EVEN Hotel Ann Arbor, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Rita Sears: This place is super cute,v super comfortable, and clean 😍 Very soft neutral and relaxing. Love Love Love ❤️ Highly recommend 👌Rooms: The rooms are super comfortable and very clean 👌 Highly recommend
Ron Hunter: Room was nice and clean, staff was friendly but that's about as far as the positives went. Lobby smelled like the pool, very overpowering. We got settled into our room after a long drive, got cleaned up and headed to restaurant downstairs. Completely deserted and lights off, at 5:45PM! Front Desk Staff just told us 30mins before that the restaurant was open and would be open until 10PM. Nope, nobody in sight. Staff member finally approached us and said kitchen was closed and would not open until morning for breakfast. He also said we could go next door to The Kensington and their restaurant, Re•Lish, was open and was "way better in his opinion". Super happy that we did because it was great food. Really disappointed in our stay (other than our dinner at the neighboring hotel).
Account Administrator: Nice clean hotel!
Kimberly Craig: Beautiful rooms! And I can’t say enough about the staff. Friendly and one young lady (Rayshawn? Sorry her name escapes me) went above and beyond to get me and my mom into a room with a walk in shower. And the food? It was amazing! Thank you so much for being the bright spot during the power outage! I wish we had found you guys at the start of the outage!
Erik Kegelmann: Great location near freewayRooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Christina Kallet: Amazing and thoughtfully designed however the floor around the pool was filthy and covered in several balls of hair. All different colors. The windows in the pool area had dead bugs all over them. The electrical closet was open and surrounded by water. This was a Monday.Rooms: Clean! Cozy! Top notch on the vip business rooms.
Ashley Triplett: Raised they prices due to Ice storm for one...Check in was 3 but rooms wasn't ready til 5pm. Workers was very frustrated and expressed it very loudly. Room was clean for the most part. Except a few hairs in the tub. I'm going to assume service wasn't 100 percent due to shortage of staff. Apply if interested.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ginjer Thurber: We needed an overnight stay somewhere to help us get through the power outage with our toddler and newborn. We thought for sure it was going to be very busy, and possibly loud because of the circumstances. However, we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our stay! The pool area was great, not too crowded. We appreciated the supplied towels. Staff were friendly throughout the whole process of booking, checking in/out, especially Meg. Hotel was clean and modern. We would stay again and are appreciative that we were able to get rooms!
Michele Rubey: Great front desk staff. Room was very nice. Newly renovated. Comfortable bed and nice shower! I would definitely recommend it.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
JP Kiss: Highly recommend this hotel. We live 30 minutes away and just wanted a staycation. Pool was warm, hot tub was relaxing, room was clean, and staff was great. A quick 10 minute drive to downtown AA.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Orville Walker: $75 per fee??
kyleitis: Great hotel stay. Much better than your normal chain hotel.Loved the exercise gear included in the roomRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Chris Matthew Porter: An extremely interesting concept for a hotel, lol. The random exercise equipment is off putting placed in odd spots around your room; a pilates pole-thing with stretching straps/pulleys, an full-size exercise ball, yoga mat/blocks and a small sliver of reserved workout space with a mirror on the side of the bed ( let’s just say, if you’re not into fitness, everything listed above can be well-repurposed for other 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴. 😏A nice touch was the high end flatscreen with an extending mount and soft close cabinet drawers....but my favorite room amenity being the remote controllable ( not RGB unfortunately ) GB light-strip above the TV/Entertainment center....and the dimming nightstand-wall-controlled white LEDs that trimmed the headboard. That oddly have three, side by side and on the same module, control components to alter their brightness.. three.Bathroom is simple yet eclectic but well-designed with a decent amount of sq. footage - along with high end bathroom toiletries.Last but not least, customer service was 👨🏽‍🍳👌🏽.. had to checkin late which went appreciatedly-smooth and the morning staff were nothing short of hospitality gold..P.S. Shoutout to the young lady running breakfast who gave me a great insider tip about the breakfast there. 😜😜1OO% would recommend to others.
Carrie Smith: The hotel is beautifully simple and very clean. The staff, from front desk to housekeeping are all extremely kind, and helpful. The entire hotel is well put together and they have workout equipment in every room. This is a fabulous place to stay!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Xiao Meow: Nice spacious bedroom. Welcoming staff. Clean room. Recommend.
Karen Barbu: Just went to a vendor that was giving appraisals on coins
Mel Araiza: Great hotel and atmosphere. The staff was amazing, and the food was delish! Very clean hotel, and will definitely be returning. Thank you for the beautiful hospitality.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Ammar S.: Staff were nice. The rooms and hotel looked too cramped. It is a two-star hotel with nice staff..Rooms: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Tharider J: Nice comfortable rooms with ample work desk, comfortable office chair, and well equipped kitchenette. Provides a good selection of television channels including HBO and a decent gym.Walking distance to mall and many restaurants and only a couple miles to downtown Ann Arbor. Complimentary laundry and clean laundry room are great perk and one of main reasons I choose to stay here for extended stays. Front desk staff are also helpful and provide excellent customer service.
