Briefing_Galaxy: I absolutely adore this place. I've been coming to the same location every year since about 2018. It just opened back up and I've already went twice! They have great Halloween Decorations, Masks, Costumes, Props, etc. And just standing in The Store gets you into the halloween spirit! I totally recommend coming! It's great! It does get crowded every Mid-September and the whole month of October though!

Kristen Bullock: No dressing rooms, So we decided to set shop up in the open, (over there clothing of course). We had multiple staff say we could purchase and return if needed. (Mind you we had 2 children with us) who didn't know what they wanted to be. We were not going to purchase 7-10 costumes to return a day later. Then the staff decided to hawk us as if we were thief's looking to get away with a overpriced costume.. After they decided what they wanted ($129.00) later the cashier say we will accept returns up til Wednesday. Mind you ot was Monday.. SMH..They do have a wonderful variety, and cool displays. But don't think we should have been treated that way!My opinion.

Maria Boggan: So i just went to this Spirit Halloween location in August! They had a lot of the animatronics displays up. The inventory was still being stocked and set up but it was nice that they let shoppers come.in and look. Ataff was friendly and ready to help. We came in just to get ideas and will definitely be back!

Jill Thompson: It's early in the Halloween season & that said things may not be fully brought out yet. Therefore another trip more into the Halloween Season may be warranted. As a store however the one in Burton is a bigger store & better laid out though still mostly costumes & less decorations. For now Spirit Halloween is a let down compared to years past with a barely likeable selection this year. The main items seem to be (from the movies) Hocus Pocus merchandise or Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise as seeming to be the bigger theme draws the stores are going for this year if the bigger ticket items like the animatronic characters aren't to the liking or in the budget of the customer.
Adrian Mesker: I'm not sure how anyone could leave a negative review of this store. The prices are comparable to other stores considering they usually offer coupons. The store associates are extremely nice and helpful. The selection is great and the store is clean as well. I found a costume I liked but they didn't have it in the right size and the associates were able to order it from another store without any hassle. The costume arrived in only a couple days. As long as Spirit Halloween keeps coming back to Defiance, I will be shopping there each and every year.

marissa: Not only is there stuff overpriced but I had the experience of watching my son questioned by the associate at the register for steeling a keychain gun on shelf in front of the register cause he simply touched it right in front of her face was even asked for him to basically show his pockets how pathetic I will never go to that store again stay out of the Defiance store location

Julie Fleming: Prices might have gone up, but this place is still the best bang for your buck!! If you compare Goodwill and Salvation Army prices, this place has got them beat. Not as organized, but that's part of the hunt.
NOTW: Doubled prices , majority of things not marked , make up their own prices off the top of their heads . Beyond rude !! Would not recommend this place at all ! GREEDY !!! National pandemic going on and this place decides to DOUBLE prices what they were at one time. Pitiful ! the items are literally slung at their door for FREE then they price hike to DOUBLE ??! WHY ?! OH that's right GREED !!!! Use to be $5 a bag now $10 a bag but watch out you may go up to the counter then they PRICE HIKE on ya all over again folks !

G g: Nice people. Good place to donate things that are too good to throw away but not worth the hassle to sell. I would support St. Vincent de Paul (I do) before Goodwill any day. If you have any larger items such as furniture, they will come out and pick them up. Just call to schedule a time. It is in a very bad location though (east side).

Store that they look up all the donations on Ebay that come into the store and price them occoringli to make more money for them the employees. What happened to helping the poor, feeding the hungry, helping the addicted? The prices is so high that someone on a tight budget can't afford to shop there. This is so sad....even the baby clothes is so expensive. The Salvation Army has always been known to help needing families but not so much now . Sad!
George: Had a weight machine that had the instructions and all the pieces. Called to see if they could take it and the woman that answered said they could. Took it up there and the guy who helps take the items said they could not take it. Took it to Volunteers Of America in Burton and they accepted it and seemed to appreciate it
