hotel should not bother guests before the checkout time! When checking out I very nicely (when asked how my stay was) shared the part about the bathroom doors and loud tv with the woman and the front desk and she didn’t even apologize.I was looking forward to this iconic Ann Arbor hotel, but I certainly won’t ever be returning and I don’t recommend you stay here either.
Sheila Ritchie: Great people to work with :)
Josh Goodman: A nice hotel styled after the UM Law Library that is a short walk to campus/downtown. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Wifi signal was strong in my room and conference rooms. Parking is limited to valet for $30 a day.Walkability: Very walkable to downtown and campus.
Nutri Steph: Loved the retro vibe and that they are pet friendly wow!! Just a perfect place to enjoy and rest with my little puppy she was so welcome. The view from the bedroom was awesome.I’m very happy to know this place and the friendly service and front desk people.

Eva Hink-Lemke: Such a lovely and cosy hotel. Great beds and fantastic style of the whole interior.Little noise from the street but still could sleep well.Like to come back.
Michelle Silberstein: Noteworthy details: Justin and Kayla were extremely helpful and fast in valet! Bill, Alyssa, Lexi, Jazmine, at the Braxton were awesome at the front desk! Paris in housekeeping was great as well! Thank you all!Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Rebekah Duhaime: Pros: beautiful aesthetics, absolutely wonderful valets, and nice front desk staff.Cons: elevators shake and make loud sounds like they’re about to break, you aren’t made aware at check-in where to park if not using the valet, marks, scuffs, and stains on the walls, cheap looking plastic drop ceiling in the bathroom, dirty windows, no microwave, and scratchy sheets and blankets.
Maura S: I loved the vibe of this hotel when I looked at it online and was not disappointed. visually beautiful, and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Their restaurant suggestion was fabulous and we had a beautiful night. I had an issue and Lexi the front desk manager took excellent care of us, truly outstanding customer service. Beautiful place, excellent location. The coffee shop was excellent and the bar was just stunning and such a great place to relax. overall a major treat and great location.
Carrie M Gordon: Shyiyn was one of our valets and took excellent care of our luggage and vehicle. The weather was cold and windy. So glad for warm accommodations so close to campusWalkability: Close to campus 😀Food & drinks: Enjoyed a glass of wine in the bar in the evening
jkgmoss: Great lobby for hanging out. — long library table or upholstered seating areas. Small coffee shop right in lobby. Or walking distance to Zingerman’s. Super convenient to campus.Rooms are nicely decorated — sophisticated, slightly kitschy college theme. Love the toiletry products. Comfortable mattress.

Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel: what do users think?
L C: Pros: free parking. Nice staff. Quiet rooms.Cons: Very unstable Wi-Fi. No option for faster internet for gold members (it’s just one guest Wi-Fi for everyone). Pillows are very flat and TV does not have Netflix.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Tim Peck: I needed a decent place to stay overnight while at the children’s hospital. I chose her based on location/cost and desire for breakfast. The room was nice and I didn’t notice anything that appeared dirty. It was as seen in photos. The main reason I will be back is for the breakfast. For a $10 upgrade I had an omelette made for me and a plethora of other options. Added benefit was a noon check out time instead of earlier in the AM. The market place was nice added benefit as well. I also liked the idea that Wendy’s basically shares the same parking lot so it’s definitely in walking distance for most anyone.
Diana Wasaanung'gokwe Seales: Came her for a conference that was in the hotel and stayed over night. Wondeful staff and accomidations! Highly recommend for buainess. Plus they have plenty of EV chargers! Perfeft for my new bolt.Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Katie Elizabeth: Pet friendly hotel that has clean rooms. 2 stars because of my experience in the breakfast area. There is no sign or any person waiting near the breakfast area to inform guests that the buffet is $20. I had a plate of 4 pieces of bacon and I was yelled at across the hotel lobby in front of other guests and staff by the buffet staff member that her buffet was $20. I handed her the plate of bacon and said she could have it back and she aggressively took it from me and threw it in the trash. I told her that there should be a sign that says the buffet costs $20 for hotel guests, and she snapped back at me “yea, I’ve told them that a lot”. Typically a breakfast buffet is free for hotel guests, or there is clear indication that there is a separate breakfast restaurant in a hotel. This interaction with this buffet employee did not make me feel like a valued guest of this hotel and definitely made what would have been a 5 star review this 2 star review. And we discussed how much we were enjoying our experience here and would be repeat customers, but not after this experience.
Christine S: The staff is courteous, rooms are clean and spacious. Accessible rooms with roll-in showers are available but limited, Conveniently located just off I94, Briarwood Mall & plenty of restaurants. Buffalo Wild Wings is within walking distance.Food & drinks: The Sheraton has an on-site bar.