Kerri Korinek: We stayed here when our son recently had surgery at U of M Hospital. On check-in, the lady at the front desk was EXCEPTIONAL. She worked so hard to get everything straightened out with the nightmare booking through Expedia left us with, and she was extremely pleasant through it all. (FYI, Sonesta matches prices, so book directly with Sonesta to avoid the Expedia nightmare...) The room was very spacious and exceptionally clean. The bedroom was separate from the rest of the room. It felt like being in our own little home. The bed was amazingly comfortable with super fluffy pillows. LOTS of storage, with the closet, nightstands, dresser, the stand in the seating area with the TV, and even a pantry for food. It came equipped with plenty of dishes and cookware, full-size fridge, microwave, and stovetop. It was confusing how to get the stove to work, but someone came and helped us immediately, showing us how to work the stove. (There's a separate timer that you have to set, which shuts off the stove when the timer runs out. No worrying whether you turned off the stove if you have to leave right away!) We saw the grills and tables outside, and there was a sign out there that you could get the grill utensils from the front desk. We didn't get to try that out, but that's a nice addition! We did get to see the exercise area that also had the washers/dryers and a little store area, which was a nice touch for those little incidentals. There is also a shelving unit that you can "check out" games, crock pots, and other things. Just that little something extra that makes for that much more of a pleasant experience to stay there. I found shower pressure to be wonderful in the room we stayed in. Lots of fluffy towels and washcloths available, also. There were bottles that they provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap in case you forget yours. Our soap was empty, but it wasn't any big deal because we had brought our own. I'm quite positive if we would have asked, they would have filled it for us right away. The table that separates the kitchen area from the seating area in the room had two chairs on one side and a desk chair on the other. I had to work some while we were there, and it provided plenty of space to do what I needed. Overall a 10/10 experience with Sonesta and will definitely stay there again. But next time we'll deal directly with Sonesta to avoid all the problems Expedia gave us. We've stayed at a few other places in Ann Arbor in years past, but Sonesta is by FAR the best place. It's also only about 15 minutes drive to U of M Hospital.
Michelle Bates-Phipps: Nice rooms, great ratesRooms: Rooms with full kitchens including ice makerRooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Bianca Williams: The suite itself was really nice! The bedroom was separate from the living area. There was a kitchen area with a full size refrigerator, microwave, stovetop and dishwasher. There was even a pantry, front closet, and desk area for remote workers. Then the living room area had a pull out couch coffee table and tv for entertainment. The bedroom had another tv, closet and shelves. The bathroom was a size nice and there was a huge mirror. Overall my experience was good because the room was spacious and clean. I didn’t give it five stars because we were overcharged for the room. A staff member name Jessica ended up charging us $231 for the deposit instead of $100 and we now have to wait 5-7 business days for the deposit ($100) plus the extra $131 we should haven’t been charged. The customer service was good and everyone was polite but I just wished that didn’t happen and there was a quicker was to get the money back since the overcharge wasn’t our fault. Still loved the room and the hotel. It was clean and smelled good.
Anne Hamberg: This place was a wonderful surprise! I was traveling with two friends and we each got our own suite, since they were inexpensive, especially compared to hotels nearby. Everything was super clean and comfortable. We asked for, and got, 2 adjoining rooms and a room next door. I couldn't believe how quiet it was! I couldn't hear movements in the next rooms, or even showers! This will be our resting place every time we come to Ann Arbor!!
detodd35: I was displaced due to a flood and some other repair issues in my home , my daughter and myself stayed here it was ok as far as cleanliness , some of the front desk staff wasn't very knowledgeable about billing we stayed five weeks total and every week the price was different by at lease 50-60 dollars difference. We were charged a pet fee for three of those weeks after being told its a one time fee. The billing was never corrected and we have been blown off with different dates every time we call. Our key cards were cut off three different times in error . After the stress of moving and dealing with the unprofessional people at this hotel i would not suggest you ever stay here !! I will be telling all my facebook friends and co workers to NEVER stay here !!!
にゃんこ先生: アメリカ出張中滞在したホテル。長期滞在者向けの安めのホテル。近くにスーパー、食事出来るお店もあるため便利な立地。ただ車移動前提である。

Shivani Saxena: We stayed here in May 2023. The hotel is reasonably priced and offers very good service. The housekeeping staff kept the washrooms and rooms neat and clean. They have a complimentary breakfast where you can choose from fruit, egg, bread, cereal, bagel, waffle, yogurt, etc.It is safe to keep your belongings there. The surroundings are absolutely lovely. I really enjoyed my morning walks, amidst the greenery, birds, and squirrels.Busch's is close by and one can go shopping for daily essentials there. There are also many nice eating joints around.Recommended.

