Justin Hall: The ramen was eh, with an unmarinated, softboiled egg (almost hardboiled). The pork didn't have any memorable flavor. They had raw onions which was a weird combo with the rest of the ingredients. Probably not worth the price with the amount of competition with better food around. However, the sushi is fresh and good, just remember to get the sashimi and not the rolls cause the amount of fish difference for the price is huge. The miso soup was closing in on the salty side, but was okay. The staff was very kind and service was very quick.

Kah huan Yap: Had very bad experience. Ordered a salmon bento with barely any salmon in it (costed $18 something). Furthermore they charged us 18% tips automatically after tax, when in fact they provided close to no service at all (except serving water and foods).I mean, if you not as petty as me and don’t care wasting an extra $5 go ahead, but just don’t order the salmon bento😞

Dian Jiao: Very bad experience, as an Asian I found their sushi and udon noodles very inauthentic, the rice in the sushi was not sticky at all, there was no garnish of any sauce but the fish itself did not have a very fresh flavor to make the sushi tasty. Also, we waited over 50 minutes (actual time) and ended up being automatically charged 18% tips of our bill. In fact they didn't serve much and even needed to be greeted by us before ordering and paying the bill.

The feel of the restaurant was pretty sterile though, mostly because of the lack of decorations and the pipe going up right next to our table. We had shrimp and vegetable tempura as appetizer.LOVED the pork katsu curry rice!!! The flavors are sooo good. You don't even need the meat! There is a version that is just the curry with rice.As for the pork katsu bowl, this was good, but not as good as the curry one in my opinion. My friend enjoyed it. The sauce is a bit sweet for me. It comes with a few varieties of pickled vegetables for accent to the pork and drizzled egg in the bowl.Both orders were generous in portions for lunch and enough to share.Will be back to try a few other lunch menu items next time!

jan engholm: What happened to Godaiko?! It used to be a favorite place to go for special celebrations. Last evening (Mother's Day) our family of four found ourselves very disappointed! The one good thing was a generous portion of sashimi, but all else was mediocre at best. Tough beef, lukewarm miso soup, soggy tempura sushi, noisy room, indifferent service---not worth the rather hefty bill of $100+.

Atsumi Casady: I had sushi lunch it came with super salty miso soup and a salad. I told the waitress I don't like cucumbers but the salad had cucumbers on it with some dried out slices of carrots on top.Sushi had very gummy rice and the shrimp on top was falling apart in half also I have to ask the waitress for soy sauce dipping dish she did not bring it before I asked.The worst part of this experience was I used the restroom afterward the stall had big one inch gap on the side of the door and I could see who's coming in and out. Same waitress that waited on me came in use the restroom came out and did not wash her hands and went straight back out to the floor that is just disgusting!

Alan Rooney: A bit of a disappointment when considering the cost of the dishes. Uninspired would be the best way to describe the flavor of the sushi, and the quality of the steak was sub par. And the sauce that smothers the steak clashed hard for our tastes.The staff was friendly enough and left us to our own, which is a plus, but also completely average for, again, the cost of the dishes. They seemed unmotivated to provide a 5 star experience, which suggests an issue with management or ownership.All in all, they'd earn a 5 star if the prices were cut in half. But for what they're charging right now, I can't see myself returning.

Brigette: Idk what is wrong with the waitresses there. They are not warm or polite! My husband and I walked in and there was NO ONE there, we only wanted a drink but sitting at the bar is never a option as it always smells like raw sewage. So we asked to sit by the window and the hostess replied "no"!She pointed to the bar and said we can sit there but smelling whatever is going on at the bar is not something to enjoy while having a cocktail.My husband asked why can't we sit by the window? There isn't anyone here? She then rolled her eyes. At this point it wasn't worth dining there. This isn't the first time we have been treated poorly by the staff here. I don't understand why most of the staff acts in this manner. The food is good but to be treated poorly its not worth spending our money here!

Gabe Meyer: Waitresses rolled their eyes at you when they finally come to ask if you need anything. They got very upset about a $5 Tipp on a $91 dollar meal, even though it was due to the poor service.

The menu has so many options our only complaint is that we didn’t get to try more. The service was fantastic, the food was phenomenal, and we will definitely be returning soon.
