The cashier tells me “ you know if you grab bagels at the grocery store it’ll be cheaper “ first off that was very rude . I can’t go grocery store while I’m at work . & also today was by far the WORST . They’ve ever been . I ordered a Croissant with ham and cheese . There wasn’t any in there & it was burnt. So I went back to get my order the correct way . They claimed they didn’t have any more food . Or anything to put the food in the oven with . Okay fine , just give me a refund. She turns around to her co worker and asks “ Can they get a refund for that ?” I get the refund ask what they want me to do with the croissant they said I can throw it away . I said okay you guys can just throw it away back there . As I’m walking out all I hear is “ And you need to watch your mouth with your talking to me “ … and I don’t wanna even say the rest . Jennifer Durden, J.D.: I placed a mobile order at least 10 minutes prior to heading to the store. Waited about 15 minutes before going to the counter to ask if my Chocolate Brownie mobile order was received. The barista had placed it on the side of the oven and forgot about it. It was busy but not too busy. The same barista was handing customers their mobile orders but for some reason forgot about my order.This location tends to lack in consistent, good customer service unlike the Congress Street location, which is located about 3 blocks away. I try avoiding this location for this reason.

Trav Smith: Probably one of the slowest Starbucks I’ve been too. They seemed very short staffed and the individuals who were working were in no rush. The coffee was fine, Starbucks standard.
Nolan Osgood: This location tends to busy as it is in the heart of Detroit but the staff was still friendly and the service was quick. One of the best Starbucks locations in town. The place was also super clean and spacious.
Zoe Z: Everytime I go to get coffee, they forget at least on ingredient. Mostly the sweet cream foam. It’s so annoying that I’m paying extra for it and they forget it.

In addition the staff well 2 in particular the male cashier and the female barista with braids and beads were highly unprofessional and very rude. Khartoum Lavage: I just came from there and my service was the worst I ever experienced in my life. I paid for a carmel macchiato with an espresso and a double bacon with cheese croissant. They got my sandwich wrong with an English muffin, then they gave me a regular croissant. When I asked for a refund, they acted like it was their first day on the job and neglected to refund me my money for my croissant sandwich I didn't receive. Then, instead of remaking my sandwich the right way, they gave me an expired lemon loaf as though that would lessen the punitive damages already done. I realize I will never be compensated. Take a good look at yourselves, Westin and Starbuck's Company Founders/Presidents. You're supposed to be an upscale establishment. From the looks of things, a parakeet would have handled this transaction more professionally. Thanks for nothing.

Lily Merritt: Normally I go to Starbucks because of the consistent service and their drinks always come out the same. I was really annoyed at this particular Starbucks that the baristas didn't seem to care about customer service. To be fair the drinks were the same as any other Starbucks that I have gone to but the service was just terrible. For being in the Renaissance center I was surprised that the standards were so low. not only were they rude right from the gate but when I asked if they could fill up my water bottle they said no. at every other Starbucks I've gone to, the baristas have happily filled up my water bottle and I feel like it is the least that they could do after paying almost $6 for a latte. If you are staying in the Renaissance center I highly recommend that you just go somewhere else for coffee. Ignore the convenience, it will be worth it to go somewhere else.

W S: The only reason why this is not a one star review is that everyone else who helped me was nice but the young man working over the counter taking orders was not. It was busy and he was taking orders ahead to get drinks started which is fine except when he got to me he just said wait for the cashier to take my order and then immediately proceeds to takes the next 4-5 people orders after me. Usually not a problem except for that fact on how long it took him to take the person behind me order it took the cashier to finish up with the customer ahead of me and i watch him take others orders without asking them to wait for the cashier. Will not be back.

Tee Cakes: I drive past another Starbucks to visit this location. I like this location in the Village. They are always friendly. My online order is prepared quickly. Most importantly, they make my Dirty Chai latte THE best!Parking: Meter parking in the front. Paid parking lot in the back with plenty of spaces.

Evan Estrada: I ordered a venti iced shaken espresso with an extra shot (a drink I have been getting for years) and for a drink with 4 shots of espresso, it is typically a lot darker than the drink I got. When I spoke with the barista, they told me to throw it away and they won't make me another one. I was a little confused so when I asked them to repeat what they said, the barista told me again he won't make me another one so I took this one shot drink and left.