delmy quijada: No shuttle to the airport, no bottle water in the rooms, no gym and after cleaning they did not refill or coffee and just folded and place our used towels back, they are supposed to remove the used ones and place new ones. The continental breakfast, for what my son says (i didn't want to wake up to go, it's from 7am to 10am) it's supposedly good, they have waffles and a variety of other breakfast items, coffee etc.I don't find it quite good but it's close to the airport and it's clean although i don't like the fact that they do not offer complementary water and you have to get it from the vending machine.
Stephanie Lambert: We picked this room from out of town and I am very happy with the cleanliness of the room and how safe the area feels. The rooms are very small, but you could eat off these floors. I stay in hotels every week and this one went above and beyond my expectations for a clean room. I couldn't find one hair or spec of dirt, and I'm the type to pull up every pillow and cushion and check the nooks and crannies. I will be staying here again.

Sally Martinez: My room was really Dusty, we were really tired from my trip and tried to get some rest but I have issues with asthma & allergies to dust. Room was really Dusty and there was some rust colored liquid behind my bed on the floor & my behind my daughter's bed it was really dusty too. The trash I the bathroom hadn't been emptied so we just bagged it up with what we had to throw out from our stay lastnight. The other room I rented was clean no issues there. Just had to sleep with the window cracked open in ours.

Wifi available, computer in the lobby, handicapped rooms limited but available. Washer and dryer for guests (not free, but at least they have them inside). Jake D: It was okay. But I have low standards. The irony of seeing the "welcome to a smoke-free building" while smelling weed gave me a laugh.Front desk, though took few minutes to let me in, was courteous. My room smelled like dog.The A/C worked well and I was able to get decent sleep.Wasn't 100% clean visually, either. Which is concerning as to what uncleanliness there is of which I can't see. (Pictures below of my shower curtain and sink)Doors slam when left to close on their own. They provide breakfast.Breakfast is coffee, Quaker oat packets, and nature valley bars. (Breakfast bar pictured below)For few bucks more, you can stay at one of the neighboring hotels and get a much better experience.

Kaylynne Jones: Had to stay here a few nights and it couldn't have been worse. The staff are rude and inconsiderate. The manager of this location is worse. The prices are ridiculous and fluctuate every day. I came here with a partner and we needed to stay an extra night but we're a little short. Asked if we could have a hour to get the money. We're reassured that would be okay. My partner goes down to the front desk to pay and the manager threatens to put him on a "refuse to rent list" . This whole stay its one person telling us one thing and then going to try and do it, for other people to be very rude and nasty towards us. I do NOT recommend staying here. Please go spend your momey somewhere else. Go somewhere people might actually treat you like a person. Something tells me the good reviews were bought...
James Billingslea: I'm taking time to write this review because this location has improved so much since I first stayed here three years ago. The staff is friendly and helpful and rooms are immaculate. I can't recommend this location enough. I find it funny that Google rates it 2 stars, much better than that.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Joe Hood: Friendly and accommodating
HOLLI NORTON: Loved the pet friendliness. Saved us when our house dropped below 39* during the big SE MI ice storm in Feb 2023. Pets everywhere and everyone soooo friendly.Rooms: Pet proof, pet friendly. Cannot say enough.
Nicole Youngman: THEY WILL CHEAT YOU. We missed a flight and didn't make it to the first night of our stay. We called the hotel and they repeatedly reassured us that our reservation would be good for the second night. So we show up the next night deeply exhausted and guess what? They said our (non-refundable, of course) reservation was no good and we had to pay again for the room--which turned out to have lights that didn't work, no coffee pot unless we were willing to pay extra, and no nightstand on one side of the bed. Avoid this location!
Dee Ramos: I thought it was great! Had a mix up, but the young lady at the front desk that evening was helpful and extremely sweet!! I highly recommend!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kelsey Lynn: ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! 0 starts if I could. The rooms are not properly cleaned, most of the rooms have at least one thing wrong with them (we had to move 3 times within 5 days) and still never got a room that had everything working fully of properly. They do not have a generator, and lost all power for 5-6 hours when the temperature outside was in the negative… never once let the guests know what was going on, let alone refund or offer a comp for the future. I had my 2 month old and 5 year old with me & there was NO HEAT AT ALL. Watch your credit card because they will add extra charges on without letting you know, hoping you won’t notice… then when you do notice, the MANAGER, Diane Jamula, will automatically accuse you of being wrong and immediately start trying to cover for themselves. She then will put you on the “do not rent” block list with no warning and no explanation at all. The ONE maid they have in the WHOLE building will bang on your door 2-3 hours early before check out MULTIPLE times to see if you're ready to check out… you gotta take your own trash out or else they will charge your card on file for not do their job. One room didn’t even have a working toilet. They say “free breakfast” but you will never see that or even coffee. The couple front desk employees were great and did their job the best they could… I’m sure it’s not easy working under a terrible “manager”, especially having to watch her blatantly discriminate people. Other than the two front desk employees doing their job well… all the others you will hear talking mess about guests right behind the counter. If DIANA JAMULA wasn’t the manager, this hotel might actually make some money and stay a float but she gets in her feelings and then blocks people from renting. If I was the owner of this establishment, I would be irate. You’re losing tons of business by having her as a manager. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Not worth any money to stay here. Definitely the most unprofessional hotel management I have ever experienced.

