David W: We’ve had home and car coverage through Arbor Insurance for over 8 years. One of the confusing things is whether we were covered under Arbor Insurance, Hanover Insurance or Citizens insurance? I broke down on the road one time and the process to get help seemed ancient and very outdated. If I wasn’t savvy and resourceful it would have been a big problem. I had an agent one time when I hit a deer that seemed to be working in his basement 2 days out of the week and provided very little communication. The app is seems to be just thrown together, and hard to navigate. As I’m typing this, the app is currently down and not working for “support”. When I called to cancel my policy recently I connected with the receptionist but no agents were available. Small office? I am buying a new home and ended up switching over to Progressive with the same coverage but half the cost and everything is so much more streamlined. I filed a claim with them back in 2010 and everything was so much easier 13 years ago compared to what I experience with Arbor Insurance today in 2023. One positive thing is all the workers I have dealt with have been nice.

Rosemary Hager Rosenberg: We had a catastrophic event when a pipe froze and flooded our recently purchased home. We had not even moved in yet. Once we filed a claim we never got a phone call asking how we were, or if we needed anything. Phone calls were not returned. It took 9 months before our home was reconstructed and during all that time our agent never contacted us to see how we were doing. Needless to say as soon as the claim was settled we changed agents. Poorest customer service we ever experienced from any business. Find someone else.

Unbeknownst to the landlord, I have a security camera so I was able to catch him in his lie when he claimed he was giving a tour of my place and my dog had "pooped everywhere". 1. He was never there. 2. My dog didn't poop anywhere in the house.Not to mention they tried to bill me to unclog the COMMUNAL shower for the house, saying I washed my dog in there and it clogged the drain...However the invoice for the people to come unclog it was a mere two days after I moved in.They think everyone in Ann Arbor is wealthy and try to make them pay for improvements they should be doing inherently.
Annie Maliongas: Aprill Agency Inc. has been my Insurance agency for my annuity for children and now Grandchildren... I love the attention my accounts get and customer service. I live out of state but when I get a chance to come to Michigan I always enjoy stopping by the office.