Tre D: Love staying @ Marriot for the style...and this hotel puts the sí in desígn. Loved the look of this hotel lobby.....really sets the bar high for the room. I didnt have time to enjoy the lounge on my brief & busy stay, but it looked very inviting. Gym were also on par with the lobby lots of good working equpment, well lit room, and spare warer/towels avail. Roo. Was spacious and clean. My only issue here is the same issue I have with most hotels...How difficult is it to install self-close/soft_close toilet lids?? Lets make it happen across the board, once & for all.

Kayla Hurst: Beautiful hotel and REALLY incredible staff!! A little bit older hotel but still super nice - and made better than some of the newer hotels being built. The front desk went above and beyond to be sure our stay was A+. Also in a super great location, no parking charge and plenty of parking and brightly lit. The beds were also super comfy. Will definitely be back if we're in the area again!Rooms: Not super big, but big enough. Our room had an extra chair besides the desk chair that I actually really liked lol and had a huge deskNearby activities: Close enough to Detroit and super close to downtown Ann Arbor. Great little area with lots of restaurants and things nearby.Safety: We felt super safe here and with parking our car here. Plus all the staff was great.

Krystal: Karan or Kathy (I'm so sorry I don't remember which) at the bar was amazing. So nice, made great drinks and seemed to really like her job she even remembered usbthe next night. The only downside about the stay, we booked club level, the lounge was closed due to covid. Had I known, I would have saved some money and not booked that level. The walls were. Bit thin or our neighbor was just that loud. The hotel was clean with kind staff always working to keep it so.