Quality Inn & Suites Ann Arbor Hwy 23: what do users think?
Jmayc: The first room they gave us here had rips in the sheets like an animal ripped it up and a bite taken out of the plastic protector on the box spring. The second room we were given wasn’t in great shape either. There’s a mirror missing from the bathroom door with chunks of the mirror’s frame still there, there’s screws on the wall for a missing picture frame, someone stole the landline phone, the curtains are broken, and there’s cracks in the tub. The hall ways smell like someone was smoking cigarets in them. We tried to get a refund to go elsewhere and they don’t offer refunds. I would not recommend going here.Rooms: Like I said in my main review things are broken, missing or stolen, and nothing feels clean.
Desiree Gray: The rooms are decent and fairly clean for the price, but the staff is practically non-existent. When I walked into the lobby, there wasn't an employee standing behind the counter. I had to wait a while before he came from the back room to help me get checked in.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Charles Jones: Hotel was over booked and people who paid for rooms were turned away without refunds. Our room didn't have functioning plumbing and was dirty.Front desh clerk was uncaring and antagonistic toward guests. Stay away until it gets new management.Rooms: Dirty and not maintained
David Paladino: It was alright. Room was clean. Ice machine upstairs didn't work. Soda machine down stairs took my money and my drink got stuck. Vending machine upstairs wouldn't take dollars. Other than that it was a good place to stay since the Marriott was fully booked.Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
Jeff Smith: If you care about your privacy and the safety of your belongings, do not go here at all! They will force their way into your rooms before your checkout to steal anything you have of value. Management will play games with you, but at the end of the day switch up and act like they aren't responsible for anything. This place needs new employees that don't extort and steal from guests.Noteworthy details: Also, there is no real customer service to go through for help with any of your concerns. It'll get filed and forgotten, no response whatsoever after a week of constant follow-up....
George Sanders: All of the employees are rude thieves, they will rush you out of your room before the checkout time to take your personal belongings. They will act like they will check for items in their lost and found, but never actually do anything. 0 out of five stars, don't go here unless you want to be treated like trash.Noteworthy details: If you have anything important don't even take it to this place, it will be stolen.
Evan Schut: Locked me out of my room over a $10 pet fee. Go somewhere else unless you hate yourself.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Alex Parent: As with others the staff is rarely at the front desk and nobody is in uniform so good luck finding anyone to help. You can find the maintenance guy but he smells like booze and seems to be responding to few of the many problems clearly present in the rooms. A sheet was on the front desk which shows requests to change rooms. One couple found blood on their sheets. Our room was actually clean, but the rudeness of the staff and the overall threatening atmosphere of a place like this is below the hospitality industry. Below the standards of quality inn and Choice Hotels the group that owns the brand.Eric Temple the General Manager is especially a problem. Besides the words he called my wife, the obvious racism in his bringing up her skin color, he was purely rude and it looks like from the other reviews that he has an "on/off" switch for hospitality. He was purely rude and insulting and refused to help in any way. The only thing he did right was not charge us for the room he refused to give us after we brought some of our complaints to him in hopes of changing rooms and getting a better rate for one more night.I expected them to try and charge it anyway. The place just feels like a trap and a con. Plenty of people had valid reasons for wanting refunds and or a change of room and they would disappear and just brush everything off. It was just a gross run down hotel with nobody in it interested in helping, or doing anything besides shrug you off. The maids were in uniform, but they also peek into rooms through the peephole instead of knocking. If there was a redeemable quality to speak of. There was one person at the front desk the first day who was decent. But that was one fraction of this particular employees day and based on everything else we saw and experienced it's just very unlikely that he was innocent of the same kind of rudeness that seemed to be present in every person who identified themselves as an employee. I wouldn't return here if it was the only warm bed left on the planet. Not after the way the GM spoke to my wife and then the way he spoke to me. If we had gotten one shred of help or understanding maybe I'd feel a little different, but it was pure resistance from the beginning. We should have trusted the reviews and avoided what they all seem to point to is a guaranteed terrible stay at a dreadful hotel.Quality Inn has some work to do as far as oversight and quality control. Shouldn't be hard when it's in the name, but it is clear this sight isn't visited much by any oversight.Noteworthy details: It seems that no matter the complaint or how valid it is that these folks will still try to keep your money and they will be as rude and threatening as they have to be to make you leave.
