I was told they might be here the next day. I tried calling again two days later and their voicemail box was full. I have still never heard from them.I called another company recommended by a friend. They aid they might be here tomorrow. I finally got a call from them 3 weeks later.I heard an ad for Koch & White on W4 Country one morning. I called them and someone was here that afternoon! Amazing service! A part needed to be ordered but in less than a week it was installed.I highly recommend Koch & White. They are my new go to company for heating/cooling/generator service.

Lynn Shaw: Shortly after I moved to my current home last year, I remodeled two rooms in my basement, and laid premium vinyl tile in both rooms. Next, my furnace needed replacing, so I went with a firm I had years of experience with - Koch and White- to replace my furnace and install a new humidifier. Unfortunately, their technicians drained my new humidifier into a floor drain without testing the drain first. The drain was not able to accommodate the additional condensate from the humidifier, and my brand new floors were completely ruined (flooded) and had to be removed. My initial conversations with K&W made me think that they accepted liability, since they didn’t test the drain. (Five licensed professionals have since told me you should ALWAYS test a drain.) K&W agreed to have their insurance adjuster call me. The adjuster called, was extremely cocky on the phone, asked a few simple questions, informed me that they “NEVER test the drains” and, without ever setting foot in my home, denied any responsibility. Two days later I received a denial letter in the mail. I never heard another word from Koch and White.It doesn’t matter how good your product and services are if you don’t stand behind them. The amount I paid to have my floors mitigated then replaced would have been chump change to Koch and White. But to a senior on social security, it was huge. Lesson learned. Daniel Hall: I have been a customer for nearly 10 years. I had a serviceman out because I was experiencing a musty smell when turning on the furnace. The serviceman came out while my wife was home (I was at work) and looked at the furnace itself, but did not check the condensation pump or the humidifier (the main components that may contain moisture). He said it was most likely a normal smell and started the paperwork on the $90 service call. I called and had to convince him to go back and check the condensation pump. When he did, he found that it was full of mold. And this is the same company I have been paying every year to clean and check my furnace. The response I got from the service manager was "not every furnace has a condensation pump" and "my technicians are supposed to clean the pumps if needed during a furnace maintenance for an additional charge". Obviously, they hadn't done that. This was a failure in service that resulted in a potential health risk for my family. I was in no way satisfied by the customer service response I received and have lost all faith in Koch & White.Service:Heating system maintenance

Dan Trevisan: Regular service and certification performed on rental condo furnace in April '21. While work was well-done (hence 2 stars) and cert sticker on unit was signed and dated, contractor did not complete Pittsfield Twp cert form which we apparently require to operate rental. We called Koch and White in August after Twp requested form. We were told they cannot provide form for April service and offered to charge us for another identical service plus the cert fee. After speaking to a second person, they offered to half the service fee. I'm unable to understand why we cannot receive all of what we paid for in April.We will not seek services from Koch and White in the future.Service:Heating system maintenance

He did not talk down to us, but he also did not speak too "techy" to us. We both came away with a clear understanding of the situation. Yuriy Goykhman: I called K&W regarding a pungent smell coming out of the furnace exhaust suspecting a secondary heat exchanger failure. They were able to send a tech within 1 hour of my initial call. Zach thoroughly inspected the furnace and confirmed the exchanger failure. He explained my options and we decided to go with the replacement of the heat exchanger. The next day they called me and told me that they received the part and would be able to install it today. The installation went smoothly and took about 4 hours. In addition to the furnace, Zach noticed an improperly installed water heater vent and offered to fix it. He takes pride in his work and is committed to doing everything with the best quality possible. Looking at his work, I notice that every pipe is correctly supported, every gromet is properly installed, every seal is neat, the workplace is cleaned up, etc. Zach also took his time to answer several questions regarding maintenance and common problems with my furnace. Jarrett came out and did all of the "normal" maintenance checks, but he really took his time to help me understand how to better take care of my furnace (so that it lasts longer). He also helped me order the correct size furnace filters and he explained the importance & timeline of getting my air conditioner checked in the Spring.
