David W: We’ve had home and car coverage through Arbor Insurance for over 8 years. One of the confusing things is whether we were covered under Arbor Insurance, Hanover Insurance or Citizens insurance? I broke down on the road one time and the process to get help seemed ancient and very outdated. If I wasn’t savvy and resourceful it would have been a big problem. I had an agent one time when I hit a deer that seemed to be working in his basement 2 days out of the week and provided very little communication. The app is seems to be just thrown together, and hard to navigate. As I’m typing this, the app is currently down and not working for “support”. When I called to cancel my policy recently I connected with the receptionist but no agents were available. Small office? I am buying a new home and ended up switching over to Progressive with the same coverage but half the cost and everything is so much more streamlined. I filed a claim with them back in 2010 and everything was so much easier 13 years ago compared to what I experience with Arbor Insurance today in 2023. One positive thing is all the workers I have dealt with have been nice.

Tynella Jackson: Even though there was not clear communication on when I could pick up the bond, Kim was pleasant to work with. However, she did not inform me at any point that the address registered on Google was no longer the correct address for their office. Unfortunately, I only found this out as I arrived at the address provided by google (which still has the name of the company on the sign visible from the street, all over the building as well as inside of the suite.) and could not find Sandy who was to meet me to pass the bond. Upon finally establishing direct communication with Sandy (Kim initially was the middle man for communication) she was not polite, barely acknowledged me when she handed me the bond and said nothing after but turned and walked away. I did not appreciate the lack of acknowledgement for my inconvenience... As a service provider, wouldn't you want to be sure at the very least that your customer knows where you're located? Especially if you've discussed them coming to the office? Aside from the disappointing customer service, they were very quick, simple and efficient in issuing my bond so for that, I am thankful.

F Gruhl: My homeowners and auto insurance premiums seemed high, so I did a comparison of eight leading insurance carriers. Auto-owners offered the best rates, comparing apples-to-apples. I am very pleased with the service from Cheryl McGuire at the Pauline office, and have since learned that two of my good friends also did comparison shopping and selected Auto-Owners as well.

With 24 hours to spare, Kim from Arbor Insurance set me up with the correct insurance, adjusted deductibles and went through every detail and possible discount with me. Being a landlord herself, she was able to talk me through the process and get me insured within 24 hours - no lapse. And the best part? The new policy was even cheaper! Would definitely recommend calling them before falling for the TV commercials (Geico, State Farm, etc.).

Not only did they get basic information like my age and car year wrong (after I repeatedly told them what these were), they made me come into their office and made me buy a policy using INCORRECT information.