Robert Lee: The location was the only saving grace. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was in smelled like pot smoke. Yea, it's Michigan, but still. The front desk staff or lack thereof really didn't care about what was going on. When I got to my room, there were no blankets or sheets. I went to the front desk to get sheets, No blankets were available. I went to Meijer to get one. The shower curtain was mounted too high up. Water flooded the bathroom. Somebody could slip, or worse. Most of the lights in the room didn't work. Fortunately, I didn't need light to get sleep. To call this place a roach motel would be an insult to pesticides. Spend an extra ten or twenty bucks and go elsewhere. The only thing that could make this place worse was if they started renting beds by the hour.
Sara Lorenz: If I could give zero stars I would. This facility is not clean, staff is not friendly and they tell you, you can cancel your room but you won’t get your money back…even when it’s an emergency medical situation.Rooms: Not clean.
Gio Thompkins: When we arrived they gave us a room that was still dirty and looked occupied so Our room was charged with no problem, but once in this room the curtains were coming down and the TV did not work so I went to call the front desk and guess what? No phone. Waiting for maintenance. SMHRooms: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ypsi Guy: This place has gone down hill. I was there and the front desk worker is very rude. My neice was walking the dog and stopped by the room and the front desk worker told her that if the dog steps in the room he was going to charge her room as well for a pet fee. The shower in the room looked like the ceiling was gonna fall through and patches everywhere in the bathroom. I seen a bug on the door that lead to an ajoinong room. I took a pic then image searched it. It was a cockroach or bedbug. I grabbed all our belongings and we checked out of the Hotel.
Heidi Ornalik: From the moment I walked in hotel, dirty, carpet filthy, paint chipping off walls everywhere ceiling leaking in entry way, when I cked out with buckets on floorRooms: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
monforus: place was dirty.. there was insects and roaches. doors damaged and missing handles everywhere, stains, paint missing, broken tvs. breakfast buffet was not up kept food was old, staff was not there to assist and then rude when we found forks and papertowel refills ourselfs in the cabinet. most rooms smelled of stale cigarettes despite being told it was non smoking.
Tina Taylor: One of the worst hotels so far soooooo dirty everything towels that looked like they have bin sitting by the pool for months dirty bottoms in the hot tub hot tub closed (no wonder) just so bad don't evan waist your money
Cadance House: this place was very misleading. the hot tub was under construction, the online pictures were very misleading
Maddy Dorton: it was very bad , the toilet didn’t work in the first room , then they switched our room, but when we first got here the front desk staff weren’t here.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
W Bryan Jackson: Late check in, gentleman behind the counter went above and beyond. Hot water for shower took awhile to get hot but over all, not bad.Rooms: Had a single room with a king bed, very spacious.

Days Inn by Wyndham Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Corey Amison: I love the manger Eric. He’s turn this place around completely. Helping people who truly don’t have . Y’all are a blessing from god things that y’all do for people and I’m honored to call you a friend.
Theresa Heichel: Rooms: Under renovations, However the new rooms are nice, welcoming colorfully chosen decor matches the Day's Inn color scheme 👍Safety: Cameras 📸 everywhereSo safety is NO ISSUEWalkability: Across the street from Bob Evans, KFC Red lobster, White Castle a Mediterranean restaurant right next door.
prathik shirolkar: Had my family stay at Days Inn. The staff spoke rudely with my family. The hotel cleans ur room once in a week. The bed sheets and comforter weren't clean when we moved in.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Joseph Liptak: This place is good for a cheap hotel, nothing fancy. Utilitarian! On the add on the third party website the exterior color was unique, we got there and they had repainted it. Kind of a bummer!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Rex Jiang: The wifi is terrible. It's slow and unstable, and connection gets lost very frequently.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Nicole Parsons: We booked a room with 2 queen beds through priceline. When we got there we were but in a room with 2 twin beds, the lights, fridge and tv were all unplugged. When we got everything plugged in, there was no cable in our room. They put us in another room with 2 twin beds, there was a busted mirror in the room in which we told the front desk it was fine since we had been on the road all day and had another long day ahead of us. Room was clean just didn't get what we booked and it's very uncomfortable for 2 adults to sleep on a twin size bed
John Perdue: I’d have to say this has to be the worst hotel I’ve ever tried to stay at. My wife and I drove almost 9 hours and after having some car problems and getting there late was told they don’t allow for people to check in after 12am.Awful customer service truly appalling.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Anthony: No power to tv, fridge & microwave and how am I supposed to figure that out? Second day juice was not working or turned on. The rooms were decent but hallways smell of BO! I guess this is why it’s the cheapest around!
AstroGummi: Breakfast and service was pretty good, but rooms felt pretty sketchy and had no soaps. location was convenient thoughNearby activities: Convention center 10 minutes away
veronica kashaka: I really don't like leave bad reviews, but this hotel was the worst I ever stayed in,the first room we were given was on the ground floor, the hallway smell like weed, the toilet backed and the water spilled on the floor, the tub did not drain, the fridge need a crowbar to open. No coffee, as most hotels provide, they move us to an upstairs, thing got alittle better, I spend 8 days there, My room was cleaned once, I had to provide my own blankets, the tub again wouldn't drain on my last night , Theres no elevators. My sister and I are seniors, and walking up stairs is very difficult for us. The breakfast the hotel provides, is simply nothing, toast, waffles, bagals and some sort sweet, its was a very nasty experience.I am not sure if they employs a cleaning staff, and I ask front desk repeatedly to have my room clean, it was done on the night last night of my stay. Most of the desk clerk were nice and friendly, in particular a young man named Imani, who was very helpful in getting me some blankets. There were times when the front desk not manned, and guests had wait around. I suggest, anyone wanting to stay there, think twice about it. I hope this helps.