Quality Inn & Suites Ann Arbor Hwy 23: what do users think?
Jmayc: The first room they gave us here had rips in the sheets like an animal ripped it up and a bite taken out of the plastic protector on the box spring. The second room we were given wasn’t in great shape either. There’s a mirror missing from the bathroom door with chunks of the mirror’s frame still there, there’s screws on the wall for a missing picture frame, someone stole the landline phone, the curtains are broken, and there’s cracks in the tub. The hall ways smell like someone was smoking cigarets in them. We tried to get a refund to go elsewhere and they don’t offer refunds. I would not recommend going here.Rooms: Like I said in my main review things are broken, missing or stolen, and nothing feels clean.
Desiree Gray: The rooms are decent and fairly clean for the price, but the staff is practically non-existent. When I walked into the lobby, there wasn't an employee standing behind the counter. I had to wait a while before he came from the back room to help me get checked in.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Charles Jones: Hotel was over booked and people who paid for rooms were turned away without refunds. Our room didn't have functioning plumbing and was dirty.Front desh clerk was uncaring and antagonistic toward guests. Stay away until it gets new management.Rooms: Dirty and not maintained
David Paladino: It was alright. Room was clean. Ice machine upstairs didn't work. Soda machine down stairs took my money and my drink got stuck. Vending machine upstairs wouldn't take dollars. Other than that it was a good place to stay since the Marriott was fully booked.Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
Jeff Smith: If you care about your privacy and the safety of your belongings, do not go here at all! They will force their way into your rooms before your checkout to steal anything you have of value. Management will play games with you, but at the end of the day switch up and act like they aren't responsible for anything. This place needs new employees that don't extort and steal from guests.Noteworthy details: Also, there is no real customer service to go through for help with any of your concerns. It'll get filed and forgotten, no response whatsoever after a week of constant follow-up....
George Sanders: All of the employees are rude thieves, they will rush you out of your room before the checkout time to take your personal belongings. They will act like they will check for items in their lost and found, but never actually do anything. 0 out of five stars, don't go here unless you want to be treated like trash.Noteworthy details: If you have anything important don't even take it to this place, it will be stolen.
Evan Schut: Locked me out of my room over a $10 pet fee. Go somewhere else unless you hate yourself.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Alex Parent: As with others the staff is rarely at the front desk and nobody is in uniform so good luck finding anyone to help. You can find the maintenance guy but he smells like booze and seems to be responding to few of the many problems clearly present in the rooms. A sheet was on the front desk which shows requests to change rooms. One couple found blood on their sheets. Our room was actually clean, but the rudeness of the staff and the overall threatening atmosphere of a place like this is below the hospitality industry. Below the standards of quality inn and Choice Hotels the group that owns the brand.Eric Temple the General Manager is especially a problem. Besides the words he called my wife, the obvious racism in his bringing up her skin color, he was purely rude and it looks like from the other reviews that he has an "on/off" switch for hospitality. He was purely rude and insulting and refused to help in any way. The only thing he did right was not charge us for the room he refused to give us after we brought some of our complaints to him in hopes of changing rooms and getting a better rate for one more night.I expected them to try and charge it anyway. The place just feels like a trap and a con. Plenty of people had valid reasons for wanting refunds and or a change of room and they would disappear and just brush everything off. It was just a gross run down hotel with nobody in it interested in helping, or doing anything besides shrug you off. The maids were in uniform, but they also peek into rooms through the peephole instead of knocking. If there was a redeemable quality to speak of. There was one person at the front desk the first day who was decent. But that was one fraction of this particular employees day and based on everything else we saw and experienced it's just very unlikely that he was innocent of the same kind of rudeness that seemed to be present in every person who identified themselves as an employee. I wouldn't return here if it was the only warm bed left on the planet. Not after the way the GM spoke to my wife and then the way he spoke to me. If we had gotten one shred of help or understanding maybe I'd feel a little different, but it was pure resistance from the beginning. We should have trusted the reviews and avoided what they all seem to point to is a guaranteed terrible stay at a dreadful hotel.Quality Inn has some work to do as far as oversight and quality control. Shouldn't be hard when it's in the name, but it is clear this sight isn't visited much by any oversight.Noteworthy details: It seems that no matter the complaint or how valid it is that these folks will still try to keep your money and they will be as rude and threatening as they have to be to make you leave.
Robert Lee: The location was the only saving grace. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was in smelled like pot smoke. Yea, it's Michigan, but still. The front desk staff or lack thereof really didn't care about what was going on. When I got to my room, there were no blankets or sheets. I went to the front desk to get sheets, No blankets were available. I went to Meijer to get one. The shower curtain was mounted too high up. Water flooded the bathroom. Somebody could slip, or worse. Most of the lights in the room didn't work. Fortunately, I didn't need light to get sleep. To call this place a roach motel would be an insult to pesticides. Spend an extra ten or twenty bucks and go elsewhere. The only thing that could make this place worse was if they started renting beds by the hour.
Sara Lorenz: If I could give zero stars I would. This facility is not clean, staff is not friendly and they tell you, you can cancel your room but you won’t get your money back…even when it’s an emergency medical situation.Rooms: Not clean.
Gio Thompkins: When we arrived they gave us a room that was still dirty and looked occupied so Our room was charged with no problem, but once in this room the curtains were coming down and the TV did not work so I went to call the front desk and guess what? No phone. Waiting for maintenance. SMHRooms: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ypsi Guy: This place has gone down hill. I was there and the front desk worker is very rude. My neice was walking the dog and stopped by the room and the front desk worker told her that if the dog steps in the room he was going to charge her room as well for a pet fee. The shower in the room looked like the ceiling was gonna fall through and patches everywhere in the bathroom. I seen a bug on the door that lead to an ajoinong room. I took a pic then image searched it. It was a cockroach or bedbug. I grabbed all our belongings and we checked out of the Hotel.
Heidi Ornalik: From the moment I walked in hotel, dirty, carpet filthy, paint chipping off walls everywhere ceiling leaking in entry way, when I cked out with buckets on floorRooms: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
monforus: place was dirty.. there was insects and roaches. doors damaged and missing handles everywhere, stains, paint missing, broken tvs. breakfast buffet was not up kept food was old, staff was not there to assist and then rude when we found forks and papertowel refills ourselfs in the cabinet. most rooms smelled of stale cigarettes despite being told it was non smoking.
Tina Taylor: One of the worst hotels so far soooooo dirty everything towels that looked like they have bin sitting by the pool for months dirty bottoms in the hot tub hot tub closed (no wonder) just so bad don't evan waist your money
Cadance House: this place was very misleading. the hot tub was under construction, the online pictures were very misleading
