Lynda Shaw: I have never been to this place. A friend of mine suggested I try it. I needed new Remotes programed to my older car. I called for an appointment. It's first come first serve. I got there and they were kind enough to get to me right away. I can lock my car again. Thanks guys 👍

Victoria Posio: If I could give 0 stars I would! 1500 ON TOP of what my warranty paid and nothing was done correct, somethings not done at all. Complete rip off, and horrible service! I highly recommend not using this shop, they will rip your head off and not stand behind their poor work. I just went to a reputable shop, they fixed what they messed up and did things correctly with only $190 out of pocket. These guys are money hungry and ruthless!

Robert Mendham: My BMW 550i needed a new engine and B & A bent over backwards helping me, working with the extended warranty company to get everything covered. They were super friendly every single time I called, every single employee was helpful! My car was towed there and recommended both by AAA AND by the wrecker driver. He told me that no one else could do as good a job as B & A and he was 100% right! I HIGHLY recommend B & A Autoport to anyone! They are completely transparent, helpful, friendly and HONEST! B & A is the BEST!

CHANEN RAY: Bob charged me for a diagnostic He couldn't diagnose on my Jaguar. He charged me 225$ in diagnostic fees. I explained to him My car stopped after hitting a pot hole. He said my starter and car isn't receiving a signal. I would need an electrical diagnostic. I paid him for an electrical diagnostic for him to say the same thing!!! I needed a starter, no signal. I can pay him to put Starter on but need to take to dealership to finish the job. Didnt make sense so I towed to dealership and they said I never needed a starter! The pothole triggered the inertia switch " which fords have when there is major impact. Asked Bob for a refund and he refused!!!!

It's Uber salty roads there and actually it's my daughter in laws car. I don't think she washed it all winter . .but I digress! The parking lot was FULL of Beemers, waiting for their tax refunds. Hmmm. I decided to take it to my buddy "Walter". ( Who's certified legally) He had them on in a hot minute!

Sweetvk: I talked to other women who had been having their cars repaired there,they were well pleasedI was very pleased as well.The service seemed quicker this time,I called to see how much it would cost to get a radiator put on my 2013 Chevrolet Captiva,I was surprised and very appreciative since im on a fixed income.I dropped her off( my car)Wednesday morning about 9:15 am and she was ready at 12:00 noon.And she runs like a new car,unlike the bad service that I received at Delta Tire and Service,which caused all my car problems on 1 visit.My warranty company send me there but never ever will i go there again.I should have gotten a quote on how much it would cost to rehook up my hazard lights that Delta unhooked and didnt hook back up again when installing my heater core.Guess i will call again.

Diana Nielson: Hoover & Sons was so helpful getting my car back in shape to hit the road again. I was unable to reach highway speeds anymore and getting up to 50mph was a chore. I tried to diagnose it myself (thinking it was the camshaft position sensor, map sensor, or worse the transmission) but everything seemed alright with them and there were no codes either. After taking it to Hoover & Sons, they were able to quickly diagnose it as a clogged catalytic converter. They were able to get it replaced in less than a week. I took it out for a test drive on the highway and it was phenomenal! I was able to merge off the onramp onto the highway at 70 whereas before I was getting on at about 45 or 50mph. Drove over met Nick, he had my car diagnosed in just a few minutes, cracked radiator. Gave me a very fair price. Chuck the owner gave me a ride because I had ro get to a meeting. They called me back four hours later, all fixed. Nick picked me up in my car so I I could test drive it. Went back , paid my bill, visited with Rose their Yorkie and left a very happy customer. They will get all my work from now on.

Nathan Dew: No, Mr. Hoover, that isn't what happened i came in for a shiftercable and was told by one of your mechanics recommended I get the carrier bearing done as well. I agreed and waitied 2 weeks. Feed back was passed to one of your mechanics about the heat when I dropped my vehicle off. I'm sorry your mechanics dont pass feedback... When I asked you Mr. Hoover about the heat you said it was a loose wire to the blower motor which was a lie. Furthermore the carrier bearing was installed incorrectly. I'm not looking for sympathy sir but perhaps empathy and honesty to future customers. I've been got by you guys twice so I will no longer be doing business with you and recommend others take theirs elsewhere. Also if working on an older vehicle is an issue for your shop perhaps you shouldn't take the job. Ordering parts and/or getting them at the local auto parts store has never been an issue for me, wasn't aware of the part shortage nor the milk shortage at Dollar General. Ty for making me aware sir.

Barbara Taylor: Hoover & Sons took really good care of me regarding my Jeep Wrangler. I had always taken my Jeep to the dealership where I purchased it. But after receiving a 2nd quote on services that I DID NOT need, and the 2nd quote doubled in pricing within 2-3 months, I knew that I needed to go elsewhere. Hoover had fixed my daughter's older vehicle a few years back and did a great job. So I decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did. I will be utilizing Hoover & Sons from now on.

I went up there 3 times to get my car after that called and told me to come get it and each time something was wrong and it wasn't able to drive away. Then I was charged another $300 or $400 for the repairs that should have been done already.Edit:You think my review is fake? My car was a 2002 jeep liberty that I took to you for an engine swap. Back in December. My review was taken down for some unknown reason so I hade to make a short one.. if you call me a liar chuck I will post all the receipts I have of y'all ripping me off.

Matthew Griffith: I had to get my alternator replaced. The vehicle was towed to the shop because of this. They called me and told me that the only alternator they had that could be obtained was 400 dollars. So I called around after asking who they had accounts with and found one in five minutes for 237 dollars. After calling back and telling them they told me if I went that route it's be more expensive and that the man was trying to "help me out". All together it was 741 dollars to replace an alternator. If you have any other mechanic go to them because these guys are out for your money or at least with my experience they were.This second part is in response to what you replied. I did authorize the job to be done yes because I wasn't going to get it towed elsewhere. Your employee never mentioned anything about the quality of part, he straight up told me that I couldn't have that one because you guys didn't accept customer parts. Your a liar and if you want to make things right refund me partial on this because it never should have been this costly .

Jeanneann Miller: First time customer here with a huge repair. I want to say all nice things about this place because they were thorough and very kind but it took 4 months to get my vehicle back and communication from the shop wasn't always as promised. There were some bumps along the way with replacement parts and moving then closed down but at the end of the day, things seem to be working good. I'm less than a month into a 90 day warranty but so far I recommend the shop.

Daniel Stopka: We had an issue with our 2002 Buick park ave we took it to Milex. The cost was $1,200, 13 months later the trans started acting up we took it back they said it would be another 1,200. Now a year and a half later it has failed i have went to a different place that will give me a life time warranty for 1,800. So Unless you want to drop 1200 every year i would not recommend this place for Transmission work.Service:Transmission