Joseph Walton: WORST HOTEL EVER! I asked for a room with two beds and one of the beds did not have it's blanket and the staff couldn't fix it till our third day of being there we had to buy a blanket from the store. If you run out of toilet paper in your room you will need to go to the store and buy it yourself. I will never come back to this place again.
Calyn Favise: The room was so dirty. Dried blood stains on the carpet and in the bathroom, whole place reeked of cigarettes, dirty bathroom. One roll of toilet paper and two towels, when we asked for more the worker was very rude. Both beds didn’t have blankets, when we asked for more toilet paper, towels and blankets he said “can I do anything more? Do you guys want a cocktail too” very passive aggressive and rude. Don’t stay here y’all.
Coleen Nichols: Rooms: Room was very nice clean. Bed was very comfortable. Hardly any TV channels TV was very fuzzy. No Internet connection.Walkability: Can walk to restaurants very close.Noteworthy details: Not many TV channels No internet connection.
Hugo Cinco: Worst place to stay. First room stank, clearly smoked in. The second room had an open slider door with no Latch or lock. Third room had huge blood stains on the floor between the beds. Fourth room had a wide open slider door as well. I don't feel safe here. We opted just to stay in the first room, but we're not getting any sleep. My 6 year old son with autism was crying for a few hours about having seen all that blood, crying to go home. Looks like they don't even check the rooms between rentals. Stay literally anywhere else.Safety: UNSAFE. doors with no locks and blood stains all over one of the rooms. We are literally unable to sleep in here. We are just sitting here until the morning. My kids can't sleep. Wife can't sleep.

Sonesta ES Suites Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Courtney Hladish: After the red roof fiasco next door this place felt like the Ritz. Clean and spacious.
Smsm R: I love this hotel , I stayed 3 times on it ,lovely staff .Rooms: Big and awesomeNearby activities: Location is near everythingSafety: Very safeWalkability: Nice neighborhood around
David Papernick: I was there recently on the weekend for three nights in the main building (#10), there was no cleaning service, changing of towels at any point in the stay. There was a power and heat failure in the middle of the night and their response was that it was beyond their control, have you ever heard of backup generators? Lastly and most disappointing was that I woke up with many bites on my face, arm and leg (bed bugs). I sent two emails and a phone call to the General Manager who chose to ignore my correspondence. Be aware!!!!
D Thompson: Our room felt dated. Not sure why. But it was clean. Well lit. Most places in this price range provide some amenities like shampoo and soap. A clock. I'm not sure why hotels think it's better to use cheap toilet paper when you need to use a half roll just to wipe. I would still recommend the hotel. The kitchen was well stocked.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
J Jackson: I will say the pictures on the website were beautiful but I wish the location lived up to them. Pros: - no bugs in general including no evidence of bed bugs. - Free internet option. - clean bed/sheets. Cons: - Lack of sheets for pull out couch in room; - only a few towels at check in so we had to request more repeatedly; - various stains on carpet and a substance that appeared to be blood on the curtains; over all outdated and a lack of maintenance. The workout room was very, very small and unclean. They also refused to add AAA discount.
Sandra Karlin: We spent 4 days on this property, booked thru another site . All of the pictures are false advertising. It’s a dump for the following reasons:-Lack of personnel at night in case of an emergency. Our key wasn’t working and no one at front desk.-No response before you check in requesting anything.-False advertising of the property.-we were asked to get our own linens & pillows from the back of the front lobby.- no extra blankets available-Lack of cleanliness in lobby bathrooms & kitchen in our room.-Lack of kitchen utensils, cups amenities that a kitchenette has.-No housekeeping-Only one iron for entire property-Lack of response during our stay for anything we asked. This property was a homeless shelter during COVID you can tell it’s deteriorating and not a real hotel. The interior of our room was unacceptable for the price . The property is not at all suites for families. Lacks comfort and attention to its guest. Do not stay here .
Shri Ram Sharnam: This is the worst hotel. They overbooked and had no rooms available even though pur reservation was prepaid and booked weeks in advance!
K B: Smelled like cigarettes, did not have bowls or spoons in kitchen, never got them after I asked front desk. Bathrooms only had shampoo and a bar of soap, no conditioner.Breakfast is minimal- granola bars, box of cereal and a breakfast sandwich, no fruit. Towel rod was falling off wall in bathroom, had to ask front desk for a hairdryer, stains on carpet and furniture, door handle to bedroom was breaking and the front door lock did not always want to let you into the room. Pool is closed and it is summer.
