Tiah McGann: Pho is my favorite dish, ever. I know good, authentic pho. The people who say the pho is good there, have never had good pho. There are ticks in their pho. The "beef" has a terrible taste to it. The bean sprouts were the only decent thing. Hubby and son ordered rice, and it was pure mush. The best part is the service, and that's because we were the only people there..On the bright side, the young man who was serving was alright! He was considerate and attentive, aside from the fact he wasn't busy. 0/10 though guys.

I especially appreciate ordering my food extra spicy and actually getting spicy food! As always, they only have one person in the lobby covering but he's super quick and polite, no complaints!Vegetarian options: You don't need meat protein in any of their dishes, they are great without. Literally everything can be made without meat.Parking: Spacious parking spots, more than necessary.

Gregoire Bolduc: It's been a while since I've been here. We brought my wife here for an early Mother's Day dinner and she chose Golden Moon.I had the Chicken Almond Dai. It was very good, as was the wonton soup and eggroll. Ate my fill and had enough left over for another one or two meals!I also tried their Chinese beer as I've never had one before. It was bottled and they brought out a frosted mug for it!
Brandy Jones: The food quality is consistent. Always good and hot and fresh. The prep does not take long and the man at the front counter is polite and helpful. The prices are fair for the portion, most of the time the containers cant even close they are filled up. We usually order out from here 1-2x a month. If you like Chinese food it is one of the best spots left in the Flint/ Flint Twsp. area. Enjoy 😉

The portions were large and the meals come with soup and an egg roll. The service was great! Our server was very efficient and friendly, as were all the staff. The prices were very reasonable. Diana Diaz: The food was one of the worst I’ve tried, as soon as I opened the box I got severely nauseous, I attempted to taste the chicken after my first bite I realized that there was plastic mixed in with the food, now out of the 3 trays I got for me an my family nobody could stand the smell nor taste, we attempted to feed it to the dog an he wouldn’t even eat it. Worst Chinese food you can get. I highly suggest this for poisoning someone or making them sick 👍🏼

Paigelynn Wilkes: Out of however many hundreds of places I've ordered from, Hong Da by far and away puts the most love, care, and actual quality ingredients into their food. Every single order is consistent and amazing. It's the closest thing you can get to a home cooked meal that gets delivered by a stranger. These people truly make their food with pride and you definitely taste it. I can't recommend them highly enough.

K Culver: When I moved out here last year, I struggled to find "good" Chinese food. Even though a lot of reviews said other places had good Chinese food, it wasn't even comparable to Gourmet Wok. It is by far the best Chinese food around. I've liked/loved every dish so far, except for the egg rolls. They are not my favorite. But aside from that, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Growing up my family would eat there in person once a week and we became friends with the family. Robert Norman: Best Chinese food I've had. The owner is very sweet, I don't know how some reviews say she is rude. I've been eating here since I was a little kid and have yet to have any Chinese come close. Their chicken egg rolls are the best, especially with the egg roll sauce (plum). The prices are very good for the amount of food you get. Just know that when you call to order she will just naturally know when you are done ordering and ask "how long till you be here?"... if you say 10 minutes she'll say "okay" and it will be ready in 10 minutes. Please help support local restaurants like Moy Kong!
Mandy Myers: This is one of my favorite local restaurants. I've been a customer for about 20 years and I've never been disappointed. They have the best eggrolls and my kids love the sweet and sour chicken. It's always quality meat and the breading isn't too thick. The lo mein is also quite good. Courtney Lynn: My husband and I went there the other day bcus our normal Chinese food place was closed on Mondays. I got the seasmi chicken dinner & my husband got the "shrimp" lo mein. Well first of all, they charged us extra for the shrimp lo mein but actually gave him the chicken lo mein which my husband said was absolutely disgusting. And my seasmi chicken was beyond disgusting. I couldn't even eat it. It tasted like they made their sauce with ketchup, open put tangy BBQ sauce & Sriracha sauce put together which makes a stomach turning combination. There chicken was so hard, I couldn't even cut it up with a fork or a spoon, I had to use sizzors bcus there chicken pieces were HUGE!! Out of all the places we have gone for Chinese food, China City was by far the absolute worst. For 2 dinners that came with a won Ton soup in each, and a shrimp egg roll that came In each, it was $26.50, for food that we could barely choke down & eat. We was soo disappointed. And my husband doesn't complain a lot when it comes to food, and he couldn't hardly even eat it. Idk if there other food is any good, but I know what we got wasn't. That was our first and last time ever going there!

Lisa Adolph: I love this Mom and Pop shop for Chinese! The food is excellent at China City, it never gives me a headache. I know they don't use chemicals like MSG. Every time I need a boost in gut health I order wonton soup! I love the portion size for the price! The lunch size meal, takes me a couple days to consume, it's that big! I drive 30 minutes one way just to go here and for me it's worth it!

F C: I've been wanting to try The Lotus Room since I heard it was like Empress (RIP)Well, they don't offer lunch specials anymore- on their takeout menu they're still there but with a big X out stating "no lunch specials"Their meals only come with white rice & they won't allow you to upgrade to fried for a fee.So only white rice and no egg roll with dinners.I went here in search of a copycat of Empress' sweet & sour chicken with the plain white egg fried rice.After having to buy the egg fried rice at $8 (literally white rice with egg bits in it) and my dinner at $12...This $20 meal was good, yes. But the price? This is out of control. I cannot fathom why they wouldn't let me upgrade to fried rice.Without their lunch specials, this places prices are ridiculous. A Chinese dinner plate at any other takeout place would easily feed 2. There wasn't enough chicken in this box to barely feed me.Disappointed in their prices and portion sizes.Even if they can't sustain a lunch special at the oldPrice listed on their menu- they should still be offering a lunch & dinner combo at a decent price.