Steven Bonofiglio: Says right on the bottom of the screen you can pay when you arrive, your card will not be charged. They then proceeded to charge me 700$ a month before my stay. What a rip off no I associate will ever stay with this company again.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Brian Urbancic: (Note: This review is not at all a criticism of Priceline, who provided excellent service after I notified them of this debacle.) I can't describe my stay because it didn't happen. I reserved and paid for a room for 2 nights through Priceline. When I arrived to check in, I was told they didn't have a room for me and they had notified Priceline to cancel my charge and issue me a refund. I asked for something in writing to confirm that I didn't actually stay there. All I got was a hand-written cancellation number. That was 3 days ago. The charge has now cleared my credit card. It was not supposed to go beyond the pending stage. It's bad enough to sell a room that you don't have. It's fraud to lie about refunding my money.
Guarocuya Batista-Kunhardt: No WiFi and a severely understaffed location. When asking about the promised WiFi they immediately give you the number ofntheir service provider to call. It is a common complaint, they acknowledge.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
T Irabagon: Pool CLOSED for the season. TV Cable had been ripped out of the TV and can't be plugged in. We borrowed their pack'n'play for our baby to sleep in, but the main bottom supports are broken, so it keeps collapsing. The desk staff are nice, the breakfast was good, the room was tidy. The pool closure was the major blow - it was 80% of why we chose this place so my kids could play while I worked from the room. If you're here to let your kids swim in the pool, BOOK ELSEWHERE.
Alex W: Very disappointed with the customer service of this hotel. I had requested a room on the side opposite of the highways because of a sleeping condition and when contacting them prior to my booking they could accommodate me. After arriving from across the country they are not willing to accommodate me and pretty much said tough luck. This is ridiculous! On top of that you could smell the cigarette smoke from somebody's hotel and they have the gall to leave a note on my door like I'm the one who is doing this. Who treats people like this. They need new management! People who can run a business!
Rosalie Schraut: We booked a 2 "Bedroom"/2 Bath. They lay out is a small living room/kitchen, room w/ 2 queen beds and private bath, and an upstairs loft w/ a king and bath.Pros: The living area was barely big enough for a small full air mattress we brought. Kitchen was clean and had full fridge, paper towels, plates/pots/utensils. Beds/bedding clean and comfortable.Cons: The stairs and certain areas in the bedrooms had not been vacuumed. There was someone else's hair in the showers and bathroom floors. Corners had cobwebs. Ceiling fan was really dusty so we never turned it on. Walls were cracking/old. When we asked for extra bedding...they only had sheets and not blanket. Pool was not open (But assume that is still for Covid reasons.) The common outdoor walkways/stairs were really dirty with lots of cobwebs. This is definitely more of a motel at premium hotel prices bc of the location. This was our first time stay and had reservations for Parents weekend...which we have cancelled.
Devin Banek: If you *have* to do an extended stay in Ann Arbor, try and look elsewhere first. I tried my best to get my fiancés company to move us to another property or reimburse us for a house rental as we were staying for two consecutive months and wish I had fought harder for it after the fact. While the space in this property is as expected for an extended stay, I will say the quality and service are severely lacking. In a two month consecutive stay they only cleaned three times - two of which were after multiple protests and requests from my fiancé and myself to the front desk. We wound up taking extra bath and bed linens and changing everything ourselves each week since it clearly was not going to be done, despite assurances that it would. The room had an awful odor of smoke, which the front desk claimed they did not recognize and would not move us as a result. The pool consistently stayed closed for “maintenance” though it seemed like a thinly veiled excuse for their inability to meet the bare minimum maintenance requirements without adding the extra labor of a pool to the mix. When requesting hotel amenities (bathroom and kitchen supplies) not only did we have some of our items thrown away during a rare cleaning, we were told they were “out” of many items which resulted in us acquiring our own. The furniture was extremely uncomfortable and I wound up purchasing pillows and blankets to compensate. Never again in my life would I stay at this property.
Cris Josson: Room spacious and clean, king bed very comfortable, breakfast options are OK , you can hear traffic noise from highway, overall not a bad place to stay
Bill Ott: Front office great; bed, linens and pillow great; room we had needed new carpeting and minor bath fixture repairs. Kitchenette was functional and dishes OK. Overall, a good value for the money.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Amy Hertz: Cigarette butts and trash outside my door thick spider webs everywhere and from the night shift and GM “oh well housekeeping only cleans inside.” Totally rude staff had to ask four times to get toaster and plates that were supposed to be in the room and the GM lied to my face denying he participated in a conversation about these problems. And the night shift just doesn’t answer the phone. Walked over and saw him sitting 5 feet away watching TV in the dark. Never staying here again and I am in Ann Arbor a lot.
Geoffrey Gawne: Had a great time. Nice location, room was way bigger than we thought. Clean enough with a number of nice ammenities at a great value. Quite good. The only two problems were that door handle to get in the room was loose and in need of repair, and it was difficult to get to the front desk at night (turns out there is an unlocked back door you can get in after the front is locked). Neither is a deal breaker by any stretch.
Priyadharishini Veeraraghavan: This is an excellent place when you travel with kid. It is a fully furnished apartment with functional kitchen with all utilities. I would highly recommend this property for a feel-at-home stay in Ann Arbor.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Fairfield Inn by Marriott Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Ike Nwankwo: Very discouraging start and end of this overnight trip. I waited at the empty front desk for awhile trying to get someone to come help me. I had to yell out to get someone to come out from behind to help check me in. Although it was all paid for they swiped my credit card. Going back and looking at my card days later I see there's still a fee. I've been trying to get in touch with them to get an update on why they're charging me $20 and the front desk continually hangs up on me. No other corporate lines are able to help. Discouraging way to start and end.
Dave LaBonte: This was the best stay I've had at a hotel in a long time. Staff was beyond helpful. Very professional. The room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever had. Everything worked as should. TV was large and I was able to log into NETFLIX! Breakfast was great. Nice pool and hot tub. I wish all hotels followed this example!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Monty Fowler: What a wonderful 2 night experience at the Fairfield Inn in Ann Arbor, MI. Our room was very clean! The staff, including the front desk, and housekeeping were so friendly and helpful. Gerie Richardson: And the food is so good and my room was so nice and my TV had YouTube and stuff like that and today the pool was closed and Xavier late me and mom in and pool was crazy it was so long and the food was so good and you get different food every time it is at 6 to 9 I think and the ladies at breakfast was so nice and the said good morning every time I love them all.♡♡♡♡♡
Callie Waldrep: We had a small gathering with kids and adults, Xavier and Courtney were extremely accommodating and worked to get us adjoining rooms despite high occupancy. Wonderful customer service and attention to detail that was much appreciated!Service: 5/5 …More
Jennifer Smith: Staff is friendly and linens are clean. The hotel itself is old and got some fresh carpet and wallpaper but they didn’t fix the horrible layout of the rooms. The location of the hotel is also hard to find and doesn’t have a main drive off the main road.
Kent Bermingham: The staff was super nice!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
jose zero: it's "ok", too expensive for the level they are at.

Laura Penrod: The room was Gross black Hair on the sheets and sinkRooms: 2/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Chelsey McKensie: The room was very clean! Breakfast both Saturday and Sunday was hot and stocked. All employees were helpful. The pool and whirlpool area were clean! They had fresh cold water everyday at the elevator in the lobby. Also, huge thing for me, they had dairy alternatives for both breakfast and coffee! It was nice to enjoy without the regret later. The video is just our view out of our room. Loved that we could watch the train.
Clarissa Comer: Great room, but no one came into our room to do anything. Apparently we should have been told at check-in that beds are only made upon request. What??? They didn't pick up the dirty towels or empty the garbage or anything. Some of the towels smelled musty and when we requested some extra towels we had to go and get them. Pretty much the most appalling service I have ever gotten from any hotel that I have ever stayed in. So disappointing.
Cabo Robbo: Definitely solid 4 out of 5. The WiFi was iffy and the TV remote didn't always work. However, everything else went well and the breakfast was especially good.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Michael Bolton: Rooms: It's a hotel room.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
S K: Fairfield are not usually the nicest, but this Fairfield is on the lower end of Fairfield’s that I’ve stayed at. Room and bathroom were very small with low ceilings. Things seemed outdated and under-maintained. The towels smelled horrid. Breakfast also had less offerings than most places.
Karen Taylor: Very nice hotel . Very sad hot tub was broke . Nice clean room .Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Abbey Bates: Pretty much what you could expect for a hotel. More than Super 8, not a Hilton - it's a decent, affordable option. It was clear that the hotel was short-staffed but the front desk clerk made the best from what he was given, apologetic and as efficient as he could be given that he was the only one there. The room was adequate. On checkout, it was the same. Another clerk making the best of a subpar situation. That all said, yes, I'd stay here again. It's not their fault that no one wants to work anymore. 🤷🏽‍♀️
Samantha Enos: Rooms were clean. Had a fridge, microwave. Sink is separate from shower/toilet room. There was no rack to hang the small hand towel to dry by the sink. So we just left the towel laying by the sink. They should include the little hand towel rack to hold the towel by the sink. Rooms were very small. Was a little bit of tight squeeze for the 2 double beds. Location wise it's a lil fair from nice restaurants etc. They should fix the pool door as it does allow (non guests) to hop into the pool whenever they feel like since they prop the door open with a yellow wet floor caution sign. I think a homeless person showed up when I was using the hot tub. I walked by his bag and clothes and they had a smell so I assumed he was not a hotel guest. Staff should be mindful of this. I did not report it to the staff as I quickly left when he showed up and started changing by the pool.
